In how many hours we can expect whitepaper?
I hope that we will get it before Mintpal.

The final copy will be ready this morning but it's time for my beauty sleep.  Cheesy

I expect that will be AM US time? Smiley

average person sleeps 8hours, give it 10hours so 12hours from dev post

that would be a nice rest, big news today!
all of the news are that theres gonna be news.

great.
2382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HEX]HEISENBERG HEX - OFFICIAL THREAD!![HEX] on: July 08, 2014, 02:51:24 PM
No need to be rude or call names.
Im not gonna share a marketing plan for a coin, which could be applied to any coin currently on the market, when the dev has a newbie account. Its just wrong. If you cannot put your name to a project, somethings wrong already.

Then coming out here and calling people names, when you dont even update the OP with new info when it comes out.

I'd rather concentrate on a coin that i do have a stock of and help them out instead in this case.

P.S. where have I called you names in this thread?  Just shows your maturity and/or age
2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HEX]HEISENBERG HEX - OFFICIAL THREAD!![HEX] on: July 08, 2014, 01:39:47 PM
Update:
Guys we have raised 0.00 bitcoin from the community to further the development of the coin. Sort of surprising, I thought everyone would want zerocoin anon and at least be willing to help out?  Huh

The dev team cannot do this alone, we must have community support to go forward with this project. So unless a miracle happens, and the community members decide to help out, this project is dead.

The dev team would not need to raise funds if the devs were actually the ones developing the features. You do not know what you're doing, so you need to hire professionals to do this right and expect the users to pay for it.

NOW, to make this fair and right, open up an escrow account to which the users can donate btc or any other crypto (you can convert later, geez...)
Set the donations goal (4btc or whatever) ppl donate (if you advertise this right, cause, to be fair, you do not have a strong community behind this coin)
if goal is reached, the hired guys will start coding (knowing that btc is gathered and are on the escrow account)
if the end product is what you wanted, you release the btc, if the dev fucks up - he does not get paid.

This way, you have extra trust from people who donate and the devs, and also: only devs that can actually do the job will apply.

Now you just want too much for too little if you ask me

You are right about me on all counts.

I step down as part of the dev team. (I never said I was a coin coder, I'm a web developer.) We stepped up to try and get this coin back on track when the original dev team went missing. After spending lots of my time and btc on this project, we are no closer to getting the price to move today then we were when I began work.

I nominate YOU to take my spot as you have a better grasp on how to get things done here. Maybe you can make our coins worth something?

I will leave the website up for 30 days.

Enjoy.

Ok, then what was ^ this all about?

Heisenair spends more time on other threads than his own coin, so sorry if I struck a note.
You are the ones disowning it, I am just a taker.

Hex can die out soon for all I care, I just thought I'd help out the community, not the devs.
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HEX]HEISENBERG HEX - OFFICIAL THREAD!![HEX] on: July 08, 2014, 12:16:10 PM
Bittick, why dont you work WITH Heisenberg to get this done? What you are saying sounds good, I want HEX to be worth something as well. I will keep the domain and website running.

Simply because I do not trust newbie accounts made with each new coin release.
I will also not share my plans, because nobody is doing the promotion the way I have it planned out.
If the current dev team will prove themselves, then I will come in contact with them. So far, I only see complaints and delays.

Now, I am not being rude, I am being direct. There is a difference.

If your community does not respond, means they are not rallied up/inspired properly.

My first plan of action would be actually getting the community up and expanding it (for which I have a great idea, just need one developer to sign up)

My developers are industry professionals in their fields. They have not heard of this forum even, since they are constantly busy with their corporate projects.
If they don't sign up, I will not do anything, but share the plans with the current devs (provided they have proven themselves by releasing at least one useful thing)
2385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HEX]HEISENBERG HEX - OFFICIAL THREAD!![HEX] on: July 08, 2014, 10:00:52 AM
So where's all the people who were working on, promoting and supporting this coin?

"thesocialbleme", "HeisenbergHEX", where are you guys?

I can't believe you guys are just going to up and abandon this coin!

Go back to the first post and read some of your stuff, do you not believe any more? It really would'nt take much work to get this thing moving again. A switch to PoS would be a real boost to the coin. All we need are people to code it and promote it, the rest will fall into place.

