1741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: January 11, 2022, 05:07:51 PM
I have lost all my capital to trading but still yet I feel the urge to trade more, I spent a huge capital to trade some new coins recently and was actively involved in spot trading. But recently I lost all my capital and I decided to give a break but now am feeling I should return back to trading.
My question is after the loss have you gone back to update your strategy or do you plan on approaching the market with the same analysis you used that made you lose your funds. Losing funds is part of the business but to balance your wallet you must have a consistent reading ability. Quiting trading is like giving up on a career. If you must return back to trading please do well to go back to your analysis and find out why it failed or check if you were greedy enough to cause the loss
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 10, 2022, 10:29:15 PM
Even the gambling industry they sing bet responsibly as their motto, every gambling should get the understanding that betting with money that cannot be afford to lose is nothing but greed. Greed is what makes one to use all what is available to gamble.

This is very true. However, we should be aware of this and if we have limited funds, we should plan them and not get carried away.
If our financial situation at some point is difficult, then we should not risk money in the casino. That is why we should decide how much we can spend on gambling in a given month.

If we don't limit the amount of money we will use to gamble, will only make us spend more money than the original plan. Because after all
gambling will make us addicted and we sometimes have difficulty controlling ourselves when gambling. But if we provide a certain budget
from the income we get for gambling, it can at least control ourselves to stop playing gambling if our budget runs out. But even that requires
a strong commitment, so that we use our money to gamble according to a predetermined budget.

Drawing out a budget and sticking to it no matter the urge that might emerge after losing the initial budget is just the key. Discipline and total self control helps a lot. If a gambler can afford to spend at least 20% of his general income on gambling the risk would be reduced to its minimal. seeing gambling as a fun venture and not a get quick scheme can save the day and prevent issues of bad addiction and sucidal thoughts
1743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leverage Trading on: January 10, 2022, 10:22:24 PM
Hello,
is there any difference between a trade with 5.000$ with 1x leverage and on the other hand 100$ with 50x leverage?
The only difference I see is the liquidation price of course. But is there any other differnce?
Thank you all, Frank
There is no difference at all both are obviously at the same risk proportion. Now if you look closely the liquidation price of both currency and the leverage choosed to trade both are almost of the same ratio meaning If the $5 trade uses 1x leverage because the account size is not capable of holding a trade for long it is bound to face a total wipe similarly to the $100 with 50x leverage because the account will open a single trade above the lot size it can carry
1744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Supercycle or Halving cycle still? on: January 10, 2022, 10:12:41 PM
A halving cycle is obviously expected but we can anticipate for a better bull run compared to the previous year. But for a market to remain valid it must have it's high demand season and it's high supply season which regulates the movement bod price above the previous highs or below it's previous lows or better still revolving around a certain price range. But definitely we can't expect a super cycle
1745  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is for everyone but not everyone will be for Bitcoin on: January 10, 2022, 10:05:41 PM
The best way to start is to start. Life is all about sacrifice and dedication. Most investors who made it through crypto currency actually started small and  made up their minds on whatever outcome the get as a result of their decision. Bitcoin is actually for everyone as you rightly said and it's obvious not everyone would embrace it at the tail end because most people still choose to see life from a very myopic angle. The goal for now is to bring a handful of people into the crypto world and still educate the ones who are still in doubt hoping someday they too would embrace the change

