could be processed by a third party

probably contacting the support everyday won't help that much with that matter since it'll just add unnecessary stress on the team
unless it's really urgent matter

Afaik their security team processing the KYC the last time I verify my account. It usually just take 2 days and I can vouch that asking the support to make it faster will not gonna work because they will just said the standard answer to wait for the verification team to process the KYC.

I believe they will need atleast 2 working days to process KYC and that kind of waiting time is not that big deal because I experienced much longer waiting time on other casino KYC verification. Duelbits KYC verification is still faster than the typical casino.
The first time I KYC at Duelbits it only took one day to verify, it was very fast for me, and it's been a long time.
It is possible that at this time the Duelbits verification team has a lot to review, so maybe those who send KYC verification will have to be a little patient to wait for everything to be completed.
I think it's only a matter of time, because Duelbits is one of the fastest acting platforms on all issues.
In contrast to other casinos that don't have a good reputation, they will only stall for time and say be patient and patient without being resolved.

I didn't KYC with them before since I'm not really a gambling player, but if I had problems with KYC I'd probably open a support ticket and wait, better to do things with no hurry

gives peace of mind.

segundo a wikipedia:

Quote
Artificial general intelligence (AGI) is the ability of an intelligent agent to understand or learn any intellectual task that human beings or other animals can.[1][2] It is a primary goal of some artificial intelligence research and a common topic in science fiction and futures studies. AGI is also called strong AI,[3][4][5] full AI,[6] or general intelligent action,[7] although some academic sources reserve the term "strong AI" for computer programs that experience sentience or consciousness.[a]

Strong AI contrasts with weak AI (or narrow AI),[8][4] which is not intended to have general cognitive abilities; rather, weak AI is any program that is designed to solve exactly one problem. (Academic sources reserve "weak AI" for programs that do not experience consciousness or do not have a mind in the same sense people do.)[a]

A 2020 survey identified 72 active AGI R&D projects spread across 37 countries.[9]

ok, até aí tudo tranquilo
qual a questão?

viram o podcast do Elizer no Bankless?
159 - We’re All Gonna Die with Eliezer Yudkowsky

They are now more focus on their social medial account especially on Twitter where you can see most of their promotions and updates, too sad no more representative here in the forum even if they still have a lot of promotions here as well.
They definitely need to be more active in the forum since I don't remember the last time that I saw a Roobet representative post anything meaningful here.

that's correct
duelbits and roobet are running really long signature campaigns and never fail to pay

good to see big companies looking into the forum too and investing in our ecosystem.
It's not just those two sites. There are so many other popular signature campaigns from other sites which have been running for years and don't look like they will end anytime soon. Just goes to show how Bitcointalk's popularity continues to surge with time.

oh, that's true, chipmixer, other casinos, many other websites promote in bitcointalk and I believe this trend will continue for a while
good for us and for everyone who wants to join us

when I mention that trading and gambling have crossovers and similarities I'm not saying they're the same thing
they're definitely different
you can approach gambling with strategy and you can surf luck weaves in trading
I agree that gambling has a wider reach of audience than trading that is for few (few people will be able to master it)

not even sure if it makes sense to thing about "mastering gambling"
Yes, we are not a kid anymore to not know their differences. The reason why gambling has a wider audience than in trading is because it is much easier to do. Earning a profit in gambling is optional but the main goal here is to enjoy but for trading, the main goal there is to make a profit.

You cannot experience fun there even if you will trade the random way and if you will lose, all what you will get is pure disappointment. It does make sense to think about mastering gambling because there are games here which are based on skills and experience. A good example of it would be poker. There are professional poker players. These people already master it.

some kids have better understanding of the world than some adults lol

gambling has the entertainment component as well, really different than trading that is usually not fun and ends up hooking up specific kinds of people (regarding dopamine systems and disposable income)

gambling has lower barrier to entry as well
1367  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 14, 2023, 02:22:36 PM
Before they came to this point where they became so successful Roobet spend a lot of money and this is what other casino need to take consider because if they just rely on short time signature without adding anything that can help to increase more their visibility to more people there's nothing will happen to them. They deserve the success they get and now for adding up influential people as their ambassador/partners they provably earn more success with this since the influence of those people can carry more people to play on their casino.
If you thought Roobet don't have experience with signature campaign or their campaign is short lasting, you are wrong.

