241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2023 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: October 01, 2023, 07:49:00 AM
São Paulo have just won the Copa do Brasil, an unprecedented title for the club, which they won against Flamengo
São Paulo will now prioritize the brasileirão and this could greatly improve the team's position in the league, while Flamengo seem to be entering a crisis again after they fired coach Sampaoli
The championship is going to be even more interesting from now  Grin

Yep, sure!!! It was an unprecedented and extremely important title for São Paulo! I'm glad he achieved this feat  Smiley

Talking about the Brasileirao, did anyone also bet on this round?
I was impressed with Fluminense's defeat to Cuiaba, by the way, i hope that neither Palmeiras nor Cruzeiro disappoint me in these games that we will have today

243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 30, 2023, 07:38:17 AM
Lillard, Middleton, Portis, Giannis and Lopez, could this be a potential Bucks starting lineup?

Portis might sit out because they'd become too big if he were included in the starting lineup, which would slow the team down. Additionally, Portis is a great player, so it would be nice to see him in the second unit. You can check out this article that discusses the potential lineup.

https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/bucks-starting-lineup-damian-lillard-trade-giannis-brook-lopez

POINT GUARD: Damian Lillard
SHOOTING GUARD: Khris Middleton
SMALL FORWARD: Jae Crowder
POWER FORWARD: Giannis Antetokounmpo
CENTER: Brook Lopez
Thank you! I'll access this link you shared

Looking from this perspective, this is true, Portis is a tall player and would slow down the entire team, but depending on the situation of the game, when Crowder or Antetokounmpo goes to rest, Portis could come in to temporarily replace them.
Well, I believe there are several different combinations that the Bucks can make with this new team, especially with Lillard on the squad!

245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 29, 2023, 04:47:04 AM
It's a jackpot deal for the Bucks, and I think no one expected this outcome of the Lillard drama. Lillard is probably more than happy with this deal because he will play for a team that can really contend for the title. By the way, it's also worth noting that the Bucks not only got Lillard but also potentially retained Giannis, who earlier said that he might leave the Bucks.
As for Middleton's role, he will most likely be SG in the starting lineup. There is no need for the Bucks to put him on the bench.
This proves once again... basketball is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get
This was also a big surprise for me and this proves that the East is coming with everything it needs to be champions of this NBA season

I'm looking forward to watch the Celtics in this season, but I confess that now I'm curious and eager to watch the Bucks as well.

Lillard, Middleton, Portis, Giannis and Lopez, could this be a potential Bucks starting lineup?
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 27, 2023, 04:57:29 AM
And if I'm not mistaken, it was supposedly the East that should dominate last season, with Giannis had a good run with the Bucks in the regular games. And also Boston Celtics, who has the formidable duo of Tatum and Brown and then former Celtic defensive specialist in Marcus Smart. And then the Sixers with Joel winning the MVP and James Harden at the helm.

But the Nuggets has total different mentally in the West. They take the lead, the Suns, Warriors and the Lakers falter with injuries and it seems the focus that time is Lebron breaking Kareem's record. So let's see if the East can bounce back again and win the NBA trophy for this season to even up.
I think this could be a good question! I was also hopeful that the East would win last season, but that didn't happen.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Celtics play soon (even if it's preseason)
I have no doubt that Tatum, Brown and others will do everything they can to become champions

O conceito por trás do Dead man's switch é bastante simples.

I confess that I am a little surprised by these statistics, they're impressive numbers!!!

As has already been said, I also believe that cryptocurrencies have facilitated access to online gambling, and I imagine that the trend will be to increase these numbers in accordance not only with the popularity of gambling, but also with payment methods and cryptocurrencies

251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 11, 2023, 03:59:57 AM
The last shot by Mikal Bridges brought the game to overtime. Unfortunately, the USA struggled in the extra period, and it appears they won't be getting the Bronze. It was the worst performance by the USA, and they need to be evaluated to prevent such occurrences in the future. I would like to congratulate Canada; they performed well tonight and beat the USA. Another seemed to be unsportsmanlike foul was called on Portis before the game ended; they were clearly frustrated.
What a game! It was an excellent shot from Bridges! I also realized this, in the overtime the US team "slowed down" and the Canadian team overcame them and took third place.

The USA actually had a terrible performance in this World Cup, sometimes I feel that the US team tries to save effort and they don't call up their best team, I believe they imagine, sending the "second unit or third unit" they could already be the champions, but I realized that this is not currently happening.
Even though the US team in this World Cup had a good quality, I have no doubt that if they sent their allstar players, the USA would easily become champions of this World Cup.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 10, 2023, 10:06:22 AM
The USA didn't play well against Canada. The third quarter is over, and Canada is leading by 9 points. We know that the USA won't give up, but they are in a precarious situation. Hopefully, they will be able to come back so I won't lose my bet on the moneyline. I'm also placing an extra bet on the USA moneyline with 3.40 odds. Good luck!
A few minutes have passed and the USA managed to tie the game...
I confess that I also bet on the US team, well, I believe if they maintain this performance, probably they will beat Canada (I hope so)
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: September 10, 2023, 09:57:00 AM
~snip~
Interestingly enough, the biggest disappointment of the last few generations - Neymar has already surpassed Pele in the number of goals for the national team. Now he has 79 goals, and the nearest playing pursuer has 20 (this is Richarlison). Neymar is not old yet and he can significantly improve this record, the question is whether he can win something serious.

