2321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Still Supporting And Playing On Newly Launch Casinos on: May 07, 2022, 03:17:20 PM
For sure you will not caught up with new if we don't like what we are seeing to them so obviously for new casino they should do good things to acquire more people.
The problem with this is that it's really hard if not impossible to come up with a new game ideas or new features that weld established and long standing casinos haven't already thought of and implemented in their platforms. this is why we see threads started by casino owners asking their users for new features they want to have or any other kind of suggestions to improve their platforms.
Because of this, most new casinos focus on promotions and offer high rewards for new comers to stand out among their competitors and to incentivize players to try them in hope they become loyal players.
2322  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: sending with electrum on: May 06, 2022, 11:57:32 PM
Khaled0111,

Correct I sent it to a bitcoin cash address. When I attempted the second time there was an address converter due to a change in the addresses and I used the wrong address to receive the coin. all of the transactions have been within my Trezor device. I was sending a coin to myself and I once was able to exchange a bitcoin for a bitcoin cash, both of equal values. Support at Trezor said to import my public keys to get my coin back.I didn't have to do anything with the private keys.
Thanks for the clarification.
So, you used Trezor built-in exchange to exchange bitcoin cash for bitcoin, but instead of providing your Bitcoin address you mistakenly provided the bch address (Trezor considered it a valid bitcoin address since it starts with "3").

As I said above (and someone correct me if am wrong pls) , the easiest way, although not recommended, to recover your coins is by exporting the private key for that specific bch address from Trezor and import it into Electrum. Since the address starts with "3", you need to append "p2wpkh-p2sh:" to the private key.

May I ask why did you choose to play at this so-called casino in first place and how did you know about its existance?
As you can see, no one of all the members who replied to your thread had ever heard of it before!
I invite you to create a scam accusation thread on the appropriate board, of course this won't help you recover your stolen money but at least it will serve as a warning for other members so they don't fall victims for this scam website.
Sorry for your losses!
2324  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [banned mixer] - how long until the recpient wallet accept the transfer? on: May 06, 2022, 10:09:18 PM
Their official representative here was last active few minutes ago [banned mixer]. Send him a PM or post in their Ann thread mk4 linked to above. They usually respond and fix such issues in no time.
They've faced some technical issues but according to their last update this is supposed to be fixed! Anyway, if you have downloaded and saved the letter of guarantee you should be fine.
2325  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wizary.com |🚀NEW CRYPTO CASINO🚀| on: May 06, 2022, 09:11:16 PM
So far I'm assuming that seeing successful withdrawals only sees 1 or 2 users. The rest may not get any winnings from the welcome bonus.
Yes, two members've confirmed they successfully withdrew their winnings. I got the bonus myself and made a good profit but unfortunately although I completed the wagering requirement and still had enough to make a withdrawal request, I didn't! I kept playing till I lost it all.
Just one thing I didn't really like from the experience of those two members is having to wait few hours for their withdrawal to get processed while the casino claims that withdrawals are instant.

I think they are listening to us, on checking the signup link nothing is showing up they may be fixing it that is why they disable it but I need to verify it to other members if they are also showing the same
You're correct, I just checked it and didn't see the phone number field on the registration page.
2326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i transfer from private wallet to CEX privately? on: May 06, 2022, 07:51:11 PM
2. Sell crypto for vouchers from wallet A and then sell vouchers again for crypto in wallet B (This should make it hard to link my wallet A to wallet b right?)
No, not really and this depends mainly on the platform you are going to use to buy/sell the voucher. Even if you use two different platforms they may cooperate and exchange information to track your transactions and link your wallets.
Better use a reputable mixer first (if you choose to use the mixer mocacinno suggested then make sure to use the .onion website) then exchange the mixed coins for a privacy coin like montero on a decentralized exchange. You can then send the privacy coins to the CEX and exchange them to whatever coins you want.
2327  Economy / Gambling / Re: crash game some new ideas on: May 06, 2022, 06:01:53 PM
I am not sure I correctly understood your idea but isn't the fee you are going to charge on winnings exactly what the house edge means!

Let's suppose just for the sake of argument that there will be a lonely player and he will play two 10 minutes rounds and the game odds are 50/50 (this is what the numbers will tend towards anyway with more players and more rounds).
Let's also suppose he will bet a total of $100 on each round. Since the odds of winning are 50/50 then it's safe to assume he will lose it all on one round (-$100) and double it on the other round on which you will charge him a 5% fee (+$95).
By the end, the player ended up with - 5$ loss and the casino with +$5 profit on a total bet of $200. So, on the long run the casino profit is 2.5% from all rounds.

