Without Steph and Wiggins, and it could be an easy game for the Grizzlies to win, -8.5 for Memphis at 2.05.

Just sad that this two, who has built a rivalry in their playoff series will face off without Curry because for sure there will be a lot of trash talking here hehehe. Specially this is going to be in Chase center and for sure Memphis will want to bury the Warriors in their own homecourt.
Yes, this is a relevant observation as Curry and Wiggins are key players for GSW

But I confess that I am extremely surprised with the victory the Warriors had against the Gryzllies (that was my only bet, and I still lost lol)

Celtics vs Bucks game, I would imagine that the result of the game would not be very expressive, but Boston stood out and beat the Bucks with more than 20 score/points of difference.
542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World cup highest goal scorers update discussion on: December 25, 2022, 10:28:17 PM

With Messi seemingly set to play in the next World Cup, Mbappe may have to wait another World Cup to become the best all-time World Cups goalscorer.
Ultimately, I think Mbappe will probably play in 3 more World Cups and probably set a World Cup goalscoring record that will be very hard to beat.
However, much more important than that will be the fact whether France with Mbappe will be able to become world champions again?
Ultimately, these are the most important titles in football, which will decide who is the greatest footballer of all time, Messi or Mbappe.

The Messi era and the Mbappe era are clearly different. So, we can't compare them. after all, Argentina has won the world cup Qatar. and everyone agrees, even football legends say that Messi is the Goat.
To be honest, if Messi comes back to play in the next world cup. I will not support him anymore, because he is not consistent with what he has stated before.

As for Kylian Mbappe, Mbappe still has the opportunity to continue to participate in this 4 yearly event. he is still very young, Mbappe has the opportunity to create new records and achievements for him. but if only, Haaland could play for any national team, for example he became a naturalized England player. I believe Haaland is a tough rival for Mbappe to beat. unfortunately, Norway rarely qualify for the world cup stage.

However, for the level of league competition. I really believe, if Manchester City won the Champions League. Haaland will be one of the best players to get the Balon D'Or.
and I doubt whether France will be able to repeat and enter the final round of the world cup later.

in fact, I believe that other young talents will be born who are no less great than Mbappe.
Mbappe is a very interesting and rare player. Like a mixture of cristiano ronaldo and messi. Transforms into zlatan in the penalty area. There is no defender in the world that he can't beat. He sprints fifty to sixty meters in just a few seconds, a great athlete. If he's not injured, he'll just ruin all stats at the age of 25. For example, Haaland can't score if someone doesn't carry the ball to him, it's that simple, but mbappe doesn't need it either. Makes France a favorite in almost every single tournament for many years.

There are no words to say about his football. He showed it again to those who did not know or forgot what kind of football player he was in the world cup final. If he's upset because they lost the world cup, he shouldn't be sad because Mbappe lost with his head held high.
Mbappe is an athletic footballer. He is so gifted to have had the speed of an athlete and the skill of a footballer this gives his advantage to push ball and over take defenders when he plays from the left forward. Haaland also hustle for his balls outside the eighteen yard box but been a centre-forward and key striker he is meant to always position himself where he can get assists so he can convert them to goals.

I agree that Haaland and Mbappe will mark the next decade of world football and that they will probably replace the former great rivalry of Ronaldo and Messi.
However, Haaland has the misfortune of playing for the Norwegian national team, which is weak and will never be at the level of France, Argentina and Portugal.
This means that we will see the rivalry between Haaland and Mbappe exclusively in club football, while in representative football, Mbappe will have no competition when Messi retires as a player.
I'm sorry about that, but of course there is always hope that a new big football star will appear soon to rival Mbappe in national football, maybe some new Brazilian star?
Well, unfortunately I believe it's still too early to predict that.
Maybe the next star to shine competing against Mbappe or Haaland could still be in the U16, U18 or U19 category in some country in the world.
Unfortunately in Brazil it is very difficult to predict this, so far there is still no player at the same level or who has a bright future as Neymar, Brazil has excellent players, but unfortunately he is far from having that team of 2002 or 2006 ( Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Kaka, Cafu, Roberto Carlos and others)

