2381  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has Anyone Heard of Gildebitinvest? on: April 11, 2022, 01:25:55 AM
It's scam

If you or your friend sends Bitcoins to such a website to invest for you while you are "sleeping" then chances are almost 100% that you will never get the money back.

They even forgot to edit out www.blockchestcapitals.com, another likely scam website that's now offline under the general questions

2382  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get noted on: April 11, 2022, 12:42:03 AM
For starters, what is "flogtwekting" been trading for a few years now, but it's my first tome coming across that word. Are you trying to, that moment a coin price plunges?
2383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Via wallet from ViaBTC Group on: April 11, 2022, 12:29:15 AM
Anyone using a viawallet on here?
Never used it, but it's indeed a wallet by ViaBTC group

I've invested in coinex token for a while now after using the ViaBTC pool to mine some ETH so later this wallet was released by viaBTC group, they claimed its decentralised and only very few people knew about it that's why I'm asking if anyone on here is using this wallet.
The wallet is noncustodial, but not decentralized. It is also not open source, so care has to be taken when using it because you don't know what kind of code the developers used to build the wallet or even access your seeds. Only a few people know about the wallet because it's not popular
2384  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet.org - SCAMMERS CONFIRMED - Pending Litigation on: April 10, 2022, 10:59:32 PM
I apologize if any of my words violate the rules in this forum.

I'm sorry, just posting again.
Hey brother, there is nothing to be sorry about. You did nothitn wrong. In the previous reply, I was actually replying to Freewallet and not you

until now freewallet has not returned my funds, they still hold my funds.
but they gave news, asked to be sent again my ID and selfie. I have been waiting for 2 weeks, the status is still being reviewed. Overall almost 3 years my funds were held by them. I will update again, thanks brother
Thanks for the update. This goes to show how fucked up free scam wallet.
2385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on ? In crypto ? on: April 10, 2022, 10:44:35 PM
I think you are still naive about how markets work. it's all about demand and supply.

I buy coin and check everyday it goes up but now it dont move and bull traps.
You probably buy at the wrong time and use emotions and FOMO when buying. Change strategy.

Quote
So wich coins grow everyday ? There is no such a coins?
Totally nothing unless if you fall into a scam coin that also eventual dumps

Quote
And why nobody dont create the growth coin that will have large suplly but the supply will getting smaller by the time and coin never fall just going up so everyday i wake up and earn money thats what we need in crypto so passive income everyday and coin is growing and growing.
Maybe you are in the wrong place. Try Ponzi schemes and HYIPs. Thank me later for the lessons  Grin
2386  Economy / Reputation / Re: Alt possibilities for 4 high rank accounts on: April 10, 2022, 10:25:24 PM
They might be alts, which according to the forum rules is allowed. So, I don't think any DT member may tag the accounts on grounds that they are just alt accounts posting in gambling section or exchanging merits {at least in the past, accounts engaged in merit abuse have not been tagged}
But if you have any good proof showing that they for example cheated in signature campaigns, contests, involved in trust manipulations etc., Now might be the right time to add that.
2387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2FA confusion on: April 10, 2022, 01:24:58 AM
There is one thing I'm trying to catch here, isn't having access to recovery seed neutralised the power of 2FA Authentication? Or this 2FA auth is already imprinted into the recovery seed as well?.
It depends on the type of wallet.

Web wallets that are custodial can provide you with a 2FA option to secure your account, but not the seeds to your account.

Most noncustodial wallet do not offer 2FA to secure the account. I think it's only electrum that I remember that has the 2FA option, but if someone accesses your seeds, they can still spend your bitcoins.
2388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you know about Guarda wallet on: April 10, 2022, 12:57:22 AM
Friends on Reddit are saying Guarda wallet is the best on mobile,
It's not the best mobile wallet, lol.

I can't find information if its open or closed source, I knew I will find real facts on this forum that's why I bring this question to you.
1. It's not open source, period. All the excuses they give saying they are partially open source are meant to fool you.

2. The wallet is not good as it does not segwit wallet format

3. I don't like its wallet backup format... it's an encrypted code instead of seeds used by so many wallets

4. or you have to back up each and every private key of each address. Very tiring.

5. No change addresses. Not good for privacy.
2389  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1Xbit suspected Scammers on: April 09, 2022, 02:04:29 AM
most people that are working and the people that are applying for 1Xbit signature compaign are innocent.
You are kidding, right?

3 - about them being scammers " although i just think they are scammers ", unfortunately there is still no very concrete proof of what is really happening, example:

there hasn't been a member of this forum that is reliable who has tested this scam site and came to post proof that he had his account blocked, so it's hard for us to know what's really happening with these so many people that almost every week appear in the  they thread complain about their account blocked

There's concrete proof. Maybe you just didn't pay attention.

