1341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 16, 2023, 09:19:16 PM
I've learned about taking a deep breath in any situation that I may get in and most specially, in situations like handling losses. Just like what you've said OP about taking enough water.

There's also the psychological and mental explanation why taking a deep breath in a tough situation like being in a losing streak really helps. I've learned that before and read it as an advise so I take it. And guess what? It's not just only helping me to handle losses but also to relax when the situation isn't that good outside gambling.
1342  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Influencers, affiliate links and scams on: January 16, 2023, 08:10:53 PM
I used to see that advertisement with Lark Davis but I'm just ignoring it.

Not with cryptocurrency, this kind of problem is happening everywhere. As everything happens online it have been made simple by the so called influencers. With time more number of scams out of cryptocurrencies create fear among the common people. This finally makes common people to term cryptocurrency completely a scam. We should not allow this to happen, and the same can be understood by the learning cryopreservation .
I agree, it happens everywhere and a few years ago I've seen content creators that are not really into crypto and it's not their niche and focus of their daily contents.

But, I was surprised to see that they've promoted some platform that's obviously runs a ponzi scheme after checking it and I messaged the pages of those that have promoted it but they seem to ignore it.

Well, that concludes that they're just there to advertise it and won't really care with their viewers being exposed to invest into potential scam platforms as long as they get paid with its advertisement.
1343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 16, 2023, 07:06:00 PM
Sell the BNB and you do half/half.

Half for stable coin and half for buying bitcoin now. The purpose of having half is like being prepared if ever the price of bitcoin goes down again so you've got an immediate money to buy.

But if not, then at least you're able to buy at its current price regardless of what will be the price in the future. Whether we like it or not, investing in bitcoin is like the safe haven of the market when most projects are we're uncertain about.
The growth with bitcoin have got good percentage against BNB, but the year is predicted to have a bull run for altcoins. I'm not sure of the reality. If that is to happen, then it is good to have BNB. Among the list of altcoins, BNB is one of the potential altcoins that is predicted to grow good and reach new ath. However market manipulation too is found with BNB for which bitcoin can be considered as the safe haven in all situation.
It is a matter of assurance that whenever there's the bull run for altcoins, that's because there's bull run for bitcoin. That'll happen and it has been seen before so it's a cycle that we know of.

But the thing is, we don't know when it will come.

It's said that BNB is good but just like any issue has come for Binance then for sure it is finished. These altcoins that have been in a good situation could be in a worse state if something goes wrong.
1344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction touched forum users in a very sad way... on: January 15, 2023, 11:06:34 PM
even people in the real world are not to be trusted, you can test your friends, do a simple test, drop a lot of money in front of your friends and pretend you didn't see the money falling, then leave the place for a few minutes that you you will see that your friends will take the money, then return to where they are and that you dropped the money stay with them for hours, you will notice that none of them will tell you that you dropped money, that's because money runs people in the world today people no longer value love, honesty, all that matters to people is having a lot of money and humiliating the poor
I agree, based on my personal experience a relative of mine who's not even a gambler asked money to me years ago and have forgotten to pay me. Well, but being an addicted gambler is way too much.

When someone who does have the money of others and sees that it will make them satisfy to gamble with others fund, unusual things can really be done during their desperation moments.

It's disappointing that someone who has built his trust and reputation then will steal his customers money that has really trusted his product.
1345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there restriction in purchase of bitcoin? on: January 15, 2023, 09:36:20 PM
Many are holding and doesn't have plans of selling it but it's not going to cover the whole supply that we've got in bitcoin's economy.

So literally, this is what actually increase or decrease the price of bitcoin.
Yes, it all applies the law of supply and demand. Thus, we're seeing the price of bitcoin now up and that's because there's a buying demand.

The demand of purchase of it in the market with the availability of holders wanting to sell?
There's always people that want to sell it at any price and not just us individuals but also exchanges.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 15, 2023, 08:27:41 PM
Hi, I'm new to here. So just want to ask your help or guide.

I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.

1347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Times when I visit casinos Versus When I don't on: January 14, 2023, 09:30:38 AM
When I'm at the right mood and we've I've got spare time and money. That's all when the best time for me to visit a casino but mostly for a physical one.

Well, since many are into online gambling today so, it's easy to gain access and can do it at anytime as I wish to gamble and there's no need for some condition as long as I've got the funds ready to gamble.
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone send 4 BTC to Satoshi (Genesis block) on: January 14, 2023, 05:53:57 AM
Two things that all of us can guess with it and like everybody is telling:

1. Just being grateful and that guy must be filthy rich with all of his accumulated and bought bitcoin when it was really cheap at all several years ago or bought like a decade ago.

