2321  Economy / Lending / Re: want a loan of $1000 on: February 27, 2023, 12:00:50 PM
i have trusted these persons  and yet i have been scammed    what does this say about me ? you tell me

scammed 640 €  and way more in the past

but when i ask for one loan  i'm the scammer suddenly    funny how this works right ?

let's not go into the accuracy of what you say, but the fact that you were deceived is no guarantee that your intentions are honest when you ask for a loan here.
if you already had a bad experience where you trusted the wrong people, I am not sure what you don't understand here if you are not trusted enough to get a non-collateral loan.

so  what do i need to have to get a non collateral loan ?   only  a bit merit here on forum  and i'm golden ?

you obviously can't do anything to get such a loan and there aren't many merits who can help you there. and that's because of your behaviour and what you write here. But you probably already know all that, you've been told many times here, so your troll performances only make it harder for you to get any kind of loan.
2322  Economy / Reputation / Re: 'Bitcointalk forum is going downhill because of dkbit98' - CoinPayCard.net on: February 24, 2023, 05:33:56 PM
I also do not approve of the forum PM-only support I've been getting. Let's wait and see what happens and if they somehow take everyone's card funds away I'm opening a type 3 flag against them.

I will make a small update here.
they (or he, because I think one person is behind everything) are still active on their service, but apparently, they decide not to respond to complaints. until now he only gave responses here on the forum through PM, but even that stopped.
I tried to contact him through live chat on the website, asking a banal question, and pretending to be a future customer and I got a reply in a normal time period, around 3 min.
it seems that it is still accepting new users while ignoring the existing ones and keeping their money. I would say an obvious exit scam.

even if there is a bug, they should inform all existing users and temporarily stop the registration of new ones, because their system does not work.
I'm not sure I can say sorry for someone's loss here, especially not for the more experienced members.
2323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: project affiliate on: February 24, 2023, 03:03:16 PM
the affiliate program is run by nft

you will get a  nft and get % based on usage of service .

more details to people who are interested on this amazing project  on DM ,

you should be a little more specific, what exactly are you offering?
as a reward, you offer something that has no value nor is it known when it will even be worth it. you can't expect someone to put in their effort without any guarantee that it will be profitable.
maybe I'm too sceptical, but the glory days of NFT are over.
2324  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: yahoo62278 scammed the forum with his fake donation (part 2) on: February 24, 2023, 02:33:06 PM
He's not gone. He has been harassing me on telegram and messaging past clients whom I ran campaigns for. I guess he thinks he's doing something, but he's not.

So, how is he supposed to get the addresses of your past clients to send them PMs via Telegram? I say this because apparently it is believed that  Grin I have done the same thing and I would not know how to get the addresses of your past clients or those of another manager. I'd like to know, lest I get the urge to actually send PMs , lol.

If you check yahoo's (for example) profile page and click on "Show the last topics started by this person." you will easily see a list of all the (topics) campaigns he opened. Almost as a rule, in each of these threads, there are all contact channels from the project and campaign owners.
I'm surprised if you asked this seriously.

2326  Economy / Reputation / Re: 'Bitcointalk forum is going downhill because of dkbit98' - CoinPayCard.net on: February 24, 2023, 12:42:16 AM
Not trying to defend them or anything, but I want to write about my experience with this issue.

I didn't give it a red tag, primarily because of your feedback. To me, it looked almost as if you were vouching for him, you also helped him in his defence in some other threads besides his ANN. Jollygood, who is always quite aggressive at any hint of the possibility of a scam, was also in an amiable tone. that turned me to give them more time.
since I haven't tried that service myself, so I can't claim anything based on personal experience, I thought you wouldn't risk your reputation because of such an unconvincing "business". but we can all make mistakes.

The customer support pages were always unresponsive the whole time - I only got answers via forum PM.

I can't really accept providing support only through PM on the forum as acceptable behaviour for any serious business.

