1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 19, 2023, 12:59:58 PM
One thing I have noticed is the step by step increase in Bitcoin prices from January to April. Bitcoin is nearing a bull market as the price of Bitcoin continues to rise as the day goes on. In February, Bitcoin price ranged from 20k to 22k and in March it reached 28k and stayed there for a long time. Bitcoin price has completed 30 in the month of April if we consider this history step by step Bitcoin price is rising every month. And by the end of 2023, the price of Bitcoin will increase twice as much as it is now. The reason for this is that we can learn from the past several months of 2023.
And one reason is that investors had already improved their understanding of the crypto market as they are now more knowledgeable than before. Their experience gives them an idea of when to invest and when to hold, and of course, they are certain of their purpose of coming here and that is to wait for the next bull season making them hold and so the price increases more.
I could see this will double the price of Bitcoin when it talks about the new ATH but can't also deny the possibility that it surpasses the last 2021 ATH.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 19, 2023, 12:05:01 PM
It is a question of why? But OP doesn't make any comment and say something about the reason why choosing them, maybe he has a valid reason to believe that either of the two coins will give him decent rewards. Too bad to think about why choosing them because we know that there are better coins than these two and besides, we've never found a reason to put in such a huge amount of money when we can choose ETH or BTC and we can be sure that it will multiply when the market turn bullish, unlike how these XRP and ADA can do.
1363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 19, 2023, 11:10:18 AM
Tank shaming Garcia into accepting his offer to bet the purse on the fight is one of those things where I have to wonder if they are just doing it to try and get some more eyes on the fight.  I don't think either would actually bet their entire purse on the outcome of the fight no matter how confident they are.  I guess we'll have to wait and see if they sign the contracts, but I don't think any "bet" like this has ever actually played out.  After seeing the clip though, I'm firmly on team Garcia.  I hope he knocks out Tank and gets his purse.  Seems like Tank needs to humbling.

They should do it! It will make the fight more exciting and it will be very similar to Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury where the winner takes everything, the loser only has bruises and hospital bills hehehe!

We are on the date of April 19 already! Only 3 more days! I am very excited! I also wish the announcement for Crawford vs. Spence is not an April Fools joke!

And they also went into the media tonight to promote the fight even more, Ryan Garcia with Oscar and then head trainer Goosen, and we also have Tank with Leonard Ellerbe.

No announcement yet of the Crawford vs. Spence, I thought someone will spill the beans, but we will have to wait till the fight night itself.

For the crowds, it's huge lots of reporters not just from the US but from other parts of the world too covering this big fight.

This is definitely a big fight, and the winner will surely become more popular all over the world. This is the first big fight that has happened this year, so all attention is on them. I hope both boxers are already 100% ready for the fight. They cannot just focus on hyping the fight, but also need to ensure that they are fully prepared.

And by the way, don't forget to place your bets already.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 19, 2023, 10:51:47 AM
^^ Yeah, same with the Grizzlies game, it was very close until Ja Morant went out and it changes the game for them. Of course, we will give credit to the Lakers for taking the game 1 at Memphis, Hachimura can't missed on the 3 point line.

And then what can we say? Reaves is quiet the first two quarters even missing a easy shot in the first quarter which he usually make. But in the 4th he takes over the game and the Lakers fan love him.

So there are two upsets tonight, Lakers over Memphis and then the Heat taking advantage of Giannis winning this one.

Yes, even if the Los Angeles Lakers had a much easier way in the fourth quarter because of Ja Morant's hand injury, we can't discredit Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura's presence in the court because they were a vital key and the main reasons why the Lakers owned the 1st game vs the Memphis Grizzlies. Well, AD and LeBron was good as expected but the key players was the highlight in this game.

That makes 3 upsets, Lakers defeated Grizzlies, Heat defeating the Bucks, and there are the Clippers who defeated the Suns as well.

And with that, it seems that the Memphis Grizzlies are not ruling out Ja Morant's playing in game 2. I wouldn't say that  this is a must win for them, but they don't want to dig a deeper hole against Lebron and the Lakers going into their homecourt with a 2-0 lead against them. So if there is by chance then Morant will have to show up in this game. It seems that every playoff though he got injured himself and so we are not seeing the full potential of his Memphis Grizzlies although they are not complete because 2 of their players are sideline already.

