2341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Your Best trading platform is? on: August 03, 2021, 04:32:20 PM
I trade using meta Trader 4 since it gives me wider options to trade metals and crypto and my broker is octa fx. I trade more of Bitcoin and Xau since their volatility is high. I'm thinking of trying coinbase in in few months time so I can compare both platform to find out which suits me most.
2342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: August 03, 2021, 11:41:52 AM
Before I play in any online casino I always make sure I will not be asked for KYC or personal information. If I know that a casino will be asking me to undergo KYC verification I will reject it immediately. No online casino is so special to me that I will undergo KYC for its sake.
This is only if you don't get trapped by most of the enticing bonuses that comes with new users. The bonus can actually so entice you and you even forget to consider if the online casino requires KYC verification before withdrawal and the frustrating aspect is this KYC is only applicable to withdrawals but for deposits it's always very easy and smooth.
2343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be betting more during the Olympics? on: August 03, 2021, 11:34:59 AM
Stick to what you can attempt to analyze. Betting on a sport because it's new or you aren't fully familiar with it will make you go beyond your budget. I stick to what I know gamble with it because it a fun activity for me anything outside this is like getting my self chocked with excess projects. Except I find the game fun over time then I can dive into gambling them having a fixed budget for it
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of gambling sites that allow VPN on: August 03, 2021, 11:28:25 AM
I became bored with the games that are not restricted in my country and am tired of playing the same games on few nonrestrictive sites, am aware of some gambling site that allow the use of vpn but am afraid of getting my account ban, as some of those sites have zero regards for users using vpn to access they site.

so am wondering if there are gambling platforms that publicly allow the use of vpn with no hidden penalties?
Before a gambling site decides to restrict their sites to people within their country it's obvious the don't need foreigners for reasons best known to them and as such accessing the site with VPN will certainly attract an outright ban. Now getting a site that will accept VPN on their gambling site will be a bit hard to find but you can still do your own research all the same
2345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any contests for predicting the price of coins? on: August 02, 2021, 10:57:58 PM
It's a welcome idea since you have the vision you can actually pioneer it certainly sponsors will troop in that I'm certain about but for the time been we create threads like this from time to time to test our various abilities. But if you want a constant thread on this then kick start it while we follow
2346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Lost 17500$ during recent downswing, Now completely broke. on: August 02, 2021, 10:51:13 PM
This is where take profit and stop loss plays vital role. No guru can accurately tell how long a trade can sustain a given direction and so therefore it's always good to always take profit to avoid regretting. If you had applied stop loss and had shifted it above your entry point you would have left the trade with a profit. Shit happens though it's part of your own trading experience. Hope you recover soonest
2347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: August 01, 2021, 06:39:47 PM
I can sense how much emotional trauma those guys must have gone through. I actually felt for Akio Kashiwagi  who Lost $19 million and was murdered in his home and it could be as a result of debts he could be owing. It's really sad how people get so trapped by gambling addiction and get so engrossed in that that help becomes an impossible mission.
2348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: August 01, 2021, 06:08:42 PM
I have accounts on some gambling sites and never read their terms only on sites that I am actively playing because some of these terms are just the same terms where you are actively playing, I just read them when I decide to become active and deposit big money, it's very important that you are not violating any rules or terms, in case you win a jackpot and would like to cash out when money is involved you have to be guided.
Most gamblers has fallen victim of this online casinos and gambling sites. Just imagine winnings a mega jackpot and you are required to meet a certain criteria before you can cash out it looks frustrating atimes most especially when you can't meet up to those demands early enough it can put you as a person under duress.
2349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need beginner guide in gambling. on: August 01, 2021, 06:03:28 PM
Unfortunately, there are no technical advices that you can have to take advantage in gambling because all of the gambling are luck-based so you should only rely on luck and you need to ask for advice on how to win and how to return the money that you have lost. My suggestion for you is you should have good management on your money, you should know when to continue and when to stop.
Let's assume there are mechanics for gambling let's say there are academies out there willing to teach will @op have the dicipline to learn all it takes to succeed in gambling. The point here is anything that has to do with finance comes with emotional torment most especially gambling. For me take gambling as a game of luck risk what you can afford to let go of
2350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin worth so much? on: July 31, 2021, 02:40:57 PM
This actually what makes blockchain technology different from everyother technology that has ever existed. For crypto currency unlike other currencies Bitcoin upon which other digital currencies are built upon has a highly secure database with open source and transparent network. Every other digital currency or altcoin only build upon what has already been built and non has succeeded to improve on Bitcoin and I doubt if there is any lapses in bitcoin except for the high energy consumption during minning.
