Not sure what you mean. One thing is for sure. The election has cancelled itself via Trump's executive order.

What do you do when there is no election? What do we do when the election has been caused to not exist?
A dictator.

One of Trump's biggest accomplishments is right here. This is possibly/probably the biggest accomplishment of Trump so far.

BOMBSHELL: The 2020 election took place under a Trump-declared “National Emergency” that set an Election Day trap for the “unauthorized accessing of election and campaign infrastructure”

We have another major bombshell for you here, regarding the 2020 election. Despite the intense, malicious censorship of Big Tech, we’re really becoming known for in-depth analysis and research of current events, so thank you for your support as we continue to fight for the very survival of America, our constitutional republic.

This story begins with the little-known executive order signed into existence on September 12, 2018, by President Donald J. Trump. That order, available at Whitehouse.gov, is entitled, “Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election.”

In that executive order, which almost no one has covered since the day it was signed, President Trump declares a national emergency. That emergency is still in play to this day, and the 2020 election was conducted under this state of emergency, which is a crucial point to understand what’s coming next.

“Unauthorized accessing of election infrastructure”

In the EO, the President also states that people and organizations located, in part, outside the United States are known to be able to, “interfere in or undermine public confidence in United States elections, including through the unauthorized accessing of election and campaign infrastructure or the covert distribution of propaganda and disinformation.”

If you’re starting to see how this ties in to CNN, the NY Times, the Washington Post and MSNBC, you’re not alone. All those organizations, as you’ll soon see, have been caught under this emergency declaration of “foreign interference” in U.S. elections, aided by complicit corporations on U.S. soil.

...

Dominion is Canadian, Scytl is from Spain; both represent “foreign interference” in US elections… with data routed through servers in Germany

...

Every organization involved in the election theft and cover-up can now be seized by the US government

...

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) says the US military just raided the server farm of Scytl in Spain
The raid appears to have targeted the CIA’s Frankfurt server farm operation

...

GOING DOWN: Big Tech, media giants, Democrat operatives and half the deep state

...

RECOUNTS no longer matter; the certification of votes is now irrelevant

...

We’ve already won
Trump has already won this election

Cool

Winning the 2020 Election (By A Lot!) definitely belongs on his long list of accomplishments for future generations to study.

beware of this account too NLNico. it is either run by betking dean or he is a cohort of dean the scammer or he is paid to support dean and give fake feedbacks to dean and give negative feedbacks to anyone that attacks dean

We've crossed paths a few times over the years and I've never seen NLNico say or do anything that would make me think he's untrustworthy and this is the first time I've seen anyone suggest otherwise.  He's pretty bright and I respect his opinion when it comes to anything gambling related for sure.

2364  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the votin ballot pool too contaminated to be counted? on: November 14, 2020, 08:10:49 AM
I believe this election revealed for the whole world that the voting process for some of these US states is completely unreliable and very susceptible to manipulation and errors of all kinds.
I don't think most of the world believes Trumps accusations.

Where I live any ballot can be traced back to a human, and verified.

There is a sort of "data collection" computer at the polling locations, but the ballots are saved and could later be manually check.

I don't think anything like this is the case in the states that just sent millions of vote-by-mail ballots out.

You're wrong.

The problem is, the officials are democrats,

And republicans.  For example, the GA Sec of State (in charge of the election) is a big time Trump supporter.)

And the US attorneys assigned to monitor the election for fraud, all Trump appointees.

If Trump wins and Biden doesn't concede, they will still pay out.  I agree they shouldn't have that included in the requirements, or at least worded that way - but I don't blame them for wanting to cover all their bases in case America finds itself in a constitutional crisis.

As I mentioned towards the end we would be using "logic and reasonability" to determine the outcome so I could not imagine a scenario where trump won electoral college and we wouldn't pay out. That being said in my opinion it is hyper unlikely that trump will hit 270 electoral college votes without a re-vote or something major happening but stranger things have happened.

This is our biggest market ever on stake, the risk for us is in the millions so it definitely sparked a debate internally. Our odds provider is not settling it until next year and we couldn't hold user funds till feb or prematurely say that trump had lost just because the media has called the race. We did however create a set of criteria for what a trump win would constitute in case Trump plots a coup Cheesy . We tried to hit the right balance here and it has been amazing to see that bettors on both sides of the market have been telling us they are satisfied with our decision.

The criteria listed is as follows:

Quote from: Stake
Given that we are taking bets on the result of the election a winning Trump bet will only be possible if certain criteria are satisfied. All of the following would need to occur:

1. Voter fraud is proven
2. Votes are recast
3. Trump receives 270+ electoral college votes
4. Biden concedes

Problems with this criteria were brought up previously in this thread but not addressed.

1. Voter fraud is "likely to be found" according to some authorities, but the Trump campaign, the US DOJ, and Republican legislatures seem to be focusing on election fraud. That is systematic fraud conducted by the State rather than individual voters.
2. This is ambiguous. I do not believe this is referring to the selection of electors by the state or the voted conducted by the electoral college, as neither event has happened yet. This is probably talking about votes cast by the people. If so, to my knowledge, this has never happened in a US Presidential election. Votes are invalidated every year for many reasons. It seems likely that if the Trump campaign and GOP efforts are successful, then certain votes will be invalidated with no chance to be recast.
4. There is no requirement for a losing presidential candidate to secede in a US Presidential election.

