1361  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: January 10, 2023, 09:39:06 AM
i think  if you are doing a decent job and you are well settled there - then you must not quit your job. Infect you must have a side hussle and have a second earning by hook or by crook - this would cost you beauty sleep and less socialisation ..but it's worth it.
It's worth it if you've been working hard and you've got a decent job and salary with it. You don't have to quit asap with it if you're planning to establish a business.

You can excel in your employment and at the same time, have your plans executed by having a business. Things will not be easy but consistency is needed for doing both of it. You retain your job and position and you test and run your potential business.
Most people do make out mistakes which they do eventually quit up without making themselves some assurance that they would be sustainable on the recent transfer of career which we know that this isnt something
that you could see on a short time manner. This is why you dont really need to quit up if you are really that intending to have a business or side income which you would really be needing to assess whether
it would be worth on quitting your current job for you to focus into the new one or would wait up for the proper or right time on doing so.You wont really be that dumb not to notice
whether it would really be that worth or not.
When you've get enough and you see it stable already then it's on your means to quit if you want to. But if you don't want to lose the employment that you've got and if you're enjoying there with a decent pay, you can just hire someone to work for you with your business.

That's how most businessman do when they've already seen the process and have understood the ins and outs of their business. Although at the beginning, they must be the one to focus on it even if it's going to consume them a lot of time and money.
1362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie it is better you take custody of your coins on: January 09, 2023, 09:15:01 PM
Your advise should always be taken note by everyone, we keep on telling this so that everybody is aware that we should be the one holding our funds and not the exchanges.

But even how badly we keep on telling this tip and reminder to everybody, there are still a few people that ends up badly by not having the custody of their own coins and soon they'll share their bad experience about an exchange or an unknown wallet.

inreviseable
Just a minor correction, maybe you're typing too fast and haven't noticed it. It should be "irreversible".

Finally, the DPC between different regions kicks off today.  Cheesy
Yeah, after the SEA region, we've got now the WEU region. The first game will be played by OG and Tundra. What are such good teams to start the season.

Actually, Tundra has posted a few days ago about a hint about an announcement. But what's funny is that they're announcement is that no one gets kicked from the team.  Tongue
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the maximum number of loosing streak possible in dice with 20%/5x win? on: January 08, 2023, 11:15:41 PM
There's sort of experiment that OP is trying to do but he'll eventually find it out that there's really no such that limits the possible losing streak that he's going to get.

Usually questions like the OP's come from gamblers without much knowledge who are hoping to beat the casino using Martingale or one of its variants, and that he is planning to:

<...> get 5$ a day maybe.

indicates that this is the case.
He can get that but with a bigger capital if that's he's achieving to have, some may say that it's an easy amount to achieve because they always did and some will say that it's hard for them because of having not that much capital.

If so, OP should understand that these variants of strategies, he has to try it if he can afford to do so and test it out for which is the best strategy that will make him satisfy taking home $5 a day.
1366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Are Some Of The Most Efficient Ways To Invest My Bitcoin Earnings? on: January 08, 2023, 09:05:49 PM
Is it a waste of time to try to invest my earnings no matter how small into bitcoin at this stage or is it something that only pays off after a one time big cash investment?
It's not a waste to reinvest you earnings. But what you really seeking with after you profit from holding bitcoin? That's what you're looking for and maybe to some real business but since you've mentioned how small it is.

You better practice first how to save the profits that you're making or just hold it and sell all at once so that you can reinvest it to what you think is also another good investment.

As mentioning with these yield products, they're not enticing and your question seems to be wanting to look for an answer where you'll reinvest your profit in bitcoin into another altcoin and have it enrolled to a yield/APY product on exchanges and wallets.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the maximum number of loosing streak possible in dice with 20%/5x win? on: January 07, 2023, 10:24:36 PM
OP has been delighted with the answers already about the possibility that there's no maximum number and anything is of possibility in dice with that ratio and percentage.