Even before the Lakers won game 1, I already thought that the Lakers are just too much for the young Memphis team. Now, they have proven that they are the better team, and with the situation of Morant, the Lakers could potentially have an edge. Even if Memphis wins game 2, and the Lakers win games 3 and 4, Memphis will still be in a big hole as only a few teams have come back from a 3-1 deficit.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No late comer in bitcoin Investment. on: April 18, 2023, 09:41:40 PM
Those who will invest in crypto had never said they are late but those who keep blaming and doubtful about Bitcoin had no way in. The more we keep asking if we ate late or not, will simply mean that we really don't have the plan to do it. In this case, we better make ourselves clear that the crypto space is not for us. Don't get jealous if others have a great journey in crypto because they take the opportunity without doubt and without asking "if I was late or not" instead, they did what they think is right.
1366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 18, 2023, 06:04:59 AM
As for the Haney vs Loma fight, the odds hasn't move a bit, Loma is still a 3:1 underdog.

As expected, Loma is still the big underdog here. Everyone is likely rooting for Haney to get an easy win because he is the younger and stronger fighter, so there should be no problem winning. However, I love surprises, so I want Loma to shock Haney and prove to him that he hasn't fought a technically skilled fighter as good as him.

Is 'shock' really the appropriate term? LOL. I think that word is used when one is not expected to win, and although Loma is quite the underdog here, he is capable of winning. Perhaps he will surprise the doubters, but the believers won't be shocked because they trust Loma to bring his A-game in the biggest fight of his career this year.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 18, 2023, 05:16:39 AM
2-0, who would thought that?

The Kings are really upping their defense and chemistry in this game. They didn't panic even when the Warriors made a comeback courtesy of Klay Thompson's two 3-point shots. The loss of Draymond Green was a big factor as he got emotional and kicked Sabonis in the stomach, causing his ejection from the game. I hope this doesn't happen again, as they need to win game 3. If they still lose, I would say the Warriors' dynasty will be over this playoffs.

It was a great win for the Kings, and they deserved it. Everyone played well.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 18, 2023, 03:30:50 AM
Well, in that part you have a complete reason, I saw that fight with the full intention that Pacquiao could give one of those explosive Demonstrations to which we were Accustomed, but I don't know what happened to the Filipino, maybe at that moment it was not thinking more in politics than in anything else, that fight was really a shame, I'm sure that if Pacquiao had Trained a little harder he would have won the fight easily, there are times when athletes trust only their talent and don't train or not they work to improve and be more efficient, and things like that happen.

He mentioned that he was having problems with his foot after the fight, which affected his movement. Pacquiao is known for his quickness, but he wasn't as quick when he fought Ugas, so it's clear that he was telling the truth. However, upsets can happen in boxing, so we can't discount the possibility that Donaire could lose for any number of reasons.

Yes, he retired after that loss. He probably had a lot on his plate, as he was also running for President at that time.

Concentration is a big problem for boxers, and it may have been a factor in his loss. Anyway, his journey in boxing is over, so let's now focus on Donaire and see if he still has anything left in the tank.

Although Donaire may be old, he is still worth watching as long as he keeps winning.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 17, 2023, 09:32:14 PM
OP, if you are about to risk your $40,000 and only invest in one coin, you'd better be smart and put it in the most secure coin in the market - Bitcoin.
But I tell you that and just like what the others are saying - you better spread that amount. At least 5 different coins are safe enough.
BTC, ETH, Matic, ADA, and LINK - they are not gems but we are looking for an investment that can really be trusted in the long term. But of course, put huge chunks on Bitcoin and ETH in order to have a good portfolio.
1370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis a must know in crypto trading? on: April 17, 2023, 11:17:56 AM
Well, if we want to succeed and reach our goal in trading, then we have to learn many crypto trading tools and so we should have to learn TA.
It has to note that TA is one of the vital tools in trading. We don't have to do it instantly but we can learn this somehow gradually as we are in actual trading. We don't have to be perfect on TA as it was also impossible but at least having this stuff will help us a lot as to we have an idea of what we gonna do next - when to buy and when to sell.
- it is necessary
 - it is difficult to predict the market without TA

While we are in trading, then it is a must also to learn Technical analysis or else, don't blame the market for why we lose but instead, blame ourselves for why we underestimate the market.