The only decisive point in determining this contest is #3. I understand that sportsbooks need the ability to exercise discretion in cases where the results of a contest are contentious, but that discretion should be applied fairly and uniformly. Stake is paying out Biden bets on the basis that the electoral college will elect him. That should be the only criteria necessary to pay out Trump bets.

Note that I have no wager on this contest with this sportsbook. I'm just a little surprised to see this from Stake.

I agree.

You're opening yourself up to an even bigger headache with these stipulations.

#3 is all you need

in 2016, the allegations were pressed by dems after the official result was promulgated, they questioned the election integrity later.

In 2016 the media declared Trump the projected winner and Clinton conceded almost immediately.  That's completely different than the House exercising the constitutional right to impeach.
The only accusations against the integrity of the actual election were made by Trump when he claimed without any evidence whatsoever that over 3 million votes were cast illegally and therefor he actually won the popular vote, despites losing it by 3 million votes in the real world.  Sound familiar?  It gets better.  He then went on to form a committee to investigate this voter fraud.  They found basically nothing.

This year, bad things are happening and they don't cooperate to see if there isintegrity or not,
No partisans need to cooperate to see if there's integrity or not, in fact it would only make it worse if they did.  There are election officials and procedures already in place and there's a judicial branch to determine if the law was broken and how to remedy the situation if so.

One week has passed since the elections, and we don't know who won states such as Arizona, Georgia and Alaska. I am really surprised with the delay from Alaska. They have just processed around 65% of the vote. Why the counting is getting so much delayed there? Are they transporting the ballots in dog sleds and carts pulled by polar bears?

BTW, Biden's lead in Arizona has been reduced to 12,813 votes (remember that this was one of the states called very early by Fox News). Approximately 45,819 ballots remain to be counted (including 27,602 provisional ballots).

They have some rule that you can't open absentee votes till a week after the election.  I guess they want them to be all together at once and they need time for the votes to come in from the North Pole.

Just checked Realclearpolitics, and they still have Biden at 259.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/elections/live_results/2020/president/

They haven't yet called the outcome in Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Alaska. However, DecisionHQ has Biden at 279, with tossups at AZ, NC, GA and AK. Also, two of the senate races (North Carolina and Alaska) are also not called yet. Really shameful... the fact remains that United States presidential election results are not known even one week after the election day.. Some of the developed nations are much better than this..

To be fair, the US election is like 50 developed nations all having their election on the same day for the same leader.

Official stake elections statement

Summary:"We have chosen to pay out on Biden early while allowing Trump bets to remain unsettled until there is more clarity."

We're actively settling Biden bets now as a win, if you bet on him you will get paid within 24h.

Great way to handle it.

Lots of books aren't settling till Jan (or even Feb).  Paying out without settling losing tickets is not something most would even consider.  Hopefully you don't have to pay the losers.   Wink

We must live in alternate realities.

eddie are you going with the Trump notion that voter fraud and ballot fraud took place and back his stance for legal action or do you think that he should accept defeat, be gracious about it, congratulate Biden and Harris then move on to his next project which could include a new series of The Apprentice or even running for 2024?

I think we will see how the audits and recounts go..
...

Note how many are trying to make the postmodernism reality WITHOUT audits recounts or any facts; just pushing the narrative as true.

Were you this upset when they called the 2016 election same night?

Or when Trump literally called this one?

Or is it only when Trump isn't declared the winner that races shouldn't be called until after all recounts are completed.

2379  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Election Results Speech: Here Are All The False Claims on: November 09, 2020, 12:06:52 AM
The state law is clear, in PA, the deadline to receive ballots is 8 PM on election day. Any vote received after this deadline is not a legal vote, and as such should not count. The term "fraudulent" may or may not be appropriate, however, these are not votes that should be counted.

Before the election, the PA Supreme Court ruled 4-3 that "Ballots are to be treated as timely if they are postmarked on or before election day and are received within three days thereafter."

GOP asked SCOTUS to reverse it.

SCOTUS chose not to reverse it, but ordered that the ballots accepted after election day be treated as timely and segregated in case they ended up hearing the case after the election.

The votes should be treated as valid until a judge rules them as invalid.  This isn't a matter of whether or not you agree with the ruling, it's a matter of following the judges orders or not.  The scenario where your argument would be valid is If the SCOTUS reversed the PA State Court ruling, and then they accepted the ballots after election day anyway.

Pretty sure it would actually be a crime if they didn't accept them as you and Trump are suggesting - can't just do what you want because you don't like how the judicial system handled it.

The last time I checked, PA election officials declined to allow poll watchers watch the ballot counting, even after a PA appellate court ordered them to.  (this is a different case)
Trumps lawyers have already admitted in court, under oath, that poll watchers on behalf of the president actually were allowed in the room.

There have also been a lot of now debunked false claims involving voter fraud.  I think it's likely one of those is your source.
