PS ....theres somthing wrong with suprnova pool atm , funds are staying as unconfirmed and havent ticked over for a few hours , ive emailed ocminer to let him know . ^dismiss that he already got back to me and fixed it , just wanted to say thanks , its a damn fine service . Ill always use the suprnova pools before others yes, suprnova is such a good pool. and, finally, the red warning has been removed :-) Stuck Cronjob was fixed recently, thanks for the info. I'm in contact with maxminers as well - so a second pool should be up soonish Great news! Thanks very much!

I have lived in the Berkeley Hills and used to work in the Silicon Valley..
Now I sell private kernels for pocket money...
and drink to much )) Not enough donations for the drunken master... Still hoping for donations? Hmm maybe I have a different definition.

Had no problems with viruses on my system since I switched to Linux, twenty years ago ;-)
hi pallas what block are you working on now? for full blockchain i mean Around 1.1M, I think I may be done by Tuesday or Wednesday.

When the computer is crashed, the wallet is loaded, but the damaged Wallet.dat is damaged and can be repaired? Reloading the blocks does not help.
You need a backup, or a private key dump. How to do it? Either you have a backup, or you don't have it. If the wallet doesn't open, you can't do a backup...

- bittrex is testing the wallet - crash fix is coming - full blockchain progressing, it takes a lot of time but it will come

So we did a good hardfork :-)
Can you elaborate? at least in PM? The original protocol had 0 block reward at this height, we decided to change it with a hardfork, otherwise nobody would mine it and the coin would be dead.

RMA experience with EVGA, international 3 years warranty: WOW! :-) The online procedure is simple and well organised. Just needs the serial number. They sent a new card back, after only a week, and it was even a better model! It hashes faster and I have a spare box and some extra caps LoL :-D
Yup... Good RMA experiences, too bad they break in the first place. What went wrong with the card that you had to send it in in the first place? one out of ten had the issue, it just returned from the cuda thread with an error as soon as the load got true. maybe ram.

Did you buy it from evga or some local dealer? I have good experiences about evga-eu, rma takes about one week, you don't loose warranty (3 years) if you change custom cooler and sometimes they have good b-stock deals (1 year warranty). local cheap dealer.

please post the last lines of debug.log maybe it's the same issue I'm already working to fix.

mine does the same, posted the debug a few pages back.
I will look into it today, thanks everybody for reporting.

when you run the wallet again, does it sync?

Hi guys,
Just a little update. I'm still building the full blockchain, it takes a lot of time because few nodes have all the blocks, or at least from the block height I need. It is progressing faster than before (makes sense: the higher the block height, the more nodes will have it available).
I'm in contact with bittrex but, unfortunately, I still can't tell if they are going to add XCN or not. What you could do (to help with listing) is contacting them (via slack, twitter, etc.) and say you would like Cryptonite to be listed on their exchange. Mining, thus incrementing the network hashrate, will also help, as it's one of their parameters for coin evaluation.
Thanks!
Hi pallas, So what block are you at now? I hope my node will start contributing too cuz I was using the wallet since the mid 2016 Btw, is there any compiled CPU miner for Windows? I'd like to try one. To all,Guys really, dont hesitate to promote XCN and spread the word I'm at block number 1M.

I checked the log, there was only one rpc request failed this morning.. nothing wrong i think.. i remember x11 was hard also at this difficulty on gpus in the past, and sib is slower..
Thanks. Could you please check DGB as well? Few blocks and mostly orphans.

Either very bad luck or something wrong on the sib pool.
4% of the network hashrate is going to have bad days. Throw those dice on a pool with more hash. 4 blocks in 2 days with a TTF or 2 hours is very bad luck or, possibly, an issue. It doesn't matter what the TTF, statistically speaking depending on the % chance over time determines essentially luck. That's why you stick to pools with higher %s of the network hash or you risk high variance. Higher block times makes variance even larger as there are less data points. well, TTF essentially tells the probability to find blocks, is just another index, so yes it does matter. we should have found 24 blocks on average on two days, and only found 4, even if we had low relative hashrate, it's pretty bad IMHO.