They run their signature campaign a few times and the current campaign lasts many months since March 2020. This week is a round 156 of that very long lasting campaign.

In the past before March 2020, Roobet run one or two other campaigns which last a few months before they stopped to verify results.

The 4-week campaign expansion for Snoop Dogg can be considered to continue longer if Roobet team got good results or if they want to run another Snoop Dogg contest after this first one ends in 31 March.

that's correct

1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: March 14, 2023, 02:07:50 PM
It doesn't work that way in sports. It's the other way around: until you prove your innocence, you're guilty. That is why athletes who evade doping tests and the like are banned without question. As for Niemann, he is already a proven cheater, and the fact that FIDE still allows him to participate in their competitions (since he was not caught cheating specifically in FIDE competitions) only shows the impotence of this organization.

Ohh this is interesting but I do understand on why it is the other way around- athletes should put themselves at high regard due to the nature, skill, and fame they put out on the world. They must uphold themselves as truthful to everyone especially considering the scrutiny they face. If they are considered or alleged to be cheated, it is up to them to prove their innocence.

As with the contention against Niemann, it is still being reviewed and investigated. Given the history of Niemann repeatedly cheating on tournaments, I would not be surprised if he cheated on his recent games also.

It's not about morals or ideals or anything. It's more of a math. If the criminal principle is applied in sports (not guilty until caught), then the sport will be instantly destroyed, since even one successful cheater out of 100 destroys the entire existing ecosystem of honest athletes. If you can "legally" run from doping commissioners, refuse to take tests, etc. then competing without doping will simply lose its meaning.
And this is even more true in chess, when it comes to doping it only increases the performance of the athlete and the more skill the sport requires the less effect the doping has on the sport, but in chess you could give a computer with a chess engine to a 5 year old kid and as long as you explained to them they only needed to copy the moves given by the computer and they followed those instructions they will beat even the world champion without any problem, so a very strong stance against cheating in this way needs to be implemented on chess.

that's true
even doping in sports it's really hard to pull out, requires training of specifics skills, time, and comes with much more risks

cheating in chess is much easier to accomplish and with smaller risks

1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 12, 2023, 02:25:16 PM
Congratulations. That was an unbelievable feat. Just this week I tried doing multi bets although I included some matches and sports that I already didn't watch closely. After losing some tickets, I gave up. But after reading this inspiring story, I am thinking of doing it again. And just like everyone else, I am curious if you will share your next multi-bets. I'll give it a try and see if I can get some of your luck. Grin
Don’t panic and jump in to the gamble by just reading someone story. If you jump into gambling only by hearing other people's stories, it will bring you bigger losses.  You will never win big prizes by following other people's stories.  Big prizes are not always won.  It suddenly gets to someone. You can get it too, but neither you nor anyone knows when.  You can try but never panic. Keep gambling with a cool mind

No worries. I never panic about anything mate. And I won't just jump completely without checking it. And besides, if I ever follow OP's bets, it will be very small amounts that won't hurt my feelings if it loses. It would be dumb if people believes that there is such a thing as called sure-bets. Multi-bets are the most difficult in sports betting so we better expect their low chances of winning. Maybe $10 or a little more or less will be my range. If a $300 ticket can win $417k then a $10 ticket can probably get $10k when lucky.

That's right. We should not forget that gambling has only only two sides, it's either you win or lose. There's no such thing as draw as you will just have either one of the outcome at the end of the day, why? I don't think that you will stop betting once your bets hit the draw mark, chances are that you will still continue until you will end the day with losses or wins.
Mostly importantly, you cannot achieve big hits if you're following someone's shadow. If you feel that you're lucky, then go for it. Don't go and start betting if you will just trust your fate in other person's hand.

