1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a means to restore people's authority over money on: March 09, 2022, 04:14:20 PM
In 2022 Bitcoin has seen lots of massive adoption and the Ukraine invasion is just one of the numerous breakthroughs bitcoin has had in past decades folllowing the bitcoin donations from exchanges. Bitcoin has left the shackles of been refrained to just a store of value to it's original purpose of creation been for transaction on a peer to peer network. At the moment we still suffer a price fluctuaution but hopes are we might have a more stable bull run in future
1522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 09, 2022, 04:01:51 PM
Barcelona and Galatasaray will be one of the matches that are quite awaited in the opening leg 1 of the last 16 tomorrow, tomorrow's match in my opinion will be a fierce match especially since both teams are both aiming for a big win to secure their position in the second leg later, so far both teams have met 8 times, with 5 wins for Barcelona, Galatasaray managed 1 time win and 2 matches ended in a draw, from head to head it looks like Barcelona are the favorites to win, but Galatasaray also cannot be underestimated in the match later because often Galatasaray are able to surprise his opponents in a match.
If Barcelona can defeat Napoli then Galatasaray should be a walk over. we might agree both teams have equal zeal in their respective leagues but i think Xavi is more committed to winning the Europa. I predict Barcelona to win both legs against Galatasaray. Not to underestimate  Galatasaray but going by the late performance of FC Barcelona
1523  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I need help on How to easily Generate Public key from private key. on: March 09, 2022, 03:25:32 PM
There are many cryptographic curves but bitcoin uses Secp256k1 for it's ownhashing cryptography. This alphanumeric keys collectively forms a cryptographic curve. To get an elliptic curve for public key cryptography some parameters are well defined:
  • We define the two axis a and b of the curve Y2=x3+ax+b
    • We also define the prime of the finite field p
      • The x and y co-ordinate too of the generator point G is defined
      • Lastly we specify the order of the group, generated by G,n
      with all this defined the parameter for Secp256k1 a=0 and b = 7 giving up a general formula of y2 = x3+7
With all this defined it is only with elliptic curve cryptography bitcoin public keys are generated from it's corresponding private key since the concept of finite fields and elliptic curves are incorporated.

1524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders - Never lie, be realistic. on: March 08, 2022, 11:37:26 AM
Day trading is capital intensive while scalping is based on the level of greed control no matter the capital. Day traders might have a good analysis but most times retracement could trigger stop loss or blow than a trading account with a small capital. While scalping takes advantage of immediate volatility one can make profit both ways it all boils down to discipline
1525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 08, 2022, 11:30:55 AM
I think that Tottenham really needed this kind of a victory in the league. Because they had a really inconsistent performance in the recent times. They needed to pull themselves together again. And this result of the Everton game must be very helpful for that. Tottenham completely demolished their opponent by 5-0 in a home game. I was waiting for them to win but this was really huge. Harry Kane continued to score in this game also and he had two goals this time. He scored nine of his ten goals in the league so far after Conte started as the new manager. He is doing great for now.
Many people have been expecting Tottenham to be consistent in winning matches but they refused to be, when we are expecting them to win the will draw or loss but when we are expecting them to loss they will win. This time around they are doing well under the new coach. Under the new coach Harry Kane is doing well. This one should show us that coaches have great influence in players. Under other coaches he was not doing well. Can Tottenham enter top 4?
Both Kanes scored M. Keane(OG) and H. Kane  Grin. It's like wake up from a very dip sleep for Tottenham to be sincere their performance lately has been so impressive and I won't be surprised seeing them in the top 4 position. United might likely drop to 7th position because their next match against Tottenham will be their biggest fall after losing out to Manchester city in a 4-1 Deby.
1526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 08, 2022, 11:03:31 AM
Milan's victory over Napoli was beyond the expectations of many parties.especially as Napoli played at their own home, while AC Milan often appeared less convincing.but Olivier Giroud's goal in the 49th minute made everything change, where AC Milan survived more aggressive attacks.by Napoli so that AC Milan defended more than attacked after winning by 1 goal, but Milan had the advantage through a deadly counter-attack even though they could not increase their goal coffers.with this victory Milan successfully took over the top of the standings from Inter Milan
Milan success in defeating Napoli in a match that was quite crucial for both teams was certainly greeted with joy by the Milan club and fans, even though they won with a score of 0:1 but in the end, Milan succeeded in capturing the top of the Italian league standings and making Napoli drop to second place temporarily.
The match It was really quite thrilling because after the 0:1 win, Milan preferred to defend and they looked very pressured by the attack by the Napoli players to equalize the score until the last minute of the match.
They top Milan was able to capture after the narrow 0:1 defeat was very crucial as Milan needed to occupy the top of the league at least as a compensation for the season. But the overall performance of Milan was too poor despite the win . Napoli hadmore control of the game and were more like a big threat all through the match
1527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBAY might accept BITCOIN on: March 08, 2022, 10:49:12 AM
They are more concerned about the NFT space although still considering other crypto currencies but it's a game of possibility not a certainty.
Quote
In an interview with CNBC, Chief Executive Officer Jamie Iannone said that accepting virtual currency was an option the company was looking at.

