2401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a Game . on: July 20, 2021, 11:31:52 AM
Knowledge is Paramount in all of life endeavors. Just the same way you don't go for war unprepared or go for a music concert without rehearsals so is it in trading. You must be equipped irrespective of your level of experience or how long you feel you have spent learning trading you would still need to refresh your knowledge consistently it's something you can't just avoid this is one of the professions that needs consistent update on what you know.
2402  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betkeen Betting Exchange on: July 19, 2021, 10:14:23 PM
    Hi dear community,
    • Cashback bonus: unlike with other betting exchanges, you receive a bonus every week. Betkeen is the only betting exchange platform in the world to offer a rebate on losses, in the form of cash back, every week.
This got my attention. But you should have posted the direct site as a thread but all the same giving a cash back bonus how long would this offer last because I'm certain the terms and conditions would be something else entirely. It would be better we get the full offer and what is involved because an exchange giving out a weekly cash back sounds like a trick to trap users.
2403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheating in the Nitrogen Poker room... on: July 19, 2021, 09:58:29 PM
I think you should break down what you mean by super user and collisions and how this users can cheat the gambling system of Nitrogen sports and for high stakes I think it's not common only for Nitrogen sports and you stated you have indisputable evidence and I'm yet to see your evidences because I can't believe I system would have weak security when dealing with online investment most especially gambling.
2404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: July 19, 2021, 09:46:45 PM
I would say it's more of luck but it's not common amongst many gamblers. I have a friend who gets in the mood and once this mood comes on him his predictions are always accurate but once he tries to force himself into prediction he just messes the whole system up. I would just say luck plays out atimes during gambling and some persons are highly gifted with special gambling prediction ability that gives them more edge in winning games.
2405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: July 18, 2021, 08:43:29 AM

This is not the case (at least in my country and I know that approximately the same norms work in most countries). The company can write anything to the ToS and the user can even agree with this, but this does not change the priority of the current legislation, so that the user can at any time sue the company and challenge any provision of the ToS, regardless of whether he previously agreed with them or not. The final decision is always up to the court.
You can only get this in civilized countries where  the legislative have the interest of it's citizens at heart but how about countries filled with selfish and monetized leaders who seek their pocket satisfaction waiting for every single opportunity to extort from their citizens.

I am no saying there are no laws restricting most of this ToS from overriding their clients but some countries aren't just suitable for such implementations because it would be an avenue to make massive returns from the complainant and the defendant without passing any reasonable judgement then decide on whom to favour based on who made the highest offer.
2406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on friendly matches on: July 18, 2021, 08:32:42 AM
What do you think about staking on over 1.5 and over 2.5 on international friendlies (both country and club friendlies)? Or do you prefer to go for straight win or draw?
It depends, because performances at country friendlies are quite different from club friendlies. If I was to bet on a country friendly game I would go for a straight win with over 1.5 while for club friendlies which aren't taken serious by most manager would be a draw for me. But I would go for 1 game at a time other than accumulating odds that might end-up with lots of disappointing outcome.

Sincerely predicting this games is a bit difficult atimes so I spend good time selecting my teams both for the country and club teams but from my personal observation countries tend to perform better in friendlies compared to clubs.
2407  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrogenpoker Collusion & Soft Play what to do ? on: July 18, 2021, 08:17:11 AM
If you had beckond on the management of Nitrogen poker when you noticed the game plan it would have made it more easier to tackle seeking a refund would be a bit difficult. You would have just left with the €3k and that would have saved you the trouble. But you can still file a compaint to nitrogensports you might be lucky enough to get a positive response.
2408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Funding project development through slot gaming token on: July 18, 2021, 06:17:23 AM
What if this tokens aren't listed on any exchange yet how do you utilize them? I'm considering this mostly for newer projects except the gambling site comes up with it's own exchange so that winnings could be withdrawn but of course before a gambling site should think of generating tokens an exchange should be available. I guess  the project supporting the ecosystem should possibly mean every gambler has a stake in the project just thinking.

