1581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: November 12, 2022, 05:13:00 PM
How about just don't believe any new project lol. You will be safer then. Very rarely do I read crypto news except Cointelegraph. Most others just do pay press releases. Although Cointelegraph does pay release as well they maintain quality. I don't believe any news sites for new projects. It needs deep investigation if I intend to invest in a new project. Because most projects are just shit projects and have nothing. They just focus on how they could raise money and don't care about products and development.
1582  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Reminder: Treat Exchanges as Marketplaces on: November 11, 2022, 08:38:40 PM
Yep, well said. This a pretty good example to show the reality. We have never been supported to keep your funds in the exchange ever and day by day it's becoming more transparent. A lot of things happening in the crypto world which have been making this space more worst. We should take the lesson from history. There are a lot of reasons why shouldn't store your crypto in the exchange. It's been never safe and won't be safe ever.
1583  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How does my Trezor wallet work? on: November 11, 2022, 08:28:19 PM
I don't know how Trezor works, but I have been using Ledger. It creates a transaction from the apps that are connected to the device. Then send it to the Ledger to sign the transaction. If you approve then the device broadcasts it to the chain. And of course for signing message device should be online and connected to the internet. Bitcoin is actually stored in Blockchain but controlled by your private keys. So it will be updated on the Blockchain in real-time. Whenever you connect your wallet to the apps it will show a real balance. Of course, you should be connected to the internet to get data from the Blockchain. Even device not connected, just apps show me real time data.
1584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My reason to be in btc on: November 11, 2022, 08:19:44 PM
You should have your own reason why are you in cryptocurrency. You are in cryptocurrency since the richest person in. So how about John McAfee's suicide, will you do the same? He was the biggest crypto holder and supporter as well. Of course not, you won't do the same because you have a brain that you will use. So why not for crypto? You should have your own goal. Since you are on the forum hope you will get your own reason soon.
1585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really the future of money? on: November 11, 2022, 08:11:43 PM
Due to the high volatility, you can't use Bitcoin as fiat money. There will be existing fiat whether paper money or digital forms. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that exists in the virtual world, it will exist the same and still, we can use it for borderless transactions. It has a value that is backed by the community. Bitcoin won't be the only future money. But yes, it is digital money which is called cryptocurrency.
1586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius, Terra, FTX Crash All Are Prove That Bitcoin Is The Only Trusted Crypto on: November 11, 2022, 08:04:57 PM
Trusting an alt becomes harder than ever. So much drama happened last few months and people lost a lot in cryptocurrency. Even people lost a lot when they invested in a native coin of exchange. That's the worst case of people Lossing faith in exchange and crypto as well. Altcoins aren't truly decentralized anymore due to many reasons. So investing there is always risky. Bitcoin is a truly decentralized coin. So that's the reason why Bitcoin is stronger than any other altcoin or projects that coming new to the crypto space.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: War of exchanges on: November 11, 2022, 07:58:34 PM
Even whitebit a popular exchange? I am not aware really. Hadn't used this ever. So they want to hit Binance? I think it's quite impossible at the moment. Binance gains much popularity, and fighting with that won't lead to good anything. Any war in the crypto space just will make it worst. Already there is a problem with FTX and they file for bankruptcy. By removing BNB Whitebit will lose liquidity. It won't hurt BNB anyway. Binance is a few x better than whitebit IMO.
1588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coins on an exchange, any exchange, are never safe on: November 10, 2022, 04:49:56 AM
Cex won't be safe ever and it seems to exchange native coins also wouldn't be safer even if you hold on to your hot wallet. How will you do with the token if it becomes zero? Tokens of native exchange would become zero anytime due to any reason that we have seen about FTX coin. We have to take a lesson from history and have to be very careful with our funds. It's crypto and anything could happen at any time whether something good or bad. So holding funds on exchange is never safe and holding native coins also never safe.
1589  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's a Great Chance to Buy Bitcoin before 25 December Bitcoin High Jump ^ on: November 10, 2022, 04:41:45 AM
To be honest those are newly want to enter in Bitcoin world this is a chance for them to accumulate. Though there are chances more down who knows exactly? Almost year we see this price range. If still, people worried to invest then they have to buy on the green market. I know people become panicky when they see the red market and are worried to buy. But those who like to play have to take the risk. It's a high risk to be honest if compare with the last few months.
1590  Economy / Exchanges / Re: $ Buying crypto to casino without KYC and fast $ on: November 08, 2022, 09:08:05 PM
I am not well familiar with Oobit nor have I heard about that. As far as I know, buying crypto with fiat is quite hard without KYC. P2P is different if it's Decentralized at all. Otherwise, the most exchange needs KYC to buy crypto with cards. Because all the exchanges use a third party to integrate buying crypto with fiat. Even they may ask to provide KYC. So I won't jump on any site unless it's well-reputed and proven.
