I just tried to move 35k ERC from bittrex to local wallet & the trans ID trex provided does not appear on blockchain  edit: Deposit just arrived...meh, slow i guess Fork update? I forgot to say a word about your transaction, though i feel also, a more modern engine to move chain, (and thats what our current new release is about in the first place) has been unavoidable, to scale, i experienced withdraws slowing down on Bittrex in general (even more with bitcoin). They may be doing something on their network. But i anyway, i would like to know how long you waited. (if you still remember) I use to write down experiences like that, because sometimes those "snippets" help, to see things, BEFORE problems happen. Thank you. Matthias P.S. We are on a point where we have a small but unbreakable Community, a nice volume on two exchanges,
the luxury of enough resources to build and innovate for years to come. So the next key asset is TRUST of those,
who are not in yet. We will reach them everywhere, except here, in our Forum, because if they would have been reading it,
they would be already in. Eight out of ten Europecoin supporters are well known and experienced crypto experts ( yes, because they know )
If every one does the same and associates with us, the result will surpass our imagination.
and now something different:
There is an interesting aspect coming with our hardfork, A tiny side effect with huge potential; From witnessing ERC accidentally getting burned
and from people telling their story, i counted more then 15 000 000 ERC, that have been lost, deleted and burned for ever in various ways.
A lot happened during the 6 month of ERC being dead and also many coins did not have been withdrawn from closing or delisting exchanges.
I myself lost over 1 500 000 by a bad backup after a hard-drive failure. I even assume, the unknown losses are even higher ,
but sadly we can't prove or check these assumption in any way. This is about to change!! After the swap and after having burned remaining coins,
we will know exactly, how many coins are still in circulation. The outcome may radically change some evaluations, about ERC's value value and supply.
... and because things are currently happening faster, then i could even post,

Ey Placebo, if you still want to make a good job and a better (longterm) Coinmanagement, but you don't have an idea for a solution, better then selftrading, THIS is the key moment that shows an ever returning pattern and this moment decides nearly everything. What to do? Why are you collecting a community and then try to succeed by playing "a one man show is fighting for its coin, by going gambling" These people here have an interest to have this coin going up and then .... moon. They have exactly the same interest, as you have. If your Ideas or Time or power or money have been used up, talk with your people and ask them to engage. Ask them not only to engage with ideas, to keep you busy and running, but get them into the boat by sharing some tasks and by doing some work and later by sharing some results and rewards and so on. The key is, to get each other involved as a result feel as a part of the project/Coin/goal/Familiy/whatever Its so much more powerful, its a team issue and i know you can do it. You showed it in the first times of ROS and you surprised me. But it is normal, that nobody can run a coin as a one man show, for a longer time and the ability to do so gets less and less on every fail. Make yourself and your people aware, that this coin isn't owned by any person anyway. i wish you luck for everybody here go for it Matthias  .

It didn't want to compile for two days and today morning i found It.
It was a variable in libleveldb.a, that turned out, not to play nicely with my processors architecture.
Nice, it did make problems on my machine instead of the users machines on launch :-) .
Given, that everything else is done, tested, working and everybody else in our team is
JUST WAITING FOR ME ...LOL I have hope for launching very soon.
... new estimated takeoff: Rocket should be ready to start Saturday/Sunday. I will have to mine 2000 Blocks and then we are ready to go.

Thanks a bunch, notsofast, really appreciate it. Making a new website from scratch isn't that easy, as many people might think. You are very active. Thats great to see.  We'll try to be more active. Yes that would be nice, it isn't a problem to focus on something else for a certain period, but on the same time, its not THAT hard, during that time, to sit down and spend 15 minutes a day, thinking about your coin. This is not only more polite, but even better for you, because it is much harder to grow from a declined position later, then keeping a certain fresh-hold. I see you are building a great exchange, but in the meantime, you have the opportunity to train some of the user centric attitudes, you claimed and everything will turn out, to be fine for everyone. ;-) deal? still in Matthias :-) . |