There's sort of experiment that OP is trying to do but he'll eventually find it out that there's really no such that limits the possible losing streak that he's going to get.
1368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 07, 2023, 11:09:27 AM
Just investing alone, search the name of Warren Buffett and you'll see how old he is and yet he's one of the richest person in the world. Yeah, not about the trivia but the possibility that investing is for all the ages.

We've got Jet Cash who's known to be one of the young at heart in the forum and yet he's one of the bitcoin bulls here.

Do not listen to the negative people that tells you to stop investing and investing in bitcoin isn't for the old. Investing doesn't have any age requirement and it's for all and the same goes for owning bitcoin.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRC20 FAILED -TRANSACTION REVERT> on: January 07, 2023, 09:18:59 AM
I have never seen this error and never experienced this, tried to look for some solutions but I haven't found any.

What wallet are you using? Is it a desktop wallet or an app? Try to update the wallet you're using for that transaction because that might be the reason why that error exists and you need the most latest version of it.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 06, 2023, 04:26:39 PM
For sure it would really be having those different stories because there would be people whom do find out that it was effective and working but most of the time then it would be sure that it wouldnt be something that
you could rely on.Its really just indeed the real thing that if these things were effective on the first place then lot or all of bookies and platforms would really file up some bankruptcy since lots would really be
milking out these places and this do proves out that it cant just be possible. It is really just on someones choice whether they would be using it or not.
I actually have asked it some specific questions and it was honest, to be fair, and said that it was just programmed and answers that it produces couldn't be perfect and accurate at some times.

It was proven that the AI advice isn't accurate and most of it is just a random guess.  No way can an AI predict a future outcome of a sports event since it won't have any control over the possible happenings in that sport.
Yup.

I have asked some questions related to predictions and admitted that it can't give such answers.
1371  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: n1Bet.com steal me 5900 USDT deposit+winnings on: January 06, 2023, 12:24:01 PM
I opened account there, because I see on oddsportal.com they are Premium bookie. I think if they are Premium they are good.
If I understand it correctly, you've seen this n1bet banner on oddsportal and thought that they're affiliated and a legitimate casino which you ended up trusting them and made you deposit to this unknown casino.

Not just because you've seen it there and advertised or connected through them means that they're a genuine. You should have done your research before depositing that much but it's already too late.

We're sorry to this bad experience you've got there. That amount you've deposited plus the winnings that you should have is really a big amount.

About your one image that contains your email, it's better if you blur that because there might be someone who's an opportunist that might contact and try to scam you pretending that they'll help you and will claim part of n1bet support.
1372  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges intentionally leak information for brand building ? on: January 06, 2023, 10:34:18 AM
And as for Binance, I think that's what they have to prove that the ratio should be accurate on how much deposits are there and how much are withdrawable any time just as what happened recently.
Question is who will force them to prove this ?
Well, their users but do we have power for them to do that? I doubt it.

That's why if the government steps in and forces them to do this, like the FED or FBI or the government where they're doing their main operations. Then they should be forced to prove them that it's 1:1.

It will make them brave and proving that they're really for their customers and have enough reserve funds as what's deposited to them.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: January 05, 2023, 10:34:08 AM
I have seen people asked that AI with mathematical questions but with some logic for it to be answered and I'd say that it failed.

That's why if it's about sportsbetting and predictions, you can't wholly trust your decision into it. But if it's just for fun, you've got all what it takes for you to ask it but don't expect that it will be the result.
You would also notice out that those responses are purely just generic ones which its not that surprising and you are right that there are people who do trying out to test out these AI's for making out some bets
basing on what they do recommend but its true that it isnt something reliable for you to depend on.WHen it comes to logic things then it isnt something that would really be that recommended.
For the sake of testing out due to curiosity then you would be finding out for yourself and its impossible that you wont notice out about the responses been given.
Yeah, that's what I've seen, about logical things it may not that accurate at all. But I guess in other aspects and niches, this is going to be helpful to them.