It was difficult to make a perfect parlay these days.
@jakelyson had just 3 game parlay and yet it still didn't hit. I made 5 games of parlay and it's the worst result I have seen.  Cheesy
Yes, I even imagine that some NBA games are more unpredictable than some world cup games, like Morocco  Tongue Smiley (just kidding)

Anyway, we will have some interesting matches soon, for example Celtics vs Bucks, both are at the top of their conference, the same also applies to the Knicks vs 76ers, they are literally in the "same place" at the eastern conference

Let's see what the future will show us

I'm still torn between the Bucks vs Celtics here, yes the Celtics is struggling to put up a win, even at their own home court. Nevertheless, this is a big test for them, the 2 best team and they want to have that confident to remain on top and win this one against the visiting Bucks.

So I will go with Celtics here, -4.5 @1.88 still good odds for me to take and make a good and solid bet.

Best of luck.
I confess that it will be a close and interesting game to watch, it will be a competitive match.

Afterwards, the Golden State Warriors vs Memphis Grizzlies game will be an interesting match to watch (not as much as Celtics vs Bucks)
By the way, my pick for the night will be the Grizzlies, I believe they can beat the Warriors.
544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 25, 2022, 08:59:49 AM
You can't blame the whole Los Angele Lakers for that as the Charlotte Hornets really have a hot shooting on that game. They just established their season-best on that game shooting 55.3% from the field. It's not usual for the Hornets though that's why it's understandable that you put your trust in the Lakers during the live game and decided to place a bet on them.

But seeing the odds on your screenshot, it's a @2.5 Moneyline for the Lakers meaning they are behind during you place your bet.

How many scores are they trying to rally on when you place your bet? Regardless, better luck next time.

Lakers was pretty good despite the odds actually, except third period. They had a chance to go overtime or win the game a couple of times but wrong choices and missed shots made them lose the game. LeBron's shoe was out in last position, that resume the game. If LeBron play like leader again when AD is out, Lakers can get a couple of wins. Thomas Bryant use this opportunity pretty good so far. Even if AD comes back I believe Bryant still have some good amount of playing time.

Lebron is the best scorer for the Lakers in that game. What do you mean by if Lebron plays like a leader they can win that game? That does not make sense as when Lebron came to the Lakers, don't expect him to have that same performance during his prime.

Not all the time the Lakers should rely on him.

Isn't those young cores should do the adjustment instead of relying on the Lakers' fate on a 38-year-old guy?

But let's not just talk about the Lakers here as, in that game, the Hornets really gave their best.
Well, LeBron James is doing his part during the games, but these days he can't carry the team on his back, especially right now, because he will turn 38 years in a few days.
I believe in most games, LJ manages to score 20 points or more, but unfortunately the rest of the Lakers players are not at the same pace and therefore, it could be a problem, there is no point in LJ scoring 30 points in a game and their teammates manage to score even 10 points.

The truth is that, for LeBron James to be that feared and dangerous player like before, he will need a duo, for example in the Cavaliers, where LeBron James made a perfect duo with Kyrie Irving (I would even include Kevin Love, becoming a trio), another relevant time was when LJ was in Miami, LJ + Wade + Bosh was a lethal and very efficient trio.
Already in the Lakers, LJ was making a good duo with AD, but unfortunately Davis is getting injured frequently, and alone, LJ can't carry the team on his back. Another player that could be a fundamental piece and that would certainly improve the Lakers is Westbrook, thus becoming an excellent trio (LJ + AD + Westbrook), but as I said, unfortunately that did not happen.

If AD doesn't manage to recover in time, I speculate that LAL will hardly get a playoff spot, but if they do, they will probably be eliminated quickly.

Yes, I also agree with that.
I believe that this is the end of the Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo era and a new wave of players is coming, each one with a different and even unique characteristic. Speed, skill, strength or even a mix of these skills.

I still believe that Mbappe will still surprise many people in the future, the goals he scored in the final of the World Cup against Argentina in a few minutes of difference is surreal, detail, he has just turned 24.

I'm curious to know what the next "era" of these new great players will look like!
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 24, 2022, 09:49:19 PM
Yes, LeBron James Jr. (Bronny) will be eligible for the 2024 Draft.