2. A mistake that was never intended to send all of that 4 btc and things just happened so quickly like "send all balance" made by the owner.

It also took my attention about the fee that it's just 400 sats = $0.08.   Cool
1349  Economy / Economics / Re: These Are the Top 10 Most Profitable Side Hustles in 2023 on: January 14, 2023, 04:20:21 AM
I was playing around with chatgpt last night and asked the same keyword although not a side hustle entirely but it could also be done like that. The idea was IoT, AI and machine learning.

So, like where are we right now, we're starting to see the trend for AI. And the valuation for its market is getting bigger after Microsoft has given its bid for openai/chatgpt.

Someone can still have a side hustle with this whether on the developer side or just want to work part time on it since the competition of its market may not that be saturated yet.
1350  Economy / Gambling / Re: Punt.com | Win $100,000! | #1 Crypto Casino | Instant Withdrawals! ✅ | 24/7 Rain on: January 13, 2023, 05:34:43 PM
RainBot randomly selects a user that has been active chatting since the Bot has gone off. You can win multiple times in a row, it is totally random! Smiley
I guess that answers the worry of the others here, I've just followed the conversation and it's a legitimate concern for you Punt.com because of those spammers and cheaters that are flocking the chatbox and aims for the selection of the rains.

But if you say so that it's random and you've got confidence with that, so that validates the idea that you're aware of that concern and it's a total random selection for those active people chatting in the box.

Hey @sunsilk - Thanks for the suggestion & I'll forward it to the feedback team + would be happy to know if are you playing games. if not - We're happy to onboard you as our esteem costumer.
You're welcome and thanks for the response.

I haven't played any single game on your platform but will let you know if I do. With the suggestion that I've said, looking at it visually might give some idea on how much those winners are taking.

Just like the other casinos, they may choose to hide their names or not if they'll ever be at the scoreboard.
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Miss El Salvador cause the Bitcoin price to spike last night? on: January 13, 2023, 02:21:32 PM
There is nothing to do with Miss Universe, with her and with her outfit. It was just a complete coincidence that the market has pumped during his ramp with that gown having bitcoin as logo.

But many for sure have appreciated the effort of what Miss El Salvador and her team has did with the outfit. For sure that Bukele has suggested that to the panel and for the team that handles her.

Well, with the surge, it was just all about the normal cycle and nothing other than that.
1353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: January 12, 2023, 05:52:06 PM
That loss of PSG.LGD might not be valid as the Team Knights are allegedly cheating with a map vision hack.
I also saw this thread earlier today and now I feel salty about my loss on PSG.LGD. The organizer had some evidence to back their accusation so I think it's only a matter of time until Knights receive their punishment.

The games scheduled today aren't worth betting on due to how one-sided the odds are but we'll see a few notable teams like EG and BetBoom play their first series.
They'll for sure going to be punished.

I'm waiting for an official announcement from the organizers that Knights to be disqualified and I guess those that have lost with their bets against this team might get a refund.

And that's going to depend now on the sportsbook where you've placed the bet. But I guess, that's it, no refund is most likely going to be given if there's a policy related to such matches that have been disqualified.
1354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signs of a better year for btc investors on: January 12, 2023, 10:09:19 AM
Not really that bad on making yourself that optimistic but you should always consider and be mindful about the risk involved so that you wont really be ending up frustrated just because you do expect something positive

with Bitcoin and you had sold all of the things you  do have that you arent using or not really that important.Going all in is never been a good choice nor a decision.Always set out limits and boundaries no matter how good Bitcoin investment is, nothing is assured and nothing is guaranteed. This is why you should expect always the unexpected.

This year or next year, no one really knows on when the price would be moving up.
We don't know what's in it for this year and after the halving but at least we've got the idea on how it did in the past with the same scenarios. Yeah, those that have been frustrated in the past have learned the lesson on how they should things seriously and lightly.

Like today, we've been into a new year and we still don't know what it will look like for bitcoin. But the good thing, we've passed on the bear market and we're on a new one.

And that means another hope and better expectations for bitcoin this year.

It's what they say. It's during bear market and crisis that winners and millionaires are made. The patient guys who keep thier coins are the ones who'll get success.
Yeah, those that didn't make it on 2017 and 2021, they're the ones who has the chance to be the next profitable folks on the next bull run. When? Could be by 2024 or 2025, nobody knows but we get the idea of the cycles.

I would not in general say that it is very wise to sell your belongings to buy bitcoin. Especially in a bear market that is for month slowly going down. You can simply never know when the market is turning around and it brings you a profit.

What you hover could do is put your spare money that you have in the market ever month and then when price goes up you can get the money out again at a profit.
If there's no use anymore for those belongings and it's like just a stock thing in your house and barely used, I think that's what it should be so that at least you get something better out of it.