2351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 31, 2021, 02:20:43 PM
You're thinking about it too much to be honest there are some kids who are already exposed to gambling even before the internet promotes it.
I for one grow up seeing it regularly gambling at schools and even in our own backyard.
It just depends on how people would control it I would be honest that it does affect my school performance as OP stated but I got over it.
Most times we neglect our children feeling the know nothing. They level of exposure the younger generation get access to on daily basis will amaze you as an adult. Most of this children get exposed too early either through the internet, from close friends most times even from careless parents. Any parent who will not create enough time to advice and educate their children on the way to go about their daily activities will only end up training all sort of negative addicted lads.
2352  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Beauty Of Real Trading on: July 31, 2021, 07:48:26 AM
Throughout my trading carrier one primary thing I have learnt is patience. Both for my trade and with the knowledge I have acquired. The fact a trader understands how to interpret a chat doesn't mean he wouldn't make losses. But with patience he gains more control over his emotions and control his quest for greed which has been the killer bean for most traders. Op I appreciate your thoughts it's very much inspiring we need quotes like this from time to time to encourage traders who are thinking of quitting because the are unable to make profit
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need beginner guide in gambling. on: July 31, 2021, 07:40:37 AM
Could there be any academy for gamblers online? I'm still in doubt if such exist. But if there is any like that I will love to partake from the knowledge as well. All I was thought about gambling is that it's a game of luck we play for the fun of it and not as an  occupation or a get rich quick scheme. With realistic risk management one can always make good wins. Gambling isn't meant to be a source of livelyhood play for the fun of it
2354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: July 31, 2021, 07:29:34 AM
Physical casinos might not adopt the use of crypto currency because it will prompt the development of an online exchange. Crypto casino is more appreciated online, except the physical casinos would decide to have an online alternative for gamblers who would prefer funding with crypto currency because without an exchange it would be a bit complicated calculating a  game won and it's payout
2355  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bye Bye Bitcoin on: July 30, 2021, 06:53:34 AM
Fiat currency has government backing which involves the masses as well while crypto currency is sole dependent on it's investors what the next man is willing to offer. Since both parties involves people generally then it's really difficult for government to impose a ban on investors. The can only pose a treat whose effect will still depend on the reactions from the investors. News move the market but the manner to which people react to those news is what actually causes the spike so it's now on the investors to choose what fate lies for BITCOIN
2356  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it easier to HODL if you are already rich? on: July 30, 2021, 06:36:57 AM

For someone with letīs say, a net worth of 1M USD or more plus house, hodling 60k until they became 6M would have been not that much of an stress. Do you think it was easier to benefit economically from bitcoin if you were already a bit up in the ladder?
For someone with this networth hodling can't be a challenge because he/she is already having other source of income. Hodling is only difficult for an average investor who has little or no other alternative source of income. This is why the rich with good thinking only gets Richer, for an average investor to hodl for too long requires decipline and patience and most of the times challanges might tempt them into withdrawing
2357  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is stop loss and how it works on: July 30, 2021, 06:19:50 AM
Zero losses actually exist if you apply shift stop loss. You may ask how do I mean. Let me explain let's assume you entered a trade and you have started seeing profit and you still want to hold on to your position because your analysis is still in the direction of your profit you can shift your stop loss either to your entry point or above your entry point that way you will exit with a zero loss if the trade goes against you
2358  Economy / Economics / Re: knowledge and Capital which is Very important in Business or Investment? on: July 30, 2021, 06:14:59 AM
Knowledge is most important because it attracts capital. If one is knowledgeable about any kind of investment he/she might attract investors with huge capital in most cases most especially if such persons proves beyond reasonable doubt to be reliable and trustworthy. An individual with capital and lack the knowledge will end up running at consistent losses because such will have to learn the skill the hard way and will take longer time to master the acts of such investments.
2359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading needs consistent attention and full concentration on: July 30, 2021, 12:13:12 AM
Consistency is key to any profitable result. Trading comes with lots of market behaviors and it only takes a consistent trading to master a handful of this numerous market behaviors. A trader might take a trade from a good entry point but fear would make him close just too early due to retracement. Knowledge is lubricant that brings out the best of every trade but consistency improves on the knowledge
2360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It feel good to see Bitcoin going well on: July 30, 2021, 12:03:28 AM
We aren't certain if it's really a bullish run for now it's wiser for traders to trade with caution it could be a trap. For me I would withdraw at this point wait for another good entry point then buy and hodl again. I have to get enough confirmation before I can buy at this price it's really tempting and full of suspicion because the price has moved just too quick in just a few days