I'd say there are 4 sides, not only two

win big
win small
loose big
loose small

as in trading avoiding big losses is a must if you want to stay in the game

patience and emotional control plays a big role in the game

Whatever you label it mate, it will still go back to only 2 sides just like a coin. It doesn't matter if you win big, win small, lose big and lose small as defeats are still defeats as well as wins are still a win no matter what angle you're trying to see it.

And actually, we cannot really compare betting towards trading because it's a two different kind. Trading requires experience and learning but for betting, not really. It's just a battle of luck especially if it's just a casino games but for sports betting, that's also a different one.

Trading and gambling are very far unless you are just trading using luck and without any knowledge or experience at all like flipping a coin to decide what trade you will tick into. Though gambling of it needs strategy and also experience like card games still it is all about luck, the main difference is that trading is for profit, business and investment but gambling, is for fun and it is difficult to make a living from it, unlike trading and also in all aspects patience and controling emotions is a must to be successful
Trading without knowledge is just like throwing your money into gambling with no direction , I hate those people that treat trading as like gambling because in gambling we are depending in Luck while in trading we depend in our understanding and researches .
way that truly far from comparing .
in how many years of being here in crypto? i fully understand that trading is not for all people while gambling is for everyone.

when I mention that trading and gambling have crossovers and similarities I'm not saying they're the same thing

Recentemente o BTC me salvou numa viagem.

Eu sempre deixo uns trocados numa carteira no celular.

Eu estava no exterior, e a transferência XP > N26 estava demorando demais, passaram dias e nada (ainda tudo é contado em dias úteis).

could be a good idea to contact their support

Of course, even almost every day I contact the support team they always say the same thing, I suspect KYC is processed by a third party
The support team can not do anything other than waiting for information from related parties.

@BitcoinHunt3r, maybe you need to follow up on that matter. I have no idea how long the KYC process will take because I believe it depends on the user and the country they are gambling from.

I got information from several users there are 1 day, 3 days and 2 weeks what is clear is  I will wait for the longest one before contacting them again
I will continue to update here whatever I get at least up to 2 weeks  Cool

could be processed by a third party

probably contacting the support everyday won't help that much with that matter since it'll just add unnecessary stress on the team

1376  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 11, 2023, 09:49:53 PM
I got a little problem here, my account is required through KYC and I have completed it but unfortunately 5 days since the submission of KYC has not been updated from the team, so I just want to know how long KYC will be processed? Maybe someone experienced it first and gave me information. I just woke up here after seeing the duelbits offering a new promotion but unfortunately there was a little problem.

did you open a ticket?
I'm not fully sure but seems like 5 days would be more than enough to complete verification
could be a good idea to contact their support
1377  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 11, 2023, 01:00:59 PM
You have a point CODE200 but winning every time is impossible
You can try to keep a high track record with way more wins than losses but it’s normal to loose sometimes
With good bankroll management even a gambler with only 50% wins over losses can probably create a profitable strategy
1378  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 10, 2023, 06:40:27 PM
It’s what they say
Either you win or you learn

Labeling things a waste is a really utilitarian view of the world. Nothing wrong with that but life has many dimensions

I’d start with the idea: do you gamble for fun or for profit?

Knowing that changes everything
1379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about stop gambling services issued by gambling platforms? on: March 10, 2023, 06:11:15 PM
If there is such service, do not be surprised if it would not backfire on gambling sites because gambling is just in nature of humans.

There are some gambling sites that have articles that can help gamblers, notifying them when to stop gamble, they do notify gamblers in their gambling site. But I do not know if some gamblers that are getting addicted are reading it or not.

Also is self-exclusion.

But the best help a gambler can get is to self-discipline himself and know the truth that he can not gamble to make money, and to realize how greedy he is becoming to earn from gamblers sites. Also if family member noticed, self-exclusion and rehabilitation is indeed necessary.

Gambling is not human nature
It just hijacks our dopamine system in a way that hooks us
Intermittent rewards are cool but can be really detrimental to our judgement specially when clouded by emotions
