241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create an open-source vote ICO list on: October 22, 2016, 06:52:08 AM
I never heard this one before, this is might help people get some information before invest on those coins, however there are some ico list site out there, but there is no voting system like this one therefore i think this is good idea, make sure to create the app in all systems either in android or ios since there's lot of android user here, just saying.
242  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Loaning System for BTC on: October 16, 2016, 02:31:17 PM
I'm contemplating on creating a loaning system for BTC.

The idea would be to have a hall of fame and a hall of shame. To get a loan you must first provide either something valuable (keys or something) or a picture of you next to your ID.

Then people who pay back on time will be added to hall of fame, if they don't they will be added to hall of shame along with their face.

Do you guys like this idea?
I don't think people would reveal their identity especially in bitcoin world, even for asking a loan.
However it's very important to to make very strict regulations about the collateral so that people will not be scammed by the borrower.
Provide the identity like picture with the id is a good way, but you must be carefull since it is too easy to manipulate the pic yeah you know what i'm saying like photoshop.
243  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone else worried about Poloniex? on: October 16, 2016, 02:17:05 PM
It seems like there's a problem with every single deposit or withdrawal I make there lately which requires that I submit a ticket.  One issue has been outstanding for over a month and the rep just tells me how sorry he is and how mad he would be in my position.  I've had to submit so many tickets that I can see from the ticket numbers that there have been a massive number of tickets submitted there lately.
I don't have any problems with poloniex, but my friend had, his account out there has been hacked by someone and it was locked, after more than a month they handle the problem and restore the account with funds were in it, yeah too long for them to solve the problem of their user. But so far Poloniex is trusted maybe their costumer service is need to improve i think.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantages of bitcoin on: October 16, 2016, 02:03:29 PM
please pen down all the advantages of bitcoin over traditional bank system. Also mention if bitcoin system is adoptable for bank system.
People has mentioned all of the advantages of bitcoin above.
However technology behind bitcoin the blockchain is adoptable for bank system. Like a book and a recorder for the world, not only for changing the traditional of the bank system it also could use for others to. If it adopted on bank system it could reduce the need for intermediaries to validate financial transactions, also it would reduce costs and make the transaction is faster.
245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why Africa are not really make it in bitcoin?. on: October 16, 2016, 01:43:00 PM
From my observation from bitcointalk, African are not really make it in bitcoin or other altcoin. I try to introduce bitcoin to my colleague but it seen their don't understand what am saying. Is it that we don't study or we underrate the potentials of bitcoin?
The country that i knew used bitcoin is south africa and egypt. Also i knew some users here from africa.
Though in Africa around 9.4 % of the world population has an internet connection today. I think people out there are not interested to bitcoin or maybe less exposure of the bitcoinin that area.
246  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: how much will you pay for a design on: October 16, 2016, 01:26:57 PM
how much will you pay for a design?

While the customer's first impression of the design is important.

now let's talk about the designs in the btc world

which one do you think is the best?

including  forum, game,exchange,list sites
As an visitor i really love the designs of the website that i visit.
The design of a website is important in my opinion because it really affects how quickly we as visitors can find what we are looking for and navigate the whole of site. Like dice site i prefer to play on site when it easy to navigate and catching my eye, after that maybe security and popullarity, yeah design still the one.
About the price very variate even you can find cheap service let say fiverr or 99designs.
247  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info was targeted today. on: October 16, 2016, 01:14:17 PM
As you may have noticed, blockchain.info was unavailable earlier on. They released several tweets with updates on the situation, but nothing detailed.
One of them : "Earlier today, we discovered our DNS registrar had been compromised. We took immediate action to resolve the issue. "

This is exactly the reason i don't use online wallets, and niether should anyone. I'm really interested in seing the aftermath of this DNS hijack, and
hope there were no empty wallets. We should find out soon enough.