1747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 08, 2022, 02:54:07 PM
Barcelona have a tough match ahead maybe but they need to win to keep a good form. I know that they are still in the recovery phase and building a brand new team in the leadership of Xavi. And they might not manage to end the season at one of top four positions also. But they can still do their best by focusing on each game completely. And in case they fail in ending in top four, they would need to win the Europa League to join the Champions League groups directly.
Barcelona might never get to the top of the league this season it's just too obvious and as the keep striving to makeup for all the poor performances the have had this season as you rightly said paying keen attention to their future matches for today the will playing against Granada and on the 12th against Real Maldrid spending more time on their training might give them edge
1748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: January 08, 2022, 02:46:07 PM
Bitcoin continues to decline for now all I can say about Bitcoin price is that it's more difficult to predict the next move but if it eventually hits $30k support zone I won't be in anyway surprised. All I should be more concerned about now is how to gather more capital to take good advantage of the dip because it would be sad to miss out on this opportunity
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin upgraded my financial life on: January 08, 2022, 02:40:29 PM
Yes of course Bitcoin has improved my life a lot. If it weren't for cryptocurrency, my life would be a lot harder today.Having this cryptocurrency, I am doing much better inshaAllah. I have been working on Bitcoin for about four to five years I have made a lot of profit from here. I do not currently have a job. I am running this big query and running all the expenses including me and my family. But I want to do something better in the future from here.
One thing crypto currency has helped me achieve over the years is been self independent and has helped me to understand that a world of digital awareness actually exist where funds are been transferred on a decentralized network devoid of a third party in a well secured and self managed database system. Bitcoin could just be seen to an extent as the digital existence of humans
1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the Ponzi Narrative on: January 07, 2022, 10:48:20 PM

What is the best argument against the Ponzi scheme narrative?

In what ways are Ponzi schemes different from bitcoin?

How do they generate value differently?

Educating the masses would help clearify the issue of Bitcoin seen as ponzi. Many people have been a victim of ponzi schemes and most of them now generalize any online investment or opportunity as ponzi. But educating the masses can throw some enlightenment and clear the notion off. Ponzi is very different from ponzi in the sense that Bitcoin is completely decentralized and once a fraction is purchased either through a p2p network or throw any other means it remains in your wallet giving the buyer complete possession of the coin. In the area of ponzi the investor is investing in a project that isn't self explanatory. The attractive attributes is the promise to double the investment by an attractive percentage and most investors fall for that
1751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep calm and buy the dip. on: January 07, 2022, 10:24:55 PM
This is sweet time to get back at the market to recover from some opportunities missed in previous times. Retesting $40k is a clear picture that if the price doesn't fall below $40k we should be heading for the moon in not long a time. Many would sell off out of panic but it's more wiser to buy more now and wait for the new bull run. If the price could even fall below $40k I would be happier to buy even more and more
1752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I know legit and scam investment? on: January 07, 2022, 10:16:52 PM
I have come to realize that most of the real investment do look like scam. meanwhile the scam looks like the real once,50 percent of us  here have been scammed in one way or the other, But still yet we call ourselves good investors meanwhile we are investing into the wrong company. We really need to know the good and real trading company because they are all like the scam.Do you really know the difference?
You have a point most scam investment looks real and vice versa but you can adopt a simple trick to avoid been scammed. Scam investment usually have this persuasive marketing strategy and most of which have no economic use and value. If one must consider a legit investment first thing is to study the vision behind the projects and secondly how reliable the hypers are including the market capitalization of such projects I guess this few might serve as guide
1753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is unsettling, for those who don't have it on: January 07, 2022, 10:10:06 PM
I call this the disease of the primitive age. Many still believe things are meant to be done the way the were thought while the were growing up. Many still believe to make  it in life you must undergo regorous and stressful task. Many still believe money must have a physical representation and all this has been the few reasons why adopting Bitcoin is somehow a big task for them. All we owe them is keeping spreading the dividend with time all will come to embrace the new technology
1754  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC: is it really bearish? on: January 07, 2022, 10:02:26 PM
If you look closely at your chat @op you find out the market is in a rising triangle moving In a range form. The market might be bearish but not as if it's a bear market. A major break out will  give  a clear picture of  the market structure for now it's a range market meaning price is revolving around $46k+ we should patiently wait for a break out to decide if the market is bearish
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 06, 2022, 09:49:23 PM
Manchester United is a disaster they are competing with themselves to see if they improve anything, I doubt that in this rhythm they can be in the top 4 knowing that there are still teams like wolves, leicester that don't give up easily and that can still recover, they still have Arsenal and Tottenham so Manchester United doesn't stand a chance

