2321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: October 05, 2023, 10:37:20 PM
Gambling was created just to have fun, not to create additional income, but if we succeed in winning at gambling, just think of it as luck that day because not every day gambling gives us continuous wins.[/left]
That's what we have to remember when playing gambling so that we don't try to chase a win that is clearly very difficult to get. If we manage to win, it is a bonus for us and whatever the size of our winnings, we must be able to stop gambling and not expect to get another big win by continuing to gamble. We won't be able to get another big win that day and maybe it will be the last one we can get, so we should use that big win for useful things that can benefit us so that we don't just chase wins anymore.
The big question is,  will gamblers stop taking gambling as a get rich quick activity,  because most of the gamblers that I have come across,  they all exhibit the characteristic of being after the money and not the fun,  in fact some of them see gambling as a waste of time unless they are chasing the winning,  only then will they see gambling as an event worthy to take part in but remove the winning potentiality they will exit the market most silently.

But due to winning,  most of them are still active in gambling and most even those that are addicted haven't stopped gambling despite the bad feelings due to the money aspect,  but if we check properly we do discover that if you fail to build the fun around gambling,  you will end up in loses on the long run,  because the house edge will always prevail at all time.
2322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: October 05, 2023, 10:18:49 PM

In the lottery there are fixed quantity of the winners(or fixed prize) and lots of participators. In sport betting everybody can choose the winner. Even if you bet with closed eyes - there are 3 results and your chances 33%.
And one more important thing. In the lottery the prize consists of money of the gamblers. In the sport betting - casino pays.
Really I thought both sportbet and lotteries are both hosted by casinos and at that the casino settles all the bets rewards and payouts,  I never knew that lottery rewards are paid with other gamblers' own money,  but then how do those that pick the lucky numbers and hit a jackpot in lottery get paid if it the money from the buying of lottery tickets buy other gambler is what is used to settle payments in the lottery?

because most lottery tickets are priced at such a low amount and cumulatively such an amount won't round up to make up for the total lottery winning amount in some cases.
2323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 05, 2023, 09:58:52 PM
Everyone almost doubts Real Madrid this season because they don't have a striker like Benzema, especially with the failure in the previous season to win the league which naturally raises many questions about which player will continue to score goals. Even without a clear plan, Real Madrid are lucky to have a player like Bellingham who they brought in this summer but he is still a midfielder and no one has high expectations for him. However, most people's doubts were answered with his performance, which continued to score goals for Real Madrid until he became the current top scorer in the current league. It's true that currently everything is still going smoothly even for the champions league, but I hope they can start thinking about adding another striker later in the winter because Joselu looks like he will only be a cover during this season and will rarely be included in the line up.
It's the Vinius effect. Real Madrid struggled a little when Vini got injured and with his return, there is some boost in the forward power, but this just goes to show that Real Madrid is an injury or two away from being a completely different team

If both Vini and Bellingham get sidelined, that is when you will realize that Real Madrid needs a good natural striker.
Yes I am not surprised at the result recorded by Real Madrid after the return of one of the big player from injury and to a great extent the outcome has changed a lot of wrong perceptions that fans were beginning to have towards the club due to their recent poor performance in the leagues but them now that the player has returned from the injury,  the result we are seeing is what is expected and a big boost to what we can expect in the coming weeks and legs in this round of the tournament.

Real Madrid has a track record of great performance in the last few seasons back,  and the departure of Benzema and Vinius whose both efforts and presence in Real Madrid have changed a whole lot in previous matches so now that the player is back from injury,  it means we should watch out for some exciting time for Real Madrid.
2324  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MoneyPot.com - 20k satoshi giveaway on: October 05, 2023, 09:51:29 PM
Really how long is it going take before we start seeing member posting they reviews about the site,  because for a casino that gift such a bonus to members in the forum, it is worthy for members to retaliate the gesture by dropping a few words about how the experience is during the time in the casino,  and also how effective the bonus system are,  so the question is directed to members who are claiming the bonus and dropping the usernames and have received and used the bonus.