Well, those that have tried to asked it and followed its betting predictions, there might be some bad and good stories about it but I'm not going to follow what it says if it's about my bet.
1374  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges intentionally leak information for brand building ? on: January 05, 2023, 08:25:45 AM
With the proof of reserve, that's what making everyone to think that their funds are safe into exchanges, mainly in Binance. But, with that idea also, everyone must be aware right now that if you deposit an exact btc or any altcoin on them, they're using it somewhere else for their personal gain.

Proof of reserve should be that if there are 100,000BTC deposited by clients, there should also be 100,000BTC kept in a safe storage. There's big trouble when clients deposited a total of 100,000BTC and the exchange simply says it has $1,683,140,000 worth of assets that back it.

There's even bigger trouble when 100,000BTC is supported, still by an equivalent worth of assets, only that it is in their own tokens. Alert bells should be ringing extremely loud. So, if 100,000BTC is supported by $1,683,140,000 in FTT or BNB or BUSD or KCS or HT or whatever exchange token, everybody should start worrying.
Yeah, the ratio should tally on how much deposits are there. But these exchanges don't follow that, they're reinvesting it somewhere else or mostly buying their own tokens for that demand.

And as for Binance, I think that's what they have to prove that the ratio should be accurate on how much deposits are there and how much are withdrawable any time just as what happened recently.
1375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the entire Crypto Market ever likely to be Scammed? on: January 05, 2023, 06:38:59 AM
1. How can be the entire crypto market be a scam if there's a use case mostly now for bitcoin and other considered altcoins. Huge institutions have invested coming from millions to billions of dollars and yet, you're thinking that it might be a scam.

Well, there goes the projects that really are scams but not the entirety of the crypto market.

2. I have 100% faith on this market and mainly for bitcoin.

3. Choose a crypto first where you're going to store your hard earned money but the best option is, bitcoin.

I don't know from for sure how AI bots work and how their algorithm are designed but ChatGBT isn't connected to the internet, so most of its contents and responses are from past years, it doesn't include recent events and if AI bots works in that manner
It's connected to internet thus, it can answer almost everything. But it's an AI, automated responses but not all what it says are accurately correct.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify next bitcoin or FANG on: January 04, 2023, 07:53:22 PM
You don't have to.

Bitcoin is still considered on its early stage and that's why most of the new projects that you may see right now, they're unlikely to become successful.

So, that means that if you're wanting to have bitcoin and looking it on other projects that are early stage. It's okay if that's what you feel about them. But just as bitcoin during its early days, many have thought that it won't be something big.

1378  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges intentionally leak information for brand building ? on: January 04, 2023, 11:41:34 AM
It's really simple. Exchanges just need to respect users' funds. If you have 1 BTC deposited on the platform, they must keep that 1 BTC there, instead of exchanging it into altcoins to run their schemes.
I am not sure but ignoring this aspect was the primary cause behind what happened to FTX.
With the proof of reserve, that's what making everyone to think that their funds are safe into exchanges, mainly in Binance. But, with that idea also, everyone must be aware right now that if you deposit an exact btc or any altcoin on them, they're using it somewhere else for their personal gain.

Just as the banks, that's what they do and that's why they've got earning offers that will make people earn and deposit on their platform. But having that lot of users and they're not really parking the exact crypto that's deposited on them. It's making most of us aware that they're not really a safe place to keep it.

Well, we've known that ever since though.

Dota 2 tournaments and actions are about to be back, on January 5, it's the start of week 1 for the China's DPC region 2023 tour and that's for division 1.

I'm not used to see other teams part of the division 1 there because there have been too many great teams that have been part of it, but it's good to see new teams and names got in.

While for the SEA, January 9 is the start of games for the same tournament but different region.

1380  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Auction - Bid on a prize where 98% of each bid is added to the prize. on: January 03, 2023, 10:34:57 AM
The website is totally plain and very simple at its finest. I think I've seen this concept before but I can't remember the exact name of that website that has introduced this game as well.

I suggest that you should show the current and existing block so that potential bidders or betters will have an idea on which it is exactly and everyone will start to rush just to get that exact block as per the rules.