Well, I for one, am not abandoning HEX though there isn't much I can offer besides passion! Here's something that can help and it's easy and no expensive:

Go to https://www.coinpayments.net/vote and VOTE for HEX to be included in their system. They charge a SMALL fee for yoting payable as follows:

BTC - 0,001
LTC - 0.09036700
DOGE - 2836.545

And to anyone out there either having the needed skills to help or, knowing someone who does, or, is willing to seek out someone, please get involved! The coin can still be mined and a nice profit can be realized for not much effort if we can get things back on track.

Still here.

Problem with any new features is it costs BTC to get done. We did try to raise funds and fully intended to pay the shortfall to get this thing going. The problem was the community donated nothing, zero, nada... absolutely no funds. If the community wants features, but expects devs (with no premise) to pay everything simply isn't fair. The community essentially voted they didn't want the features by their actions.

I agree the coin has great potential, and a what we had planned would have boosted HEX big time. But as the saying goes, there's no such thing as a free lunch!

who owns the domains and the hosting?
I will host the website on my vps, and can take over the domain names as well.
Gathering professional programmers and software engineers at the moment for some serious developments for HEX.
I dont think we will need funding from community, but donations in HEX will be just fine for what I have in mind.

Bangomatic and myself. Bangomatic is running the site on his server for the community (THANKS BANGOMATIC:))

If you have an idea on how to do this without BTC, and only using HEX you can PM me Smiley
Well, if you want to do smth with HEX, do it, if not, let me take over once I get my funds and developers in line, and within 3 months HEX will be worth much more.
I will need community support and some effort though.

There was no development on your part, so I thought I would actually start doing stuff
2386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - alcurEX - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor on: July 08, 2014, 08:26:15 AM
Whats the word on algo change?

Why change something that's not broken?

X11 may be the current hot topic, but high NFactor coins are going to be minable on your GPUs much longer than X11.  One of the design principals of every algorithm in X11 is that it is easily parrallizable for hardware implementation (reference http://csrc.nist.gov/groups/ST/hash/sha-3/Round2/Aug2010/documents/papers/SCHAUMONT_SHA3.pdf ) - what kind of hash rate an algorithm has doesn't really matter since everyone has to use the same algorithm.  If it's high, then the network hashrate is just high - if everyone's is low, the whole network has a low hashrate, and the difficulty adjusts to keep the blocktimes within the target time.

As the NFactor goes up on MRC, the GPUs become memory limited and power consumption and heat go down as it spends more time doing memory operations than computations.  The other thing is that the hardware for mining high NFactor coins effectively is significantly less expensive than the hardware to mine X11, and additionally, CPU's can be used fairly effectively too (watt for watt they aren't there yet, but maybe at NF=16)

NFactor is old news if you are not developing services around the coin.
MRC has nothing going for it for nearly a year now... everybody was waiting for the damn alcurex. the ugliest exchange I have ever seen. and that changed nothing.

something needs to change.

change to X13, add anon, PoS, a few webstores, multipools and the price will increase

Are you joking about this "Tor integration" or do we still get a client with buildin Tor??
think about it, we are on developing nitesend on beta moving to the final, vootcould on development too, why did tor got release this way to show integration with tor, once developing is done a new wallet will be release.

I thought there was a bounty addressed to the Smoke Team to the implement this direct into the client. The only thing i find is that all references to that team are removed? Sounds fishy..

why do you think the dump began to happen?

Thank you for the nomination. I never meant to upset you or for you to step down; any support and all ideas are good, but we need to be looking for more enthusiastic people that CAN code and WANT to help out.

I can try to help after cryptokopen.eu is sold. Then I will have time and funds to take this to the next level

Once I get my head around paper wallets (I'm nearly there), BIP-38, private keys etc. I am going to be creating several paper wallets with balances of between 25 - 250 Million and visiting places across my region (Manchester, UK for now but It'll be other parts of the UK later in the year) to clue people up on crypto-currency (This is part of my day job anyway) and give out these wallets.

I will be looking for technical minded people, non-technical minded people, designers, even investors and people that have a general interest in IT and the crypto world.

Let me know if any of you guys are based in the UK and if you know of anyone that may be interested in helping or meeting up.

goving away millions of coins at a time is not smart AT ALL.

You want to distribute this coin evenly.
Yes, maybe now giving someone 500k is not much at all, but you will be increasing the strenght of your network (provided they actually upload the coins to their wallets and keep them online.)

nobody would take getting 25M for free seriously outside the crypto world, simply because they dont know how this works
