2301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: August 30, 2022, 11:45:14 AM
this is like an amateur boxer fighting against professional lol .

but of course Butler will always keep chance with strong and heavy  punches  Grin

Butler still have 4 months for preparation , Maybe he will do everything in training to improve his capacity in facing greatest fighter of his time in His division .

Inoue will simple take this Belt for sure , Butler may have skills but not enough for this Japanese boxer that had already Shown his power over best asian fighter in the past , so  I believe that Butler is not the one who will beat Inoue but who truly knows?
boxer can make their opponent Down with lucky single punch.
yet nit until the fight is over , Butler will always chance to win

Hopefully this will be at least an entertaining fight, we all expect that it's just going to be a one-sided fight since we know how good and strong Inoue is, but this is an undisputed bout, it should be entertaining to watch. My prediction, Inoue by KO.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 30, 2022, 11:03:44 AM
The current lineup that defeated the KSA is already a good roster, leaded by Clarkson, I think with better chemistry and coaching job, we could have won against Lebanon.

Yes, because we have Kai Sotto and Clarkson already, how much more if we already have Jalen Green who is also an NBA player, this team will really improve so we need a good coach to carry it to its success.

Meanwhile, let's talk about the game tomorrow. I checked on my bookie and the line was very surprising.

SMB now is -3.5, the opposite of line in game 4.  Shocked
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 30, 2022, 10:44:51 AM

We just need to wait patiently for the official announcement.

EDIT: According to the progressing story here on Bleacherrepport website, the fight is somewhere going to happen on November 12 or 19 according to Boxing insider Dan Rafael

If that so, then we are close to seeing an announcement for their upcoming fight and hope that it would be what's the fans want to see, a real clash until one of them got knockout. It's really rare to see such a fight because when you looked at it when huge money involves, it took them years to negotiate. the more they delayed the fight, the harder it could happen but thankfully they took the chance to push it because the fans really wanted to see it this year and there is no reason for them not to fight this time because they already beat every potential opponent out there.

There should be no more excuses from either fighter, the price is right for sure, so they should fight. Risk that undefeated record and let there will be an undisputed champion, and in order to make it exciting, put a rematch clause in the contract.
2304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sheesha Finance ? on: August 29, 2022, 10:26:51 PM
Decentralized Finance projects are quite not growing and only a few investors are willing to take risks with them and I see their value is declining due to low market demand. However, making a choice of those Defi projects that are currently working on is still a good option but not sure about the new one.
Well, having viewed the sheesha finance is looks great and promising project but yes, it was more confident if we see this project is working already and see its results.
2305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still into high APY projects? on: August 28, 2022, 10:34:36 PM
What's the end of those high APY projects with 99,000% returns? The likes of Helena and others? I haven't heard about them in a while, the last time I checked they have no volume on exchanges anymore..

Projects that offer like this are doomed to fail.  They have an unrealistic offer that is hard to support, so as a result many of these kinds end up without any demands.  Imagine, a project due to a low budget conduct crowdfunding then they will have this high APY offers to investors.  Who in the right mind will offer a high return when the project itself is struggling with funds and needs investors to start the project?  Of course, those whose goal is to money grab will be the ones to offer these kinds of schemes and they really don't care about the economics of the project reason why most of them become worthless.
Perhaps, it was a common issue in new projects and offering huge APY to gain more attraction from the community, and later on, they will just leave. I'm not sure what is the team is planning but in most cases, this is likely to fail just like the others. And I'd never see it was worth investing in this kind of project knowing that it was not working already and no idea where the team gets money to give to their investors.
And just like what you think, I feel doubtful about these projects who offer high APY.
2306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Meme coins going to make it to the next bull market? on: August 26, 2022, 09:32:35 PM
They could make it to the bull run but it doesn't mean that they will be useful. We should all remember that they're just pumping because of the hype and influencer manipulation. They could strike a good price and stay active because lots of investors have invested in them. They have a good trading volume. I'm pertaining to the most active meme coins like Shiba and Doge.
Of course, they will. As long as they can manage to survive in the current market condition, no doubt that they were still a part of the upcoming bull season. I'd see no reason of hating these coins Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, but yeah, I don't make them a part of my crypto journey and invested them. Honestly, I see gaining potential with Shiba but it is not enough to give faith in it. And also, I only invest in a few altcoins, and meme coins are not on my list to consider.
2307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 26, 2022, 09:13:19 PM
The rise of KYC in many casinos, even in well-known and reputable casinos, makes many gamblers feel that their playing time is almost over because those who previously did not need to do KYC are now forced to do KYC.

