2361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade bitcoin? on: March 18, 2016, 03:01:21 PM
Hi guys just want to know how to trade im newbie about trading and i want to learn if how trading works..
Honestly i am trading some altcoin to bitcoins but im always lose really don't how trading works in yobit..
And how to know if what is the best altcoin to choose to have some profit?

the best altcoin is the one that you buy when its price is low and not at the top , in a big bubble.
the example that we can all refer to is ETH which is the biggest recent pump. buying at ~0.03 would have been the big mistake that i was talking about. you should have bought when it was 0.001 and lower and sold at 0.03 and never looked back.
2362  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: March 18, 2016, 02:58:07 PM
Its good to make an investment now. But you have to be careful because the value will rise soon and otherwise you will lose some money.
And that will be not good.So be fast. Otherwise you will be too late and that will be not good. We all think that the value will rise.

there are two questions in this topic, investing in money bitcoin and investing bitcoin itself.

bit the first i always say, it is an excellent investment either for short term (less than a year) or for a ling term investment of money (for five years) so buying at this point will lead to a good profit.

but for the second (investing bitcoin) sadly there are not many good options. most of investment plans are scamming people and use the bitcoin anonymity to their advantage. the only method remaining would be trading which is still risky but with lower risks in comparison.
2363  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1 million for 1 bitcoin.Here is how on: March 18, 2016, 02:50:09 PM
the oil rich countries that you are talking about even if they want to sell their oil through "backdoor selling" as you put it they have their own methods of getting the money in USD or EURO that they need for other stuff in their countries in other words they require those fiats not bitcoin so i don't see why they choose bitcoin instead.
2364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum - Stay out! on: March 17, 2016, 01:51:44 PM
Hello.
I am a newbie into this thing.
Is it the right time to buy ether? Can we expect the value to come down where it used to be?

No, it is not a good time to buy Ether IMO. It had a dramatic rise in price starting this January then a dump two days ago. Price is holding around .030 on Kraken.

Price may tread water around .030 for a while then one of two things will happen. Price will tank like the normal altcoin pump and dump or price will increase past the all time high made on 3/13. If Ether really has balls and a new ATH is made that is the time to buy on the breakout, but even then I would wait for a pullback. This coin needs to prove itself. There is no rush to buy.

If the Ethereum price stays around 0.025 for a few months and consolidate, it is good for the long term prrice  in the future.

i doubt if this can happen.
OP is pointing out a couple of very interesting facts in 8-2015

ETH has 60 Million coins premined and there is a lot of new coins being created everyday. the total available supply of ETH is already 5 times more that bitcoin.

i am not an expert but looking at other altcoins with massive supply shows that none of them can have high prices. just check coinmarketcap to see for yourselves.
2365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH DUMP IS ON HOLY SHIT on: March 17, 2016, 01:46:23 PM
i had some big buy orders set on a lower than market price the other day and i was planning on buying but after seeing how the market is acting i said to myself this is getting to risky to day-trade anymore so i canceled them before i went to sleep.

it was a good right after all, so much little profit made each day Cheesy
2366  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: March 17, 2016, 01:43:19 PM
Dont think it will rise that much, maybe 600$. Its pretty much stable now... A friend told me it could go as high as 3000$ in July but i dont believe its possible.

not sure who you friends are, but don't believe what they say. $3000 in juli is a big joke. we might be happy if we see the price reach $600-$700 before or after the halving this year.
Yes, reaching the price at $3000 is not that easy , we can hope for the price before halving upto $500 and after halving it may reach to $1000 but I think it is hard for it to reach $3000.

well, $3000 and even $5000 prices are possible for bitcoin. the potential is there but in order to get there we need more time and more usage. which is not going to happen (as his friend said) in July. it is going to take a couple of years.
this year we can expect around $1000 for bitcoin if the pump comes.
2367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: March 17, 2016, 01:39:24 PM
No, don't invest in a casino because it is a gambling, losing has a big chance on it rather than winning, I would discourage everybody to gamble.

Clearly.

this is the lowest thing a business like an exchanger can do IMO.

what's with the gambling if they are planning on running a professional place for traders to come and use their money to trade...

it is nice to play with some shitcoins that are worth 1 satoshi but doesn't look professional for the exchanger.
2368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake "Anonymity of Bitcoin" Urban Legend.(Terrible Things You Didn't Know About) on: March 17, 2016, 01:33:47 PM

If so 2 are the cases:
1. you dont want your privacy
2. you want privacy but you're stupid

Just check this forum on "Bitcoin is anonymous".
That people making scam Advertising on Bitcoin related services,
woh much they are? Hunderts of scamers.

if someone is advertising that bitcoin is anonymous that is either spreading FUD or he is not well informed.

but also it might be that when people say "Bitcoin is anonymous" on the forum it means pseudonymous.
2369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: March 17, 2016, 01:30:19 PM
gambling didn't have any major effect on my life!

i have just won some small amounts and lose some small amounts (bigger loss in total) but there was not effect on my life that i can mention.

