I finally had time to test the CoinRecycler and I can confirm what was said in some past posts: it does NOT work in the web NOR in the wallet... so maybe it is why nobody is buying the code... It's a pity, the coin works very fine, it's fast and stakes well... maybe could be a good idea to release the portion of code you wrote and make it opensource for everyone to fix it and make it work properly. For sure you have a lot of MAST in your wallet so if the coin start being what it was supposed to be, you'll have a big gain. Think about it. mass We have not reached a deal with anyone yet. Unfortunately, the interested groups have all basically just wanted to hire us as a development team to work for them, which isn't what we're looking for at all. Send us a message on bitcointalk if you're interested in actively developing MastCoin, having the community take over, or anything related. The CoinRecycler service has been offline for a while, for the same reason that development on the coin has stalled - the development team simply does not have time to maintain it. The CoinRecycler code works well, but does need occasional maintenance, as it interacts with each supported coin's wallet locally and exchange APIs remotely. All the code for the coin, including its interaction with the CoinRecycler service is open source and on Github. However, CoinRecycler itself is proprietary as we've spent a lot of time developing it. We're willing to discuss selling it or releasing it to an interested party that would take over continued MastCoin development, but are not currently planning to freely open source it. As cryptomass mentioned, one good piece of news is that the coin itself continues to work perfectly and there are no issues with the blockchain, wallets, transactions, exchanges, etc. hi dev please help me

The Dev skillfully tricked us to believe his fake promises of a great coin able to compete with BC or LiteCoin. He thought it was enough to reduce the size of the coin to get it to Saturn, but his calculations went wrong and he's no where to be found. Just another crypto-coin sad story. Really sad... also nothing of this has been delivered : "We are looking forward to attract vendors, because they are crucial for real world usage. To do so the SAT² blockchain will be used not just to store information about transactions, but specific kinds of information related to transaction or people/entities involved, depending on what sellers need to be sure about safety of transactions, and what sellers are willing to share. In this way the use of SAT² will be safer and protected by the buyer-seller themselves, without any central control. Informations stored in the blockchain, transaction after transaction, would build a history building up transaction safety. In parallel to this there will be another application, using the blockchain as an advanced storage system for specific applications and distributed data services, but on this one we can’t reveal much more at the moment. The features that are being worked on are strongly geared towards real-world adoption, for usage by anyone online (including those who don’t use crypto directly at all). Think of open API integrations into non-crypto systems (and think beyond the bounds of only transferring money). The possibilities are endless. And the opportunities for bringing new concepts closer to the general “non-crypto” public are huge". I wonder if those were just words, like Zetacoin Ann, or they really tried to do it... Big names in crypto were involved for that premine thing and also a few people knew days in advance about the coin reduction and profited from the rise in price... I don't undestand what Dev's up to. They're letting the coin die but then spend 1 bitcoin every 2 weeks to keep it afloat.
They probably buy&sell or sell&buy, so they actually spend only the transaction fees, not the whole amount. Still, I don't understand why they keep the coin alive with no active developement going on. Hopefully they are working behind the scene or making contacts to let someone else continue from where they have left! |

Especially if you don't look at that just as a way to get rid of your bags.
Thinking from a merchant point of view, accepting one single cryptocurrency instead of the many out there could be very useful.
If i had an e-commerce i would only accept FIAT and MAST (of course assuming the CR worked) as cryptocurrency.
At that point it would be good to call it CoinConverter instead.
I trusted Dev for long and always thought he was legit and don't know what to think now.
A community takeover, if possible, could save this coin and take it to the level it deserves.
I still hope so.
that's not the same as having a single strong (i wish mast would have been so) currency without the hassle of going each time to an exchange. |

Here's my thing. Who the f*ck is Coin Proz? Like it means something to anyone?! I don't know who they/you are and the site reminds me of scam crap the devs of PayPro made. IF the devs here were in contact with ANYONE why don't they post using their account here. I will stand corrected if they make an official statement but for now I am left to think that you are just a desperate investor trying to act as a PR guy to build up the value. If Coin Proz is the future of Mast, enjoy my coins! A GoDaddy template would have been better then what that site looks like. Maybe at the end of the day I'll look like the idiot but seriously Mast is dead and I still have my doubts that the recycler even worked from the get go. Good way for the dev to dump coins on us all while taking the other coins on the cheap and then pumping those to increase his scandalous gains further. I stuck around for a while and questioned things as any logical person would do, the dev team offered me nothing except a go F*ck yourself if you don't believe us. As stated before, I asked about future plans and such and what they had to offer investors. My answer was bitter sweet. "We don't care about investors, we only care about the integrity of the coin". I see none of that now.... I will buy this coin when it reaches 1 sat. I jokingly offered to sell at this price before. Now I non-jokingly want to buy up the boat when it goes to nothing...

To be quite honest they don't NEED to do anything for the Mastcoin community, and it was for innovation until the FUDDERS came in and started the digital terrorism campaign. where are the fanboys who were defending the devs  do you understand now that dev left and he doesn't give a shit about the coin ?? i bet they made another coin look at the new coins it is not hard to find... Being overbusy with my real life job I understand devs not working fulltime or even parttime on this coin. What has been done works well, better than other coins and with no forks etc. I think crypto is sick, people want devs in general to keep a frenetic pace of updates etc and get rich overnight, otherwise they dump and kill the coin. I hope devs haven't abandoned MAST and that those yelling about taking over it could work toghether wit devs and get the coin back on track. MAST could be the best coin ever. vir6 I don't know if dev has started another coin, I can't be on my pc more than a few minutes per day, maybe you could point it out for us to see it |

A second PoW period is still under discussion, but it does appear to be the best available solution to growing the MastCoin community, barring a substantial change in the current situation. Keep in mind that if adding a second PoW period increases the size and involvement of the community, it likely will increase the value of each coin, regardless of any increase in the total number of coins.
One solution to reducing any potential impact from increasing the number of coins would be to keep the total number roughly the same by lowering the PoS interest percentage to compensate.
My initial guess would be that if there was a second PoW period, it would not have SuperBlocks, and it would take place over a longer timeframe than the first one.
what if the generation of new mast would be done only in ways different than with traditional mining? we already have pos, pot also could be added if not too difficult to implement. this would attract merchants as well. also as has been already proposed, there could be a bonus each time someone recycles, a por, proof of recycle. sidenote: i understand when dev stays away from mast for days for lack of time to spare for this project. i would also like to be more active as mast is my favourite coin, but i am in the peak of my real life job untill the end of august so for now i can only put little time in it. in a few weeks i'll be more present. mass |

i'm not a webmaster but if website is taken down i can make another one.

Marketing is not what we think we need. We need community involvement, and the easiest, initial thing for a community to do is to help with marketing and promotion. Obviously we would love to see 10 people volunteer to start helping with coding up 30 new amazing wallet features, but that's an unreasonable expectation.
