241  Economy / Lending / Re: Question about a loan without collateral on: June 17, 2015, 05:37:49 PM
If i was to lend any money I wouldn't lend more than 0.3 , not atleast without any collateral. Getting you a negative trust after you default on a loan would do no good to the lender , so risking big is not worth it even for a trusted member.
242  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sr Member Account for auction! on: June 17, 2015, 05:32:05 PM
I have to say that green trust is in depth 4...
So starting bid 0.42BTC

Waitting for first bidder.
Does having trust in depth 4 mean if I was to leave trust on someone then it will show as green or red to everyone on the forum or will it be only shown to me ? and what trust is it for ?
243  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin for cash on mostly any online casino! on: June 17, 2015, 05:28:58 PM
Why not sell it directly ? Selling it directly and transferring it to a gambling site would mean the same thing. And I doubt people would consider this legit. Buying from market is better.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 17, 2015, 05:23:28 PM
i feel alive when i gamble
How is that so ?
I have lost so much on gambling that if I roll something like under 99 , the number comes more than 99 just too many time :/ Overall has made me into a degen.

that sounds like an addiction honestly; if you read my short paragraph above, if gambling is the only thing that makes you feel happy or alive, there might be a real addiction here; a dependency on gambling to feel pleasure.

It sounds like he is talking about sniffing cocaine honestly, haha. You may feel alive when you win but im sure you feel like shit when you lose your money, the problem is that if you keep coming back and you cant stop that means you are addicted just like cocaine addicts or any other drug. This one may seem less bad but in some cases could be worse than cocaine addiction.
it's not just any other drug, you can be addicted to quite literally anything. food (obesity), work (workaholics), etc. any addict knows that continuing their habit is bad, weather it's financially, physically, or mentally, but they keep choosing to continue because they always see the "fix" as worth more than the cost. now with gambling, if people equate hundreds of dollars as "worth" for a few minutes of that adrenaline rush, a gambling addiction could easily be worse than any drug addiction.

it is an addiction , but I am happy that its only with bitcoin and not in my real life. I try never to buy bitcoin when I don't need it as there is only one place it will land in. In real life I have only gambled 1 or 2 times with money . Most of gambling addiction online is due to being allowed to bet small amounts as that amounts to big amount if you play a lot or increase your bets in strategy.
245  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are There Any Good Reliable UK Horse Racing Sites Accepting Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2015, 05:13:30 PM
I don't see any other bitcoin sites having horse betting. Directbet is the only option for now. I heard Nitrogen might add horse betting too in the near future.
246  Economy / Services / Re: AMAZON .COM Reductions buying in bitcoins. on: June 17, 2015, 04:30:03 PM
You can actually sell on Purse.io . Most of the people offering amazon usually do it at the rate of 10-20% . And will you be accepting an escrow request to hold the funds till the items are shipped ?

It probably is an addiction then. Its not the only thing that makes me feel happy but it does keep me addicted to the screen. Its hard to have control over it. Most of the days I keep playing until I lose all of it. I need to get over that part.
248  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] You'll sell your BTC @ what price ? on: June 17, 2015, 05:36:30 AM
Why is there no option for less than 300. I just sold half of what I have yesterday . I don't think we will go much higher now. This is the end of the line
249  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitrogenSports.eu - BET LIVE ON THE NBA FINALS! on: June 17, 2015, 05:35:14 AM

Loved the live betting action tonight for Game 6 tonight and the whole NBA Finals at Nitro!

now I'm looking forward to having live betting for all sports!
NS have been discussing live betting for more than an year now, I doubt we will see it before any year. If they can do NBA Live betting with help of odds provider I am sure they can do it for other sports. I dont see what probelm they have doing that.