Quote
Initially, NBA Draft Room predicted Bronny being drafted no. 34 overall in the 2024 NBA Draft
Source: https://www.thefocus.news/sports/nba/when-will-bronny-james-be-drafted-in-the-nba/

Regarding to your 2nd question, yes, it will be the first time in the NBA History to see a father-and-son duo. As we all know, LeBron have said that he will be spending his final years in the NBA playing with his son, so it's safe to say that he will do whatever it takes to get into that team where Bronny will be drafted.
Wow, I confess I didn't know that! Thank you for this information
I even imagine this could happen...
I speculate that LeBron James will retire on his hometown team (Cavs) and he will do anything to get Bronny drafted to the Cavaliers after that, maybe 1 or 2 seasons playing together (LJ + Bronny), possibly LeBron will retire.
And I also don't doubt that by then Bryce will also be drafted to the NBA, lately he's been performing very well and he's grown a lot lately.
Well, this is just speculation on my part.

Changing the topic of conversation...

Unfortunately AD was injured again, and will be away for a indetermined time...
Guys, what do you think about this? Even without AD, will the Lakers have a chance to stand out in the regular season and go to the playoffs?

Lakers will face the Hornets, I believe it will be an easy game for the Lakers, but I have no doubt that AD will be greatly absence for his team

That is indeed possible, we all know that LeBron will have the liberty by that time to force a trade and finish his contract somewhere else like the Cavaliers for example where he got drafted and where his home team is, and most importantly to the team where his son, Bronny, will get drafted. That will be a history and the Cavs will surely want that to happen on their team.

Yes, Anthony Davis will be away indefinitely for now because of the injury he sustained. Yet the people aren't surprised by it because he's just too prone to expect that he will be healthy all year long without any injury on the process. Might be possible, but the chances are just slim. And just like what I've thought, the Lakers fell short again because of their inconsistency.

Yes this is true!
Unfortunately this is not a good season for the Lakers, they have a good roster, experienced and quality players, but unfortunately they are having a bad season!

I feel bad because AD is suffering these injuries frequently, he is only 29 years old and he is getting injured very often!
I don't know if it's because of his genetics or it could also be because he's overtraining, he's training or playing much higher than his body is supporting, I don't know, I hope he can improve soon and be back on the courts, because he does a huge loss for the Lakers!
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 24, 2022, 09:41:21 PM
It's amazing how the Lakers can lose an "easy" game. The performance that the Hornets are having during this season is low (9W - 24L), even so LA managed to lose the game, but at the same time this victory was due to the Hornets players, in which 3 players scored more than 20 points.

Still no Davis, so they are vulnerable to losing, even from a team with no good record this season. Honestly, I didn't watch this game as I don't find it interesting to watch, I was watching the Blazers vs Nuggets, and was thinking Blazers will give the home team a good challenge, but unfortunately they easily melt in the 2nd half.
I believe that "any team" without a big player is a vulnerable team.
Another example was in the previous game, Lakers vs Kings, AD did not play, and the amount of rebounds the Kings had was extremely high.

The game against the Hornets at first was competitive, but as time went by, the Lakers lost pace and the Hornets took control of the game.

Lakers will now face the Mavericks, it will be a competitive game, if the Lakers made some mistakes during the game, I have no doubt that the Mavs will win this game, even more so that the Lakers are without AD.

Does anyone have a good parlay win today? I didn't win any.  Cheesy
Don't worry, you're not alone, I confess I didn't win anything either lol
My only hope was in the Lakers game, but even so they lost, I admit I wasn't expecting this LA loss

Lakers are the slight favorite even without AD, bookies seen the advantage and with how the readers and bettors show their interest for Lakers it is something that it might take place.

Still going to depend on how the players will take care of their business and how they will organize
both the offense and defense, looking to see if how LeBron will orchestrate and execute their game plan.

Good Luck!