Neymar is only 31 years old, so I'm sure he will be playing in the next World Cup.

That will probably be one of the last chances he will have to actually win it. The one after that will be a bit difficult really, as he will be a bit too old.

So, in my mind Brazil would have to win the next world cup for Neymar to prove himself.

But, realistically, Pele and Maradona will never be replaced by any modern player. Messi is great, but no one would put him over Maradona, aka D10S. Same with Pele.
Neymar is still young, but I have no doubt that his explosion, technique, speed and other attributes are not what they were 5 or 10 years ago.
I'm almost certain that he will be present at the 2026 World Cup and I hope that he also has teammates at his level, because if he doesn't, it will be difficult for him to lead Brazil to become champions of the next World Cup.

In my opinion, Neymar is at a similar level to Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo and others, I believe there is a considerable difference in comparing Neymar with Pelé
254  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Binance pede que usuários abandonem a moeda BUSD on: September 05, 2023, 03:14:00 AM

256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 30, 2023, 03:59:16 AM
Well, they may not have those star players but these players are still NBA players. Getting into the league is like a lottery because out of the many talented basketball players in the world, they are the chosen few so can be said that it's still a strong team but can be stronger with the stars.
Looking at your comment and analyzing the US basketball team, they're still an excellent team, even not with their star players but with a second unit (2nd team) or even a third unit (3rd team), they are a dangerous team and have chances to be the champions of this world cup... although, there are still other teams that are playing extremely good and that will be a great opponent for the US, mainly Canada!
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: August 30, 2023, 03:17:05 AM
I think Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and several other countries on the American continent make soccer the favorite there. Even though in America itself football is inferior to sports such as the NBA, it is hoped that the holding of the 2026 World Cup this time will be a good opportunity to increase and attract audience interest in football in the region.

For the appointment of the World Cup host, FIFA has its own regulations in screening participants. Of course all countries have the right to volunteer to host, even the defending champions. However, FIFA prioritizes areas of the country that have minimal interest, this is done as a means of promotion and increasing interest in football itself.
Yes that's right. This will be their opportunity to develop and promote football so that it is more interested in it as a favorite sport. I often follow American football. Starting from getting "one-time use" players from Europe to now being able to export players to Europe. Indeed, the prestige of soccer in America is still inferior to other sporting events, but the progress of soccer in the United States is increasing from year to year.

I think that if America is serious about football, they can be more dangerous because they have the money to build FIFA standard infrastructure and everything that supports the quality of the players. So with them hosting the 2026 world cup I suspect they will continue to add so that in time the world cup will count.
That's true! With Messi negotiating to play in the United States and the next World Cup to be hosted there, I have no doubt, this will draw the attention of the whole world and will be a "game changer" for football in the US.
I believe, the United States is not a hegemony in football because it is not American culture to play football like in Brazil or other American countries. They have money and structure and that's a fact, if the Americans start looking at football in a different way, if they train and improve their techniques, I have no doubt in the next world cups they will be able to be champions, or at least to be among the top 3 of the world cup.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 24, 2023, 03:48:23 AM
Spain has performed very well since entering the semifinals by beating Sweden 2 - 1 and qualifying for the final against England until in the end Spain won the 2023 Women's World Cup thanks to the only goal scored by Carmona in the first round, the two of them competed very fiercely with attacking each other on goal but it was great for Spain to hold off the English attack and hold on to the lead until the second half ended.
This is the first title for Spain that has won the FIFA Women's World Cup trophy.

Previously, even Spain had never made it to the finals, but now they have a new record in the FIFA Women's World Cup, even the US, which won the most, namely 4 times, could not last until the semifinals.

There were quite a few upsets this time. Before the tournament started, Spain was not even in the top-5 list put up by different sportsbooks. Some of the favorites, such as United States got kicked out even before the quarter-final stage. France went down against Australia during QF. In the semis, England was the only top-5 team that managed to enter. And even they went down against Spain in the final. In a way, it was similar to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Quite a lot of upsets, and better performances from AFC and CAF teams.
I agree with what you said!
I believe, football is like a box of chocolates you never know what you are going to get
For example, i underestimated the spanish team and i bet that England would win, I had strong convictions that Sweden would win against Spain and again I lost lol
After all the Spanish team, they played extremely well and were champions! well deserved!
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 20, 2023, 10:08:13 AM
It's a good bet and entirely possible, England champions after the regular time
I haven't managed to place my bet yet, but I'm slightly inclined to bet on England being champions too, as most people are thinking
Yes, i have no doubt, will be a fierce game!!
It's hard to predict who will be the winner, I believe we will have a draw, and after all, England will overcome Spain!
I'm already watching the game right now and I'm looking forward to England's victory!
