1b) not really worth cpu-mining, especially at the current difficulty
2) I think the best card for mining xcn is the 1070, but it depends on how you build your rigs
4) you don't need the snapshot, unless you are doing some special use of the wallet, or its chain gets corrupted for some reason
5) 100 cards is a medium farm, big farms are much bigger.
But you have suggested downloading the blockchain snapshot if the QT wallet was taking long to download? In a normal situation, the initial sync is very fast because of the mini-blockchain. Wether you use the "fast sync" approach or the snapshot, you will need to download the last blocks, which is the slow part; but synce they are not many, it will take from half and hour to a couple hours. In case the wallet is left closed for long, or if you stop the "fast sync" before finishing, you may end up with many full blocks to download, and that may take very long. |

PS. speaking about 100x, pallas is currently sitting on something very interesting.
XCN? If polo or bittrex list it again, we can se a spike in the price.. ...and 100 days later it is 100x against btc and 250x against usd. $400 invested in a gpu 100 days ago 100 x $8= $800 $400 invested in xcn $400 x 250 = $100,000 Butbutbut you can always sell that gpu to gamers... LoL! those who believed have been well rewarded. |

i'm trying the djm34 version but it doesn't work with suprnova if i use F 3 intensity, why? where can i fidn another miner that do 15Mh on the pool? i'm getting some boo and some yay
what do you mean by "F 3 intensity"? djm34 version have f3 intensity to use but i get boo when i mien it on pool, i don't get boo when i mine it on solo, maybe the pool can't ccept that kind of intensity? well it shouldn't matter to the pool, unless the miner is submitting invalid nonces, or is doing some kind of buffer overflow into gpu ram. never heard of such a problem (wrong shares reported by the pool when on higher intensity). what's the max intensity that works on pool? what's the corresponding hashrate? |

- Run the wallet with the -resync option

Anyone able to trade on btc38? Says some shit with trading password, but place to set the pass before the trading. Two hours ago it was totally fine.
Had some problems with trading password in English version of site using Chrome. On Firefox working totally fine. Or switch to Chinese version. No problems for me on chromium/linux, though you can't hit enter, you need to click the button :-D |

actually you don't need a full pool, just a stratum/getblocktemplate proxy.
i know ... but id rather have our own cwi-pool  ... for testing tho - solo SHOULD be functional ... stupid bitcoin removing it in the first place  ... #crysx OR, we could help tpruvot add getblocktemplate support to ccminer. |

thats what i thought pallas ... tanx ... is there a change we can make to create an internal stratum system in the code? ... or is that too much damned work  ... #crysx best way, IMHO, is making your own pool. then you can re-use it on other coins in the future. |

Pallas, Any news from Poloniex? My coins are stuck  I think the best way is if everybody with stuck coins opens a ticket there, and bother them until they fix. I did what I could to make them reopen the wallet (months ago, and for weeks), they finally did it just for withdrawals, then blocked it again without notice. I.e. there is nothing technical... |
