sensacional joker_josue e bitmover

2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: June 23, 2022, 01:57:01 PM

lately I feel that being able to master the finals is even more important then the openings, you can get along well with the same opening and the same defense until advanced levels, probably
but knowing how to go to the midgame and checkmate when the  board is almost empty is art!

The truth is that I'm very bad at finals, I'm good at openings and keeping the game in dominance, but when I see that they start to beat me a lot, I don't know, I don't have that ability to recover like the others have, I don't know. if it is that I get tired of thinking or simply how my plans are knocked down, I can't think of another way to get out of trouble, that is why when I play I try to dominate the whole game so that the end doesn't have to think much, there are others who they are experts, who even losing and entering the final stage are capable of turning the game around, I say this because it has happened to me and it really makes me very angry, although I end up accepting that this is part of the game, my anger is with myself.

it's crazy
sometimes the player who has the advantage is not the one who wins because of silly mistakes or not knowing how to finalize the opponent with a clean board, I've played against people who couldn't finalize even with queen + rook against a lonely king, they ended up messing up and losing their rook

of course this probably doesn't happen on higher ranks.

https://www.thingiverse.com/

https://cults3d.com/en

Acabo vendo o lado bom disso... Educação for free.

me parece bem contraditório com o plano geral do PT
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Effectively Maximize Profits from Online Crypto Casinos on: June 22, 2022, 02:31:23 PM
That is so because trading is gambling in a way. You can never be sure about the outcome, you only have probabilities. People who don't understand it, lose a lot in trading. And gamblers that think, I know how to make a bit of money, right? I bet $1k with 98% win chance on dice, and I win 10 bucks easily, right? It's a guaranteed $10 profit, I'll buy myself a beer. And yeah, it works, but only with 98% certainty. And one day ... I mean, it's inevitable, it can happen right away, but it will surely happen one day, and you will lose one thousand USD at once, after risking it for potentially gaining 10 bucks.
I ever experienced this one and it's really fucked up considering I only want to earn steady low profit with low risk, but ended to lose all of my big bet after 10-20+ spins. I'd say 50%-70% win chance on dice are better than 98% win chance, there's some people who take bigger risk to bet on 10-20% win chance because it's more satisfy than rather than 1.01x-2.00x. After that, I wouldn't play dice and roll with 98% win chance, I think everyone already experienced this one.

That's what I'm doing, only not with 10-20% win chance, but with 1% or 0.1% win chance, or even lower. And when you win with that win chance, that's what I call "satisfying". Smiley And this actually happens not that rare as it might seem. It's rare with 0.1% and lower, but with 1% win chance I win almost every day. Just look at my yesterday's hit:

Only don't try to make money this way, guys. It's for entertainment purposes only. Smiley

interesting, you said you win almost everyday with 1% chance
but in how many rolls?
and how you split your total bankroll on that? 100 bets of 1% of total?

thank you joker_josue and gagux123
now it makes more sense

sent one merit for both of you

in the ends more goals won't give more points, only the end result of the game, right? I wonder why they keep track of goals on the main board like that... well.. it's cool of course... but maybe it could affect points somehow too

2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 22, 2022, 01:15:14 PM
For me it was always more painful when Bitcoin pumped because I could remember all the money that I've wasted and kept thinking about the things I'd be able to buy now that I'd have 5 times more without having to take the risk. It's actually amazing how much every small move that we make can affect our future, like the decision to roll the dice. You think you're winning or losing $1000 but you could in 10 years see that at that time you were winning or losing a million.

interesting
maybe we can explore the opposite question of the OP too
Does bitcoin pump have any impact on gamblers?

maybe there's peopple who are less prone to gambling when price is higher, because it would make more sense to hold it.

Darknet diaries: 119: Hot Wallets

2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 21, 2022, 08:04:30 PM
I think gambling platforms don't have a big impact on bitcoin price movements because we can see that the volume of gambling is not too much and it's not always people can get wins in gambling places and very high transaction fees to send to very high gambling wallets prefer not to using bitcoin but using available altcoins like TRX or others.

where can we see the volume of gambling sites?
I thought most of this information wasn't public
is there such think like a coinmarketcap for gambling/casinos?
would be interesting to have some sort of central place where we can check all the data

lembra TryNinja?
bora incluir ele

qualquer coisa eu posso fazer o sorteio tbm

hahahahahaha

even being first it's still quite close with Corinthians
interesting

what is the PJ score on the main table?
couldn't figure it out

then after points and PJ it's

victories / draws / losses / GP? / GC? / SG? / last 5 games

for those who speak no portuguese
just realized I have no idea what GP, GC and SG are either.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: June 21, 2022, 06:41:47 PM
The axie team doesn't receive any money in SLP
SLP is minted by players and burned by breeding with future burn methods/ sinks to be added.

I'd guess they earn in USD directly or stablecoins with some minor distribution in equity as AXS, but I could be wrong of course.
I mean their revenue that can be from SLP, AXS or stable coin. Their revenue on Ronin is falling to the bottom and it will be one of barriers for their compensation of $600M hack. In addition, the total GameFi industry is collapsing and Axie Infinity had to change their concept from Play to Earn to Play and Earn. They did want to change it before the hack but it is not matter before or after the hack, they changed the concept that is a good strategy.

However it seems too late for Axie Infinity and with the bear market, they will again have to build things in bear market like how they started.

it's never too late if you keep building
I think they'll be fine longterm

oh, you meant the revenue on Katana? this is just a small part of their revenue, they make a lot more money from marketplace fees, and they have a huge warchest to keep building through the bear now.

sorry for your loss,
one point I didn't see other people commenting is that metamask store transactions locally only, so transactions done on phone wouldn't show up on computer and vice versa
only on etherscan which is the block explorer itself

I haven't tested it but almost sure this is how it works.
when you hit "reset transactions" all the transaction history disappears too

high chances that this case was a malware on phone or computer, many users report that metamask mobile is not really safe.

exactly Oshosondy
probably the only application of stop loss and take profit on a gambling related scenario would be prediction markets like these futures for elections on ftx or something like that
but still this is much more like trading than like gambling.

That is so because trading is gambling in a way. You can never be sure about the outcome, you only have probabilities. People who don't understand it, lose a lot in trading. I mean, it's inevitable, it can happen right away, but it will surely happen one day, and you will lose one thousand USD at once, after risking it for potentially gaining 10 bucks.

yes! this is the way
thinking in bets, understanding risk reward and asymmetric opportunities

there are many parallels between trading and gambling

the prediction markets I mentioned are more directly trading, like future markets, but there's more

<..>

the safest way would probably use a system where data is stored briefly in a cryptographic way and deleted after verification
but I bet most of the websites store it indefinitely.
The regulations I know about KYC (and which are valid in the EU, for example) require exactly that, yes. Companies like Roobet are not allowed to do the checks themselves, but KYC is done by an external and certified company. However, since Roobet is not based in the EU, I do not know if this also applies here.
But the main thing is: the data would have to be deleted immediately after the review and may not be kept. Whether anyone adheres to this is of course another question ...

yes, this is the thing
it'd be easy to do, but probably there are shady companies that don't do it
~

Probably there are such companies, but they are surely not among those a site of the level of Roobet would cooperate with.

oh, yes, please, I'd never insinuate this or accuse without prove

was just commenting about the fact that it's quite hard to verify if a file was deleted, easier to do the opposite, state that something is there (let's say, sign a transaction) than to prove that you have no copies of it

tricky