CoinPayCard reserves the right to modify or terminate the service at any time, without notice.

it is very difficult to understand for those who deposited their coins there even after everything was exposed.
2327  Economy / Reputation / Re: CoinPayCard.net ALERT on: February 23, 2023, 07:38:25 AM
Warning to everyone who is using CoinPayCard.net cards! Do not deposit any more coins there!
There are several reports from people who send money that never got credited, and they are not responding to their customers anywhere, with support page showing 404 Page Not Found error.
People tried contacting their support on website, telegram, using email, forum account Account CoinPayCard.net was online yesterday and they saw complains from other member but they didn't reply anything in public nor with personal messages.

I didn't like this from the beginning, just because of the way of communication and a lot of illogic behind them. for some reason, posts with a negative connotation in their ANN are no longer deleted as if they gave up on that and that's why it sounds like an exit scam to me.

Let's see what happens now, but don't forget who was the guy who warned about them when they first showed up in forum...

well done, you quickly recognized them.

I wonder why some DT members posted neutral feed back for this user?

probably because you can accuse someone of something that didn't happen. but unfortunately, that has also changed.
2328  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] Betnomi.com Review Campaign | 0.001 BTC/Review on: February 22, 2023, 02:03:18 PM
I'm really surprised that only 13 members made a review, what is the reason, I guess no one will give a deposit first.
how is the selection process going here, I would like to try if there are still free slots.

2330  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [β] BPIP Extension: user info & extra features add-on/extension, Firefox/Chrome on: February 22, 2023, 12:03:12 PM
Is it me or...

After the last tor update, the extension is no longer working. All the options are disabled, and if I try to enable them again, after a refresh they go to disabled again.
Any tips??

Which browser do you use?
everything is normal with me in both Chrome and Firefox. When you close that pop-up window (in Chrome) for additional options, are you allowed to access the bitcointalk site?
Also on the permissions tab in Firefox.

2331  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: yahoo62278 scammed the forum with his fake donation (part 2) on: February 21, 2023, 11:54:46 PM
As the guy said he donated some two hundreds and something dollars to yahoo also looking at the accounts he is creating continuously and paying the evil fees, if that is true then I don't think he has issue with money. It's some other things that pissed him off and finding the ban evading account by yahoo somehow effected the intend he had.

the fact that he donated is just his words. Many more reliable members were asked to confirm, sign the address and the like. why would we blindly believe that troll?

I see that he mentioned me in the opening of this thread, I have to ask though. Can his appearance and what he does with new accounts be considered an attempt to harass yahoo? especially if we take into account the health problem yahoo has.
2332  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano hardware wallet Phishing email about KYC out there on: February 21, 2023, 11:44:05 PM
As Lucius said, that's no longer the case. Additionally, don't skip too many firmware upgrades, otherwise you might find yourself in a situation where you can no longer update the software at all. For example, versions below 1.3 for the Nano S can no longer be upgraded, and you probably have to replace the device with one that comes installed with the newest firmware.

wait, does this mean that Ledger wallets with firmware 1.3 or older become useless junk?
Shouldn't they be obliged to make available all the changes and updates so far?

I wanted to give away a ledger with some coins on it, but that person will not use it very actively, it would certainly not be regularly updated. is it still better not to do it with the ledger, but to look for another option?
2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Becoming a Bounty Manager on: February 21, 2023, 11:29:37 PM
hello
I have some questions about being a Bounty Manager Where can I find Project Winners?
How to contact them If anyone knows, please provide the link

if you have to ask such things, maybe you should think about whether that job is for you, that is, whether you are for that type of job.
The campaign manager must be the one who starts the initiative, leads part of the project, presents it and controls the effect of a large number of participants (bounty hunters). if you have to ask how to start, what will happen to the first obstacle you come across and who will bear the consequences of your insecurity? think honestly, about whether you, as the project starter, would leave marketing in the hands of someone who does not know how to start.
2334  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacked for 165k STAKE.COM on: February 21, 2023, 10:33:48 PM
Hey all-been hacked from stake yesterday and trying to somehow locate the coins or find out if i can have them frozen or whatever the case may be, I have posted in another section and without going through all the details I will attach the link. anyone with any experience please reach out and I would be happy to try and figure. something out together.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5440588.0

again, any help would be insanely appreciated.

unfortunately, you can't be helped much. Apart from some comforting words and sympathy, you can't get anything more. everything is absolutely your fault, and stake.com has no obligation to you.
do not offer any monetary reward for help, because you risk losing money there as well.

