Mmm... general comment
Look at the last 30 days profitability:
2014-04-21 0.00689 BTC / Mhs Per Day with LTC at 0.00483 BTC / Mhs Per Day ( Great!)
Steady decline of LTC to 0.00288 BTC / Mhs / Day with Pool profitability struggling to stay above it (albeit with some nice peaks along the way) at 0.00303 BTC / Mhs / Day with preceeding 4 days below LTC
Now I absolutely love CM, the concept, the stats, simplicity etc. But fearing next 30 days will see LTC sub 0.002 and the 'Dry Altcoin Market' prevailing...
Not FUD - I have been so near to investing in a number of ASICs direct from China but keep holding back! Last week I had convinced myself of ROI in around 3 -4 months but now?
Great to see BTC climbing a big wall in past 24 hours with a significant pump but I wonder how much this will help the Altcoin market and the multi-switching-pools generally?
Where are you getting 0.00689/MHs/Day??? BTC is going up, so ROI should go down a bit. Coin price will hopefully stay the same or go up. CM Profitability was 0.00689 BTC / Mhs / Day on 21st April 2014 per their 'Last 30 Day Profitability' chart. Oh. Well, when CM was in beta, we had 0.015 BTC/MHs/Day. Huge decline, i'd say. Unfortunately so! Still - I will keep plugging away!

There is much wisdom to be found about the future of mining but who can really know what will happen a month, 3 months, a year from now?
One thing's for sure and that ASICs are here but what does that actually mean in real terms? They have been around for a while now from the lowly GS Dual and then its big brother the G-Blade and so on...
With the the GS Dual doing 0.36 m/hs at 5w (fanless on scrypt) and the Blade doing 5.2 m/hs at 140w, then on to 30, 60, 90 m/hs all at under 1KW, will we just see a gradual, or not so gradual, 'switching off' of GPU rigs and their m'hash being replaced by ASIC hashing? Can miners with a dozen or so rigs afford to replace these with the equivalent or more in ASICs at 'new' pricing? I just don't know. Will GPU miners keep there rigs running at a loss in the hope of a BTC and associated LTC / ALTcoin bubble?
We could face a cataclysmic decline in BTC et al following who knows what 'event' and ensuing media FUD such as the MTGox fiasco; similarly, we could face an ecstatic event such as rapid wider acceptance of BTC creating brisk buying doubling its value again...
I'm now definitely looking to turn off power hungry GPUs and make some hard decisions. Do we have enough faith in the future of Cryptocurrency in general terms to convince ourselves to invest further?
Quite frankly, right at this point, I do not know! Apologies for the 'lack of an answer' but just sharing my thoughts...
EDITED:
As a footnote; look at the switching multipools with drastically reduced hashrates - bet your bottom dollar the big boys at the top on ASICS are still there, with the Hash reduction down in the 10 - 50 m/hs region...

hope the coin get success
Success , that would be a failure for a fail coin , wouldn't it? Exactly so! Success = Epic Failure!

MineP.it updated their pool. Check it out - It looks BEAUTIFUL! MineP.it - boy, you did it again! Another level!

It was very problematic back then. I'm still not sure if everyone got all the coins they were due or not but if you're missing any still just let me know and I'll try sort it. Hopefully now with the new wallets etc everything will be a lot smoother Smiley Great stuff - can't say I noticed any missing...

Just hope holders don't just dump... FAIL deserves to be treated well Ah, you can't stop dumpers. What we need to focus on is making the coin truly worth something so that in the near future those dumpers at 1 satoshi will regret it Unfortunately so true... I completely agree! PS I still love MinePit! Makes such a refreshing change from all the MPOS! Have only got a CPU pointed there on FAIL at the mo as rest of hash trying to build up some funds elsewhere. I'll be back on it properly soon though. FAIL Team are doing a great job We're launching v3 of the site hopefully later today. It's going to be an even more drastic departure from MPOS! Oooh wat! Can't keep up with you guys! PS Ty for sorting out that FAIL payment issue few weeks ago - customer service is key!

All I can say after seeing the item on Sky News the other night is - great... This raises the general public's awareness of cryptocurrency in general and helps to counteract all the negativity i.e. Chinese/Russian stance on BTC, mt.gox etc. etc. etc. Of great interest is the statement that DWP do NOT consider crypto as income... If one of our City Councils is actively promoting the use of crypto then the wider acceptance cause, hopefully, must be aided. I did chuckle at their super-dooper mining rig..!