maybe someday i hit a jackpot with my small bets and that changes my life but till then i stay hopeful.
2370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading places on: March 17, 2016, 01:24:57 PM
you just have to try bittrex, there I was happy to learn and play trading, so many choices altcoin that can be used for trading, but look at the volume of the coin, if a little, do not buy
So if the coin volume is too small a possibility that it will crashed out? now I know where to start this one helps me out to figure how alt can be traded and how it will works, I'll try this one I have some earnings from yobit might experiment and do small amount of trading. I hope OP already have positive ideas with regarding to his post good luck to you OP.

the problem with using Yobit is that the volume for all the coins are low. even the popular coins like LTC and DOGE have low volumes and the rest which are mostly unknown altcoins have near zero volume so you can't decide by looking at their volume on yobit!
2371  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: March 17, 2016, 01:19:46 PM
In a normal day your cash can be stolen to you by criminals that tends to take your cash.
But if you only have bitcoin in your pocket they wont notice that you have a lot of money in your pocket.

technically speaking bitcoin can be stolen too. the only difference is that fiat robbers use a bat or a gun but bitcoin robbers will use viruses and keyloggers to steal your coins.

the only way to prevent any the two is to learn how to protect yourself.
2372  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price for 2016 on: March 17, 2016, 01:15:53 PM
bitcoin price is for sure going to go up. and the main reason for this rise is the block reward halving which is getting closer every day. so all the speculations point to a rise, so i chose above $500 in the poll
2373  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could be a good short right now... on: March 17, 2016, 01:11:01 PM
https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/okcoin/btccny

Let's use BTC/CNY since we all know the current driver/s are trading that...

Just speculating based on its current run.  BTC/CNY is running of out of steam and could go back down anytime now.

yes it is really really nice moment to go short with bitcoins, price changed 4 times in last 24 hours and it changes by 10-15$ each time, so it is good moment to sell/buy them all day, also these price changes happens like 5 times in month, so if someone want's to win money because of that then it's good moment to start

You never know what the value will be and that is the problem. I hope that more people will use Bitcoin in the future.
And the most important thing is that it will be also more worth. But you never know what will happen.

that is the whole point of speculation!
you speculate what the price of bitcoin is going to be based on technical analysis and many other things. then you make a move according to your speculation.
2374  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which Wallet Do you Use ??? on: March 17, 2016, 01:04:52 PM
I am using blockchain.info from years and have no problem at all , i use it because its fast easy and reliable But from last beta update of blockchain.info i don't like that much becuase we cannot downgrade to stable version i get problems while sending multiple payments in one transaction.

don't upgrade to the beta version if you have large amounts of bitcoin there. it is scary to lose big amounts.
if you want to try it start a new wallet and upgrade that to beta version to try if there is new features there.

2376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12.90 on: March 16, 2016, 10:12:42 AM
kind of makes me think about all that reddit spam i was getting regarding eth.. wish i had read it now.. kinda Smiley

I thought about that spam too!  Does anyone have a copy?  It would be a good read right now.

they were all saying the same thing with different words. claiming that bitcoin is dead, doomed and doesn't have any developer team and at the same time saying ETH is the future replacement.

practically the same thing you can see here too, but that spam was both as reddit posts and PMs to reddit bitcoin users.
2377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHERUM will be 1st Crypto Currency..? on: March 16, 2016, 10:07:33 AM
i think it is too soon to say anything about the future of ETH, especially when comparing it to bitcoin. so let it keep this current market cap for a longer time and not a short couple of months then call it 1st.
2378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: March 16, 2016, 10:03:54 AM
It will go up, but I think, it cant reach 800$. Maybe, it can hit to 550$.

if it goes up the way it has been for the past six months then i agree with you. the price will hit $550-600 this year. but i think closer to summer time and the halving there will be a bigger rise which can essentially push the price up to $800 and more.
2379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still keep a fiat retirement account? on: March 16, 2016, 10:01:20 AM
If you are a true believer that be dollar and other fiats are doomed should you then cash out your fiat retirement account for btc, metals or real estate?

I have a Roth IRA with some money in it and I am debating on if I should liquidate that or keep contributing to it for the next 30 years.

i am a believer in bitcoin but i still keep a fiat retirement account because that is a sure thing while bitcoin is not 100% sure.
so i only invest my extra money that i don't need and willing to risk on bitcoin, and keep buying it until the price goes up.
2380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 16, 2016, 09:55:40 AM
He could upload it on bitfinex and use the free MarginBot to lend the USD out to traders. He would receive around 20% a year. At least it was that way some months ago.

The risk would be that bitfinex is an exchange and exchanges can go down.

Investments are always risky. You should think of them the way that you might get 100% in a year on top of your investment but when you start you lose 100% and the question is open if you will get your investment back at all.

That is a tremendous return rate, is this still occurring? I don't generally trust exchanges with my coins but with a return like that and knowing that finex has so far proven reliable, I might give it a go.

I'm not aware of any investment offering that. Though be happy about it. All of these ventures ended in scam, inept businessmans or other problems. Everyone invested did lose more than they won.

is this the margin funding feature of bitfinex you are talking about?

i did a little search and read about it, i think it is not a fixed interest rate but a changing rate that you can set as an offer which can be lower.

can anybody explain with some numbers how much is the potential of earning this way