This is what your house edge is: fee/2
2328  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLucy.com 🎰 100% Deposit Match ⚽🏏🥊🏀 7 EURO Free bet 777 users! 🔥 on: May 05, 2022, 10:42:11 PM
..
Hey Royse, I just want to notify you that although you hid the User Email on the first screenshot you posted, it's still visible on the search field. Also there is this "filtered from x,xx total entries" not sure if this is the total number of registered users or not but you may want to hide this information as well.

I read the accusations made by several users and I believe all this could have been avoided if the casino rules were strictly enforced.
2329  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cash out issue with FortuneJack Casino on: May 05, 2022, 07:23:55 PM
I took all the screenshots already. Is there a way to post them in this thread or maybe better to wait for the issue to be fixed in a hopefully nice manner?
You can upload the screenshots to an image hosting website such as imgur.com then post the links here.
But I don't think there is any need for this since you are not accusing them of any thing yet and hence you don't have to prove anything. You will need to do this if you decide to create a scam accusation thread.

Since they didn't give you the transaction id then most likely they didn't process your withdrawal request yet because of a problem at their end (wallet down for maintenance)!
2330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 05, 2022, 03:56:35 PM
Why not try stopping bet and I think every body will success stop with betting and I have try it, the same like you like betting with small fund from $3 until $20 each sport betting games. But after active on ever weekend football match I stop with betting and keep use my money for trading.
It's easier said than done! and some many gamblers can't control themselves and stop playing when they should especially when they start losing more and more hoping they will recover their losses. Some gamblers simply have gambling problems and this is why we hear these stories all the time.
The lesson here other than "never gamble what you can't afford to lose" is that even if you bet on small odds like what OP did, there is a high possibility you will lose all your money especially if you keep playing for a long time.
I believe OP lost nothing but his $3.00 and only wasted some of his time. Plus he merely lost the "people's money" back to the people. We couldn't say if the money "lost" was truly "hard earned" or not, but technically you gambled for it, it's still in your account, and you still use it to gamble again, so that money you held was fair game.
I don't think we can say he lost only $3. He spent the money he borrowed then he lost the hard earned money he saved to repay the loan. In addition, now he has to pay higher interest for not repaying the loan in time.
2331  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SKAECOIN.COM p2p Marketplace is a SCAM!!! PHOTO EVIDENCE on: May 05, 2022, 02:26:10 PM
Thank you for warning us MGTOX about this scam exchange, but may I ask why did you remove your other topic. You could have kept it and posted updates there regularly, or was it removed by a mod!

Also, I want to ask you about this: in the other topic you said that the second attempt to withdraw was canceled because you didn't make any trade on the platform but you didn't mention this in this topic:
this time with the absurd explanation that I could not transfer out if I didn't do a trade before,
I hope you didn't remove this part intentionally! Because we know that any online service will lock your account and ask you to verify your identity if you make a deposit and try to withdraw without using their services. This is always considered as a suspicious activity.

Anyway, this is not an excuse and doesn't mean they are legit since they are still holding your funds although you verified your account and sent them the documents they requested.
2332  Economy / Reputation / Re: hZti changed hands or not? on: May 05, 2022, 11:14:41 AM
I was just in the middle of checking those when I saw your post and from what I can see, none of them were used in the last 7-8 years so somehow I doubt that he will be able to sign any of those even if that account never changed hands.
I also took a look at those addresses and none of them has any balance (except the last one which still has few sats in it) and the most recent transaction was made in late 2014 (7 years and a half ago), so there is a high chance he doesn't have access to any of them anymore.
We should take this in consideration and don't conclude the account changed hands just because he can't sign a message with one of them.

He said he proved ownership of the account to admins! So, all he has to do is to post here the evidence he sent to them or ask one of them to confirm this if the evidence contain personal information.
2333  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: sending with electrum on: May 04, 2022, 11:44:40 PM
Just to be clear, you mistakenly sent bitcoin (btc) to a bitcoin cash (bch) address? If this is what happened then to recover your coins you need to export the bch address private key, import it into a bitcoin wallet such as Electrum then your coins (btc) should show up. Then you can send those coins to any bitcoin address you want.

note: if the bch address belongs to your Trezor wallet then exporting its private key means your wallet is not as safe as it used to be and you should create a new one.