My picks for today's game,

Orlando Magic VS San Antonio Spurs

The stake odds for this game are 1.40 for the Magic and 3.10 for the Spurs, Right now Jonathan Isaac, Chuma Okeke, and Jalen Suggs can not play for the Magic, while the Spurs are completely 100% healthy for me even though with that 3 injuries I am still going with the Orlando Magic,

Brooklyn Nets VS Milwaukee Bucks

The stake odds for this game are 1.73 for the Nets and 2.17 for the Bucks, Right now Joe Harris is questionable if he can play or not, while Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo are questionable if they can play for the Bucks, but I think this could be a win for the Nets, I know that the Bucks is on the 1st spot of the standing but for this game, the Nets could win this,

Oklahoma City Thunder VS New Orleans Pelicans

The stake odds for this game are 1.75 for the Thunders and 2.14 for the Pelicans, right now Ousmane Dieng, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl can not play for the Thunders and Jaylin Williams is questionable if he can play for the Thunders but we all know Chet Holmgren is out of season aswell, while E.J. Liddell, Brandon Ingram, and Zion Williamson can not play for the Pelicans while CJ McCollum and Larry Nance Jr. is questionable if they can play for the Pelicans, so because of the number for injuries and questionable I think I will go with the Thunders,

Los Angeles Lakers VS Charlotte Hornets

The stake odds for this game are 1.67 for the Lakers and 2.27 for the Hornets, Right now Anthony Davis and Juan Toscano-Anderson can not play for the Lakers, while Austin Reaves, Russell Westbrook, and LeBron James are questionable if they can play, while Cody Martin, can not play for the Hornets, while Dennis Smith Jr. and Terry Rozier is questionable if they can play for the Hornets, for me this could be a close match, but if Lebron, Westbrick, and Reaves can play this is a win for the Lakers but if they can't other players for the Lakers will surely struggle, but I am going with the Lakers but my bet could be switch to the other side so it depends,

I even forgot to comment, but the same here.

I only bet on this Lakers VS Hornets game.
I believe he is the most predictable (or maybe not) that the Lakers will win!

Let's see what the future will show us!

By the way, good luck everyone!

Crypto gambling keeps growing faster than Fiat gambling, it's good to see that the masses now favours crypto for gambling than using Fiat but the only issue I have with crypto is the security, data breach and co so I want to know if hiding my IP on a crypto gambling website is secure? I am going with a premium sub of express VPN. If you think otherwise please tell me.
Although I do not have in-depth knowledge in this area, I emphasize what has been said before... be careful with using VPN, I believe that in several sites/platforms they prohibit the use of VPN (I know they can there are exceptions, but most prohibit the use of VPN), inform yourself beforehand so that you don't have problems in the future.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 23, 2022, 10:25:46 PM
Lakers are a tire fire and need to get rid of anyone they can and start a rebuild. They are an embarrassment to Los Angeles honestly. Seems like it's where veterans go to die. Lakers in the 80's were excitement, same for the 90's and the early 2000's. Now they're a joke.
Yes, you are right!
Honestly I don't understand what's going on with the Lakers, it's unfortunate!
With the roster that the Lakers have, I have no doubt that they have the ability to be one of the best teams in the league, including being champions of the season.

But something is happening that not even the players or the team can solve, I don't know if it's some players' ego, lack of chemistry between the team, the staff, or something like that.

I performed some analysis on the game statistics of the Lakers against the Kings.
The lack that AD makes on the team is clear!

Sabonis got 21 rebounds in that game, I know it was his credit, but if AD was playing, I believe that number would be less.

Lakers got only 5 offensive rebounds, already the Kings got twice, 10 offensive rebounds!

LJ can't carry the Lakers on his back like he did in Cleveland...

It will take big changes to the team (or not) so that the Lakers don't sink further and make the situation worse!

Let's bet again, we quite have a lot of games to bet on later. Pick you poison folks. GL!
Here's mine:

Portland Trail Blazers vs Denver Nuggets -4.5
Memphis Grizzlies -2.5 vs Phoenix Suns
Charlotte Hornets vs Los Angeles Lakers -3

Yes, and that's what happened!!

I will be looking forward to the Lakers game against the Hornets, I believe Los Angeles will win easily, even though AD is injured (again), because the Hornets are in a bad phase.
555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 22, 2022, 10:55:06 PM
Same here, no doubts as well for the Jazz to defeat the Wizards later. It might be a close game but I know that the Jazz will definitely have a good night and grab the win in their favor. The same with the Pelicans, they might have a hard time because Zion and Ingram won't be with the team this time but I know they can find some ways while the Spurs are tanking.
I believe that will be the prevailing opinion, and I also believe that the Pelicans will win the game and regarding the other game tonight, the Jazz will beat the Wizards (of course this is just my simple analysis) Although, some of these teams important players will not play, thus making a considerable lack for the team.
556  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 22, 2022, 10:46:06 PM
It is just too unfortunate for Davis for being a prone to injury kind of player. His height and skills will surely benefit any team that will get him signed, but what's the use of those talents if the user is not available at all times.

