I don't use MtGox, but I heard it can take weeks to get out your dollars, euros etc.. Because of that the price of bitcoin is much higher there.

Whats the price of bitcoin have to do with delays selling at mtgoox?
246  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC-E Question on: November 19, 2013, 04:24:48 PM
What about delays in buying BTC at BTC-e.  From the time you put the buy order in at the sell price, to the time you are able to withdraw the BTC? Is There a delay here?

How about MTGox.  Is there a delay in depositing BTC into your account there?

Just trying to figure out what the average delays are.
247  Economy / Service Discussion / BTC-E Question on: November 19, 2013, 01:23:41 PM
Does anyone know the Average time it takes once you decide to buy Bitcoin at BTC-E to when you are able to move the BTC to your personal BTC address?  Is there usually a delay with these things, or is it within minutes?
248  Other / Off-topic / 3D Printing Guns on: November 08, 2013, 02:15:41 PM
This is so off topic, but are any of you guys involved in 3D Printing at all?  I ask because most of you are very tech savvy.  I just got a makerbot Replicator last week, and am loving it.  What do you guys think the future holds for 3D Printing. On a separate note, this metal gun was just 3d Printed yesterday.  Pretty crazy! http://3dprintboard.com/showthread.php?439-First-True-Working-Metal-Gun-3D-Printed!

Anybody think that this recent spike in bitcoin could be this new trust buying it up... along with other things of course.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and CrowdFunding: Pozible Starts Accepting Bitcoin! on: November 08, 2013, 02:11:33 PM
I think sometime in 2015 we will see the first major corporation start using btc.  Amazon or Paypal.  Paypal is already hinting at it.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin and CrowdFunding: Pozible Starts Accepting Bitcoin! on: October 29, 2013, 02:18:22 AM
This is more awesome news for Bitcoin.  Pozible.com, one of the more popular rewards based crowdfunding sites, particularly in Australia has announced today that they will begin accepting Bitcoin as a means of funding:

Do you guys think this is a trend?  Will the even bigger platforms like Kickstarter and indiegogo turn to Bitcoin soon as well?

253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is New York Going too far? on: August 12, 2013, 10:31:13 PM
As you may be aware, today's news: http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r398092-.html

Do you think this is going too far?  Will other States follow in their footsteps.  On one hand I do think that the whole drug issues around Bitcoin may be hurting those using it legitimately.

256  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment 1% Per day - Is it real? on: June 08, 2013, 11:24:36 PM
Yeah I agree, however there are very lucrative investments out there that are extremely risky.  If you have an investment that pay 200% annually but only works out 50% of the time it's still an investment, just a very risky one.
257  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin investment 1% Per day - Is it real? on: June 08, 2013, 10:42:22 PM
What's your opinion?  Is this thing legit?

Well it appears that Liberty Reserve is now done.  This would be an excellent time to see Bitcoin step in an fill their gap.  That's a $200 million gap!
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crowdfunding and Bitcoin? The Tag Team to Kill The Banks! on: June 02, 2013, 07:04:01 PM
I think it will happen, however first Bitcoin needs to become more widespread, and then equity crowdfunding needs to be legalized in the United states.  When those two things happen, watch out!
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crowdfunding and Bitcoin? The Tag Team to Kill The Banks! on: May 13, 2013, 01:41:27 PM
I totally agree that Bitcoin could really be a boon for Crowdfunding.  Also, there are 2 platforms in the crowdfunding niche which already take solely bitcoin, so it's not a new concept I guess.
