I've honestly never been aware of the "lock account" feature, so don't know if it can even be recovered independently without the help of the recovery team.
The feature deters unauthorized use of the account.

Let say a hacker accessed your account and tried to change the email address, which is pretty easy if they have your password. A notification will be sent to your old email address containing a link to lock your account. Once clicked on, your account will be locked. Even the hacker won't be able to access it using the new and old email address. Only way of unlocking it by contacting the recoveries team.

Does that mean you can't also receive a recovery process email if you click the "forgot account" button?
I don't think so.

Real madrid would sure shop big next summer.

As it's like a routine for them especially this season they have not sign much players to boost the squad power and as for the result .. they are slipped in the domestic league and a bit worrying facing the champions league with such squad attitude to have quite bad form. Bellingham would fit very well to replace modric.
Jude Bellingham for Modric?

So why exactly did Real Madrid spend on tchouameni and Camavinga?
Wait, sometimes even Federico Valverde can play midfield. So Who are you going to bench when bellingham comes in?

Personally, i don't think there is any urgency in that position. There's a lot of cover there.
1484  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What after localbitcoins.com shutting down on: February 10, 2023, 11:09:47 PM
It appears that peer-to-peer trading opportunities are decreasing. It constitutes a risk to us if a well-known P2P exchange closes. Because peer-to-peer trade is replacing centralized exchange like Binance is currently conducting significant p2p trade. There would be other exchanges opening up for peer to peer trading. However, LocalBitcoin was a realizable P2P exchange. I don't see why a peer-to-peer exchange would shut down. I'm not certain, but I'll guess it's just for a little enforcement.
Man, I don't even think what localbitcoins was offering was anything to do with p2p. Well it may have seemed like two parties were involved in direct trade, but then there was a third party which was localbitcoins

They could choose to freeze the funds any time they wanted, since the customer wallets were custodial. To be honest, they were more like Binance, especially when they made KYC verification mandatory.

Hey everyone!

My account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3499411
Was locked after changed the email address and accidently clicked the lock account link (I didn't read and assumed it was an activation link Tongue)
it's just a security feature in case someone hacked your account and tried to change the email address. It helps lock them out of your account.

I read a few topics/FAQs here, and noticed you need to sign with a crypto address which you had on your account.

The thing is, I've never posted a crypto address here nor have I got one linked on my account.
a staked bitcoin address is necessary, but not mandatory. The recoveries team is flexible.

What I do have though is:
- Access to the registration email and current email
- Full access to the service/site I sell here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5411315) - Perhaps I could add a signature on the website?
- On the same ISP (but different IP) as registration
This is more than enough. The original email address and they will also probably try to check the IP logs to be sure they are coming from a similar location

Good luck.
1486  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > Millions of bonus monthly < on: February 10, 2023, 10:21:16 PM

According to the screenshot, your withdrawal is on hold which means there is something they are investigating or need to verify before the approve it.

Check your email address and see if there was any message they sent you regarding the withdrawal. 5 days is surely a long time to keep waiting without being told why the withdrawal is on hold. You could also contact support with your account details.
1487  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitDice doesn't pay to affiliates. Players are also under the threat of a scam on: February 10, 2023, 09:30:14 PM
This is very unfortunate. If I am not mistake, I think I have seen a complaint or two about their affiliate program not paying. There can be no smoke without fire. They could have been a reputable casino in the past, but I think it's about time BitDice got reprimanded for their recent behaviour

New registrants or potential customers also need to be aware of what things look like currently in the casino.
1488  Economy / Reputation / Re: Some unusual behavior with merits. on: February 10, 2023, 09:05:03 PM
There's nothing unusual about this. Certain times when members or merit sources notice that one is about to rank up, they try to revisit your past posts to send you merits in a quick succession and give one a small push toward the merit amount required to rank up. It has ever happened to me too before, so this shouldn't be a big deal.

Maybe you have never experienced it before, that's why you think it's unusual behaviour.

What kind of decisions can take that long?
Unfortunately, centralized exchanges can choose to do whatever they want because you entrusted them with your funds. This is why we always keep telling users never to trust centralized exchanges. Only use them momentarily where there is nee and remove your funds off them for long term storage.

1490  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Citybuildtrade.com Review Scam Or Legit on: February 10, 2023, 08:07:26 PM
yes all scamers here and hyip program  but tipo token is number 1
we should buy tipo coin
bitnaka and citybuildtrade scam
beware
What a big joke

Who is going to believe you hear after trying to shill a Ponzi scheme not so long ago. If I am not mistaken, even that tipo token you keep recommending might just be yet another Ponzi scheme. The negative feedback on your profile just perfectly describes who you are.
1491  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet.org scammed me out of $10000 on: February 10, 2023, 07:52:58 PM
Sorry about that bad ordeal with the scam wallet. So many complaints have come up against them here, How I wish you had seen them and tried to avoid using the wallet a long time ago

Here is a compilation of some of the accusations against them until May 2020. Imagine how many they could be after 3 more years

-- Freewallet.org SCAM accusations - a compilation

Their reputation here is pretty bad too

Same thing happened on my Chrome browser except that the part where there is an error message is just empty

Just tried myself with chrome and firefox, the website is fully loaded without any issue for me https://prnt.sc/KrI2ej3Y18aT. Not sure what is happened to you, but are you using any VPN or maybe your ISP does blocking some gambling related sites? As long as I know secure connection failed can be caused by few different thing such as our ISP, Antivirus, VPN, etc. Maybe you can turn off your antivirus first or try to use incognito mode in chrome.