And for LeBron's legacy, we will see it in the near future if LeBron James can do that and figure out some things that will make him relevant, moreover, it's obvious that there will be teams in the league that will cater their needs and to be part of the history because it's rare to see a father and son duo, what more if there's three James wearing the same jersey. I've looked it up on the internet, it says that Bronny James is eligible to play and get drafted in 2024.
I confess that sometimes I miss AD in his prime, like when he made an excellent duo with Cousisn.
Over time, unfortunately some players are more likely to get injured (this is not a rule, but it happens several times) That's why it's always good for players to always be doing exercises for muscle strengthening and medical follow-up.

Regarding the James family, is it serious that in 2024 Bronny is already eligible to be drafted in the NBA!!? wow, how time flies!

I believe this could be the first time that father and son play in the NBA together, isn't it? Or am I wrong?
557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 16, 2022, 05:36:58 AM
They tried to compare him with Wembanyama which I really didn't find any significant on gameplay, they are hyping the kid to get huge attention but it didn't justify yet the comparison. But its undeniable that Bol Bol improve this season maybe he need to sustain or improve more his performance and make sure that he's always in good shape maybe those past issues will gone to him 25.6 minutes playing time is decent already so he need to be more consistent to sustain that minutes and got decent exposure on court.
Well, talking about this subject

Guys, I would like to know your opinion about Wembanyama and other future unicorns that may exist in the NBA.

Do you believe that the NBA will have several players with this profile in the future? Regarding your body type, taller than (213 cm/7'0"), fast, with great ball handling and an excellent shot? (for example Wembanyama, Porziņģis (in his prime), BolBol, Holmegreen and others?)
Dont forget KD, we can say it started with him. A guard with the height of a center who can shoot, agile, and ball handling is in a different level, he may be better than most of the guards in the league.

About the question of whether we are going to see players who will have the same type of skills, yes, I do believe we will.
It's a different era now, if you can shoot you gain more chances to be drafted, unlike before when height and body figure is all that matters.
I won't say that it's not a dominating factor anymore as we still have Giannis, Jokic, and Embiid who are dominating the league but shooting is always a big plus.
Yes, you're right... I even believe that Durant could be a unicorn, but these days, it seems that concept has changed.
The new unicorns that are entering the NBA are tall, acima de 7'0 (213 cm) ou até mesmo mais altos!

Looking at the third place match, I believe that Morocco has higher chances of a win when compared to Croatia. During their semi-final match, Morocco played against France much better than what Croatia managed against Argentina. And given their strong performance so far, Morocco deserves another win tomorrow. I am actually feeling sad that the world cup is coming to an end. Now we need to wait for another 4 years to see this sort of global competition where teams from all around the world compete against each other.
well, I confess that game between Morocco and Croatia will be competitive and interesting match.
I believe this is the first world cup that a Moroccan team will compete for 3rd place.
I have no doubt that Croatia's team has more technique and skill compared to Morocco. But on the other hand, I noticed that Morocco is playing like there's no tomorrow, always giving their best

The games are actually getting more interesting day by day, but the finals will be particularly exciting because both teams will want to win. My main concern right now is Morocco, and I hope they take third because I believe they deserve it after putting in so much effort. I'm not worried about France because I know they will deliver the cup fully to them, and Argentina should take second because I'm still upset that Brazil and England were eliminated. Grin
Same here... I would really like Croatia and Morocco to go to the finals!
The level of Croatian football had an interesting evolution, and in the cup in 2018 they had a totally satisfactory performance, and in 2022 they had the chance to play again in the finals of the world cup, but unfortunately that did not happen...

Morocco's performance was totally extraordinary, several people I know commented on the level of Moroccan football, they cannot have the technique that an elite team has, for example Brazil, Germany, France and others, but Morocco gave the best of themselves in that cup, they played with a lot of spirit and that made a significant difference for that team.