And with the sales of it, that means spare money for him or anyone and then that money will be used for buying bitcoin.

Welcome.

Surprising that you've got 4k+ players online while you've just launched last year and you're about to get into your first anniversary soon. And with the total paid prize based on the display is already $10M+ and that's already a lot of wins from your platform.

From a guest's perspective, I think if you will add some display like the most recent or past winners it will be an interesting source of information to consider.
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signs of a better year for btc investors on: January 11, 2023, 05:22:40 PM
On this market, the most patient and the wisest becomes the most profitable and as for you OP. If you've got plan of buying bitcoin and you're seeing those things that you're no longer using. You've got the plan to sell them, do it and don't regret of selling them and using the money for buying bitcoin.

It's because many beginners before have regreted that they've bought bitcoin. But if you have the idea on where the market is going and you're also a patient guy, wait until the halving ends next year and you'll see how the market will change mostly positively by that time.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: January 11, 2023, 04:00:05 PM
That PSG.LGD loss was unexpected and Knights drafted really well throughout the series, taking advantage of the first pick Lina in the first map, and then in the second map they went with a lineup that had a lot of control.
That loss of PSG.LGD might not be valid as the Team Knights are allegedly cheating with a map vision hack.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/1093ku7/knights_accused_of_cheating_in_cn_dpc_div_1/

A division 1 team that has resorted in cheating deserves to be banned for life by all Dota 2 organizers and mainly by Valve. Why these players don't think for the betterment of their careers?

Dude, these are DPC games and not just pub games.
1358  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: January 11, 2023, 02:40:47 PM
i think  if you are doing a decent job and you are well settled there - then you must not quit your job. Infect you must have a side hussle and have a second earning by hook or by crook - this would cost you beauty sleep and less socialisation ..but it's worth it.
It's worth it if you've been working hard and you've got a decent job and salary with it. You don't have to quit asap with it if you're planning to establish a business.

You can excel in your employment and at the same time, have your plans executed by having a business. Things will not be easy but consistency is needed for doing both of it. You retain your job and position and you test and run your potential business.
Yes, however, the most important thing is your dedication to doing the work and planning to build a business,
if you still feel passionate about doing your job it's better to continue especially with a decent salary,
to build a business, of course, you need to start slowly and in the right stages.
Having a decent salary and job security are two things that won't make you quit even if you're trying to establish a business. As you start, you're unsure with the result of your plan and business and that's why you need to support it financially through your salary.

And that means that you don't need to quit yet because you're just beginning it. But if you're a risk taker and you think that you've got enough money and savings if the business fails then you can start all over again.
1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stay humble and go your own way (invest in yourself) - the best strategy of 2022 on: January 11, 2023, 12:16:10 PM
In 2022 if you:
- kept all your bitcoin in self-custody,
- checked your backups,
- avoided noise like SBF/FTX drama, politics and put your attention and time elsewhere,
- withdrew bitcoin from exchanges,
- avoided "yield", "lending" and other scams of 2022,
- increased your bitcoin holdings,
- worked on your health, relationships, living conditions, knowledge, skills,
- gained new experience (inside or outside Bitcoin),
then you are probably better off and beat most other (individual) strategies. Congratulations!
With those that you've mentioned then I can say that I did better last 2022 and hopefully that by this year of 2023, I can do more and so much better.

Any other views? What else could have been done or avoided? Isn't avoidance of pitfalls as much impactful as chasing "yield"?
Well, I've avoided toxicity of people on social media platforms and I guess that's an achievement when I was able to block and unfollow a lot of them because of different shits in life that they've nonstop discussing.

And what's good to me is that I never chased the profitability of those yields or lending platforms, I kept mostly in bitcoin as I've seen the risk in those.

Finally, the DPC between different regions kicks off today.  Cheesy
Yeah, after the SEA region, we've got now the WEU region. The first game will be played by OG and Tundra. What are such good teams to start the season.

Actually, Tundra has posted a few days ago about a hint about an announcement. But what's funny is that they're announcement is that no one gets kicked from the team.  Tongue

OG and Tundra match will be awesome to watch. OG does not have ATF anymore. He is replaced by DM but the other players of the roster are still intact. I am expecting the defending Champion to win since they have no roster change but currently, OG is on the lead early in the game. Let's see if they will bounce back mid or late game.
ATF have changed his role and his now with Nigma Galaxy, his debut match together with the team is against Tundra by tomorrow. When I've seen ATF played on the pub, he's easy to get triggered.

As for the match of Tundra and OG last night, OG didn't even managed to win on the series.

Tundra took two games and won the series.