Hey logfiles! We'll second here what Bitinity says. Try turning off any plugins, VPN, any add ons. Smiley
If you are still having problems please send me a DM or email our support team at support@maverickgames.com
Damn, I think I have figured out what the problem might be. Probably my ISP is blocking the website. When I used a VPN, everything loaded just fine. My question is

1. Do you have a list of countries that are restricted from using your platform? I saw nothing in the terms and conditions
2. What is your stance about use of VPNs when accessing your platform/ Again, the terms say nothing about this.

1493  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What after localbitcoins.com shutting down on: February 09, 2023, 10:13:52 PM
So today we have a news that localbitcoins.com is shutting down
Does it matter? Well it doesn't matter to me because I stopped trading with them when they went full KYC

Now people are in dilemma that how they can continue their trading, as localbitcoins is one of the exchange which set a benchmark in crypto space,
You couldn't wait for this moment to shill your coinbaazar exchange, could you?

If you think some of us have forgotten, then you are wrong... Your very first posts say a lot about your intentions here

Blaming the crypto winter.... great job!

The truth is that they started to die when they were forced to introduce KYC rules.
Since it was one of the reasons people traded there, they moved to another place
Perfect!

I am one of the people who abandoned my high trading volume account on localbitcoins after their dicky KYC rules
1494  Economy / Reputation / Re: Discrimination against bounty hunters on: February 09, 2023, 12:32:52 PM
It has nothing to do with discrimination. The truth is, most bounty hunters are just spammers, cheats involving bots and farms of accounts owned by a few individuals.
Haven't you seen posts made by bots?
Even when the bounty campaign has ended, they still continue posting Proof of authentication posts and reports. How can you not feel bad about such?
1495  Economy / Reputation / Re: yahoo62278 Rip the forum with his fake donation (clafiraction) on: February 09, 2023, 12:11:58 PM
Donation is  illegal against  make the forum look bad.
Point out where it says it's illegal to donate.

The forum is against donating but yet he is one thread of donating where he rip everyone off?
The same forum where dozens of members have already donated a lot of BTC to keep it running... really?  Grin

It seems like you are the one who's so bitter in this case. If you can't donate, then just ignore. Take a chill pill.
1496  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maverick Games 🚀 BTC & USDT Sportsbook & Casino | Licensed & Regulated on: February 08, 2023, 11:56:06 PM
Can someone please help confirm with me if there is a general problem with the site, or it's just me browser/ISP?

The page partially loads, but then there is an error in part of the page. The browser is Firefox

Same thing happened on my Chrome browser except that the part where there is an error message is just empty
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: February 08, 2023, 11:47:36 PM
After the Man City's scandal, it's a golden chance for Madrid to hijack Haaland Wink
Don't you think getting him would be very expensive after just 1 season of signing at Manchester City?
They had a golden chance to get a centre forward from Bundesliga (Haaland and Lewandowski) last summer, but they thought they could depend on Benzema.

I am not one who like English related players because of the media hype, but maybe they can try Harry Kane and see how it goes.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 08, 2023, 11:35:57 PM
What is different this season is that Real Madrid doesn't have this one outstanding goal scorer who guarantees a goal per game. It doesn't matter that much as Vinicius Junior and Valverde also took on that role to score goals, but I am more convinced than ever that the reports about Real Madrid trying to get Haaland to sign a contract are more valid than ever. Haaland would be the puzzle piece that Madrid is missing right now.
Haaland was available, and a very cheap option compared to Mbappé, but they ignored him and though Benzema would have a good season in terms of consistency like last season. It turns out they miscalculated. Now they have to watch helplessly while Barcelona take the title.

They will also have to become active and find some new midfielders when Kroos and Modric are going to leave the club. Even if they stay for another year or two, it is inevitable to replace them with extremely high quality midfielders. There is a lot of work to do for Real Madrid.
I think they have tried to find replacements for those two, though it will never be an easy task.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 07, 2023, 11:34:20 PM
Hey guys what do you think about the investigation been carried out on Manchester City about some of their financial misconducts, this misconducts does not only apply to one season but covers over 3 year.

If Manchester city is found guilty they would be facing the possibility of fine, getting point deduction or worst been stripped off their title.
I think they will be striped off some of their titles since their financial misconduct covers the period where they won them. Honestly, I don't give a damn if they get stripped off the titles.

Money and corruption has ruined football, and it's about time we got back some little bit of sanity. We still want our beautiful game back.
1500  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple accounts (Two Accounts Linked) on: February 07, 2023, 10:54:08 PM
Looks like those two accounts might be connected as Abigi sent a little bit of BNB to Incarts on January 10th.
This is some plausible additional evidence about the connection. Thanks for taking your time to connect the dots @Rikafip. He cheated on bounties using his alts.

@Obong Okon next time make a proper report when reporting possible alt account bounty abuse so its easier for others to check it out. You can also use this thread instead opening a new one every time you stumble upon something suspicious like in this case.
Didn't Timelord2067 make a self-moderated thread, deterring newbie accounts from making account connection reports in that thread, or have I been napping for too long?
