2301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale Transactions Spike As $1,046,164,730 in BTC Leaves Crypto Exchange on: April 17, 2022, 06:53:32 PM
I don't think this is something new.

What can you expect with that? There will always be traders and holders that are transferring their assets from here and there.

So, I'd say that this is not new to most of us. I guess the alert that we've been following before has already been attached to the news whenever huge transactions, combined or not has been made.
2302  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Investors need to know about charts reading too on: April 17, 2022, 05:31:30 PM
I always thought that reading crypto charts should be for traders only but I was wrong all along, knowing more about candles and other stuffs about charts can tell you when to actually sell your coins for profits and also when to buy back, it will also safe you from buying at the top, i made this post here because many newbies always find their way to this thread first, after learning about crypto and wallets make sure you start looking into charts reading or even crypto trading, its for your own good.
Traders are investors too and the same with holders.

It's all about the thing you do and you must know what you're doing. So if it's about investing in the crypto market, whether you're new, experienced, holder or not.

You need to have an idea on what you're going to do and what to face. I agree to what you say that everyone needs to have an idea about looking at the charts. Don't worry, we're all forced to do that to monitor our investments.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 16, 2022, 11:53:56 PM
Anyone bet on Fnatic v BOOM? I have my bet on Fnatic winning the entire series and so far so good. So-so odds but BOOM's play in Game 1 is quite shaky. This game 2 I don't like Fnatic's pick relying heavily ln pick offs and single target kills against BOOM's AOE lineup. As expected, mid game is rough for Fnatic but if Armel and Raven can hold off and just farm, they can easily win against BOOM's squishy lineup.

Update: sick save by Jackyy on Tims in the rosh pit. Now that's Div 1 SEA for you!

Edit: idk why I typed T1 lol. Must have been really tired to do that Grin
Boom won and they're now going to Stockholm with Fnatic.  Grin

Not really a big match I think because Fnatic was already secured with the Stockholm Major and now both of them are now on the list. The crucial part is on T1 and Polaris.

Polaris has no longer any match left while T1 has still a match with Fnatic.

If Fnatic loses, nothing to lose.

If Fnatic wins, nothing to win.

If T1 wins, are they going to switch that 3rd slot on Stockholm major from Polaris through points, right?
2304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ronin hack blamed to North Korean hackers by American government on: April 15, 2022, 05:02:29 PM
I've seen this news recently and was surprised that they've determined the hacker was from North Korea. I am of the same opinion as you that even the sauces are telling us that the culprit is from NK, still, we should take it with a grain of salt.

Maybe they're right and we're wrong or vice versa.

Whether they also determine who the hackers are, do they have the capacity to return the hacked funds? I don't think that they can.
2305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Video Course of BlackJack for people who want to learn BlackJack on: April 15, 2022, 03:41:55 PM
Do you often watch videos like this to improve your skills in playing BlackJack or other card games?
I do it for anything that interests me, not just blackjack tutorials and videos but as well as other card games too.

Or do you feel so confident in your abilities that you don't need such video courses?
Nope.

I'm not confident with my capability if the game is blackjack. I'm not an expert there but if it's the other games and I know I'm good with it, I don't think there's a need for me to watch any video course.

But it's helpful to the people like me who are not good at it and want to explore for more.
2306  Other / Archival / Re: MetaMask makes friends with Bitcoin on: April 15, 2022, 01:23:30 PM
A welcoming development.

I guess metamask has already seen that they can maximize their users by having the support of having bitcoin as well. Still, no doubt with their niche and focus, they've been very well at it.

But with this new development and feature that they'll have. It's going to go through a lot of criticisms first but with the innovation that the whole crypto market goes on, everything have to adopt and upgrade.
2307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 14, 2022, 11:34:10 AM
But still, I think it will be an easy place for Nigma to get back to div 1.

This one I doubt heavily. They'd need to reevaluate and reflect on things that they did so wrong in Div 1. Imagine getting beat by teams whose playstyle you know so hard and whose players you always encounter in pubs, that means there is a problem with the way they play and the way they take on these types of games. Removing iLTW completely and placing Kuroky as a coach instead of a player is a start, but I guess that's one move they won't really do because iLTW is a 'friend' and Kuroky is the 'boss' they don't have the balls to speak up against, even if the latter's game and performance is what drags them on games that matter.
It should be a personal decision for kuro to move from a player to a coach. Just like what n0tail had understood that it's now the time for the new-gen and young blood to dominate through their team.