1. How come that 1xbit has the highest number of scam accusations and complaints? We don't we see such a high number of complaints from users of fortunejack, bitsler, Bustadice, Roobet?

2. You wanted proof from a reliable member? well, here is one. Same complaint like most newbie accounts have been complaining.

What happened::

on February 2019 I created an account with 1xbit fully knowing that they have tons of scam accusations , was trying to see how they operate since pretty much all of the scam accusations here were coming from newbies and I thought maybe these accounts were actually arbitraging with them
so I was making small deposits and small bets ( at least comparing it with the others that I use daily ) and was pretty much withdrawing the profits everytime I can just to reduce the risk of them scamming much more in case they decide to close the account

on a day of June last year I had a sick run where actually my balance became over 100 mbtc ( I forgot the number but it was 100-110 mbtc ) so tried making a withdrawal of 30 mbtc if I remember right then my account got frozen
contacted their live chat and they said that I need to to email their security team , I did that and got the following response :

Quote
Good Day. We want to inform you, that our company decided to stop any collaboration with you (closing your account). The decision was made after a careful investigation of the situation by our security service. The decision is based on a violation of the Terms and Conditions.

I asked them in 2 following emails what was the violation but they simply didn't reply back at all , so the quote was their first and final reply

I didn't report the case here cause I know they are scammers and since the day I joined them I knew that most likely this will happen at any given time , but since they came back to forums few days ago claiming they will fix all their old problems ( probably  because the majority of the accusations were made by inactive people long time ago ) they sent me the following in pm

Quote
Got a response from security.

If a betting participant commits fraudulent acts in relation to a betting company (registration of multiple accounts for arbitrage betting in this exact case), the betting company reserves the right to stop such fraudulent acts by means of the betting company:
- betting cancellation;
- closing the client's account with a refund, but without taking into account the dishonest income received.

The amount of deposited funds is paid to the player in full.

so now they are saying that I was multi accounting and arbitraging , well anyone with arbitrage knowledge can know that they are full of shit
first of all my deposits and bets were really small with them so it doesn't make sense to arbitrage ( my avg bet size if I remember right was around 8 mbtc , I doubt that I had anybet over 20 mbtc )

also people multi account to avoid small betting limits while this is totally not the case with 1xbit , if you ever tried them or their site 1xbet in the past you would know that you can bet their limits several time within the same account
like if limits are showing 5 mbtc you can bet 5 mbtc then bet that amount again and again with new betslips and that was confirmed by their live support

also in the past I asked them about using VPN and live support said it's totally fine to use it with them , but still I was using my real IP with them most of the times except few times maybe where I had to turn on the VPN for other sites and accidentally login to their site but anyways they didn't mention any other accounts or IP addresses in both of their responses

the whole case is my words against their words since I don't have access to account and can't even post the betslips I had with them , but since they are trying to act like angels that want to solve problems and start clean I thought I need to share my experience here especially that they are starting a sig campaign

2390  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wolf.bet Scam accusation on: April 09, 2022, 01:36:52 AM
If I were you, I would first talk to support before I open up a scam accusation. Opening a scam accusation without even knowing the root cause of the problem is unfair. What if it was just your browser or data connection causing this?

That being said, I have seen another complaint about unsuccessful verification as of now apart from yours, not even in the public chat rooms.
2391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss - Limit Orders on: April 08, 2022, 01:28:33 PM
Is there any exchange that allows to set a stop loss and a limit order with a minimum sale price at the same time?

For example if bitcoin is at 43000 I could put a stop loss at 42800 and a limit order that sells me the bitcoin when it reaches for example at least 43400?
Yes, In Binance they have it, it's called OCO (One-Cancels-the-Other) order type. In this type of order, there is a limit order and a stop limit order. In your case, you will set a sell limit order at 43400 and a stop limit order (stop loss) at 42800 with a trigger price which you think is desirable.

Check you Binance academy on YouTube for more on how the order works

2393  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Whale wallet grabbed my fantom on: April 08, 2022, 04:14:24 AM
The whale wallet you see is of an exchange, mostly like of crypto.com or Binance, as it has had lots of interactions with other similar wallets from both exchanges according to the blockchain explorer.

It's a common practice for exchanges to move funds from your deposits address to their hot or cold wallet. It happens all the time.

