Not when you factor in power-supply, labor connecting it all, some form of case... (Last time I checked, they didn't ship with power-supplies.)
Add in an overkill power supply for $99 and it's still cheaper. Case not needed. If you really need to host your miner in your baby's crib, I recommend some other product.

we're going to round up because you can't buy a fraction of a machine. This means that you need 7 Machines to get a little more hashing power than AMT. So while (BTC1.37 * 7 units * $560) = 5370.4 and that is a cheaper initial buy-in
So the Ant is cheaper. Thanks for confirming my facts. , you and other champions neglect a key factor. (7 units * 360 watts) = 2520, more than twice the projected AMT power consumption (1200 watts).
And you forget the most important factor. Delivery date. Order the Ants and they'll be delivered in a few days. Order AMT, and they may deliver it someday. That delivery date more than makes up for the minor electricity draw difference.

I've ordered and paid for 2 x AMT 2.4 - Order number# 1503 (please add it to the orders list)
Why would you do that? Antminers are cheaper and ship sooner. It must be nice being so rich you can just throw money away.

OSM Elite, 14 boards, 420+ GH/s, $4479 outside EU, €3920 which includes VAT inside EU, €3240 for business buyers with VAT number. Questions ? Ask away... or email info@btcguru.euWhat's the point when Ants are doing 200 GH/s for under $800 and are actually in-stock?
|
|

The phrase "up to" is an important part of the phrase "up to 800GH/s" and should not be ignored, but rather understood in context. No one reading the Yoli EVO description will be "deceived" because the product page at http://hashfast.com/shop/yolievo/clearly states Maximum Bitcoin Mining Performance: up to 800 GH/s (with a proper cooling system) Typical Bitcoin Mining Performance: 675 GH/s +/- 20% Can you show the chip working at 800 GH/s?

Though, no ASIC miner that I know of, to date, has operated in that order... (Legitimate or not.)
That's why all the smart miners order from Bitmain. Here's how they did it. 1. Develop ASIC with company funds 2. Sell in-stock ASICs

Lets stay focused on the big picture here....AMT we are rooting for you to put out a quality product, and if you do, you will have future investors on your hands.
Why? They are late and over-priced. They lie about specs. They lie about shipping. Why would you want to support a company like that?

I'm just going to ask for my REFUND, something isn't right here guys. Why would they freak out about me being here?
Well, they don't really have a license to do business there.

YOU guys have been posting in this forum... for 5 years? or even 2-3 years.. would be quite a bit...
Well, this forum hasn't been around 5 years, but a few of us have been here a very long time.

I would like to formally apologize to AMT for showing up.
You have no need to apologize. An upstanding business has an address and you have every right, especially as a customer, to feel free to knock on their doors.

There is no use trying to convince me that bitcoin can survive more then couple of years, before it will get eaten by competition.
That's what they said in 2009. That's what they said in 2010. That's what they said in 2011. That's what they said in 2012. That's what they said in 2013. That's what you say in 2014. Notice a pattern?

and to your point about posting a video ... no wonder that they don't because according to you "If AMT just show up and post a couple of pics and video of their miner - not good for me".
so what is the point?
The point is this: First units ship out on Wednesday guys. We'll make a video of the miner as well and list all details.
They said they would! Why is it so unreasonable to expect companies to follow through on their word?

If you are in the US and have EVER started a corporation you would know that for the tax benefits you start a corporation in Delaware as its a legit way of doing things. Must transnational corporations are lsited there. . They are not listed in PA because they are not registered there.
Since you're new here, you may not realize we've already been over this. While they can incorporate in another state, they need to be registered in the state they are doing business. http://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/LI/consCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&ttl=15&div=0&chpt=41A foreign business corporation, before doing business in this Commonwealth, shall procure a certificate of authority to do so from the Department of State
Where's their Certificate of Authority? Even worse, their website lists "Copyright © 2013 Advanced Mining Technology Inc", which in fact is the name of a real business in PA, a real dig-in-the-dirt mining business registered some 20+ years ago.

All right, all orders from 500-600 are now shipped. Who's got a tracking number?

Got it too. MTGox email db was compromised or something?
Of course it was, but that was way back in 2011.

Where this EULA contradicts the rights in the App licensed under the GNU General Public License v.3, the terms of the GNU General Public License v.3 will prevail in respect of the contradictory part only.
Ah, I see, they're trying to EULA access to their Server. That's fine, they can do whatever they want to their Server. I don't have to use it. The GPL prevails, and I can use the app and/or sources however I wish, as long as I don't use their Server.

|
It's definitely an improvement. 13.1 This EULA takes effect upon your download and/or use of the App
No. I refuse to agree to any EULA to use GPL softare. Period.

A whole week to produce a video. This is going to be one awesome video. I wonder if they have any Bitcoin celebrities starring in it!
