2301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me to invest in NFTs. on: April 25, 2022, 07:47:54 AM
You don't know how to invest in NFTs, you want to invest to various of it and then naming one of it?

You don't really need help, you just want that to shill to us. I doubt it that you'll come back and explain where you've heard that NFT that you've just mentioned.

And likely that you owned it already and you're working for them.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 24, 2022, 10:33:03 PM
Im not sure I understand completely but if it involves the csgo economy then that is alot of value available to gamble.  Valve isnt that keen to have people using csgo items so Im confused if they mean directly or not.   CSGO already incorporates gambling if we are being realistic and some member countries of EU bans a section of CSGO and its marketplace for that reason.   Like I say its not  clear what they intend exactly, I bet on csgo esports games most days.   Maybe they intend for players to bet their own games but that also has been done previous with mixed success.  Article needs a screenshot for intended interface.
Since it's not yet official and finished.

Everything is possible but if it's going to be a bet for their own games, there's a need for integration with Valve on this one. But AFAIK, Valve is against on this.

And that's why they have to make another platform, a third party, an outside feature platform that will allow the betting for normal players, not pro leagues and players to make it happen.
2303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 24, 2022, 09:28:06 PM
I think that the newcomers will still have time to prove themselves. At least now there are simply no restrictions that can prevent them.
Those newcomers would have thought that they were always late.

But when you talk about the historical moves of bitcoin, they're just going to stare at it and do nothing. Comparing the past and the future move of it has its correlation.

The holders now didn't only experience good things with the market but also have gone through a lot of bears and panics.
Those overthinker .. those newcomer bbetter to stop the overthinking ...

and if they continue to do so , they better to put th emoney in and disappear for 5 or 10 years to check later whether are they late to get in crypto back in the time or not. they might found themselves in a huge disappointment due the money that they put in was too small and start to talk the 'IF ONLY' thing.
it's never late , the ecosystem are just built and today you are taking that part.
And only put the amount what they can afford to lose.

This is the market that has a higher risk yet very rewarding based on how you're going to look at it. 5 years is already long and you won't notice that it's gone past that time frame.

As you check your kept bitcoins, they're probably have gone a lot by that time. Just like how I felt that it's been quite a while since I have started.
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 23, 2022, 11:43:21 PM
The majority of the esports game is really for free. And if they're going to incentivize these games and make way for most players to earn from it, for sure their player count is going to skyrocket.

I don't think that the current mainstream games that have esports tournaments would step forward in having a feature where they incentivize their players. If this is somewhat "bet, play, win, and earn" scheme, they would need to register their game's feature to be licensed as it is considered to be an in-game betting. Regardless of being a free-to-play, I don't think it is necessary to add this feature as there are already betting platforms where you can still bet your in-game collection and items that connects to your account. The current gameplay is enough, integrating a gambling-like feature is I guess useless. Let the other gambling platforms do it for the games, and not the games adding a gambling on itself.
I agree.

There's no need to add the feature of betting but if that's part of the business model, they'll put it like a separate feature of that game kinda like a marketplace.

Since the majority of the gamers that would come in are just for the game and as well as the mechanism to earn. There will be a huge percentage that many won't go and bet for it since it's not the main reason why they play.

2306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is using 2fa safe in every way on: April 23, 2022, 09:48:07 PM
today I experienced an unexpected transaction from one of my wallets, all my assets were sold automatically, this is the first time I've experienced this, I didn't protect this wallet with a PIN and 2fa
Sorry to hear about that, that's why there's 2FA and any other authenticating service to give an additional layer of security for our assets.

can it be delayed after I use 2fa and PIN for all transactions?
Yes, the culprit will have a hard time withdrawing your funds if there's a 2FA required to access your funds. But what is this wallet that you have? Do you remember those websites where you've logged or file that you recently downloaded?
2307  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: April 22, 2022, 09:35:06 PM
I have already quit my job for crypto, in my country we have jobs that pay too less for your hard work every month, I am talking about salary earners, be expecting 50$ per month and mehn, crypto has given more than this in a week, its worth quitting your job if payment or salary is too low.
That's totally a low salary on a monthly basis.

If that's the job that you have to sacrifice and you're earning more with cryptocurrencies whichever is the method you've been doing then it's worth it trades for you.

Anyway, still there's a point that before you quit and go full time in crypto, make sure that you're quite stable on your newly found venture.
2308  Other / Archival / Re: Bears continue to dominate on: April 22, 2022, 05:33:40 PM
As usual, it's unknown what lies ahead within the next 3 months. I thought that this support of $40k could stand for at least half of the year.

But that's still possible, we're still 2 months from that half-year. Needless to say, just be ready for whatever happens. Whether it will go below $35k or $30k.

2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 22, 2022, 08:13:00 AM
I'm rather confused. Aren't most E-Sports titles free to play anyway?
Same. I thought DOTA is free and so is Counter Strike. I am confused too. Valorant is free as I checked their website. Why would they need to recreate if they could just enhance the quality of the game.
I think it's the entry fees in tournaments that should be given out for free occasionally to invite more players that have no capitals or managers to support them. Who knows if there is a gifted player in the slums who cannot afford anything and just renting a computer to play the game in his free time will become the new star of E-sports.
Before, CSGO isn't free to play. You have to purchase the actual game for you to play it and the same goes with PUBG. In Dota 2, it's actually free to play but before there was the craze with the keys.

It was where most of the players spent their money as they play the game.

The majority of the esports game is really for free. And if they're going to incentivize these games and make way for most players to earn from it, for sure their player count is going to skyrocket.
2310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Hodle and profit in a Pumps and Dumps market. on: April 22, 2022, 12:29:13 AM
That's really how it goes.

But when you've mentioned 'hodl'. It goes by a long term of holding and since you've just given an example, it's more than the profit that can be projected with that example.