I am just waiting for some few feedback before I consider spending my weekend in playing a few games in this casino to see for myself but before then I would like to read the comments of other members who have tried the site out already.
2325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: October 05, 2023, 09:16:34 PM

I have not seen any crypto based casino where it is possible to operate any such casino games. The main purpose of the casino is to do business. If they intend to conduct such an event then of course there will be more potential for them to lose. Because a casino must spend a lot of time to run such games which will definitely not be profitable. These games are limited to certain countries which is why they are not supported globally. Moreover, many people will not accept it because of the possibility of harm. I have seen Cockfight but I have not seen any such artificial event.
I think due to the unpopular nature of this game is the reason why most casino doesn't have it on their game schedule and the cost of implementation vs. the potential profitability from this game is indeed on of the reason also why some casino never consider this game to be worthy to get listed on the casino.

Cockfight is a traditional game,  and even at that level, most places around the world don't still know the game and that is how unpopular cockfighting is and for that it may not be familiar to a lot of people,  so developing it to the casino will mostly take money out of the casino without any potential profits to warrant such developmental cost.
2326  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, No Upfront KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: October 05, 2023, 09:10:48 PM

Since we are an anonymous, VPN-friendly casino, any player can register and play from almost anywhere, and if there is a point that, for whatever reason, KYC is necessary, the player will just have to provide the necessary documents, and the account will be verified. It doesn't matter if they registered via VPN from another country as It will sorted through the documentation provided.

Oh really nice to get this feedback from you and for clearing the air as regard to your KYC and how you intend to handle that most especially in situations where the gambler registers using von and under another country,  it's good to know that you accept any documents for KYC regardless of the country on origin,  but another challenge will be,  won't you run into regulatory troubles if you are found to be accepting document from random countries for verification.

Since that could give room for possible usage of fake documents to verify an account because your country is not required for document submission,  how then do you verify the authenticity of the document presented?
2327  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: October 05, 2023, 08:45:38 PM

This is why it would really be that ideal that you should have multiple income sources rather  than on focusing one. Spending on needs and expenses would definitely be that affect you out so badly
and if you dont like on being shorted when it comes to budget or you do find out that its already not that enough then it would really be just that right on what are the things that you must do.
Yes in business or real life one needs to set up a reserve balance,  this way When challenges happen along the line,  you have something to fall back on and that way it will make the impact of the challenges to be less on you and won't take away from you capital as a business person,  or pushing you into debt just to pass through such challenging phase on the long run,  and more also having multiple sources of income os another great way to keep yourself prepared ahead for any possible financial problem that may come along your way.

Having financial freedom and independence go a long way to how one survives through any economic situation and what the impact of such will be on the financial well-being of that individual.
2328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: October 05, 2023, 07:01:20 PM

As an ordinary gambler, I will be more self-aware not to chase VIP rankings just for the benefit of being a VIP member at a particular casino and prefer to gamble in a relaxed manner enjoying every bet and when the time is right, the VIP ranking will definitely increase by itself so there is no need to think about it VIP rank just do what you want to do rather than trying to pursue VIP rank which requires a large budget and the huge risk of losing your entire budget.
Even though there are various slightly safe ways to increase VIP rank with an average budget amount, it still won't be safe because as OP said, there is still a chance of losing money unless the rule of increasing VIP is not from the bet amount but the deposit amount like the casinos here has slightly less risk because increasing the VIP rank is not based on the total bet amount, only the deposit amount and you can still withdraw the deposit money, but the risk is always there.
The thing with VIP accounts is that,  it gives you a whole level of experience in the casino and even some of the end of the month bonuses that will be oaid to the account base on it level is quite high and tempting enough to make one want to build the account to that level but it takes a lot of hard work and intense cumulative wagering to arrive at that rank on the casino.