Its not going to be the first time that this happened so be it. Most people are expecting the team to keep on winning or atleast show some improvement but they havent, they even lose the last game against Wolves which was pathetic but the race for top 4 this season is pretty much still ongoing because as of now I honestly dont think any other team aside from City have secured it
Chances of Manchester united getting on the top 4 seems very slim and impossible as the league keeps progressing. So far I only see Arsenal and Tottenham contesting for who stands on the forth position on the table as Manchester city keeps topping the league with points far above Chelsea and Liverpool. I just which there was a possible improvement for Manchester united
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 06, 2022, 09:35:59 PM
Yes indeed owning 0.01btc can make you a millionaire if you can be patient enough to hold on to your coin following the high volatility rate of Bitcoin and how much investors are trooping into Bitcoin causing a high demand in the crypto asset. Achieving this with 0.01btc would determine how patience and discipline you can have when it comes to investment
1757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor and bitcoin on: January 06, 2022, 09:11:01 PM
Most of Micheal saylors videos are self explanatory and could serve as good guide to explaining Bitcoin to newbies. So far Michael saylors has remained positive on Bitcoin over a long time and his videos could serve as good analysis for explaining Bitcoin and it's technology to one who hasn't heard about Bitcoin before
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Average gainer gambler on: January 06, 2022, 08:48:27 PM
Gambling generally has two options it's either you win or you lose. If everyone wins regularly there will be no way to pay everyone so the funds used to pay the winners are accumulation of what the losers have gambled over time. One thing we can always point out to is that casinos are actually out for business and the take advantage of gamblers emotions and greed. But in all there are gainers but the percentage is below average
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 05, 2022, 09:25:34 PM
Why do I feel like this game is gonna end a full time draw ?!
I hope this doesn't turns out to be that way.
Early leads from the blue's, Haveskt and An kwn goal.
It's halftime and the score is two Zero, Antonio Conte facing familiar faces.
Spurs first shot on target came in at the 50' and it's far above 72' minutes and we are yet to get a goal from spurs. Although Chelsea's performance is not quite impressive but the possibility of getting a draw is very slim. The early goal saved the day for Chelsea. Antonio conte did what he could although Tuchel might not be much impressed but there was victory in any way.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 05, 2022, 08:55:35 PM
Barcelona are losing to some team called Linares in the Copa del Rey right now.  Grin  It is a 1/16-finals match and there is no rematch for this one seemingly. I think that Barcelona should care about this tournament too. They are already going on terrible in European tournaments as we see them in the Europa League from now on. And they are newly recovering in the La Liga. At least, they can fight for winning the Copa del Rey title.
63 minutes in the game was passed before seeing Barcelona getting a draw against a third division or I don't know what it is called team. What an achievement we have there Roll Eyes
We will see a collapse of the other team now?

Linares Deportivo advanced to the Round of 32 by eliminating Alaves in the second round match.  In this game, it seemed like the dream continued.  They took the lead with Hugo Dias in the 19th minute.  In the second half, Barcelona did not give Linares an opportunity with his effective game.  Although Barcelona was very effective, they could only win 2-1. Thus, the Catalan team made it to the Round of 16 without any surprises.  In the Spanish King's Cup matches, there will be an Alcoyano-Real Madrid match soon.  Real Madrid will most likely win comfortably.
In the end, Barcelona managed to win the Copa del Rey match against Linares Deportivo even though they had trailed 1-0 before two goals each scored by Ousmane Dembélé in the 63rd minute and an additional goal scored by Ferran Jutglà in the 69th minute to make Barcelona qualify for the next round, the score was not so good actually considering that Linares Deportivo is a third caste team from the Spanish League. But this match Barcelona played more second-tier players to give them enough playing minutes in the Copa Del Rey.
Although Barcelona was under strong pressure but I wouldn't call their victory against Linares as managed to win going by the counter attacks it was a well deserved victory. Both goals from O. Démbélé and Ferran Jutla. Linares were a almost undefeated at first but Barcelona were still able to maintain their counters and it payed off at the tail end