Not just a 2x or 3x but more than that or with the time that you've set on how long you're going to hold. Also, that's the usual way of holding, you can always cut it off as long as you've made profit.

@PlayBetr, will there be exclusive prizes for bitcointalk forum members again?
Just as you are asking, there go the prizes for the bitcointalk members and they've just posted and updated it.

Good luck to everyone who's going to participate.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 21, 2022, 04:04:39 PM
DPC SEA, there are 4 teams remaining and they're all in a tiebreaker. A good clutch can be seen there until the next day, 23.

Boom and Fnatic are fighting for first place but they're secured for the major. They'll be fighting on the said date for the DPC points and the prize.

Whilst for the battle for 3rd and 4th, this is a hard deciding tiebreaker. It's going to be T1 and Polaris, I'm more a fan of T1 since I like the team but Polaris is an underrated team and can beat them.
2313  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which will be a right choice and why? on: April 21, 2022, 12:35:10 PM
I've used both of them, there are no special feelings or experiences from using both of them. Trust wallet is already owned by Binance IIRC.

Whenever I use them, they're only for small funds and that's a special place for me to keep a high amount of my funds IMO.

So I reckon mk4 about owning those hardware wallets, any of them will do if you're into the usage of multicurrency crypto wallets.
2314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Every 4 Year on: April 21, 2022, 09:41:33 AM
Assuming the underlying argument analysis between the bitcoin halving and the value per cycle 4 years is highly correlated then I would look to be heading towards $300k easily.  But this can suddenly change as the need becomes more important.  Bitcoin value is likely to cross the $300k corner any moment.  So 300k or more is a guess of mine.
Still, many changes can happen.

From the ATH of 2017 to the last ATH of last year and then possibly to the next ATH after the 2024 halving. $300k or any 6 digits might be really happening at that time.

It's sort of unexpected but it is what it is because that shall be the next pattern where bitcoin is going.
that's why i don't get the Idea of OP giving a 2026 year when there might be a dumping happening that year , 2024 is the halving and 2025 is the Bullying time then it will be passed on the 2026 so why need to expect on that record?
where did OP get that idea in listing the every 4 years on that when it was forwarded by 1 year after halving effect .
It's possible that there could be a dump.

But I'm expecting some positive change to happen in that year. Well, that price is good if you're a holder and you want to see that happen by that year or even earlier.

I'm not questioning it and it's okay because all of us have a different opinion when it comes to speculating the market. Many are good to read especially if it's favoring what you want to happen but we'll still accept the reality and any possibility of what may happen.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 21, 2022, 08:08:08 AM
Guys, how do you use your crypto profits? Well I started investing in crypto last year but still to earn that much profits. How about you all?
It's music to my ears if I'm the one saying those words that I've italicized.

Well, it all depends on your situation in life. If you're well off and you don't need to use that much profit then just reinvest it somewhere like having more bitcoin or ethereum or any of the top coins you think you're good holding for so long.

But if you're struggling and you really have to spend the profits you're making. The best choice is to just sustain your needs, there are a lot of folks that have been living through their crypto profits, especially those that are in the midst of the war. Crypto source is helping them to bring food to the table.

2316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 20, 2022, 10:31:57 PM
That's actually a good one.

It's really the virtual reality that we kids have been thinking about before. We can earn through playing and if they're able to incentivize that, I guess many gamers would come back to these games that have stopped playing now and went through the reality of finding jobs.

This should be a heavily invested industry if that's the plan they've got and how would they earn from it.

It's hard to read your story because it's saddening and I've felt your frustration. I'm very sorry for what has happened to you. It's really important to invest in a hardware wallet, whether it's Trezor, safepal, keepkey or a Ledger wallet to secure our crypto life savings.

I'm guessing this happened on a PC, sigh! Its always the PC, there are many ways to fall victim to hackers on a PC than on other devices out there, the PC is just too complicated when it comes to trying to stay safe and out of trouble, my advice is never to use a PC for crypto wallets at all .
Yes, it's happened there whether it's PC or laptop, they're just the same. These hackers have been creative in doing their robberies. So, everyone has to be careful and mind to take care of their funds through a hardware wallet or anything you know as long as it's safe in your opinion.
2319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 19, 2022, 11:19:40 PM
we also have HUGE game in the DPC WEU tomorrow, Tundra v Brame. If Tundra win they'll go to Major, but if Brame win do they go to a tiebreaker or what? 🤔
Brame won't gain anything if they win. Correct me with the calculations if I'm wrong but their points aren't enough. But they'll maintain their team into the division I if they win.

This is quite hard for Team Secret, they're going to watch if Tundra will replace them as the 4th placer and qualified team to the major. That's a hard feeling for Puppey and the gang.

Yeah Brame is already out of the Majors even if they win there match against Tundra but they can help Team Secret to force a tie breaker against Tundra for the 4th place. Team Secret performance is not good on this DPC tournament so I still preferred Tundra over Secret to go in Majors so that they can give a good fight to other team. Team Secret choke a lot on there recent matches and they are still adjusting on there current roster. Tundra is much better to Secret for that spot.
Looking at the stats record now, Tundra advances and Team Secret falls to 5 while Tundra is 3 which is tied with Team Liquid but they're already qualified for the major.

Last remaining match is with both teams that are already in for the major. GG and Team Liquid so whoever wins, they're fighting for the 2nd & 3rd place and as well as the DPC points.

Regardless of that, all of them are secured to Stockholm major.

I think I've heard of this coin before.

But it doesn't matter whether I've heard of it or not because I'll never invest on it. What's the matter and thing on this one? I'm avoiding this type of coin because I know that they won't do good to my portfolio.

If it's a pump and dump token, then everyone should just avoid it.
