2381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: February 20, 2022, 04:12:56 AM
I don't like a gamble with my funds lol. So no, new project investment is prohibited for me. Even I do not gamble with existing shitcoins, I learned from my past mistake. I bought a shitcoin and lost everything there. After then I aimed only to invest in Top coins on the markets. Never mind I wouldn't be a millionaire in a night and I don't need it so. Making small profits regularly is good enough for me. So, if you like to gamble on a new project just be careful. Most of the projects are just scams or rug pull.
2382  Economy / Economics / Re: Proposed Cryptocurrency ban in Russia on: February 19, 2022, 06:35:07 PM
It looks like OP spreading FUD or worried about regulation. Don't post this kind of sensitive information without a reference link. I didn't hear something like that recently, rather than Russia wondering to regulate crypto which would be a positive move. While the USA allows citizens to use cryptocurrency hence I don't believe Russia will ban it. Otherwise, Russia would be backdated on the digital crypto world.
2383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kraken CEO give a heads up to carefully use CEX on: February 19, 2022, 06:27:31 PM
Nothing news, we have many experiences like this. And thanks to Kraken CEO for telling the truth. If we don't like to freeze our assets then have to move into a non-custodial wallet or deal it p2p. But we are not hearing that and there is not much we can do as well. We are forced to use centralized exchange due to Liquidity and pair. But need to make sure the amount isn't big there and not hold for a long time. Otherwise, at any time fund would freeze.
2384  Other / Meta / Re: Why I love Bitcointalk! on: February 19, 2022, 05:57:14 PM
Let's be honest here, I love Bitcointalk for learning & earning. Yes, at the beginning I joined here for learning Purpose I was aware of bounty but didn't join. And to be honest I wasn't aware of what is signature campaign lol. However, day by day I learned a lot of things from the forum which has helped me to earn from here. Not only from signature but also from other marketing sources. So both things lead me to love this forum. Still need to learn a lot of things.
2385  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need some marketing strategy on: February 19, 2022, 05:43:15 PM
Development and marketing each other are connected strongly. Since you are talking about the bounty program, I am assuming likely you gonna launch something related to the token launch. So here you need to tighten your seat belt because it's quite hard to find real sources of the marketing. Those who aren't experts in marketing waste a lot of money the wrong way. So research the market in real-time. Ask me if you need any help or DM me, I had worked on a couple of projects for marketing.
2386  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Newbie seeking advice:How to promote a startup project without agency on: February 19, 2022, 05:33:26 PM
Marketing is the key to success but the condition is if you can hit the right point. Otherwise, you may just waste your money and time. To be honest, most of the advertising Agencies are just here to eat your money they don't care about success. Of course, there are some legit advertising Agencies but the cost will be too high which is quite a bigger amount for a new project. So first of all you need to research as much as you can and find the right points where you need to hit to be a success. I might help you but I need a clear explanation about your project and details budget and your target. There should be an initial marketing budget.
2387  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com (wallet) shutting down on: February 19, 2022, 04:48:03 PM
Thanks for sharing with us, I never used this wallet nor do I know about their service. Just wondering was the wallet custodial? If so then this is the disadvantage of using the custodial wallet. If it was non-custodial then the fund should be recovered by the seed phrase. Not sure why they shut down the wallet service, those users will notice after the shutdown will fall in trouble. There wouldn't be an easy process of recovering funds.
2388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's the best advice you received here? on: February 18, 2022, 07:14:43 PM
The first thing I learned from the forum was about contributions. If you wanna become an established member of this forum there are no alternatives. And of course, for that, you need to learn from here and spread the knowledge new generation. Once a time I was a newbie, now become Legendary here through contributions only. So just follow others' advice and contribute to the forum.
2389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear vs Bull : The Beauty Of Cryptocurrency on: February 18, 2022, 05:57:43 PM
The question is how the patience you are. Brilliant could make money even in a bear market and the panic seller just loses. Cryptocurrency is most popular due bear and bull game. Who could accept bear and accumulate more is the gainer. Holding 1 Bitcoin is worth always 1 Bitcoin, but you will lose when calculating in fiat. Here is the patience stands for. Who can use the bear advantage will be the gainer. That's the logic of becoming a profitable trader.
2390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine Just Legalized Bitcoin on: February 18, 2022, 05:46:03 PM
I thought Bitcoin was legal in Ukraine since a major part of cryptocurrency users are there. A few cryptocurrency statics shows a major part of the traffic coming from Ukraine. However, if there weren't illegal means there wasn't be prevention of using Bitcoin. But of course when people can use cryptocurrency more widely then it will be more popular there and a kind of adaption. Since the advisory board proposes cryptocurrency legalization means there is a 99% chance signed by the president. Thinking positive
2391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank and it ignorance on Bitcoin on: February 18, 2022, 05:26:57 PM
The game of centralization and decentralization will remain the same, both sounds are conflicts. You know the business of the centralized bank, so there is the possibility of shutting down the centralized bank if they adapt decentralized Bitcoin. Yea, some banks allow Bitcoin and support it, but a major part of the centralized bank do not support it. Even some central banks like my country ban Bitcoin as an illegal asset. Bank will never allow you the become your own bank through Bitcoin. But they couldn't stop Bitcoin adaption ever.
