201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what point will bitcoin become a successful rival to the to the fiat system? on: March 01, 2018, 11:38:15 PM
As currency: Must be cheaper by the fee or usage and also faster, and I think bitcoin has not met the criteria the fees are just too high and low confirmation makes bitcoin is not suited for being a currency at least for now. There are some altcoins which better than bitcoin and can be a good rival to the fiat system. However, Banks see that bitcoin is a threat to them well it just a beginning this industry is still young to be compared to the fiat system.

As asset/ investment: Bitcoin has shown a good progress as an investment tool, people nowadays still believe in it. Some people might say that it's a bubble some say it is too risky for storing your wealth in fact demand for bitcoin is still quite high and prices within a few days are still quite stable.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Twitter Scammers on: February 26, 2018, 07:20:22 PM
Well after this if there's someone asking you to send them money don't do that even if they verified on twitter. You should be making a research before trusting someone to hold your money. Honestly, I just don't get it with those who trust some random people on the internet.

There are a lot of scammers trying to take advantages on beginners in crypto. If anyone have friends that interested in crypto, teach them and let them know all about cryptocurrencies, don't let them get scammed. If a lot of peoples get scammed they won't believe in cryptocurrency.
This is why I always tell those newbies, to not giving someone their private key, sending coin to people that claimed they can double their coins, making them rich in one night, blah, blah, and blah, preventing criminal is not an easy thing but at least we can teach people how to protect their wealth and not to get scam easily.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just a speculative asset, not money? on: February 26, 2018, 02:44:35 PM
Our currency is also unstable just like bitcoin, the only difference is, it doesn't undergo the same rise and fall as Bitcoin does. If money is an asset, bitcoin is an asset, then why not consider bitcoin as money? Simple logic. Everything that has a value money in their different way.
Even when bitcoin's price is $ 0.1 is still considered as money. However, it's not ready for payment method as we can see the fees are too high and it takes a long time for a transaction to get confirmed unless you pay a higher fee.

It's true that bitcoin is a speculative asset where there is no fixed value, frequent movement of price can be expected. However I don't believe it's ending soon. It can still stand for a long time, and can be consider for long term investment that in anytime can be converted into money.
I might say that it's a speculative asset, but we can't deny that it's also money or currency. The point is when people still use it for transaction or purchase anything it'll be mentioned as money, you know what the reason why my government couldn't ban bitcoin where transaction using other than our official currency is against the rules? Yes, because of the speculative asset, everyone has their own right to holding something precious like bitcoin.

205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: February 01, 2018, 11:58:50 PM
Of course they do. Here, Facebook has already refused to advertise ICO, crypto-currencies and everything that is connected to it.
Exactly, I've just read this news.
here's the link : https://www.coindesk.com/facebook-banning-advertisements-bitcoin-icos/
this will give a big impact to the cryptocurrency indutry, as we can see many projects advertised there in order to get a lot of costumers, no problem at least we have twitter, it's working perfectly.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A possibility to travel without your wallet (just with Bitcoins)? on: February 01, 2018, 10:17:18 PM
I am not necessarily promoting a cashless & cardless society but cash & cards can simply be an alternative. All you may need with you is your cell phone and ID card to move all around the world. Into such a morning of sun shine, I am looking at. But gradually what turns out is such a cashless and cardless society with eases lives.
Actually, paying something with your smartphone is now popular and the progress is very good I personally rarely use cash or card whether credit or debit, I often use the services provided by my bank I mean mobile banking or payment gateway provided by some services to shopping, like, purchase foods, pay electricity, buy coffee, watch movies, even taxi all those things I paid from my smartphone directly, the question is does it use bitcoin? no, it uses our official currency, do you know why people do not use bitcoin as a payment option?
1. The fees are too high.
2. Low Confirmation.
3. Government Banned it.
4. Lack of adoption.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptos are "printing money at home". it's illegal on: January 31, 2018, 11:40:45 PM
Cryptocurrencies is like printing money at home because Bitcoin and cryptos are decentralization of currency making.

Centralization of currency making means only central banks of each country can print money/currency (US Dollar, Euro etc..)

Printing money at home or in factory is illegal in all the countries.  Angry

This is the reason Economist "Marc Faber" said "there is will 10,000 cryptocurrencies and the bubble will burst"  Grin
Remember bitcoin is not only a currency but also as an investment like gold, we have rights for what we have. If you're thinking that we create money i think you're wrong we're just mining like gold and what if I find gold on the surface of my property is it illegal? I don't think so it would belong to the person on the land in which the materials were found as well as bitcoin, my government has banned bitcoin as currency but not as stock, so you can mine bitcoin but don't ever think transact with them you will get punish.
208  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Going to try to start a small Steemit community on: January 31, 2018, 11:23:23 PM
Well actually i have an account that i created in 2016 and i have some questions for you  i just don't get it with their system, I've got 14 steem power and i don't know  how to do with it, so is this steem power gonna be lowered if we vote other people and I'm just wondering if your idea is safe? i mean exchanging vote or comment is allowed in steem forum? and what about the rate for each vote?

thank you so much for making this thread I'm still new in this.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can actually Bitcoin be good for the environment? on: January 31, 2018, 10:36:54 PM
I can not deny that bitcoin has a bad effect to the environment, although it is not large i mean we're living in the technology era where those technologies definitely have a bad impact to the environment, for example, source of electricity that coming from coal or diesel oil, the point is that the miners must find a renewable energy such as solar energy, wind power or water but honestly when we compared it to the banks surely banks have a worse effect on the environment than bitcoin, for example, is cash imagine how many trees have been felled to print the money.