I'd certainly see that KYC becomes an issue in most gambling sites and has probably been opposed by many players. I'd see this will have an impact on the gambling business and lessen the number of players but as long as they will understand that situation and make know the reason why and they will still turn back and play again.

In fact, some known casinos are already doing this, especially those that have huge withdrawals and I think it was still acceptable as this KYC also is referring to the security of our account.
2308  Economy / Speculation / Re: I've been confused in BTC on: August 26, 2022, 08:57:51 PM
I'd see the lack of your experience and market exposure make you think about it and even have doubts. Therefore, I suggest you make more digging in order to find out what happens in the past and for you to see how Bitcoin is going. if you can see the fluctuation of prices, up and down of the trend, then you can say it was normal and most of all, we have nothing to worried about.

from $0 to the current price, not even wondering - it was absolutely growing.
2309  Economy / Economics / Re: Education on: August 26, 2022, 03:11:42 PM
I'd see how people respond to OP and it was to see that majority valued education more than anything. And for me, it was not just a simple thing but it considers a treasure in my life. Besides, a lot of people wanted to go to school but unfortunately, their capability is not enough to send their kids to school, and have no choice but to urge them to work.

Honestly OP, it was easier for us to look for a better job if we have a good education and of course, a high salary. Think about its advantage and don't make that an example. And yes, making us living in a comfortable life is also a choice.
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I have bought Bitcoin ? on: August 26, 2022, 02:16:16 PM
In 2015 many people threw away Bitcoin just to buy a few things they needed or something else using Bitcoin, without them realizing the price of Bitcoin from year to year is always growing and continues to grow until now. Therefore, how important it is to store Bitcoin from the past until now because in the development of technology that is increasing, surely one day everyone will hold Bitcoin for investment that is really very useful in the future.
That was because nobody is able to travel ahead of time and tells that this gonna happen. People had thought before that Bitcoin can't have a higher value and did not expect this will gain wide attention and they spend thousands of Bitcoin on Pizza. Just imagine how Bitcoin is able to grow fast and gain attention from whales, businessmen, and big companies. And it was now to say that being an early adopter is not regretable but consider this an opportunity that once been ignored by many individuals.
2311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: August 26, 2022, 01:39:43 PM
I'd see some people referring to Trading just as gambling because they don't know what they are doing and lack of knowledge, and they do trading relying on LUCK, not their skills and knowledge. I understand their situation but we can't make the wrong things be right because the truth is that Trading is Trading while Gambling is betting.
You can't bet in trading, I'm sure of that but you can make a bet in casino games and sports betting. It is better to clear about it OP because the two are far different.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 26, 2022, 01:02:41 PM
^^ I don't think there is "testing of waters", they know already  that it will be big, and so it boils down to money. Maybe not the boxers directly as they could be settled on "XX amount of dollars as guarantee", but it's more on the people behind them, their Promotional Company and the Network executives, they might be recomputing the risk involved as well, like PPV numbers because for sure it will be illegally stream, thus cutting what will they got as revenues and it will be enough to make them huge profits as well because we all know that boxing is a business.

Agree to that, they are computing the potential profits before both camps will agree to any settlement, they both know that the

risk in terms of careers is very high and with the big hypes under their names they needed  to make sure that the profits that they will be

getting from this possible big fights will guarantee both camps for huge amount of money. It's a business and promoters and handlers

will take all the cut from each venue of possible money making side.

We know that already, they can make a big amount of money in this fight, but if there greediness will come in and they won't agree with one getting a bigger share, then there's a possibility that the fight will not happen, but the chance is very low IMO.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 26, 2022, 12:31:11 PM
I believe that Chet just had a freak accident and it wasn't even his first year at all, dude got injured during the summer. So if he goes to gym, gets buffed and gets better physique until next season, then he will be much more ready. What people do not understand is that the difference between college and NBA help is a lot, and I mean like driving a regular car vs being on a rocket ship type of difference.