But I don't think that kuro will do that.

He has passion for the game just like the other professionals that we known for years and if he's into playing, he'll stay and keep playing until he realizes that there's a big change must happen to his team.
2308  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Have you been infected with Covid-19? on: April 14, 2022, 09:02:01 AM
I've been only tested once the entire two years and it was early this year and it was through an antigen testing kit, the result was negative.

But during the first few months after the lockdowns, I think I'm asymptomatic but my coughing during that time was very severe. It's coming to the point that my back was also aching when I cough and it's a really different back pain whenever I cough, first time experiencing that but I wasn't tested by that time so I don't know if I'm positive or not. Maybe others did have the same pain as mine because while browsing through the web, I've seen others feel and experienced the same thing

What I did is that I isolated myself in a room and didn't go out and quarantined for 2 weeks.
2309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I saved myself from cryptocurrency disappointment on: April 14, 2022, 07:41:59 AM
Most newbies are really bound into investing into a "platform" which promises them with good return because no one tells them to avoid those as it's a scam.
This happened because their belief is that cryptocurrency is a totally safe investment when everything that comes with great benefit will also come with great risk. However, some crypto influencers also have a part in newbies investing in pump and dump coin and this will never stop until the newbies understand that they need to understand how to make a safe investment in crypto.
I am saying this from experience cause i was once a victim of E-Dinar Coin and MMM Japan.
I don't think that it's the actual reason and belief they've got. It's about the quick money that they think circulates in the crypto market and they're thinking that crypto is all about that.

I agree with the influencers.

They're just paid people to advertise those projects and they don't filter and study the project that is hiring them to speak for them so that they can endorse them to their fans.
2310  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka defaults on its $51 billion external debt on: April 14, 2022, 06:12:41 AM
There's an explanatory video that I've watched that Sri Lanka was one of the victims of the debt trap made by China. If it's true that they've been relieved from that debt trap.

Then there go the other consequences that they have to face. This pandemic really has caused a lot of countries to fall down and can no longer sustain their economy on their own. This country should be one of the countries getting focused by those rich countries in giving aid and help not just through the pandemic but as well as the guidance of financial recovery.

On the side of their government, there's probably a need to have an amendment since you've said nepotism is popular there.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 13, 2022, 09:19:38 PM
Looking at the teams on the division 2, it's going to be a tough retrieval for them. They will be the most experienced on that division but those teams that are in there are also good teams. I'm not just familiar with two teams, IVY and Winter Bear.

Nigma still has a chance to get back to div 1 after all, as two teams will be taken from div 2 to div 1.

Never hears of those two teams as well, and their players are not entirely known in the EU scene. But as Wings gaming taught us in TI6, even the relatively unknown players can take on even the most experienced teams in Dota, given enough exposure and matches with them.
Yeah.

You made me remember that.

It's not about who's known and not but it's about who's going to be strong in their division. Well, who knows if those new teams and players are going to beat most of them.

But still, I think it will be an easy place for Nigma to get back to div 1.
2312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best telegram group for cryptocurrencies? on: April 13, 2022, 10:56:10 AM
Sorry to tell you that many of the people here are not enthusiasts with crypto telegram channels. It's because many of them have become scammers' dens.

So even if you suggest it to us and tell us that it's the best telegram group ever that you've found. No one is going to be interested in it or if there's any, they're few and most likely new to the crypto market.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 12, 2022, 02:50:02 PM
Impressed to see Gladiators are doing it on their rankings and at the top currently.

Two more games for most of the teams and I think Team Secret can still recover if the other teams(Brame & Entity) on their top will get a lose and they'll win with their remaining matches.

Whilst for Nigma, I don't think that they'll make it and they'll be going now to division 2.

Nigma is done for in this current run. They don't appear to be ready for what's coming and it shows on how they handle team fights, drafts, and basically every decision-making in the game. Miracle, Gh, and MC is being held back by poor performances of Kuroky and iLTW combined. Hopefully they pull through on div 2, but them losing to Brame in such a horrible manner is a testament that they can't really hold themselves against new teams that claimed the spot for EU's prime.
Yeah.