So for that some time gambler will rather focus on the fun and rewards aspect instead of trying to build their account to that level,  and at some point,  we tend to even forget to keep track of our progress in the ranking line since that is not our main focus.
2329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: October 05, 2023, 06:51:46 PM
The answer might be nuanced. Success in gambling doesn’t necessarily qualify someone as being an addict. Gambling addiction is characterized by a number of signs and symptoms, including but not limited to, a preoccupation with gambling, increasing amounts bet (needing to gamble with more money to get the same level of excitement), and inability to stop or reduce gambling, even in the face of negative consequences.

A gambler can be strategic, have a sharp understanding of the game and luck, and be able to win consistently without being addicted. If this person has a disciplined approach, employs a solid strategy, manages their bankroll effectively, and does not show behavioural signs of addiction, they are not necessarily a problematic gambler
Yep, you are very correct,  a gambler can be strategic and smart enough to be able to avoid all the lip holes that could drag him down into the mud of addictions, those set of gamblers,  already have their laydown plans before they embark on any of such movement and will never go against their predetermined plans in other to remain focus on the games and avoiding any form of distractions that could lead to addictions.

Doing that repeatedly is what makes them to become successful gamblers in the long run,  gambling shouldn't be taken as a passive means of earning but rather as a fun fair so there is no need to be professional innit all that is needed is just a basic guideline and skills,  then pray that your luck hit each or most times.
2330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Lady Cried After Losing to Sports Bet. Gambling is Not Your Mate. on: October 05, 2023, 06:39:50 PM
The lady is funny enough to have made plans on how to spend profits from gambling,  how can she build castles in the air is quite unfortunate for her but just as others have mentioned a very important possibility is that she wants to trend on social media that is why she brought up this case to social media if not,  the lady should have known a better way to console herself of the loss,  and also make other plans to get money to spend on the right thing she wanted to spend her imaginary bounty on.

This case is over sad for her and considering the increase in the number of female gamblers in the society lately,  I think she should have taught lessons from her previous bets not to trust any ticked no matter what games are listed on it,  because then minutes will change and define everything.
2331  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 05, 2023, 06:30:31 PM
If I were to gamble at a casino like this, I would feel like I had been cheated. If mandatory KYC is implemented, the registration form should include a checklist or notes outlining the terms and conditions of agreeing to KYC. It seems like the casino is only interested in taking deposits and doesn't care about their customers receiving their winnings.
Well, this type of behavior is not new, it's something that is very common with a lot of casinos and even most crypto currency exchange.
Even till today, trust me, there are a lot of casinos out there right now where a gambler can easily without kyc verification deposit a hundred thousand dollars, but for some time, and luckily win extra one hundred thousand dollars and ask or request a withdrawal of your entire balance on your account, you will instantly be blocked and asked to go through a kyc verification process, and get verified before your withdrawal request can be processed.

This is something a lot of casinos do and it's clearly a cheat, what if at that point, the gambler doest have the requested documents for the kyc verification, does it mean the casino will seize his or her money for ever?, I call this daylight robbery.
Not to go too far,  majority of us here are gambling on casinos that have kyc as a rule but they have never asked us for KYC and that is something we have to take note of when discussing topics related to crypto casino and KYC because there are rules that guide kyc implementations and once the gambler does not violates or go beyond such limts then you are good to go and most time you don't need kyc.

Most of the reputable casinos that we have here in the forum are all into this level of operation on kyc and does not make too struck laws unless if the gambler exhibits some suspicious behaviour to warrant the casino to demand for kyc.
2332  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, No Upfront KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: October 05, 2023, 04:18:59 PM
Even though this team promised that they don't ask for kyc upfront but that doesn't mean that KYC won't be demanded at some point,  so if that is the case,  what are the modalities put in place for those players that register using VPN and under false countries?

