Hi !
Let's understand that sometimes this is usual and sometimes it's unusual for you to have such probelms. If this is normal for you then I would honestly advice you to seek medical care. Most people fail to understand that addiction is a cause of brain abnormality and thus needs to be treated that way as well. Therefore for starters you should go to the GP and get a referral. If this is not the case and this is a one time thing you should *never try and do it again* try and put your savings somewhere else not in the same wallet from where it can be accessed that easily. Make separate wallets for gambling and savings which on any accord must not be touched. I hope you realize that you solely are in control of all of this and improve your situation. Best of luck!

It's not a brain anomaly at all. Rather, it is a conditioned reflex that a person acquires while gambling. If you win, you get a release of the happiness hormone. It does not matter at all how big the winnings are. Over time you get used to constantly encouraging your body with these hormones and when you deprive yourself of these hormone emissions you fall into a depressive state. That's why the gambler is so drawn to come back to the casino.

It was almost two months hard earned money. Got busted in few minutes. I don't know why I wasn't able to have me within the limits. Just started with a $3 bet, but it went upto $98 and ended with empty wallet. This is completely unlucky, because every bets were placed to roll above 20 which means the winning probability is quite high. Anyhow I wasn't in control and I didn't follow the rule gamble what you can afford to loss. It was a money saved to repay a debt. Now once again the interest needs to be paid so to manage the debt for some more time. Unlucky me  Sad Sad Sad

It takes week, months and years to earn money but it takes only few seconds to lose all the money.

That's the reason why everyone tells us that do not to spend the money which we can't afford to lose in gambling and trading. Both are risky and can make us bankrupt.  Nothing can be done now as the damage has been done. Now you need to focus again to earn more money to repay the debt. Sad

I'm sure that each of us has paid our fee for the experience with gambling, some a lot some a little, but hardly anyone has been able to get the experience for free. If a person cannot control himself while gambling then he will pay the price. The main question is how much he will pay before he learns to control himself. The saddest thing is that some gamblers are willing to pay for their entire lives without realizing that until you know how to control yourself it is better to stay away from gambling.
2343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: May 03, 2022, 09:24:11 AM
I don't know about the state of gambling in Australia is it really that worse that they want to take out all these machines even if gradually if it's that high, but if they are responsible gamblers I don't think they should take them all out if they don't have alternatives for the patrons of these machines, in a country where gambling is tolerated the government just don't take everything out without alternative or transferring to other venues.

As far as I know, Australia is one of those countries where gambling is very widespread. Just imagine if every pub and cafe in your country had several slot machines. I don't think gambling is a bad thing and should be banned completely, but I don't think it will do any good. At least I wouldn't want my child to see all this and take it for granted.

2346  Local / Альтернативные криптовалюты / Re: Дно которое все ждали on: May 02, 2022, 07:44:30 AM

It is known that problems almost never arise in the beginning. Or at least almost never. Everyone wants to play with a low stake and limit. But then the inevitable happens; the money has run out. What are you doing then? Some players think it's good enough and give up and continue to play with low amounts for fun. The large group, however, raises the stakes and by now we all know how that often ends. It is more common than people think that players gamble entire capitals and bank accounts through it with all the consequences that entails. Great social impact in private and business sphere.

That is why you need to cultivate a sense of proportion and before the game to determine for yourself the maximum bankroll and the maximum bet size. It cannot be said that adherence to your original strategy throughout the game will help you win at the casino, but with such a simple tool you can educate yourself in the willpower that can not break even the most exciting game of chance.
2349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: May 01, 2022, 07:54:32 AM
I am not an expert in Australian politics, but judging by the initiative and the fact that the name of the party contains the word "greens", these are just another leftist idiots who "invented" how people should live and will now try to force people to conform to their fictions.

Well, with so many socialists on the forum, I'm glad to find someone who thinks like me, as there aren't many around here.