When setting up the wallet I was unsure of encryption or not, I opted to do so, would this cause any issues with sending from my public key addresses?
No, this is not supposed to cause any issues as long as you remember the password you used to encrypt the wallet file.

I also am wondering about the usage of 'mBTC', I would think that it would be the 1/1000 of a bitcoin or milliBTC.
Yes, 1 mBTC = 0.001 BTC
You can change the denomination (Btc, mBTC, bits, sat) from the wallet's settings.
2334  Economy / Gambling / Re: Provably fair RTP ? on: May 04, 2022, 11:10:42 PM
Please someone more experienced with cryptography and maths correct me if am wrong but I think if a slot game uses a provably fair algorithm and the game provider publish this algorithm then anyone can not only verify each bet result but also calculate the rtp of that game.
According to my experience, verifying pf slot games results is usually more complicated than for other games such as dice, crash or roulette.

I would also love to see this, most game providers say just "high volatility or medium volatility" slot and based on this the RTP sure is a fixed one for example at 96.75% but that happens only during a certain period of time and we cannot check in real time the RTP
AFAIK, there is a difference between the game volatility and its rtp. Two games may have the same rtp but one with high volatility and the other with low or medium volatility.
2335  Economy / Gambling / Re: Wizary.com |🚀NEW CRYPTO CASINO🚀| 💵10 FREE COINS FOR NEW MEMBER💵 on: May 04, 2022, 09:57:22 PM
Yes Wizary has an own coin, that means you pay as an example 25$ in BTC & you get 25 coins from us, if you want to pay out later you can pay out these 25 coins in USDT or in other currencies.
May I ask where do you get the exchange rates from? And since you will convert any deposited amount to USD, why don't you just use USD instead of your own coin to avoid any kind of confusion.
BTW, I noticed a typo in the warning that appears in the withdrawal page, it says: "Choose your Currency but If your payment amount is less then the minimum amount your money will be lost." I think it should be than not then. Not a big deal though!
2336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How do I protect my money? on: May 04, 2022, 07:22:03 PM
Welcome back!
You are right, a lot has changed during the last few years but the good practices to secure your wallets are almost the same.
Store most of your coins on cold storage, make backups of your wallets and store them somewhere safe, never share your wallets seeds or private keys with any one or expose them online, use only secure and safe devices...
Electrym is good  but I would recommend using hardware wallets for large amounts of money.
You can also use Electrum as cold storage, check this guide:
Cold Storage

Welcome to bitcointalk Wizary.com

No we are strictly against KYC, thanks for your feedback I will send the "problem" with the mobile number to the relevant department.
Forcing users to verify their mobile numbers is a bit contradictive with the above statement therefore I urge you to remove this feature or at least make it optional so any user can choose whether to verify his phone number or not. You can give a small reward for those who will do so if you want.
Also can you clarify the requirement for the free credits: do we have to wager 5x the free 10$ ($50 in total) or wager 5x the $25 we have to deposit ($100 in total).
If it's the former, is there any wagering requirement for deposits before we can withdraw? Meaning if I wager 5x the free credits and make a $25 deposit, can I immediately withdraw all my balance?
2338  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online casino. What's the reliability of the technology? on: May 03, 2022, 10:53:19 PM
If the technology is based on provably fair which used by most crypto gambling sites then yes it is reliable but if its based on unknown systems then there there can be bugs on them. Players can gain less trust on playing on that kind of casinos.
Just because a slot game or any other casino game uses a provably fair algorithm doesn't necessarily mean it is bug free. The main purpose from the provably fair feature is to provide more transparency and to allow the player to verify the outcome of each round. That's practically what it's all about.
And, tbh, I didn't encounter many slot games that are provably fair except few BGaming games.

a newbie begins to gamble and then they suffer some losses in a row they were no expecting and instead of accepting this as simply the RNG throwing some bad numbers at them at the time they get emotional and make a big bet to recover the money they have lost.
Long losing streaks happen all the time and using a provably fair algorithm can protect the casino too in case a player start complaining as it can prove with no doubt that the results were randomly generated.

2340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Texts/"passwords" as private keys source and transactions on: April 30, 2022, 11:39:37 PM
Those are brainwallet and they were very common in bitcoin's early days. No one uses them anymore since they are unsafe and it doesn't matter how many time you hash the password.
Someone already found more than 18k used addresses. You can check his topic here for more details:
Collection of 18.509 found and used Brainwallets

There are many bots monitoring these addresses 24/24 to steal any coins they receive. This why you probably will never find any brain wallet with a balance.