EBay, which disappointed investors with a weak second-quarter profit forecast last week, said it was looking at a "number of ways" to get into the NFT space.
But if it can be considered it will be a big boast on the crypto industry. So far we have had other big investments like Tesla and many others who have crypto payment options making the adoption even more swift and payment gate diversified not just restricted to fiat any longer link
1528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope Vs Realty of bitcoin on: March 07, 2022, 02:57:55 PM
In reality Bitcoin moves in a parabolic and declining manner and which direction the market takes is dependent on the weight of the last investor based on capital intense. From all i have learnt from the market no move lasts for too long so instead of a total hodl i prefer a sell at interval so that if opportunity knocks for  a dip more can actually be bought. Because even the current dip might not be satisfactory enough to the market anything at the moment is obtainable
1529  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Many projects won't matter in four years time on: March 07, 2022, 02:47:09 PM
Many coin are solely developed for the pump and dump arithmetic. For some projects driven by hype it's just best to join at it's early stages take the profit available and take a bow. Of  a truth most projects will completely go into extinction in few years so joining the early birds and evacuating with the slightest profit is best option in trading with hype driven project. Researching can tell a whole lot about a project and how long it has stayed in the market along side it's purpose and reason for it's hike
1530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 07, 2022, 02:37:12 PM
I think 13 points gap from OGC Nice looks safety for PSG keep stay on 1st standing position and have chance as the champion of Ligue 1, maybe against with OGC Nice last week not as important match for PSG because they have waiting by Real Madrid on 2nd leg champion league where this competition as important decision for PSG to get trophy, beside Ligue 1 keep as their target to be winner but I think PSG really want to know how they can get champion league trophy for the first time.
It is a big difference and safe enough for PSG to relax a little bit. They have more important task in Champions League with Real Madrid are waiting in Bernabeu. PSG won in the first leg with a superb late goal from Mbappe but Real Madrid will be more attacking aggressively and more dangerously in the second leg. Especially the second leg match will be hold at Bernabeu, their home stadium.

Ligue 1 is almost reserved for PSG with that difference and it will be a very big shock if PSG can not win it.
13 points gap is actually huge for PSG but it's still enough reason to relax. It's best the keep to their regular winning to avoid narrowing their points making the chances of Nice to get closer possible. For PSG game against Real Maldrid i think their first leg has given a clear picture of what the second will look like. Real Maldrid  Had no attempt in the first leg meaning the second leg will be as good as a walkover with or without Mbappe
1531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 07, 2022, 02:27:16 PM
How much suffering United fans must endure until the board changes the coach ? It's clearly that Man United team don't want him any longer and we can clearly see that the coach itself doesn't  want to be on United anymore but what can he do ? He must stay until summer...and players should find a way to communicate with him. Anyway, I don't understand why Cr7 didn't want to play on this derby...I mean it's super frustrating for any player to play against City and run after the ball for 90 minutes so I understand his point of view.
These few seasons have been bad seasons for Manchester United, no team wants this slump. Manchester United have tried to change coaches, but that can't make them better. They also signed a player with a star label, it also did not make a change for the better. They must quickly improve again, starting from the internal team or other factors that made them slump like now.
Ronaldo's refusal to play at the derby looks so unprofessional. If he had entered in the early hours of the second half chances are he would have helped co-ordinate the team from the defense line to midfield . Sancho was able to get an equalizing goal at the first half before the second goal from De Bruyne. If Ronaldo had come in chances are it might have ended in a draw as usual. Manchester city took good advantage of his absence and messed the deby up for united
1532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 07, 2022, 02:18:43 PM
Manchester City are the most comfortable now, how not, they already have a 5 goal advantage which they created in the first meeting. And Sporting I see it's difficult to turn things around, even though Manchester City didn't play as impressive a game as in the first meeting, Sporting still won't be able to beat Manchester City. Yes Manchester City can now be more flexible to rotate their players.
Manchester City are too superior for Sporting, they currently have a very complete squad and of course they deserve to go all the way to the Final.  I believe this year Pep Guardiola will win the Champions League title for the first time for Manchester City.