213  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit.net withdrawal problem on: November 20, 2016, 02:27:58 PM
So its clear to me now why yobit has a very poor support system for complaints maybe they should hire more people.
Maybe they had received lot of support tickets so they couldn't handle their costumers properly, however yobit is a good trading site though the one thing should be fixed is their costumer service, but it seems like they won't hire people to join with their company.
To op : good to see them responsed your ticket.
214  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Problems with blockchain on: November 20, 2016, 02:16:52 PM
Hello everybody!

I've got a problem in using blockchain wallet. Everytime that I close the browser even if it is not under incognito mode, I have to approve always the new login attempt even if my browser is trusted! It means that I receive an email whenever I try to access my blockchain wallet

I always use my default's browser morever without enabling the incognito mode. How do I fix this issue?

Best regards

I have a same problem with you, i thought it just me facing this problem, i trully believe it's caused by ip dynamic who i used, i also heard that blockchain increase their security so when you login through new ip you must verify the email before in order to protect your wallet from hackers, as we can see blockchain.info spoof in google sponsored results, so this is obviously to protect your wallet from them.
215  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to start to sell on MarketPlace? on: November 20, 2016, 01:47:36 PM
Hello, I signed up some minutes ago and I want to sell a service ( gift cards obtained legally )
I read this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3629.0 but there are 2 rules...
Are there other rules? Do I have to be an upgraded member or something like that to start to sell?
Is it allowed to sell gift cards/service with an AutoBuy website?

Thank you ( Sorry If I make this questions but this is the first time I signed up on here )
Since you are a newbie you have to make a deal with escrow guys this is the list of the escrow service here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
You might open your service on others forum maybe like thebot due to the high trafic that they have, just give a suggest.
216  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can people advise of the different bitcoin scams they have encountered on: November 20, 2016, 01:33:10 PM
All investment sites especially cloud mining sites are just scam created by owners to scam some money out of their investors. If the promised return was too good to be true, its most probably that it will turn into scam for about days maybe hours so be careful witj them. I too have experienced being scammed by those scammers when I was still a newbie and I learned the hard way to never invest on investment sites especially if the site was running for long time.

I have encountered in bitcoins scam once.  I just received from the campaign cand I simply Google my online wallet and logged in thats it my fund is empty in the wallet due to I have logged in scam site which is same like a block chain.
First of all i am really sorry for your loss.
as we can see blockchain.info spoof in google sponsored results, i am just wondering how could you lose that coins i mean when you login to the site, email confirmation will send to you and you must verify it before accsess them so if the hacker got your password he can't open it before verify the email, anyway i am advising you to bookmark the real site and never google it.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: November 20, 2016, 01:10:43 PM
There are already some porn sites that includes bitcoin for payment based on what I've read here before. But I don't know what site was it and I don't even care for it. I don't want to waste some money for pornography. And actually why do people here want porn that bad.
The only site that i knew was playboy, however i have never pay for porn before i mean why do i have to pay for it while there are too much free porn sites out there, moreover watching porn is not good for our health.
i compeletely agree with you better to spend your bitcoin in a good way like buying food or clothes.
218  Economy / Marketplace / Re: THE BITCOIN STORE IS HOSTING A PHOTO CONTEST - Win Prizes! on: November 19, 2016, 01:55:36 PM
do we have to show our face or not ?
I personally won't show my face and maybe some people here will not reveal their identity so if there is no restriction about that, i think i might join with this contest, Just want to clear this one, thanks in advance.
219  Economy / Economics / Re: Look out Bitcoin the dollar is surging in value! on: November 19, 2016, 01:27:54 PM
Yes interesting times. A lot of confusion in all the markets. A lot of head fakes everywhere. Is the USD about to top? Will it continue to rise forcing China to devalue the yuan again and again?
What goes up need to come down and i think Chinese yuan devaluation will actually make bitcoin price stronger along with USD.

Chinese seems buying bitcoin every day/week in last few months to be in safer side when their yuan is getting heavy devaluation.

It makes sense, if I was in China I would surely try to buy bitcoins for protection against devaluations. The money flow in the us market lately could be for the same reasons.
I personally try to buy bitcoin as much as i can , i also buy gold, it such a protection for our wealth, i don't trust my own currency or even storing them in the banks cause i know those are bulshit, moreover my bank that i used right now has been loaned to China Development Bank. So i really scared for storing my money out there, whatever happens in china will affect economic situation in my country.
220  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you discover bitcoin? on: November 19, 2016, 12:56:42 PM
I was wondering how'd you discover or know about bitcoin? Did someone refer you? Did someone show you what you did? Through the news? Share something here.  Cheesy
I was joining a PTC site when they starting accept bitcoin as payment option, that was the first time i embrace bitcoin, actually i didn't have any choice since my paypal account was locked so i should use bitcoin in order to withdraw my balance, but iam suprissed that it is very simple i don't have to provide my details and document for verification purpose, then i knew that it also used as an investment tool how lucky i am, found bitcoin.