Pls do explain what you mean with "mining"? Are you alone mining the new coin? Will the total supply match the current?
if they go for a swap they need the same amount of coins in new chain as in old chain if the dont for a single premine block they just set the POW mining phase to a timeframe that create the needed coins mining them alone private not as a premine for themself but to generate the coins needed to allow people swap their ERCold against ERCnew i dont know enought about the details but that is how it looks to me they try to handle this more insight by dev provided information welcome avoid a premine block is good plan u know coinmarketcap flag premine coins a 1:1 coin swap is in my opinion no premine in the sence that dev team keep a share of mining for them if 100% is dedicated to swap it sounds clean to me we from DMD Diamond had multiple changes in our history and we did always keep the old blockchain i can tell ya this is for sure not the easy path and u keep limitations because of combatibility with old parts of blockchain in wallet under some conditions a coin swap and a clear fresh chain can have big advantages
I wouldn't premine our coin, but forget about premine or IPO-Star , we have both of them (inherited from the scamdev, that founded ERC). I spent the whole last week, writing letters to most of the coin-chart, analytics and consulting sites, to provide updated informations, Graphics, links and press materials. I found it somhow amusing how many sites offer crypto investing advise to customers while not discovering that something about their listed coins changed .... NEARLY A YEAR AGO real experts :-), good to know that we can count on some passioned fellows, that provide better services.
Back to Europecoin Fork. I have a small meeting in about an hour with meta and staisy to let him educate us about the technical part of our process and then you are the first ones to get a report, before i'll storm the ERC-node-admin, the exchanges and organize a working blockexplorer (which is important, to have , BEFORE taking action, for transparency reasons) though i don't know, if it is a classic swap, the only option, how to deal coins, if some would turn out, to be left over, is of course to BURN them as public as possible.

Why shouting? Because i am feeling like 1 1/2 Years ago, when setting up my RIG, to mine my first own Europecoins, does anyone remeber?
No Altcoin has had a stranger story like this one. NOW our wallet is done, there is not much left from the one, we picked up nearly a year ago.

that this is a complete fork with a new chain and updated our partners and exchanges a 100% different techologie.
Therefor you will have to wait a few days, till we mined the new chain, mining it makes me feel like ....
Can hardly wait to put this out, don't know how long such a process normaly takes, but Staisy will bring me up-to-date
during the next few hours and then i will report again.
Also i know there are questions like is there a swap? How does it work?
I will (like i did all the time) take care that everyone will get the right information at the right time, promised.
Timeframe: I don't want to have to say to anyone, sorry, you are to late, to swap.
So i will now work as hard as i can, to plan the event as convenient as possible for you.

When we are talking about "trusted member" we don't mean "big investor".
Of course you have the same privileges as a small investor, like anybody else.
Even more: A trusted member should have great respect and should feel responsible for their well being,
because we all one day had somebody, that felt responsible, to care about our well being.
Nobody, not even wales, can thrive on their own. (and i am far from even being a wale myself, goldfish perhaps  lol)
But a "trusted member" is meant, to be a person, who earned a reputation, as a character, who's actions have been showing integrity towards other users and did that over a long periode of time.
And has proven to be honest. It hasn't to do anything with his wealth, even not with his trust rank, (there are existing many rich hero member asholes around). And its not een an achivement,
it has just to do with time and actions over that time, nothing to feel special about at all. In Germany we call that "Rückrad" ;-) A 22 coin owning user is a more brave investor as any of us,
and did possibly risk a much higher percentage of his money then others.

I don't know that I am convinced by the "paid" argument, on these boards "paid" is the same as "shill". Even "sponsored" is a bit of a mis-step. Alt coins need a community to survive, and I feel you are on the right path in generating that, but paying people to recommend a coin has a slight whiff of being not-quite-right. People need to come to FLY because THEY BELIEVE in the coin, paying advocates to promote raises questions as to the motivation of these people and sours the message somewhat. Just my tuppence worth
on one hand your argument sounds reasonable, but nearly every coin did it in some way (signature campains, bountys for tweets and so on). This in fact may not be an excuse, but in contrast to a signature campaign, where every newbe jumps in, i believe, that trusted member accounts would never risk theire hard earned reputation for a crap coin. (I wouldn't) Also i assume, that its an open process (already) and not a hidden agreement to fake interest. So i think even if you put out a little award for engaging (engagement is so hard foster), their words will be highly probably a honest opinion. The reward should not be to high, to not attract members, to sell their reputation and i would require them to agree in getting listed in kind of "List of Mentors".

its great if u able to get rid of such a big unstable owner in the early phase
DMD did fight with that problem to have a similar mindset dude
who had like 4% of total coins untouched 600 days
then he minted 3% of total coins and sold all that 7% in a few days
ERC seems to be able recover as good as we did
but for ERC its much easyer because the $ amount we talking about is much smaller
as i said u lucky he cash out now and not in 2 years
exacly what I think, even more: to get compared with
such a shining, successful Coin like Diamond, gives always hope to my vision
I hope we will also get to that point one day,

it seems to be just one person (had 6.5 millions and has now 1.8 left)
and some paniking followups. Though i have currently no money to buy any,
I am very delighted, that we have great volume because of that event.
Given a 4,7 million coins dump, i feel ERC is standing and recovering very nice,
thats great to see and that will even build more trust in the long run
We are going up when he finished, like we did everytime, it will recover to 450-500 in ~10 days
Everybody who doesn't see a sure bet, should, for his own sake, do something different then crypto .... lol