well, the good thing is they took immediate action for this.. I hope mosts people's money are safe. I also use blockchain wallet. I don't store my money there for long time only some time I use to hold for few months. and I didn't lost anything yet..
but you are right being careful and using a 100% pool proof and safe wallet is better then regretting in future.
As a blockchain user, so bad to heard this news.
This is why i don't story huge amount of bitcoin in my blockchain account.
I used it only for storing my spendable amount due to it's simplicity, well the safest way for storing my bitcoin is keep my private key offline. So Hardware wallet still the best for storing my bitcoin.
248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I give BTC away? on: October 16, 2016, 12:51:17 PM
I want to give the smallest practical amount of BTC to friends and family to introduce them to it.
What is the best way to do this?
What are the smallest amounts that can be sensibly transferred?
Thank you.
In my experience, i gave my friends some bitcoin about 1 dollars each person to top up their phone and also to introduce bitcoin to them, and guess what they are interested since they don't need to go outside for purchase it, it's really simple just in  single click , however when i talk bitcoin to them for the first time they weren't aware and interest, by giving away i think this is good way to teach them how bitcoin is work. Anyway they used blockchain.info
249  Economy / Marketplace / Re: PC parts store that accept bitcoin and ships to Asia on: October 16, 2016, 12:32:30 PM
As the title says, i tried using purse.io but mostly likely is either shipping costing 30 dollars more or not able to ship to asia. I went digging around the forum and google. But all i find was prices that was higher than amazon or doesn't  ship to asia again. Anyone got any recommendation for me? Trying to buy Pc Parts/ Electronics. If things does not work out i will just try to buy with purse.io with 30 dollars extra.

Note: Location is at South-east Asia.

Thanks for the help!
Just using a local store? However for you try in the Alibaba's shop? I think buying from the local store is already accepting shipping to the foreign. but you need for reading the shipping coverage of the online shops before.
well using local store is a good way, but sometime the stuff that we need to buy is not exist or different, i am looking for online shop that shipping cost is cheap or maybe free, do you ever use aliaba's service? is alibaba's shipping cost completely free ? or only for some countries? anyway i live in south east asia, Thanks in advance.
250  Other / Off-topic / Re: Currently, what's your way of generating Bitcoins? on: October 16, 2016, 12:15:24 PM
So guys, how are you earning your Bitcoins, through mining hardware, or satoshi digging crap?
I am making them through a  bit different way of the "usual mining" I am actually "working" or call it whatever you want on a site called Steemit, which is mostly about writing articles. I am earning STD (steem dollars) within each article, and then I process the redeeming to bitcoins.
But this is not passive, and not guaranteed cuz there are days that I am not earning anything.. It all depends on "voting power" - who votes for you. Oh forgot to say votes are important because that's what earns your steem dollars.  Steem dollars can easily be exchanged for bitcoins. The process takes 5-10 minutes.

So, what about you guys? What's your "passive income", how are you mining bitcoins?
I dont mining bitcoin since electricity in my area is too expensive so there's any way to earn bitcoin through solo mining here at least you have big capital to build mining company. I earned bitcoin mostly from trading and some services that i provide, anyway i have joined with steem but untill now i have not submit any post yet, the site sounds legit i might post some article out there when i'm free.
251  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is any new way here to earn bitcoin very fast? on: October 16, 2016, 12:06:37 PM
As we all know that to earn the bitcoin in these ways like....
1. Trading
2. Investment
3. Gambling
Anybody know that anymore way is here to earn the bitcoin very fast?
But in my view, only 3 ways are best to earn the bitcoin and not more way is here.
1. Trading
This is might be the fastest way to earn bitcoin, however this is might be the risky way since the cryptocurrency's price is very volatile especially the altcoins price, i personally trading bitcoin to fiat or vice versa because it's price is predictable than altcoin's price.

2. Investement
Investment in my opinion, it would be a good way to earn bitcoin but you must be carefull since there's so many scam or ponzi site out there, just dont invest on cloudmining or any cryptodoubler site, holding bitcoin itself is a investment though.

3. Gambling
I don't recommend this way, because i think there is no strategy or something to win or earn preofit it's just depends on your luck if you win you just lose it again.
252  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I will pay BTC if user signs up on affiliate link on: October 09, 2016, 04:27:12 PM
Well, As long as the referral link that you provide isn't ponzi or something bad i think it's ok, and it doesn't need credit cards or our details for sign up i mean only email i think i might be interested, I was tired with affilate system that requires a credit card for registration, better I do not get paid than submit my sensitive data, maybe you should explain your affilate program before so that people can choose to join or not, just saying, goodluck.
253  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which online wallet do you use? on: October 09, 2016, 04:12:03 PM

 I found xapo , blockchain.info ,  moneypot , coinsbank . Just to name a few.