Even they win all the remaining games for the two series that they have. There's no way that they can cope up with all of the losses that they've made. Well, they've lost their first and second match against Liquid with Fata as standin for ILTW.

Mindset 2: Cryptocurrency itself is not a skill or Business. This might sound a little bit controversial but it is what it is.
Cryptocurrency is neither a skill nor a business. At the moment, cryptocurency as a whole is more of an investment. The skill and business part of crypto is in Crypto Trading.
Many have been considering it as a business. Anything that has a risk on it can be said of a business based on your perspective and as for the debate if being into crypto is a skill.

I agree that's on the side of trading but being into it teaches and forces you to be skilled whether you're a trader or not or by just being a holder and a passive investor.
2315  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War and Violence as an answer to economic terrorism on: April 12, 2022, 10:14:48 AM
At what point is ok or even necessary to declare war and enforce physical violence on a nation or group in self defense of the economic whole?
Declaring war and defense isn't only when there's a threat economically. But mostly, when there's a threat to the nation's security and that's what most country does.

Just as we can see with the Ukraine-Russia war.

It's about the security threat that Ukraine sees by the attacks made by Russia. And on the side of Russia, they saw those troups that are going near their border and they've find it as a threat as well.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Lit portal for jobs in cryptocurrency world on: April 12, 2022, 08:45:31 AM
Thanks!

I've seen that this is a great list for those job openings related to crypto and blockchain. They're listing all of the job openings that they're sourcing from different companies. This is actually a big help.

They have it all in different categories but I just can't see that there's a part time list and all of them are in full time. So for someone who's just looking for a part time job, you have to do it full time.

Impressed to see Gladiators are doing it on their rankings and at the top currently.
Gladiators have one of the easier schedules but they didn't look good on their last series against OG it'll be interesting to see if they can still hold their spot in the last two weeks of the tournament.

Also with the current standings, it's kind of crazy how there are so many potential tiebreakers from the top spot until the second relegation spot.
Yeah, 2 consecutive lose for them but still, that record didn't pull them down from the rankings. Three heroes were used to them again for those two games and they've never learned from that.

OG did well and made it look like easy for them for both games. Two more series for Gladiators and I think whether they lose both of the series, they are still in for the playoffs.
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deflationary tokens?? that is not good, they always generate a pyramid!! on: April 11, 2022, 01:23:43 PM
It's just a description.

One example of deflationary is bitcoin. It's not a token or a coin but it's one of the most known cryptos in terms of deflationary. And when it's about scams or Ponzi. There are many of them that can be found mostly in new projects.

Bitcoin is deflationary but it's not a scam nor a ponzi. It has been described by many doubters and skeptics as that before. Now, it's proven its worth and they're all wrong with that description they've believed for bitcoin.
Bitcoin is decentralized and running on its own without its creator which is the key factor why it became successful. On contrary to other project that has same deflationary feature yet controlled by a team member that has there own token holdings percentage on the total supply which vesting regularly that dump to the market. Satoshi is not dumping his holdings for a long time which is the reason for the reputation of Bitcoin.

But what if Satoshi came back and start to move his asset?
Then let it happen what has to happen.

I don't think that he's ever coming back. When bitcoin has reached $20k, he could come out easy and have sold those holdings that he got. Well, we can think of those holdings that he has as good as burned bitcoins.

Like those bitcoins that have been lost forever and no way to retrieve it which has its value being kept by those lost coins together with the other people that have no longer access to their bitcoins.
2319  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get noted on: April 11, 2022, 10:54:24 AM
If you're into PC, just get notified through those newsletters and free subscriptions of websites like coinmarketcap and coingecko. You'll get alerts from them.

And for the smart phone apps, you'll just have to install those apps like the exchanges. Usually they are popping those notifications when a coin has been up like 5% and more than that.
2320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and reliogion on: April 11, 2022, 09:29:11 AM
Allright it makes btc good ? If u can send donations with btc to church
As I've said, it depends to them.

So you ask where you're attending church services. And if you think that you would like to send them donations then just do it and don't feel regret by doing that.

As you give it to them as a donation then you'll probably feel satisfied with what you've done because that's probably what's on your mind.