251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Negative full page Bitcoin ad in Swedish newspaper, paid by big Swedish bank(!) on: June 14, 2015, 11:40:57 AM
We can follow the basic principle that any article is just advertisement for bitcoins. Articles like these certainly don't demotivate people from quitting bitcoin.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Ever Bitcoin Bank to be Opened in Switzerland? on: May 30, 2015, 07:13:28 AM
It is actually bad for bitcoin as it takes away the decentralized part away from bitcoin. And it is hard to trust them as they might sell for fiat for their further investments.
253  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best place to sell digital goods other than this forum? on: May 29, 2015, 08:16:55 PM
A lot of digital goods are illegal as well . You might want to consider selling stuff on the darknet or list links to site like satoshibox or cryptothrift.
254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Questions and Discussions relating to Trading on: May 29, 2015, 08:14:25 PM
the shorter, plays his game on a downtrend, as long as it keep falling he can gain profit, even if he sold at a lowest price than the last price at which he bought back, but he need then to buy back at a even lower price, it's better to buy back at , at least at the price of your last buy, otherwise you are only increasing the risk of losing

at some point he must go out of the market, if the downtrend is too strong, then the problem is that he can't enter anymore without losing money...

That doesn't make much sense . I believe what you are talking about is loss minimizing which is done when you know the prices of bitcoin or a stock is about to go down. In stocks shorting comes into play when typically a broker is involved, but how does it come into play with something like Bitcoin or Altcoin Trading ?
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Few Questions and Discussions relating to Trading on: May 29, 2015, 12:25:32 PM
I opened this thread for questions someone might have with trading. I am interested in getting into bitcoin trading . But I have questions regarding a few terms.

Can someone explain how does shorting work ? I understand it is selling the coin or stock at current price when you expect price to fall. If current price is 10$ then you sell and buy back after it falls to say 7$. Then how do you profit out of it ? It just seems to be minimizing losses .
256  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: May 29, 2015, 09:51:23 AM
Where does swcpoker rank in terms of the btc poker sites?

Is there any chance they add 1 chip multi table tournaments?
There already are 1 chip tournaments on the site along with freerolls too . As for ranking, it was the biggest while it had the mavens software. Not sure if it still is now.
257  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Circle is giving away $5/~0.021 BTC for new users on: May 29, 2015, 09:45:49 AM
From what I remember they were also giving away bitcoin few months back as well, which was 5$ too . Its a great way to increase adoption.

-snip-

Nice work! This is an impressive idea and is worth sharing with others Smiley

Thanks, I hope people use it friday for the Bitcoin Pizza Day, "...Call your pizza order with Bitcoin..." Tongue

That makes me think another thing which might exist in the future. Like Googlevoice, having your personal phone number to receive calls on. That would be like a web phone , and would be epic. You guys should consider it as a future side project.
259  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: May 20, 2015, 06:22:23 PM

Well you and your site are the seniors in this industry. Still you refused many times to show anybody your sites cold wallet, what is understandable. I have decided for now to disable investments, to stop these arguments here.

That sort of makes it worse. Looks like you are running away on purpose. All you have to do is show the proof to only one person. And not being able to do that takes away any credibility. If you just do that ,no more questions will be asked on this thread.
260  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Generation Social Gambling Dice Experience on: May 20, 2015, 05:34:37 PM

The only thing I am pushing, is in having a public cold wallet like all other sites. I have explained with fair arguments why and you still didn't come up with a valid reason not to do so.

And we have explained why we don't do this. As long as nobody is complaining here that withdrawals requests are not honored or an investor complaining that he requested his cold wallet and we don't comply - then I would agree with your concerns.

But we do process withdrawals all the time and we have a skype group where we are in personal contact with all our investors.

This thread has become a witch-hunt and by any means, we are not willing to take part in it. We have overtaken most other dice sites by rolls in less than 3 month, our members base is growing daily and so are the wagered amounts. But according to you guys all we do is wrong. Well we can leave 'Troll Central' as well, as mentioned earlier - and believe me, we would still go on on the fast lane of the road.

At the very least wouldn't you be willing to demonstrate proof of those coins to me privately? I can verify here. This doesn't just effect investors but also people who play on your website and are under the assumption that you have that amount of coins to payout with.

Something there is no shortage of is bitcoin dice sites and people will take their business/investments elsewhere.
I doubt that will happen anytime soon. He will come up with excuses for the same to prevent that from happening. But there is no reason to deny this.
