Answer poloniex about frozen wallet:

"Unfortunately the XCN network is very weak at the moment and we are currently trying to find a working full node to synchronise our wallet and transactions. Should you know a reliable full XCN node we would appreciate knowing the IP and port. The devs seem to have given up on this coin and there is no longer a working block explorer, either, so we are pretty much in limbo regarding our options at this time"

They are funny.
I gave them all the info a month ago.
I think they want to buy cheap xcn to sell later, after a pump they plan to trigger.

why you open a new thread ? any bad news on the old thread?

The original post can't be updated because the owner is unavailable.

changing the block reward scheme is easy.
the hard part is programming the fork, updating the exchanges, notifying everybody and stuff.

Hmm I take it the required cryptonited is the only available linux one of the cryptonite.info homepage?
Might give it a shot, too.

cryptonited is just the wallet in server mode, I think you can run the usual wallet, with rpc calls enabled, for the explorer to function.

JoinCoin (whirlpool) seems broken  Sad
The pool is finding blocks, but gets no reward. Wrong chain?

Block reward is over for joincoin.

hi there pallas, glad you still here,

do you have or got a link to a working block explorer for this coin, this does not help me a lot,
if there is not a explorer

Someone please host this:

2329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 17, 2016, 10:46:24 AM

./nheqminer_cuda_sa NICEHASH -t 0 -cd 0 1 2 -cv 1

Yep.. options are incorrect.

Try these one

./nheqminer_cuda_sa -t 0 -cv 0 -cd 0 1 2 3 4 5 -cs -l SERVER:PORT -u USERNAME

-cs -cv 0

did the trick, thanks! :-)

NEW COMMIT

Solo mining fix: the bits field is a decimal number representing the diff, so it fails on its own json check.
Since it's not used in getwork, we can ignore it; getblocktemplate + longpoll doesn't work anyways.

what is the hashrate for a 1070 of the last release?

I don't remember, probably 16-18 Mh/s
2331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 17, 2016, 10:20:25 AM
Updated cuda port with latest changes.

Code:
https://github.com/krnlx/nheqminer

~110+ on mem overclocked 1070

still nothing for me:

[09:32:01][0x00007f7d4cc96740] Speed [300 sec]: 0 I/s, 0 Sols/s

it just doesn't run anything on the cards.

cuda_tromp is working fine (on the original code).
silentarmy also works fine.

Can you post full log with start command options ?

Anyway, did you try https://github.com/tpruvot/nheqminer version ? You can replace kerne.cu and param.h from my repo, it is fully compatible

shame the value of the coin is dropping like a sack of crap atm could ppl stop undermining each other and just settle on a price pls Tongue lol spose it doesnt help the only 2 exchanges accpeting xcn atm are plagued with trader bots ... especially bter like fark me whole exchange is a bot i think..... and the price.... 2 months ago 220ish sat now 140-150 sat , big diff >< right now its not profitable for me but i got a synced wallet on a plus note... finally xD . Beats me how to solo mine tho , that one im still figuring out . ty pallas i did notice that issue few days back where no new blocks were being generated for a while , my wallet sync fucked out too during that time and i even had some coins sent to btc38 that never confirmed , not much but yeah its a worry sometimes , i only use a couple 750ti atm..... i am not bending this coin over i supply a measly 10mh to the network . I still really like m7 algo and wish it went a bit further this coin still has huge untapped potential and i often unhappily think damn hope this is not the end of xcn . One question i had , will the old djm cuda miner work with a 1050ti? or will i have to get the newer linux miner for pascal architecture? ty guys .

Solo mine: the miner initially does a getblocktemplate then falls back to getwork. The first call fails because the "bits" field is a decimal number instead of hexadecimal (it is the difficulty...). That field is not used in getwork mode, so you can safely remove the offending code. Getblocktemplate (longpoll) mode doesn't work anyways. I will post a quick solo mining fix on my fork later.

About your coins sent to BTC38: if you sent them on a dead fork, you should get them back as soon as the client reorganizes its chain. If they were sent on the main fork, open a ticket on BTC38 quoting the txid and they will credit your coins (happened to me a couple times but their support is good).

Down again, same time in the night as the last time it blocked.

Now the pool is finding blocks again, but I have old unconfirmed balance.

Some orphans again..

It's unbelievable how time consuming this half dead coins is.. It's a pool ops nightmare

Hehe I see by solo mining what you mean.
Btw, how's the bits json field of getwork a float? Is it the difficulty instead?

guys im still trying to find the rpc port for the .conf Huh
You want to solo mine?
Just put anything you want. Like...
Code:
server=1
daemon=1
listen=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcallow=127.0.0.1
rpcport=25251
port=25252
Be sure to 25251 port is open in firewall, and it don't use it some other wallet you have open simultaneously.

you mean 25252 don't you?
No, I mean 25251. I think i got it wrong though... The port don't have to be open in firewall, because it used for the local communication between the external local miner and the wallet.
25252 must be open in the firewall, right?

that's what I was saying ;-)

Even in europe there are companies claiming to sell electricity for 0.06 / KWh.
Truth is if you divide the total bill cost by the number of KWh, you get much more than that.
I hope everybody did this calculation at least one time before mining hard.
