+1000 spartak_t for NOT making it like all the other coin devs!
I'm very excited how this turns out.
Hello, Thanks for your understanding and support in what we believe. Cheers, Spartak

If that was the case, every shitcoin would have a million dollar market cap.
No. In this case Litecoin has $56M market cap.

I really understand and appreciate your concerns about not revealing your toughts in public, but things lately are going out of hands and some actions should be taken. P.S. (shakehand) - you seem like a good guy. High Tech development without market adoption is just as worthless as rubble...
Welcome to the world of marketing, where everything is backwards.
There is always a market to be found for seemingly useless products...
You should all read very carefully what Orestes said. This is so true. Masternodes (or whatever) will not sell 8bit, marketing will.

Everything up until now works. If we can add value through marketing then we can bypass the dev issue for a while. Once value is there a situation can form through a healthy dynamic, instead of this helpless situation.
Dev can be appointed, new coin, fork, coin swap. I don't know all the trick that could be pulled. Important is that it is hard to find someone to pick up a turd. Sure TradeMaster has presented himself, but who can judge his commitment? No offense, to Trademaster, but if there is a priori value, a new p&d scheme to me would be less likely.
Just my 2 cents.
This is very wrong approach imho. How can you promote a coin if you don't know a way fixing it in case something happens? I can assure you that finding a good developer is not very easy and this should be your first step as community. P.S. I'm still not saying that the original dev disappeared... time will tell.

Folks, it is high time to think about takeover. It is best to do it as soon as possible, not to share the fate of CyberCoin. I am pretty much sure this Dev is the same Dev as the one of CyberCoin (I posted some thoughts about this on CC thread couple of days back.., didn't want to post it here, not to scare the Dev, and not to make him run sooner than he otherwise would..).
This scammer is creating coins with specs specially attractive to create high mining interest, then does some work, then disappear. His coins typically have a lot of noise, then fade off. Not sure why he does that, as it is not clear if he makes a lot of profit on this, probably he does, but it is not so obvious as there is no specific "dump" action.
If there is a potential Dev for takeover, its better to find him now, before the price went to 1 sat like CC. This is not FUD, this is my honest opinion.
Don't you think that you helped him without at least warn other people? Or you were hoping to make your ROI and then to share your thoughts? If someone has any doubts that some "project" is a scam, he should immediately warn the others. It is the dev's work to prove him wrong by delivering. P.S. I don't want to offend you in any way... this is just my thoughts. P.S.2. While I'm not still 100% that the dev disappeared, I do find the situation a bit suspicious. I hope everything will sort out for you guys.

So many technical indicators are volume dependent, and are useless in the face of low volume. Other indicators mean one thing if volume is high and another if volume is low, but once again, are useless if low volume is the norm. Not only do most of these people ignore volume, they usually ignore other indicators and only show the patterns that support their position. In my opinion, TA is useless for most coins because of low volume. On the small percentage of coins that have good volume, you should do your own TA and not rely on what you see from others.
This is most likely accurate. Most markets are too easily moved by one person to trust TA. +2 I'll add that if it works, it is mostly on established coins. P.S. Oh... dat JSupreme.. what a troll...

Both Craptsy and Shitrex are Shitcoin/Scammer trade websides so naturally try to avoid honest graphs.
Don't trade over there.
Then where you can trade?

Now, if you are saying Bitcoin isn't that anonymous, and more anonymous coins can be singled out for regulation or legality, I'd content that as long as they give you the ability to show authorities your transaction history for legal or tax purposes, then you would be keeping with the law and no distinction could be made between a coin with a transparent ledger than one with a opaque ledger. Monero does this with a viewkey as I'm sure any of the cryptonight coins could also.
Did i interpret your meaning clearly?
^ This. As long as things are transparent, I think there will be no issues. Problem is that cryptocurrencies must be developed to be adopted more widely, rather than focus on that notorious anonymity for which so many people are eager about. If we look on cryptocurrencies as money, then you can't just think you can do whatever you want without expecting some consequences.

You can find some good offers for A2 Terminator's (I have 7 x 60MH and they work great!) on ebay, but I will not advice you to buy one. Currently mining is not profitable.

They can ban exchanges. But 'mining'? What do they care if I use my hardware for mining. It's none of their business.
Mining what? Some cryptocurrency just for fun? Seems like serious things are probably about to happen, so the question now is not if we will be free to mine whatever we can, but if cryptocurrencies will exist in the way they are now.
|
|
|
Yeah. Especially if it's POW. Can't be shutdown.
It can be effectively shutdown. Just make mining, holding, buying, selling, accepting, and exchanging it illegal. +1 PoW, PoS or whatever, they will be after it.

I'm kinda smiling, but guess what might happen with so called "anonymous" coins.
You mean POW coins with anonymous devs? FINCEN will surely have a handful with those. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) No, I mean those who are trying to be "anonymous". How do you think authorities will feel about some cryptocurrency, which tries to hide transactions and such? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

you are talking about this? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1054247.msg11327383#msg11327383first have a look at user's negative trust, he was trying to sell his account on 8th may I posted that post after he tried to sell his account, and IMO there was nothing wrong to post this after he was attempted to sell his account then how you can say that he was going to repay from signature payment when he was selling his account I did and I meant that raised doubts are just more reasons for the "guy" to disappear. He/she may repay the loan and then try to take as much BTC as he/she can. Otherwise - I feel you. I hope that this will end good for both sides.

Anon coins are just an excuse for pump and dump schemes. Period.
HAHAHA you do not even understand the reason crypto currencies were created do you? fuck me dead.. to escape the collapsing fiat system, that was the purpose of BTC this will only work with a annon coin, BTC failed but laid the path for others. It seems that you are the one who does not understand how this will "work" in the first place. There are plenty of ways to keep your identity in secret with any some of the coins out there. If you think that some months or years from now you will start waving your "thing", bragging that your coins are untraceable, then think again. This is only one more reason for authorities to be more harsh with cryptocurrencies. Nothing more! But some of those ways are much, much better than other ways and that is the point. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I will ask you again if authorities start seeing this as a way of "printing" money and use them for suspicious endeavours.

Guys, I am recently following this section of the forum and of course - this thread. IMHO concerns of Neotox should come before giving the loan, not after Vod gave a "signal" that this is probably a scam. Now the result is: 1. He/she who received the loan have lost the chance to earn some BTC (from some campaign), which he/she was supposed to use to repay the loan. 2. Many doubts from different users started to appear. My opinion is that despite the fact that he/she is most likely a scammer, Neotox shouldn't do this. This is a 3rd party agreement and I don't think it has anything to do with the loan here, even if Operatr's intentions were to scam both sides. Terms of the loan are amount BTC, no collateral and term until 15.05.. There are still 5 days left and I think it's better to wait until term is reached, than raising more doubts.