Yes, there is no perfect TA, however, we do this as it was needed in trading and we come to this idea as it has a huge impact on making our decision.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 16, 2023, 09:55:51 PM
What is your thoughts?
As we about to enter the altcoin season, I think we should be careful of the altcoins we still choose to invest in and the number of altcoins we invest in. Choose a few altcoins that you have researched to have good potentials and invest small amounts in them. Do not make the mistake of investing in too many altcoins, as it increases your chances to gain more, it also increases your chances to loose.
When the bull season is coming, people are buying more altcoins which is why we could see that prices went high due to increase demand. It will continue until the bull season and so developers trying to catch this event and launch their useless projects. Now, if we are too careless in choosing altcoins, you will be right and the chances of losing are high.
Research is really a weapon to avoid this thing happen to us and most of all, we don't have to rush in making a decision unless we are investing old coins.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 14, 2023, 01:22:12 PM
When it comes to altcoins, it's really hard to keep holding on especially when you see the price is currently rising at its current ATH and the other cryptocurrencies are not moving their price. Of course, you won't gonna wait for a bull run when you witnessed those sceneries because you won't know whether the price will still be like that or it might be not the case anymore because it's already over for that coin and the reason for that is, the hype has already subsided and the price right after that is going to decrease little by little each day.
I hate to say this but as per market observation, many people can't wait for the ATH but rather make early decision to sell when seeing the price is growing. And I would say that people had already change after missing the last 2016-2017 bullish market for not selling their coins at high price. But unfortunately, the outcomes is not good and a reason why we can't see that price keep on high as it ended just days as these investors selling of their coins to make sure that they will never miss the opportunity again.
1373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 14, 2023, 01:02:46 PM
I think the best solution to solving what you don't have concrete knowledge about is to study about it. Go through practical examples of those of them involved in it, read the Bitcoin White paper.
A lot of people from the third world countries that are into bitcoin and crypto didn't just stay idle about it, they did their research and investment time and energy into it, before they started making progress.
Perhaps, knowledge is an investment too. If we wanted to know more about Bitcoin, we have to find ways, we don't need to be spooned feed, instead have to spend time on the internet because there are a lot of learning resources now that talk about crypto space, they are just waiting for us.
Because you are living in a third-world country as long as you have the passion and are eager to learn about crypto investment, there is always room for it. It is not the hindrance anyway but what makes us for not doing is because we wanted shortcuts and sadly, it only leads us to nowhere.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 14, 2023, 11:49:38 AM
i play slots hoping to win 'big win' or 'jackpot' but many times it don't hits and my balance get drained after betting many times in one slot machine. i play more bets hoping it already took my so much balance it will definitely going to hit this times, but it never happens, and my balance becomes "0".

It was difficult to win the jackpot prize in the slot, honestly. If you believe in luck, I think you need it before getting the prize.
But I would say that don't chase winning in gambling, especially in pure-luck games because the more you think about it, the more you will suffer losses. It was a result of being desperate, doubling our bets thinking that we can recover our losses but in the end, we just notice that we are only multiplying our losses.
1375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis a must know in crypto trading? on: April 14, 2023, 10:10:25 AM
Was really curious to understand if technical analysis is vital or just a means to reduce risk. Thanks in advance
Technical Analysis is vital in trading and a must to know prior to starting trading. Might it find hard and not work great at first but you will know later how important it was when fully engage in the market volatility. But yes, even you know TA, don't make yourself very confident that you are totally safe and not incur losses because whether you like it or not, this will happen to any of us. But if we talk about how useful is this in trading, this is one tool for our success.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH has the capacity to pass BTC? on: April 14, 2023, 09:35:49 AM
Not sure if this going to happen but we are all free to decide as it is our money to risk, though I will maintain my Holding majority for bitcoin and will hold small part for altcoin like ethereum.
ETH is working and doing great today crossing 2k again , but to surpass bitcoin is a Bit over expectation in terms of pumping percentage .
but lets see, since we as crypto holder can benefits no matter whom to move high first.