Good question, aside the possibility that a player may use VPN to bypass countries restriction, I think it can also be a problem when a player (not from restricted country) use VPN most of the time especially if the player use some different countries/IPs then at one point the player need to undergo KYC.
In this case, the chance of having a correct connection between the IPs and the address in the personal document will be so low and I think it will hard for the KYC to be verified due to different IPs.
I'm curious to know how empire.io will deal with such situation or what is the best solution to avoid problem because the usage of VPNs by their players.

Yes for a casino to declares VPN friendly it means their will be 100% no kyc because any form of kyc will affect the gamblers if they keep records of their up and country of origin which they will do,  so for the casino must have to settle thos differences before making some statements as regard that that aspect of free VPN and KYC in the first place.

All though the casino already makes the stands on the almost no kyc which could be a strong point that we can hold against them and if everything goes well then it will become a basis for them to build a strong reputation.
2333  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Ghana preparing to supply Nigeria electricity. on: October 05, 2023, 04:10:28 PM
Finance I think is not the cause of our power shortage here in Nigeria as our government allocates huge fund to the power sector

Electricity production in Nigeria as of March 2023, 8,607 GWh
Electricity production in Ghana as of December 2021, 22,051 GWh
Electricity production in South Africa as of July 2023, 19,844 GWh
Electricity production in Morocco as of December 2021, 40,512 GWh
Electricity production in Côte d'Ivoire as of March 2023, 8,607 GWh

Using this data above that means Nigairia electricity production way below what the country consume in electricity,  a lot has to be done to improve the power sector and if Ghana as a neighbouring country can come in on that,  I think there is nothing wrong with that,  and as that will be part of their bilateral responsibility for Nigeria,  and also such of revenue to Ghana,  if Nigeria can supply them power for so lai ng I don't see why we should worry about Ghana becoming a supply of electricity to Nigeria,  if they have surplus electricity generation.

And from the data above it shows that Ghana's electricity sector is indeed doing great being the highest on the list and I would like to know if the article in the link also covers the electricity consumption of each member country.

2336  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptoplay.io - Casino and Sportsbook | Race and Rise to Riches - $2M | VIP ⚽️🎰 on: October 04, 2023, 11:57:02 PM
The competition is very tough in the forum and only the best gambling casinos gets to survive longer, and from the look of things
I'll  assume  cryptoplay.io must have done a number of consultations before getting here which means they are prepared for the competition that exists in the forum. As a gambler I strongly believe that the bigger the competition in a market the better the service rendered to customers.

I usually give a lot of time before  testing new casino's that just made their way into the forum but from all indication I feel lenient to give you guys an immediate try to your site by having an account in the course of the week.
Welcome to the forum we hope to have cryptoplay.io serve us (gamblers) better.
What competition are you talking about mate?

Do we have an ongoing competition for casinos or you are referring to casinos competitive for customers' attention here in the forum and outside the forum also?

If that is what you mean,  then you have a good point because I can see that coinplay has sustained and maintained a steady presence here in the forum and I must commend them for that so far and I wish to see more of them shortly.
2337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 04, 2023, 11:44:31 PM
Very sad to see that if liverpool was accepting unfair decision from what happeend due to the var. Var needs to be evaluated even more. It's caused by liverpool was not the only one. There have been many clubs were also getting disadvantage due to the var.
I think that this tech is not perfect yet being used in the EPL.
It looks like Liverpool will accept this decision or they will ask for a rematch. I admit that I am very annoyed with the decision because if it is confirmed, Liverpool will not experience defeat and they will still be on their best path in the Premier League. Several bad decisions have been given by referee Simon Hooper which cannot be accepted by Liverpool fans. As we can see, this match was colored by the many cards he issued in this match which made Simon Hooper considered unprofessional in carrying out his duties. Apart from that, Kloop seems to want this match to be replayed after the var case which annulled Luis Diaz's goal.

