How to scam people by offering a bounty?
Open an ico and offer bounty to people (like decent did)
Take 1 year or more for main net (like decent did)
Take another 1 year for releasing bounty info (like decent doing now)
Take another year for distribution of bounty (like decent will do later)
People will die,forget,leave their bounty and dev team legally eat the shares from bounty participants.
This is how you can legally commit to a bounty scam! Spread the world.

I am sure dev will keep at least 60% because most people won't be able to claim their bounty. So what? It was still free money. Are you a fcking idiot? DeepOnion scam went to DeepOnion spam to DeepOnion star in the social medias in a very short period of time  . That's truly an achievement to celebrate and I hope more people on this forum will realize all the potential with PoW/PoS (mining/staking) and the weekly airdrop which has less strict rules now. Keep up the good work DeepOnion !! What impresses me the most is how flexible the team it. Continuously finding solutions for things. As soon as they were getting spam accusation, they realized the mistakes and quickly nipped it in the butt. That ability to adapt is what's really impressive to me. The same with how they were to fix the sock puppet problem. Just pure flexibility. |

I have held from 30k sat to 5k sat and now a slight recover. Long way to go but I have faith  I am a bit concerned we may not see ico price again in bitcoin value, is anyone else worried or do they think it will just take some time to get back there? Yesterday when the price rose to around $1.55 or so, I saw a person dump a whole bunch, and a long red bar, but then followed by a long green bar.
That person really f-ed up. Was probably expecting the price to go back lower, like it always seems to do. That's why I don't take such chances. I'm sure they're regretting it.

when BTC go down DCT go up a little, and BTC go up DCT go down a little. It's not just DCT, it's pretty much all alt coins. The extreme Bitcoin pump really did a number on all the altcoins. So many forks that people wanted to take care off, one after another, a month apart. I hated it. |

Very interesting, deeponion has the largest volume of trade on KuCoin exchange, about 53% of all deeponion trades. And also price is highest on KuCoin exchange. With even more exchanges in circulation for deeponion price can easly skyrocket  Coin moves definitely in the right direction and in a couple of years it will surely be one of the strongest. Seems that Kucoin is becoming our main trading platform (Cryptopia is now back on 55% vs. 45% on Kucoin, but the trend is obvious). It was very fast, just a few days after listing. Not sure about the exact reason, but I see that Kucoin is growing quite fast in terms of their overall trading volumes, they are approaching top 40 exchanges. Keeping this growth, it will not take a long time to surpass Cryptopia (which is btw not doing bad at all and is in top 30). That's very interesting to see. Though I'm to used to Cryptopia I will create accounts in the other exchanges just to check it out. Support the exchanges for adding DO. |

Bitcoin shut up from $500 to $600 during ICO, to up to $18,000. That's a lot to match. But again, it really can happen at any moment starting next year. |

My father-in-law (in his 70s) wants to write a book and publish it cheaply. I used the opportunity to explain Decent to him, however I realized that the platform might not be the easiest for him to learn and his audiences might not understand how to get hold of the material. I hope there will be an easy to use interface for older people like him and for normal John Doe on the street without the need to know how things work in the background. The interface must be easy to get hold of and use and shouldnt need to download the chain first. The interface should be an app that you download from the mobile store and you log into your account from the device and say upload file and will cost so much and press publish and done.
Like with everything, I don't think it's that difficult once a person decides that they want to go that path. I've known people in their late 60s who wanted to create a website, simply searched how to make one, followed the directions and created it. They had that want, motivation. I think the bigger issue for average people has more to do with the whole concept of Decent content distribution and blockchain. And yeah, the easier the better. But even if not, the simple want would not let new things get in the way. |

I just tested it out with .04 Eth, and it says I've reached my limit.
I don't have a new account, I have Google Aut set up, and my limit was grandfathered in because my account was older.
So essentially this means that one must showed them their ID, else your money stays with them.

It's all very strange. It's not a scam because the devs could have easily pump things up with "fake" news, got the price to rise and dump a lot of coins. Many opportunities to do that. Instead does the opposite with silence.
That is way I am still keeping and believing. The dev popped up in telegram and just said following as a reply to all messages asking for news: Yes, i'm not going to rush the project for the sake of releasing news. I'd much rather focus on creating a quality project, i'm sure people will get excited again once things start rolling out.

A billion market cap it will have. The question is when? Hopefully sooner rather than later. Personally I want it to go to $8. (Not that I'm going to sell then.) Why $8? Your lucky number? Just to remind you that $8 is less than $500 million, so there is room for much more... Because I made a mistake with NEO. More of a distracted mistake, where as a follower of the coin I knew it was going to pump but not for another month, and I chose to sell it instead of another coin, because the other coin had an extra complicated step and so I went with the flow with the least resistance. And then I got distracted by my environment forgot to buy my Neo back, and it went 300x. It the 3rd biggest mistake I made in Crypto. I learned so much about the mind, how little mental distraction can throw you off track completely. But truly is a horrible, life changing experience. I'm grateful, I got 42x from it, while most of the people who invested in it probably sold at 1.5x. And the reason they sold was because they waited so freaking long for the coin. People were just dumping it. But I knew it was going to be special, and I held it for almost a year. I used some of the money to buy Decent, and at the time the break even point I believe was actually more around $7, thought it's less based on Neo's current price. Just like I thought Neo was going to be big, I think the same of Decent. But that pain of selling your Neo and then seeing it go higher, and higher, and higher, and higher. I think I rather make out with a guy. What truly gets me is choosing to sell the Neos because the process was easier than another coin that I didn't care about. Really thought me about pushing harder. We've all made out crypto' mistakes, and in your case it seems you made a great profit so in reality it wasn't a mistake. But I understand where you're coming from. But may I ask why you think Decent will pump like NEO has? what makes it special? Nothing is ever guaranteed, but for one, in a sense the coin hasn't really launched, things are in its early stages. DecentGo is really going to start in Q1 2018 with the App store. Then the streaming hardware, etc. We're still in a sort of beta, there's no need for the marketcap to be high right now, because things haven't really started. I should have forseen that. But more importantly is the team. They are extremely active in terms of promotion and development. Non stop travel around the world promoting the coin. I believe they even held their own crypto event. They're just extremely active, compare that to those coins who make a good ICO presentation, deliver a half baked product, with minimal work after that. This team is legit, and that's probably the most important part for a coin to reach billion dollar marketcaps. They also have a lot of money. An ambitious team with a lot of money. Oh yeah, actively creating partnerships, such as with Naughty America. |

I do agree that it does still leave a lot of room to grow though, and I'm sure over the next few years we will see it and hopefully higher. These are definitely different times. I participated at FB, NL and BTT bounty campaigns. I have sent many messsages to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1170665 for the last 40 days or so, but no answer and no bounty was paid. Same happened to NL bounties (this one I sent address through email). I only received FB bounties so far. Hello, sorry for the delay, you will be included in the next batch. I'm afraid you missed me there. I still haven't received signature and newsletter bounties. It's been 2 or 3 months and nothing yet. When is this "next batch" taking place? I want jviper to get his bounty. He's a major supporter. Maybe something went wrong? |