Leftists tend quite a bit to ban and force, as in this case. I particularly, although I'm not a big supporter of regulations, I do believe that the gambling industry has to be regulated, but in this case it's silly. Are they going to ban slot machines in bars and pubs when today everyone has unlimited access to slot machines from the mobile? Lol. Idiots.

To be honest, I rarely read the Politics section and the like, so I didn’t notice that there are a lot of socialists here, it’s sad if so.

As for the stupidity of the leftists and the fact that their prohibitions are easy to get around - yes it is. But I believe that bypassing the ban is a losing path, because by trying to get around the ban you recognize that someone has the right to restrict you. It is unacceptable.
Plus, it should be borne in mind that they never stop (until they get a rebuff), for example, in the case under discussion, their next step will be to ban access to online casinos (as has already been implemented in many countries). This can be bypassed with the help of VPN, but they will again come up with the "next" ban. This is a road to nowhere, it is better not to start it.

If you look carefully you will see that they are not going to completely ban gambling they only want to reduce the gambling addiction of citizens by gradually reducing the number of gambling machines and which are placed on almost every corner in pubs, bars, etc. Think about it, is it good when about 70-80% of adult Australians gamble? Personally for me it is just an unacceptable statistic and I see nothing wrong with this initiative.

I personally do not see any inconsistencies between the author's list and reality and you can easily find this list on the Internet, so I think it is quite reliable. In countries where gambling is legal and regulated by the authorities you can easily get statistics on each person's spending on gambling without conducting any sociological surveys. Besides, the number of gambling establishments in this or that country can be a good indicator.
2351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 01, 2022, 07:25:52 AM
~snip~

If you can not control yourself while gambling then you already have a gambling addiction. And instead of complaining on a forum about bad luck, find the strength to admit that all this is your fault and seek help from professionals who will help you without too much suffering to get rid of the pernicious effects of gambling addiction.

2355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: April 29, 2022, 09:42:15 AM

I think it would be a good practice to create several medical institutions to help the gamblers get rid of this problem. In my opinion the main share of funding for such a fund should fall on the shoulders of entrepreneurs who conduct their activities in the sphere of gambling Australia part of the funding should be provided at the expense of the state which collects taxes from these entrepreneurs. I do not know why but it seems to me that reducing the number of gambling establishments will not solve this problem.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: April 29, 2022, 08:34:03 AM
I do not quite understand why the Australian authorities first allowed so much expansion of gambling and now try to fight it by all available means.

Back in 2017, I read that in Australia there is a very widespread gambling addiction among the population, but as I look from that time not much has changed.

On the one hand I am not in favor of a complete ban on slot machines, but in my opinion they should not stand on every corner.

You have a good approach to gambling. I also mostly play slots but sometimes try my luck in games that require skills such as poker but no matter how hard I try I almost always leave the table without my money. I have learned not to get upset about it because I understand that against me can play as bots and professional players. I treat the money I deposit as a ticket for admission to the game.

I absolutely agree with you that this is quite a risky investment. The seeds are very expensive and so far I don't see any real promotion of the collection by Murakami. The current price is most likely based on the artist's past successes and could drop significantly if he can't give his collection the attention it deserves. I mean attention both on the promotion side and on the economic building side around his metaverse.
2359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 28, 2022, 01:10:35 PM

It all depends on what strategy is used by the campaign manager. As you know, some managers use strategies in which participants of the promotion program receive rewards on the casino deposit. This approach not only increases the number of casino users, but also allows users to personally check how fast it is possible to withdraw funds from a gambling site. In my opinion this approach also increases the number of real reviews on the forum. That's why I think a manager's competent approach can increase awareness of a gambling site.
2360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which sports betting picks and prediction channel you watch? on: April 28, 2022, 08:03:32 AM

That's my point, too. No one can predict the outcome of upcoming events with 100% certainty. Many bettors use various analytical tools and read analytical channels, but all of them also do not give any guarantees because in sports a lot depends on random events that cannot be predicted.