But we will see the competition this week where Liverpool will face Brighton in this match. I predict this match will be quite exciting considering that Brighton is quite strong this season. They are able to provide interesting resistance to their opponents. However, for Liverpool, they will first face Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the European league match which will take place tomorrow.
The coming days will determine where Liverpool faith will hang in the premier league,  when their face Brighton who happens to be a club in the same category with Liverpool even since the last two season when Liverpool started misbehaving and losing points and matches.

Although if I am to predict,  I will still choose Liverpool for a straight winning because that is what will ultimately happen on the match and if there be any chance at all for Brignton then their score a goal or two during the match but not to the point of winning Liverpool in the matche.
2338  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: October 04, 2023, 11:38:50 PM
Hello nitrobetting, I've just stumbled upon and got to check you guys. I think that you're complete package because I've seen that you've got my favorite esports and other esports as well. Also, I have read several discussions about horse racing and you've got a racebook too for which IMO, the first time to see a bookie that have this. There could have been bookies before that have horse racing but they didn't last. You've got variety of games that anyone could enjoy. Hope you'll stay for long.

You advertise them and yet "stumbled upon" them, sounds legit.

Many sites have horse racing. Sportsbet.io is MUCH bigger site and long time in business and has horse racing.

And if you want to see how "legit" nitrobetting is just check their previous site nitrogen sports here, great feedback:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=88706

Great post, just great! Complete package....  Roll Eyes
That's why I check them out not just because I am in their campaign but because I want to check them out and probably just used the wrong word stumbled upon, pardon me with that. Thanks, I didn't know all of that what you've said. I know that it sounds sarcastic about that complete package but that's what I see with the design that they have by just looking at it. Anyway, thanks bud for all what you've said.
Well forum advertisement doesn't really mandate to you the service because as a forum member you are acting on your own right and represent yourself both in you comment and every other activities in the forum even as you wear a company signature because it doesn't mandate you to act in a particular ways,  so is possible you advertise them and yet not know much about the casino unless if you are going to be paid on the casino that the only way you are mandated to create an account t on the casino but in this case @batang_bitcoin may be right in his expression and use of the word stumbled upon even though that is not what he meant in his own case.

But all the same, its good to see the team constantly making efforts to get things right in here and I am glad to see that their sports book is up and running also.
2339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: October 04, 2023, 11:27:22 PM

unfortunately it will not be easy to put an end to these 1xbit scammers, their main casino and the official sponsor of PSG, you can see it here:

https://pt.psg.fr/clube/patrocinadores

I think the situation on your country is nothing different from the mind also because this team seems to be very popular here in my country and sometimes their adverts are even aired on national stations which shows that indeed they are licensed in some countries but I am not sure if there are properly licensed in my country since due to corruption in government, there may operate unlicensed in my country,  but if they do have a licensed don't we think it can be easy to put up a case against this company and bringing them down completely to avoid future cater trophy coming from the professional 1xcorps scammers hiding under various identities and companies.

I don't know if they are currently sponsoring any local football leagues in my country but I know they have loads of celebrities as their brand ambassador who promote them.
2340  Economy / Gambling / Re: Restricted on casino bonuses on: October 04, 2023, 11:14:40 PM

What you said is correct, because it is also the primary reason for the establishment of an online casino. It is evident that it is nothing more than a business. And all casinos maintain complete control over all of their gamblers who use their platform.

If someone wins at gambling, they are aware of it and set a limit. There is no casino whose objective is that all gamblers win on their platform, even though all or most players want to win at the casino. However, the majority of players lose here, and only a handful win. As far as I know, this is how casinos operate.

If I were the ops,  I wi just take a bow and give a break,  to either return to play with my deposits or look for another casino that will give new bonuses,  because is obvious that the ops have exusted all his bonus limits on this casino and it good that the casino have handed him the notice on time,  so the ops already mentioned how he had a good time and winning from that casino so for them to act in such manner to me is not entirely wrong since the casino may have some limit to how much a player can claim in bonuses.

As such we have to wait to read the response of ops to get more details of the situation but from what he already explained,  he does have a good time and shouldn't have any problem with the casino's current stands.