I am not saying he could have Giannis levels of difference, but I am sure he will get a bit more buff, just a bit. That's why I believe that we should be waiting for 2023-2024 season to start and he will look a lot more different and be a lot better.

With basketball as your profession, anyone could buff themselves up whenever they want it. Because they all have the focus to enhance themselves in every possible way unlike when you're still in college. These kids work hard to reach this far. Now, what they'll gonna do is to work harder than before as they just entered the league of the best basketball players in the world. So, yeah everyone is expecting for Chet to enhance his physical appearance and make it more solid.
This kid got potential as he has the skills of a guard and he still have a lot time in the NBA and a lot of time to improve. So, this 1 season he'll miss won't mean anything as long as he continue working regardless of the injury.

Aside for doing more extra efforts to became more better player they also need to do extra care since your potential will go into waste if you are injury prone player. And I guess the current injury accumulated by Chet is totally bad for his career since imagine how big the impact with it for not playing for his whole rookie season.

Not good because he was expected to have a great rookie, but we can never guess what will happen, basketball is a physical sport, injury could happen anytime. Well, if he will be out for the whole season, he just have to make sure he will do everything to start strong and make a name in the NBA.

A very disappointing news, he is a rookie that could make his name in the NBA due to his great skills. Injury is really killing an NBA player's dream, hopefully he will recover soon, missing one whole season is really disappointing on his part as well.

2314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc crime on: August 26, 2022, 10:51:02 AM
Wherever there is money, there is also crime. That has always been the case in revolutionary. The greed of the people is the the problem. It drives one to a criminal action. So it's not just Bitcoin, it's everything else: Money, food, business deals, cars, houses, services and everywhere else where you deal with money. So criminal acts with "normal" money will happen much more, as it happens with bitcoin. The reason: bitcoin is used by less than 1% of all people in the world, so it doesn't happen so often.
And whether we like it or not, this kind of criminal act has no ending story but expect a continuous doing as these criminals and those who are about to start had felt no worries at all. This was found to be normal this time and much easier for them due to new technologies surrounding us and sad to say that even the law enforcers are already involved with this. Definitely yes, we can't just blame Bitcoin for this as this kind of activities been already exist before this.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu has no value and shouldn't be bought on: August 25, 2022, 11:47:54 PM
You are right in your saying but We cannot deny this fact that most of users just enter into market because of these Memecoins. Shiba Inu was promoted by many YouTubers and many newbie who did not know how to buy and sell crypto follow YouTuber instructions and buy Shib. Shiba Inu gave Huge profit to these Early buyer and many whale are still in favour of Shiba Inu. I believe that in long term it will go down hard but not bad for short term  if someone use just 2-5 percent of Portfolio.
indeed, the Hype of meme coins at that time was very big, and the presence of Shiba Inu which always says better than Doge also attracted many investors and also holders. We also cannot deny that many people have got big profits from this meme coin.
But, is it enough to say that Shiba Inu is a worthwhile investment in the long term? I don't think so. Many people may have a big profit, but many other people also lost so much money on this meme coin. In my opinion, meme coins or other coins that rise up because of hype will not be good for long-term investment. It is better to get into the top coins that have exact fundamentals and values rather than investing in this kind of coin, that has bigger risks.
I'd see the risk in projects that have been hyped, many projects turn to nothing after the surge but these Shiba Inu and Doge had even stayed in the market for a while which is why many investors have the guts to invest in them. And if we talk about profit, absolutely many investors made a lot of money from them but yes, I was going to agree that holding them for long is not a smart choice knowing that it was a meme coin and can't just ignore how they look like.
2316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable as a starter to engage in future trade? on: August 25, 2022, 11:26:28 PM
When I login to my trading App (Exchange), I do see an option for future trade and when try to give it a try, I will see a notification reading "Future trade can be very risky".
Is it advisable as a new trader to engage in future trade?
It was to find out that most exchanges are encouraging trading to take Futures Trading and make more gains from them. I'd see a lot of advertisements talking about huge profits from it which is literally an eye-catcher to the greedy people. But I don't think this is really a good idea for the beginners just like you OP and you have to consider the high-risk meant for Futures Trading that makes it not advisable for the new traders. I'd say better take the Spot trading first and gain experience before stepping up.
2317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: August 25, 2022, 01:20:17 PM
Ramirez records shows that he is far stronger than the two boxer.  with 44 wins against 20 by Bivol, Ramirez have way more experience and the % knockout shows that he is also have an advantage against Bivol.  Not saying Ramirez stopped his opponent on his last 5 fights.  Pretty impressive IMO.  While Bivol last 5 fights are ended via decision.  I disagree that this one is cherry-picked.