2392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A painful loss on: February 17, 2022, 06:41:27 PM
Yea, likely rug pull. Dev. skip with the fund they raised. That's the reason why I am not much interested in brand new projects. They just come to the market to pull the money, nothing else. They use the most recent trends like currently, Metaverse trending on. So it's better to avoid brand new projects and choose some potential existing projects to buy on the dip. Sorry for your loss.
2393  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit.com, they do not pay winnings on: February 15, 2022, 02:47:42 PM
Guys, you come on the scam accusations section after getting a scam. But do not bother to read this section before putting your money into a scam site. 1xbit is a well-known scam, almost all users here know about this. But sadly you don't know. 1xbit does not care about forum reputation hence tagging them more is just useless since they got multiple tags on their profiles. Just be fair and search this board before putting your money on any gambling sites.
2394  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance invests $200 million to buy stake in Forbes on: February 15, 2022, 01:41:39 PM
It's called China brain lol. It's like Alibaba wants to rule the eCommerce industry and many more which is related. And Binance wants to the rules cryptocurrency industry and which are related to it. They bought CMC and invested in many platforms. They are just opening more gates for them. Yes, this is positive for us. Forbes will promote cryptocurrency massively then  Grin
2395  Other / Meta / Re: Attempted account hacking via forgot account password on: February 15, 2022, 01:31:09 PM
Most likely someone tried to hack your wallet and tried to recover your password. On the other hand, it's possible to attack you lock your account by trying it in various ways. So yes, your password should be enough strong and secure your mail password as well. Though it's not important to change the password and you may continue using this account, make sure the password is strong. Sing and stake your Bitcoin address is not yet done. So you can recover your account in case of a hack.
2396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I lack knowledge pls guide me on: February 15, 2022, 01:24:51 PM
I am assuming OP talking about generating duplicate addresses and private keys. Till now I didn't hear about this issue and it wouldn't happen. Otherwise, the whole system will be broken and no one will use cryptocurrency anyway. Securing your wallet from attack is a different thing. It's your responsibility to keep safe. But the algorithm will never create the same wallet address or private keys. From this side you are safe. Just need to use an open-source non-custodial wallet. Otherwise, a hardware wallet is preferable.
2397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 15, 2022, 01:16:31 PM
Well, since Bitcoin is legal in your country you may encourage your employees to get a salary in Bitcoin. So more people will be introduced to Bitcoin. This means it's an adaption for Bitcoin. Though I don't have employees but pay Bitcoin for some works that hire for marketing purposes. Yea, they are familiar with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Those aren't familiar hard to manage them to accept Bitcoin. But at least I tried to pay through Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, especially for marketing.
2398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trying to understand more about wallet security on: February 15, 2022, 01:05:42 PM
As others users said you may implement some additional security to keep safe your funds. But I am wondering how you are gonna protect your additional passwords if you can't protect your seeds or private keys. I have seen some cases where users used additional passwords to generate and encrypt private keys for paper wallets. So in the end, they had written the private keys and didn't write the passwords. Eventually when they tried to access their funds forget the password which has used to encrypt private keys. So if you need to write your passwords as well then it's going to same writing your private keys and both would be stolen or lost. So better use a hardware wallet and keep secure your seeds in a secret place, so even lost the device can't access without a password and you can always recover your fund through the seed phrase.
2399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be mindful when making transactions on PC on: February 15, 2022, 12:28:10 PM
Thanks for sharing your experience and thanks to God you didn't loss anything. Yea, it's quite important to check the address multiple times that you copied and that your past. It's not only on PC, hackers could take control of your mobile devices as well. So whatever device you have been using needs to make sure the address is right. I often verify the address multiple times to make sure. I always check the last and first few digits of an address when sending funds. So even there is an attack could notice easily.
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN] Stabila Public Chain (STB) | Decentralize the financial system. 🚀 on: February 14, 2022, 04:13:59 AM
According to his previous reply to a post this is a way of ensuring that scam projects don't find easy access to launch on the stabila network since stabila is here to fight scams and set the record straight,
So probably by imposing such amount it will scare off scam project and most likely potential project as well,
Aside from high fees to pay, a license will be issued to a potential project which most likely will be reviewed manually, lol, what happened when there are many requests and this network is supposed to be better than the rest according to the dev, will you keep them waiting by undergoing manual review?

To be honest I support how they want to prevent scams. But where regulating token deployment by the team or by a centralized organization then the entire ecosystem is wouldn't be decentralized. There are some alternatives to prevent scams like doxxed team or verifying KYC by Launchpad. But do you think they succeed to prevent scams? People just hire someone to verify KYC and skip with the fund. Then nothing happened later on. For a few days, People will cry then forget. So I don't think this would a valid reason to issue the license and high deployment fees.
