OK, if you missed it, I was so inspired by Wildshark graciously donating some ION to me, and my results in January's investor of the month competition that I entered by accident that I planned to become a full fledged Ionite for the February investor of the month competition.
So:
Contest: Guess what place i finished in the February Investor of the month competition.
Rules: One guess per person. If no one is exactly right we will use Price is Right Rules, so closest without going over.
Prize: The entire balance of my ionomy account (ION and/or BTC) as soon as i am physically able to transfer them.
Contest start: 12:00 noon March 1, UTC
Contest end: 12:00 noon, March 5, UTC

Now my plan was to really get into it during the last week of the month because that coincided with my work schedule, and I thought that the hype of the game would really help me get rich, but that plan got shot down when the wonderful Team ION shut down the exchange on ionomy.com.
As a result, I only purchased 1 (one) ION during the month of February. Now, even though many true believers probably withdrew to participate in the glorious fun on bittrex, lowering their number for the competition, I still was not a winner, so guessing 1-3 probably wouldn't be the best plan, but I think we can have some fun anyway.

That makes suchmoon the chapion according to price is right rules. Now before anyone gets any weird ideas to make fun of the bagholders that only 22 people bought more than 1 ion from ionnomy.com in February, keep in mind that in this contest you lose points for selling ions or withdrawing them, which I'm guessing many did to participate in bittrex once the ionomy market shut down. Also keep in mind that in January, with no excuse for mass exodus from ionomy.com, I came in 27th after selling 2 IONs. Suchmoon, post your ion address so I can send you what is left of my 1 ion after the fees, and as for the BTC unfortunately I don't have enough to cover the fee, so I guess I will send you more IONs if/when I am able to do soething with my .00002430 btc. Certified crypto genius Mrcoins is on slack advocating releasing the 12 month stakers now so it will be easier for him to pull his pump and dump shenanigans.
Why they give someone who was so wrong about XPY the time of day is astonishing.
If you guys on the team are reading this, I suggest waiting the 12 months just so that you can actually do something that you say you are going to do. It isn't that big of a deal, since it literally requires doing nothing for 12 months, but maybe take a win and just accomplish one single thing that you said you would do by holding the 12 month stakers for 12 months.

This is really a dangerous game you're playing OP. I've tried this in college and lost a lot of funds on this style. Especially if you are betting on different leagues and teams. It is like using martingale on different casino games every bet. Well, I wish the best of luck to you, but be careful, if you get a long losing streak then you'll for sure won't be able to fund the amount of bets you need.
have you seen the graph provided by OP? Does this show dangerous? If you can see he bet and have a continous losing streak but in just one win he is back in track again with profit. This is much better than using martingale method in dice. And what if you lose a bunch in a row? Even if you won't say it's "dangerous" maybe a little homework can show you how it's stupid. If each bet is really 50/50, the odds of winning 8 in a row are the same as losing 8 in a row. With this method you win 8 bucks by winning 8 in a row, how much do you lose if you lose 8 in a row? Not to mention this experiment somehow has every bet at 2.0 odds, maybe martingale would work in a magical fairlyand with no juice. |

I'm not sure how deep the contest goes, I just know that I was shocked that I placed on the leaderboard for January when my "score" was -2 because all I did was sell the 2 ions I was given. Further help would be unfair as guesses have already been made. But the correct logic needed to find an answer is out there.

takes quite a special person to be impressed by an 8 month old typo and somehow "nearing alpha" with a brand new game while no progress has been made on the edgey game they have known about since the beginning. Also, now that that page has been updated, I'm forced to conclude that the typo is left in for the same reason nigerian princes use poor grammar and spelling when they are looking for people to help get money out of their countries. just a thought while the market is good? has anyone said thank you to the ionomy team for giving people a way to make something out of their worthless crappy xpy? has anyone said thank you for the profit you can take RIGHT NOW on bittrex if you bought ico sale coins? has anyone said thank you to the ionomy team for still powering on while people on here had it down for a scam and hammered them with constant ..... like i said just a thought.......  Don't need to thanks the Ionomy team, I wasn't dumb enough to fall for the GAW/Paycoin scam, that was you and your fellow Ionites. Maybe you should be asking this in your walled garden called Slack. I'm amazed the troll's on here are still going!! its definitely made me create a list of people with a lot of hot air and not to listen too . I've been in crypto for coming on 5 years now and some of these people should know better.

I'm baffled how you STILL don't know that lying to ME about ME is quite pointless. You better focus on lying about ionomy, there is at least a chance that you could find someone dumber than you to believe it. Mobile gaming ARPU seems to be $40-ish. ION inflation ATM is ~29k ION or ~3k USD per day or 1+ million USD per year. Therefore ionomy needs 25k+ average users just to break even on inflation (25,000 * $40 = $1m). Actually it's probably closer to 75k users since only one third of in-game spending goes to the purchase pool.

We are talking about much more than just one game. Some will be more successful than others but in theory you only need one. I have played the game by the way, it was tested by many users, so not only whales, and I liked it, and so did my family. Only 6 days and you can try it out yourself. How many users are the many that tested it? How many people are actively using ionomy before the game is released? Are these testers the same people that think "edgey" is a word and that didn't notice that the exchange didn't know what 24 hours was or whatever bittrex noticed that caused the rebase? |

Pausing trading on ionomy itself is going to put a damper on my quest for knowledge, but since I am a true ionomy believer, I will not be withdrawing my coins to participate in trading on bittrex. This can only mean good things for my quest to win the investor competition since many people will be withdrawing to participate.
This may skew the results of my experiment, but may result in an increase in comedy gold.
What u wrote reads like u encountered severe difficulties in the process of solving that quest and failed to comprehend the point raised by few older members three pages back: ionomy does not need believers shit, let alone the fact that doesnt need barrow boys like u among followers that are used to complaining about shit investment that went belly up in the eve of a new era of highest bitcoin pumps thoroughly orchestrated by members of bene gesserit guild. The severe difficulties are, as usual, team ionomy changing things on the fly. Announce an investor competition to last the whole month, then close the market on Feb 24 to organize a pump somewhere else. Withdrawing ions from the ionomy counts against you in the competition, so the ton of true believers withdrawing to go play on bittrex may skew the results of the competition, but it also may give me some sweet sweet ions, so who knows. |