1591  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] Binance intends to acquire FTX! on: November 08, 2022, 09:01:46 PM
I am not getting what happened exactly right now. If Binance wants to acquire FTX then the market should be good. At least do dump. But seems suddenly the market crashed. I just looking for the reason actually. It was a good move for traders if Binance buy the FTX exchange. Also, BNB skyrocketed a few hours back. Just surprising to me everything.
1592  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please check. Account with suspicious username cozytrade on: November 08, 2022, 08:53:06 PM
I am not getting what is suspicious exactly. Anyone could wake up and change account credentials. That doesn't mean they are doing suspicious. As long as they aren't abusing the forum you can't take action against anyone unless there is transparent evidence of changing hands. By the way, I am pretty sure you are posting from your alts.
1593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Dollar is Affecting Nigerians to Buy Bitcoin Right Now. on: November 08, 2022, 08:23:39 PM
Bro, if you compare Bitcoin price with your local currency then won't be perfect when you will calculate again with the dollar. P2P price depends on the seller, he will make some profits, especially those resellers. If you are worried about volatility, then nothing can do about it. The price won't be the same after you buy. It would higher or down as well. That's how cryptocurrency act always. Right now the whole market is crashed. So if you think you lost then it's wrong. The price will be fine again when Bitcoin pumps a bit.
1594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges charging for inactive accounts . Do you support this ? on: November 07, 2022, 08:36:09 PM
Yea, you should be charged. Because you are holding funds there. Because you are using the shit exchange. So why will not they charge you? We always say don't hold your funds in a centralized exchange and don't use fucking exchange. So why are you guys using this shit? They should loss their customers due to fucking behavior. Just withdraw your funds and forget forever. No one is forcing to use shit exchange at all.
1595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: November 07, 2022, 08:28:44 PM
The idea isn't bad lol. Due to our greed and panic, we can't hold Bitcoin properly. But if you store Bitcoin for your child and don't touch it until becoming a teen then would be a good way to hold it. But for ourselves, we can take advantage of the volatility. For example, those who hadn't sold in ATH regret it now. If they sold then they can accumulate double the Bitcoin right now. And of course, some people become Panic those who are selling now. So yea, the idea is good.
1596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Point Do You Start Accepting Bitcoin as a Payment Option For Your Business? on: November 05, 2022, 08:16:31 PM
There are a few obligations, to accepting Bitcoin. For example, even if I want to accept Bitcoin in my country won't happen due to restrictions. So basically those who love to invest in Bitcoin will accept Bitcoin definitely. Otherwise, they won't hold it for long due to volatility. Some companies accept Bitcoin but they swap it instantly from the exchange because volatile and they don't want to take the risk of loss. So definitely Bitcoin accepter should be a big Bitcoin fan.
1597  Other / Archival / Re: I don't want to buy cheap bitcoins, I want to buy expensive ones on: November 05, 2022, 08:09:04 PM
It's true people don't want to buy Bitcoin when it's cheap and increase buy pressure when starting a bull run. It's this circle repeat always as we have seen. There is a reason why people don't want to jump when Bitcoin is cheap. That's nothing else except panic. When the market becomes too red and increases sell pressure, people become panic and dare to buy it. They think Bitcoin would dump more and more. So we might lose a lot. But when start green, a FOMO work there and people start buying. You would notice many threads during the Bitcoin bull run that they should buy or not. But they automatically become afraid due to the red market and don't buy on the dip.
1598  Economy / Reputation / Re: What Happen if bitcointalk member pass away? on: November 05, 2022, 08:00:55 PM
I am assuming OP tried to ask what will happen died with a loan from the forum. Because his loan will default here automatically in case of death. Yes, it's pretty much a hard question. So this will be a p2p loan, not from the forum actually. So now depends on the lender if he wants to give it up or expect funds back. Also, it would possible we won't notice who died actually if we don't know in real life. So lender would think the borrower defaults on the loan if he isn't sure about death. There is no solution actually if the borrower doesn't tell his family to return lend amount.
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk have Just a year to make back his money🙆 on: November 05, 2022, 07:51:27 PM
If Elon weren't genius then why will he buy Twitter at all? But regarding the blue tick, most likely he followed Telegram. Because recently telegram implement premium package where you can use emojis as you want. It would be blue tick as well. He bought twitter to make money, not to lost money. So definitely he will make a profitable company. But we are curious to see if he accept crypto for blue tick and which crypto accept. It would be a good Crypto adaption. But I am not sure about regulations allow it anyway.
1600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why these coins never touch previous ATH on: November 05, 2022, 07:45:14 PM
Those are shit coins that won't touch ATH again. It's because the team doesn't care anymore about their project. After raising money, they think there is no responsibility. Some shit coin list cex and few exit from Dex. So how may we expect ATH again for shit coins? There are a few altcoins with a strong team and developers are working hard behind the project to push it to the next level. So that projects do well and can make ATH again. So during choose, an altcoin has to be very careful.