Just talk to the crypto.com support about your uncredited account

These excuse are the reasons that made this forum the best place for scammers!! Made this forum a useless forum!
Useless forum and yet you are still here  Roll Eyes

I have never been scammed by any members in other forums like nulled. crackedto etc! you know why? Cause they have better rules and supervision! At least they do not let scammers scams loyal users easily and get away with that!
Nobody is going to spoon-feed you here. Your money, your responsibility. It was the whole idea of Bitcoin, right?

Its a shame that no one is doing anything about that! No one cares here as far as I can say!
You seem to be in the wrong place.

1. Why would I share my personal conversation with all users (Considering that almost half of them are scammers)?! Does the other users have the ability to ban the reported person?!!! No!! Only some admins have that power and I will share my personal conversation only with them!
The just shut up and stop complaining to us. PM the admins and see if they will respond to you.

Quote
2. That is something your forums needs to make sure about that by verifying users telegram/discord/whatsapp etc account or something like that! You are allowing the users to provide any shit details without any proof on their profiles! Even everyone can send negative trust feedback to others!!  By the way thanks for explaining this and make the scammers aware of the tricks they can use to fuel people by making this accuse that the telegram account was not mine or some shits like that! Thank you hero member holydarkness!!!
Wow, KYC on a Bitcoin forum, are you hearing yourself?

Quote
3. I trusted the guy because I dont want to believe this forum became useless! But now I believe this the truth! btctalk is the hangout place of scammers due to its low quality rules and low supervision! Also I asked from a legendary member to provide a escrow service and he refused to do it! He said he can not guarantee the sellers keys will work! So?!! If I am not able to even use escrow service then what the f... can I do? What the f... did you provide to make the deals safe?
Maybe you should stop making shitty deals. No one forced you to send any money to the scammer. You really sound like a 13 year old.

I just feel sorry for this forum! Thats all I can say!

2395  Other / Beginners & Help / Can a service whose code is close sourced be regarded as decentralized? on: April 07, 2022, 04:59:19 AM
My idea of a service being decentralized is when the code if fully open source where anyone can independently verify it and also be able to contribute, plus everyone is able to use the service without the need for a third party or central authority.
But I do often see people refer to closed source projects as decentralized, which brings me to the question;

1. Can a service like a wallet whose code is closed source be decentralized?
2. Does this mean any service that is noncustodial regardless of whether the source code is open or closed = Decentralized?

2396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Connect Coinomi To Metamask on: April 07, 2022, 04:34:07 AM
People still use this coinomi? I lost some assets using this wallet weeks ago I still haven't figure out how the wallet got compromised.
You probably;

1. Had your seeds or private keys leaked
2. Have malware on your device.

If coinomi had a problem or was stealing people's assets. You would already know by now, as it would have been allover the news.

Coinomi is  decentralized wallet (as they claim),
It's a closed source wallet, I don't know if this goes hand in hand with decentralization. They (the owners) can choose to do anything with it. Maybe the word you were looking for is a noncustodial wallet.
2397  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ChainEX.io is SCAM on: April 07, 2022, 12:53:51 AM
I think ChainEX.io is a South African cryptocurrency exchange, I couldn't see the exchange on Coinmarketcap but it was on Coingecko. I think the exchange is reputable.
How do you tell if it's reputable?
It's my first time hearing about the exchange.
Chainex locked my account and ask for verification,
when I do so they still refuse to unlock my account, the reason is because I have a mistake in the spelling of my name
Where was the mistake? On the documents or when you were filling the name on the website?

They should be able to make you verify again if it's just a spelling error.

2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is NFT? & How to get free NFTs on coinmarketcap on: April 06, 2022, 02:09:01 AM
I had one question to all NFT lovers.
Is there any really free NFT worth anything?
Probably we can get many free nft over different platform (not cmc only). But what we can do with them? Is it possible to sold them whenever we want? Or just need to wait something special?
Unlike the usual tokens we know, selling an NFT is a shit load of pain. You have to wait for someone foolish enough to buy it and give you their ETH or BNB.
It's why I have never bothered owning even one
2400  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FIXED 1xbit new scam. cant connect anymore on: April 04, 2022, 04:59:31 AM
I think Op is not a gambler and OP is a part of the 1xbit who has just tried to advocate  of 1xbit. Op tried to make us sure that 1xbit is working fine and no one will fall on any problem. Op just created 3 posts and all posts consists 1xbit scam. And updated soon that the accusation has ended while a lot of case ongoing but not solved and after solving the case left the forum. While there is  no information of the scam as well as resolution.
I will be damned if @frenchmika came back here to clarify on the situation. The mission was accomplished and he logged out.

I thought I was the only one who sensed 1xbit is taking their scamming and shilling approach to a new level. This is so far the second kind of scam accusation I have seen In a space of 1-2 weeks.
