If you are interested in helping with marketing, please quote this post and let me know and I will try to put a group of us together to brainstorm. Maybe outside this thread.

There are lots of good marketing possibilities available through fiverr.com - people willing to tweet, make videos, etc. for minimal cost. The important thing to realize with marketing is that one individual item is not likely going to yield significant results. Sustained, continual effort is what's needed, on a widespread basis from as many people as possible.

marketing is what they think they need.

but in reality it's all about showing you are serious, can deliver fast release, give ETA... and investors will naturally come, big guys tweet about it...

anyway, good luck.

we need both.

There are literally tons of things that successful coins need, beyond core development. Marketing and promotion are just one area. Supporting ecosystem items like games, dice sites, 3rd party block explorer, faucets, rich list, paper wallets, merchant contacts, and anything else you can think of would be useful and welcomed. These items are just examples to get started, and aren't in any particular order of utility.

A second PoW period is currently up for discussion. One way to balance an increase in coins is to reduce the amount of PoS interest, as seattletu has suggested.

Before we start marketing, we need someone to create a marketing plan for us to follow,
otherwise we're just blind horses running in all directions.

And stop shitting on the dev like he owes anybody anything. Offer your help instead.

Marketing is not what we think we need. We need community involvement, and the easiest, initial thing for a community to do is to help with marketing and promotion. Obviously we would love to see 10 people volunteer to start helping with coding up 30 new amazing wallet features, but that's an unreasonable expectation.

that is a point. i don't think among us there are ppl able to code, even easy things like dice and rich list.
should we get someone to help from outside maybe.

no no

you only need to prove you are serious, can deliver things fast and give ETA.

then investors will naturally come and big guys tweet about it that's how it works.

If the two of you are so unhappy and disinterested, why not find another coin? There's no need to continue to post uselessly on this thread if you are not SOLUTION-oriented. Your posts are not helpful, and only serve to alienate those that are interested in productively working to improve the status quo here.

Or even better yet, actually help us if you think you're capable of doing a better job Smiley

do you think vericoin or cloakcoin or darkcoin made a lot of marketing ?

no ! they have devs who post videos of their works, always giving ETA, posting many times a day, white paper...

That is marketing.

That is marketing.

They have community management teams. The developers themselves are rarely posting things like that on most coins, actually. Less than we've done with MAST so far in fact.

For about the 10th time in the last 2 hours, I'm going to ask everyone for constructive discussion, ideas, and input. What can you help with to increase interest in MAST?

I haven't heard anyone step up and offer anything so far -- and there has only been minimal input on the suggestions for discussion that we've made here.

damn you really don't want to open your eyes

you know what ? do what you want, i'm not in this anymore, just remember i warned you about what to do, but i guess you know more about online marketing than someone who do that for a living.

also get ready to make another website by yourself, after being treated like that i will not be able to keep it online for a long time...

and i cannot control the investors who have followed me and have about 200k so i guess some dumps are coming...

thanks to etoque and kakp who understand what's really going on, the others are blind.

it was a fun ride.

Thanks. Now, maybe the rest of us can get on with having a productive discussion?