And in your case, you already decide that Bitcoin is your priority, not ETH. Meaning, you never let ETH surpass BTC and it is because you know that BTC has the capacity to rule over the market while ETH remains the #2 no matter what.
Because even Ethereum will pump 100%, we can't consider this as an indication that Bitcoin had losing capacity as it sometimes happens in the market. What we need is consistency and I know it never happens, it drops back and possibly BTC will rise at that time. They can be in opposite directions.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 14, 2023, 04:18:47 AM

Quote
Among the other coaches who received votes, sources said: Milwaukee's Mike Budenholzer, Oklahoma City's Mark Daigneault, Boston's Joe Mazzulla and New York's Tom Thibodeau. Each coach votes for one winner and can't vote for himself.
But I do see some media revealing their votes and most of it are for Coach Brown. He will win this one, without a doubt. He made the Kings better, 2006 was their last playoff appearance and now they made it again. A sensational coaching job, thanks to Mike Brown, even I was dragged by the Kings hype.

That was based on how the Kings had performed, coming from a team that has been struggling, and this season they finished number 3 in the West. It's a huge achievement for Coach Mike Brown, who's no stranger to successful coaching, but he deserves the reward. Now, in the playoffs, I think it will be a bigger challenge for him and the team. Even if they exit, they've already had a commendable season and will come back stronger next season.

Yep, based on how he leads the performance of the entire team, with him as the orchestrator of the plays he really did well mentoring the players, I like how they execute all those plays and how the chemistries build up.

It's the good relationship between players and the coaching people that really gives them the recognition
now, finishing 3rd and securing the first-round playoff position, a good achievement for coach Brown.

Unfortunately, they might exit early in the playoffs as they're up against the Warriors, a proven championship team. If they manage to beat the Warriors, then they'll earn a lot of respect from the fans. Therefore, hopefully they'll pull off a big surprise and upset the defending champions.
1378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 14, 2023, 03:26:16 AM
...

With the common calculation, in today's price single bitcoin could make a person rich. In my country one can have a small house and invest a small part with which he can get a small income. Wirh the remaining he can start a small business and lead his life fulfilling the needs of the family of four.
Feeding the family as a breadwinner is the core duty of every mature minds and fitting in that shoe won't be an easy task to handle. Bitcoin is ranked first when it comes to crypto related top projects. Been in possession of 1 Bitcoin would change your story, you will drive a nice flashy car, own a house and also anticipate in a business inother to keep the money flowing in. But owning 1 bitcoin during the bear seems like a loss because there will be limited number of things to do with it. Unlike the bull period where you can purchase whatever things you want in a store.
1BTC is equal to 1BTC no matter what condition the market is. Because as long as you are not selling it when it dumps, you will never incur losses.
So, if you have 1BTC in your wallet, you already consider yourself rich compared to those who are holding just only 0.1BTC. But it doesn't mean we have to keep 1BTC forever as it only gives us profit if we sell them.
Buy, hold, and sell - this is how the crypto space works. Invest more, so we can earn more, like doing in real estate as rich people keep buying low and selling them high.
1379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trade vs. HODL - avoid traps on: April 13, 2023, 09:37:44 PM
I'd say that people have an interest in trading because of what they see on the internet as some traders encourage people to trade. Yes, many have tried and failed, they'll think that it works too easily.
In fact, I was trying this before together with one of my friends, and guess what, I fail while my friend become successful. I was wondering why even if I ask him what he did and follow what he said, I'm still losing. Now I realize that even though these influencers will show us what they do, it won't give us assurance that we become successful and be like them, and this is because we have different decisions in every situation.
1380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: April 13, 2023, 09:19:11 PM
I was thinking new kind of plan to buy bitcoin every month from my salary immediately my company paids me but I still have other responsibilities to carry with family so am skeptical about it especially now that the price has no direction. If can afford storing every month in a long run I may realizes half of bitcoin unit and that's a big achievement to buy but to you is funny because you have enough of it. So advise me on what to do! Should I hold on because of the instabilities in price? Or I should buy and store? Over to you
The price of Bitcoin is quite expensive now but if you think this could give you a better life in the future, still you need to find a way and continue investing in it. But of course, you still need to consider your finances if you were still able to provide for the needs of your family.
You have to put in mind that investing in Bitcoin is a good opportunity. I understand the situation that the price of Bitcoin will sometimes dump and pump, but if you look at its history, you can find out that it was growing rather than decreasing which means that if you are still buying now, profit will come when you hold until it went bullish and sell them.