I see you know how to google. Now use same technique to check those 44 opponents of Ramirez and 20 of Bivol and try to compare their records.

Among those 44 wins, there are fighters that had a debut fights, fighters with negative record, fighters with number of wins a bit higher than number of losses. Bivol also had such opponents, but Ramirez has more or those kind. And dont forget that Bivol has around 300 fights in amateur career (sorry, I havent found info about Ramirez amateur career). Also dont forget that Bivol beat the guy with 57-2 record, that is better than 44-0 Cheesy

It will always boils down to the quality of fights they have, numbers are just useless if a fighter is not fighting the best. At least Bivol fought Canelo who is a celebrated fighter, not only beat him but humiliate him by beating him in a one sided fight.

only 2 fighters beaten Canelo, and the first one was a hall of Famer which is Floyd Mayweather.
2318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 25, 2022, 12:17:35 PM
Current betting odds are moving into reality now because I believe Donaire has a better chance of beating Inoue due to his extraordinary power in that division than a 40-year-old GGG moving up for the first time as a full super-middleweight against a much improved Canelo. It is 1.16 for Canelo and a massive 4.60 for GGG which was only 3.00+ when the fight was announced. Donaire was 4.00+ against Inoue so I cannot believe GGG was only 3.00+ during the early stages of the build-up.

If Canelo survived against GGG's powerful shots some years ago, how much more now? And we already know that corrupt judges will always try to steal victories away from B side fighters over the years like what happened to this year's Bivol-Canelo, Taylor-Serrano, and Joshua-Usyk II.

Yep, I just look at the current odds and GGG is 4:1 underdog, and over/under is set to 10.5 rounds. Over is just 1.4x so there is no value betting on it as this fight might go full 12 rounds again as both have good chin and even if they have fought for 24 rounds already, no one was knock down. So I might go with the Winner & exact rounds or the Winner & round range bet in this fight. The odds are very attractive and maybe we got lucky and hit a good returns.

I will bet on GGG, it's his last fight with Canelo, so I would not miss this opportunity to support him with my bet. I know people are thinking that GGG is old, however, Canelo has now beat him clearly yet, so there's still a chance that GGG could upset the young Canelo.
2319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin rise again? on: August 24, 2022, 10:35:14 PM
Well, it was a regret of not believing the potential of Bitcoin and ignoring the chance to buy this at this current price. I know that some people like the OP are thinking negatively about Bitcoin but I encourage you to open your eyes and see the gaining potential of this project. And I encourage you as well to just also listen to people who say positive things towards crypto in order for you to have some basis and to weigh which one is telling the truth and whos not.

And one last thing is to consider the market history for this will exactly tell you what really happens in the past before you come in crypto.
2320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: August 24, 2022, 01:46:18 PM
Solana May be the next Binance Smart Chain, but won’t replace the Ethereum.Because the BNB struggling for the same place. They had huge supporters then solana,So they will try to take the place of Ethereum. The Ethereum will move to the next phase of development, for this the Ethereum had involved in Ethereum 2.0.When the king left his power, the new powerful person will take the place of king and not the Soldier. So it take long time for the soldier to get the power of king. The Solana will take some time for the full growth.
But that was the not scenario I was thinking about. BNB will retain its position and also ETH. Developers won't let that way too easy for the Solana project to beat the big 2 projects that have already been well-establish and already gained huge trust from the community. It only appears that Solan will just be next to them and I think, that was enough.

I have Solana, BNB, and ETH but guess what, I put more funds to ETH coz I was really confident of this project more than any altcoins in the market.