I won't agree that manchester city are superior i feel they just have confidence in their style of play and this has been Pep  Guardiola secret althrough his coaching career, He is good in making his players believe they are the best. Sporting isn't a tough team for Man city that doesn't make them the best anyways but the stand better chance of winning the champions league if the keep the pace
1533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: March 06, 2022, 03:35:16 PM
Watford vs Arsenal match is just being dramatic and entertaining. Right from the start of the match till now that Arsenal is leading with 2goals to 1, the game has not been dull. The inflow of goals is much in this first half, this means that there will be much goals in this match.
Meanwhile, Manchester United hope of top 4 is running down and becoming obvious that the top 4 does not belong to them. Who knows it can be theirs if they beat Manchester City.
The Arsenal side are playing very well because they really need the 3 points in order to keep their Champions League hope alive.
I am expecting many goals in the match, I hope Lacazate will score too.
If Manchester fails to win against Manchester city it would be difficult to catch up with Arsenal again on the league because Arsenal might likely keep up the points on every match henceforth as Manchester still poses this inconsistency in their performance. I think this derby means a whole lot to Manchester united. But can Ragnick do any magic to salvage this?
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usdt are safeheaven to avoid volatility and goverment restrictions on: March 06, 2022, 01:32:53 PM
Outside the guard against volatility there is no security/privacy guaranteed with usdt most especially Tether as it is attached to the regular fiat currency meaning it's backed by it's equivalent value in USD. This brings us to fact that no crypto asset is 100% satisfactory it's either you go by the volatility or you go by the regulations
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Centralised Exchanges are the Biggest Enemies of Bitcoin on: March 06, 2022, 01:20:31 PM
First you said Bitcoin is freedom, but the last line you forcing someone to stop using centralized exchanges? this is not 100% freedom. Let alone people to choose which exchanges they use, it's either centralized exchanges, custodial P2P exchanges, or fully decentralized exchanges. There must be a reason why they choose to using any exchanges and the most users prefer to using centralized exchanges. This means they don't care with their privacy concern and their funds partially got controlled by the exchanges.
Which exchange to use is a clearly everyone's choice from what I understand about @ op post. Bitcoin is total freedom only with DEX but centralized exchange is a big treat. It is alarming with the rate at which centralized exchange choke their clients with KYC that are irrelevant atimes. If it was limited to just email address and phone numbers it's would have been a bit fair but it goes all the way to getting identity cards and international passport
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 06, 2022, 12:02:17 PM
Bayern - Bayer 1-1
Bayern scored all the goals, and even Müller scored a goal instead of the on-duty scoring pass. But unfortunately he did it into his own gate  Grin
A very sad result for those who love multi bets (personally I lost two because of this result), but we can say that the result was logical - Bayern had no motivation to strain before an important game in the Champions League.
I also placed my bet for a win at Bayern Munich against Leverkusen but i am not mad at the result as i love it when Munich dont win.
Makes the race for title more interesting again and its a chance for Dortmund to catch up.
Leverkusen got a few chances also to score more goals i have seen in the review as i dont have seen the whole game.

I am also calm. This time I made too huge multibets and I am sure that this is not the only result that will break them. And I also like it when Bayern loses in the domestic championship, although in the Champions League I am more for it (in relation to most teams, but not in relation to all, for example, Real and United I appreciate more).
I am so comfortable with the match result at least it has shown a little competition but it won't still change the fact Bayern is leaving with the trophy this season but atleast it won't just be by having all wins all through the season. Multi bets players will have it hard yesterday except for those you predicted both teams to score

1538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 05, 2022, 09:17:24 AM
No strategy is 100% efficient in as much as the goal is to make profit losses are inevitable so to maintain a clean trading habit once a trade goes some pips above a buying trade or pips below a selling trade emotions and greed should be avoided. Take the little profit available with hope to make more profits some other day. The market is always open for profit but greed can kill even in a profitable trade.

If they strategy works decipline should always be the watch word to keep the profit margin greater than losses. No business survives with constant loss

Civil servants are been conditioned to live at the mercy of their paychecks and salaries. In this time and age digital skills or best self development could be the only remedy because this salaries are not matching up with the inflation rate in the society keeping an average civil servant who depends solely on their job to live below their income so as to meet up with their daily expense. We already in that era where public sectors are gradually deteriorating and been replaced by skilled and self employed experts
