241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the global currency of Earth on: June 16, 2016, 08:38:47 PM
if one bitcoin is worth $750 this does not mean that bitcoin is stronger than USD. because there are only 15 million bitcoins out there while on the other hand there are trillions of dollars so this comparison can not work that way
242  Economy / Speculation / Re: $800 tomorrow? on: June 16, 2016, 08:01:59 PM
I voted for NO. because I think that the market will need more time before reaching $800 or it will just touch it and have a correction movement down

Bitcoin is being Bitcoin and spiking 30% this week and 200% this year

It feels like we only hear about Bitcoin when the price is either tanking or skyrocketing. And, since it’s currently skyrocketing, let’s talk about Bitcoin!

As of writing, Bitcoin is hovering around $745 per coin. It has only been worth this much twice before – once on the way up to the height of the Christmas 2013 bubble, and once on the way down.

246  Economy / Speculation / Re: 57 bitcoin... will I have 6-figures in my bank acct by end of 2016? on: June 16, 2016, 05:34:38 PM

247  Economy / Economics / Re: Are the cloud mining sites to go scam? on: June 15, 2016, 11:43:26 PM
It is known that most of these sites are ponzi scheme so it just a matter of time before they turn scam. It is going to happen just when they do not get new members to invest.
248  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: June 15, 2016, 08:59:17 PM
The ones who got rich put btc away early and didn't touch it for years.

My theory is that we have the opportunity to do the same right now!

you are very optimistic Cheesy
If you are thinking about getting reach with bitcoin, you should have bought a lot of btc when the price was below one dollar. but buying now you may make just some profit, not getting rich!
249  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: June 15, 2016, 08:56:09 PM
right now, I believe that bitcoin is too small to be compared with US dollar. who in this planet earth does not know the USD ? while bitcoin users are just minority in this world
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: June 14, 2016, 11:36:50 PM
i will simply take my bitcoin, construct a piece of wood, drop ALL my coin inside the contructed wood. close and nail it with a nail.

Write RIP BTC on the top cover, dig a pit, drop it inside this pit.

Come back to bitcointalk forum to finalize the RIP ceremony Sad Sad Sad Sad

Thanks
Arlene

so you consider bitcoin dead if it ever reaches 1 dollar ? what if this happen and more people get interested in these cheap coins and the market thrills again after a while ?
bitcoin's live does not depend on the price, it depends on its decentralized network
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: June 14, 2016, 11:32:56 PM
My Paypal got suspended (for now) so I have no ther choice but to use Bitcoin or face-to-face cash.

Therefore, Bitcoin.
The freedom that bitcoin gives you is one of the best features on it. you can use btc wherever you are without any country-based restrictions that PayPal has
252  Other / Off-topic / Re: The luckiest block in the world on: June 14, 2016, 11:30:36 PM
I have seen dozens of blocks that has only one transaction which is the new generated coins only. so what makes this one the luckest ?
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: transactions are not going or very slow on: June 14, 2016, 09:10:50 PM
there are a lot of unconfirmed transactions on the network right now. (+18000 right now on blockchain.info)
so that is the reason you may face more delay in getting the first confirmation or you need to pay more fees
254  Other / Politics & Society / Re: London's mayor has banned 'unrealistic body images' from transport advertising on: June 14, 2016, 09:05:14 PM
I see nothing wrong with banning this kind of ads. there is no relation between the veil and the bikini so why the ads company put this photoshoped  photo that has nothing to do with reality !

Japan will Release its Digital Currency in 2017

It has been coming for quite some time now, but Japan is poised to be one of the first few countries issuing their own digital currency. With the Bitcoin value soaring as of late, the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi will launch the currency as soon as Q3 2017.

For several weeks now, there have been rumors circulating about Japan planning to legitimize Bitcoin as a currency in the country. It comes as no surprise to find out the country’s largest banks has initiated their plan to roll out a national digital currency next year. MUFG Coin, as this new currency will be called, may see the light of day as soon as Autumn 2017.

5 Factors Experts Say Drove Bitcoin's Rise to $700

Bitcoin surged close to 20% over the weekend spanning 11th June and 12th June, and this robust appreciation grabbed the attention of many experts who were quick to give their two cents on what fueled the rally.

Market observers provided a wide range of explanations for this climb, including the 'Brexit', the rising visibility of the blockchain and the impending halving of the miner reward.

Of course, the possibility remains the sum of these factors could be equally as powerful as any one in isolation.

257  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] vcc for paypal on: June 13, 2016, 03:48:04 PM

258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold around 100 BTC few months ago on: June 13, 2016, 03:45:54 PM
If you sold these btc less than you bought them then you need to regret. but if not , you just lost some potential profit that you could earn. If you still interested in btc, invest some money again and you may make some profit again

260  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is $704.51 on CNBC.com on: June 13, 2016, 01:36:13 PM
It breaks the barrier if $700 and niw its current value is $702. As expected it will rise until $800 or maybe until july it will hit $1000.  So its not too late to buy.

before the current sharp rise, I was thinking that $1000 is very far price that won't happen soon. but now I think it may happen before the end of this year or even more earlier