Also did blockchain.info had a design change recently?
i suggest using coinbase because it is easy and convenient to use, not too complicated for the new user. It also have a system allow you to buy and sell your bitcoin

So when it comes to user-friendly I would say that blockchain is the best. Because I have tried coinbase too but for me, I am more satisfied with blockhain.info even though I am annoyed now with the verification email of blockchain but still that only take a few seconds just to verify your log-in details. Xapo for me is more annoying.
Looks like blockchain.info has increase their security, when you logged through new ip they will send you a verification email but i think it is not a big deal, as we know that there are so many phising site similar to the blockchain out there then for security purpose make sure two factor authentication is enabled on your account.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if on: October 09, 2016, 03:52:30 PM
some wealthy entrepreneur decided to drop a total of 1 billion business cards, having a blank bitcoin address and its private key on each side of them, from air to ten major cities of usa? Would the common folks be interested in using these cards as regular money? Would this act be permitted by law?
Last month there was a giveaway held by The Blockchain Education Network (BEN) in four Chicago Universities, i think is a good way if people giving free bitcoin for educational purpose, this is literally introduce and increase the adoption of the bitcoin, but giving away without any explanation bout what is exactly bitcoin i think this the problem, people would only see that the card that they're just giving it's only money not payment processor nor investment tool.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: October 09, 2016, 03:28:53 PM
Even if it goes down in terms of value I doubt they will change it. It is like preservation of their history. Maybe they will just find another way to make USD stronger again. It can be done for they have a lot to export and can do some deals with other countries.
As long as the government have the power there is no opportunity for bitcoin, there is no way for them to accept decentralized currency like bitcoin as an official currency and replaced the dollar, since they cant control it, however the government and bank are interested with technology behind bitcoin the blockchain, it possible for them to adopt it in order to change their traditional system.
256  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: October 09, 2016, 03:01:03 PM
trading will make it possible then after getting some earnings use the part of it to make good business invest with
food cart for sure it will be successful then continue your trade making two sources of good profits will easy for
you to be rich just make proper holdings of your finances.

All are right. But it is sometimes very difficult to collect the initial amount. Do not start to trade with the same $ 100. It is necessary to collect more start-up capital

But on the other hand when you start trading with bigger amounts on your balance you might lose more, so be careful guys. It's like in gambling - if your balance is small you think "if I only had bigger balance I'd win", but in reality no matter how big your balance is your win is never guaranteed.
Trading is unpredictable job this is not like just buy low and sell high, without relevant skill , strategy and knowledge it will be like gambling, however if you trade bitcoin to fiat in my opinion it is less risky when you trade altcoin, since bitcoin price is more prdictable than altcoin. But trading is always being a risky way to get rich unless you are mentally person.

258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You accidentally find Satoshi.....What would you do? on: October 09, 2016, 02:35:46 PM
Satoshi is a real person. He is probably in his early forties. The problem with being an innovative thinker and filthy rich is that you get bored unless you're keeping yourself busy.

So, he is likely to be working somewhere in the technology world.

What if you accidentally figure out the guy you've been working with (sitting next to, is a customer, is a consultant, is your client, etc) is actually Satoshi.

What would you do?
Honestly, by what? I could figure out that the guy is satoshi, at least he could show me the sign massage from the satoshis address, but if there's someone claimed that he was satoshi, i'll be like shocked and i would like to thanks first and tell him how lucky iam, i found and used bitcoin, and then leave him alone and keep the secret, because there is no advantage for me to revealed his identity.
259  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Why people don't like coinbase? on: October 09, 2016, 02:12:00 PM
I used coinbase when i was newbie, since it's free yeah they"re paying the transactions fee for you, when i saw many cases out there about locked account, being froze and others then i stopped using it i think it's better if you control the private key so no one can't freeze your money whatever you do. This is the one reason why i don't like the coinbase and other reasons some people have mentioned them above.
260  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you already become a USD millionaire through Bitcoin? on: October 09, 2016, 01:53:15 PM
Actually I was too late become a millionare through bitcoin since i am not early adopter, i am trying  through altcoin, i wish those coin  would be bright like bitcoin and make me rich, however with bitcoin i can support my life, people always said that bitcoin price would be hit 1k dollars each again, but i'm not sure i will become a millionaire if the price 1k dollars.