I am truly sorry for your loss, it is huge. but you have to move on.
2335  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: how much the budget on: February 21, 2023, 03:12:52 PM

*how much the budget to create a website this kind of service

* advertising ( PTC )

* cash in / cash out

* exchange ( trx ltc doge xlm )

* send money/ remittance

i want to launch this kind of business

there are several different businesses involved, you didn't say whether you want to fit them all in one place or keep them separate.
it's always difficult to run this kind of online business if you don't have any knowledge about programming and how things work.

To begin with, you can easily find one of the proven PTC scripts yourself. I think they cost between $30-$100 it is only important for you that the developers make regular upgrades and updates.
About exchange, I assume you don't mean starting a full centralized exchange with accounting. that job requires a lot of money and a very good technical team that will do and maintain it all. again, if you don't have good prior knowledge, then I advise you not to get into it. The idea is not unique, plus the competition is very serious.
Maybe you can consider services like Changelly, where you can use their API and very easily integrate instant exchange widgets on your site.

cash in, send money is something completely different and think about it when you reach some reputation and trust.

2336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: starting holding with an "old" hardware wallet on: February 20, 2023, 10:15:30 PM
Trezor T is just fine. This is the current model and you don't need to change it. I use Trezor One, bought in 2017 and everything works almost perfectly. Just do the necessary update firmware and install the latest version of the Trezor suite app. be sure to download the application from their official site.

there are many who will tell you that Trezor is one of the best solutions if we are talking about hardware wallets.
2337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITGESELL - Store of value (Burn rate is 90% of tx fees) #realstoreofvalue on: February 20, 2023, 06:07:20 PM
Hi dear community!

going with the numerous requests here, we have an offer from CEX to get listed, here's the details (below).
Who could lead this process? Please DM me and let's do it!

it's always good to be on the exchange, but maybe not at any price. Vindax does not instil confidence in me, and as far as I have seen, it has a rather bad rating. also looking at the numbers (trading volume) on CMC, it seems as if they are a little inflated.

They asking for KYC, does this only apply to the person who will work on the listing with them or do they require a KYC procedure for all their users at all?

This process (listing) could be managed by one of your core developer.

I think that the whole process cannot be done without someone from the dev side.

2339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've invested around 450 dollars into bitcoin and I am 16 years old on: February 20, 2023, 05:22:06 PM
Not sure how I'll post proof of me being 16 in a safe way since one of the people in the last thread said it's dangerous to post any videos of myself after I posted them (that's why I deleted the video). Is there any safe way to prove that I'm 16?  Huh Huh

why would you even prove here how old you are? nobody is asking you to do that, nor is it a requirement to be a member of this forum.
one of the basic advantages of bitcoin is anonymity and privacy, it is completely contradictory to reveal your personal information. not only here but anywhere on the internet.

Also is there a reason why it's not safe to post vids of myself?

someone can abuse such a video and present themselves somewhere pretending to be you. if that someone commits fraud or any illegal activity, and all this is behind your name, it can cause certain problems for you.

I'll repeat what I said in the other discussion. 2/3 of my bitcoin are held in the stockpile.com app and the other third is with my dad. I'll talk to him about moving it all into one wallet but as of right now, it's not in one place.

holding bitcoin on to two different places is not a good decision as a matter of priority. certainly not if one of them is Stockpile. if you check their trust rating on https://www.trustpilot.com/review/stockpile.com you will see that there are many accusations against them. I would never trust people like them with my money.
You should learn more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency and how to safe hold it and after that make a decision.
Ask what you do not understand.
2340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Private keys posted on Bitcointalk on: February 20, 2023, 03:58:47 PM
considering that there is a lot and more and more talk about security, there are warnings everywhere, "keep safe your PK" or "not your key not your coins", now I'm interested in how effective such a campaign really is.
is it possible to see statistics or a graph of the number of posts with an exposed private key over a period of time? is the trend decreasing or are we talking about wallet security here in vain?