I haven't seen an offer as this so I'm trying to wrap my head around the pros and crons of this offer given
2409  Other / Meta / Re: When is the right time to lock a topic? on: July 17, 2021, 04:42:15 PM
Most times a thread might have gotten the desired answer but some users might still wish to get clearity on a comment  related the post and end up pushing the conversation on so for me there is possibly no specific time for locking a thread except on the ground of spamming or maybe a dispute between users seems to arise from the thread to avoid complicating issues it could be locked.
2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nigerian government changing the state of lotteries on: July 17, 2021, 03:05:58 PM
Lottery generates massive income and should aid in generating revenue for it's metropolis but my fear would be if greed wouldn't be found on the path of this so called leaders knowing how hash the treat their Citizens. Who knows if this could be another plot to extort so as to enable their greedy tummy with loothed funds
    2411  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Security risk on: July 16, 2021, 08:06:10 AM
The risk is associated with crypto exchanges and not crypto currencies and I guess this insecurity is caused by lack of cyber security experts who would help secure the database of this exchanges or insufficient finds to pay for their services. Let's hope we get more advanced features in the near future or some new or intending exchange could work on this limitation and build a better network for their clients.
    2412  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Marriage on: July 16, 2021, 08:01:29 AM
This looks like blockchain meme I doubt if it really existed but it looks appealing and fun to use tokens as virtual rings some might likely adopt it some day it's worth considering. Different tokens are emanating by the second each for different project I wouldn't be surprised if a marriage token is developed  to help raise a good future for married couple over the years. We gradually coming into a very high technological era and so many advancements are trooping in.
2413  Other / Meta / Re: Do You Believe a New Forum Software Will Attract More Users to Bitcointalk? on: July 16, 2021, 07:53:46 AM
It boils down to the features added to make it more attractive and interacting let's consider having a feature like an academy on the new forum software where newbies and existing users could gain knowledge about blockchain technology and other crypto related courses before participating on the forum then having a small exam or test at the end of the course If possible a certificate certainly many new users would have interest and might sign-up to partake in the academy and after which make posts with quality.
2414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Token trade problem on: July 16, 2021, 07:39:21 AM
Tokens are calculated in fraction and as such it depends on the available quantity. Most times the left over token on the exchange is due to conversion rates and inorder to avoid complexity in exchanges some fraction of the token is left and if by any means you try returning the said token back to the exchange a transaction fee is taken again and might still leave some fraction back on the exchange.
2415  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Which language is most suitable for blockchain on: July 16, 2021, 07:32:31 AM
I just rounded up a course in python learning about it's syntax and semantics and I intend doing a dip dive into blockchain technology generally to learn how we can build an open source of trusted ledger network where every user have access to the respective transactions carried out on a network but I feel a little confused about what language would suit in comfortable I was told python is a multi-purpose language and also learnt all language has it's pros and crons with respect to that I wanted a guide line on a language that suits in perfectly

    Thanks .
2416  Economy / Economics / Re: Cybersecurity workers shortage in USA on: July 15, 2021, 04:16:47 AM
I think this should be a big opportunity for IT specialist to venture into cybersecurity get certified and then get employed to help curb the situation on ground. It's in cases as this that people decide to switch occupation to fit into the present need of the society, provide solutions and add relevance to their own existence so the can boast of how the contributed in making an economy what it is
2417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you aren't reading you shouldn't be trading on: July 15, 2021, 04:10:31 AM
What else do I do with my time if I can't devote atleast 8hours every week to refresh my memories on what it takes to keep the profit flowing knowing fully well that different approach works on different market conditions. Some times scalping might be the best and in some cases positional trading might be the best. But in all the sole aim is to make profit I total agree with you @Op we need to read and re-read to gain full mastery
2418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your betting budget on: July 15, 2021, 04:01:06 AM
I plan my gambling budget Every month and set aside 5a% of my income for it's very purpose except on special occasions where I have limited expenses or maybe I had more than my usual salary I might decide to increase my budget. if I draft a budget for gambling i ensure I don't exust all in a single game. I carefully divide my funds and ensure it can serve me throughout the month so I can gamble as often as I want and once it's exusted I wait till the next month
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: July 15, 2021, 03:53:02 AM
I was thinking that many countries are reluctant to legalise certain activities such as gambling, prostitution, smoking, ... and, apart from countries that have strong social and religious restrictions (I refer to those as the death-by-boredom countries) others simply consider than the state should not profit or allow activities that are considered diminishing for the workers or that may harm their health and personal relations (it must be difficult to be an addict to gambling or a prostitute and have a normal life).
A country with poor governance is liable to have higher rates of gamblers most especially with inflation skyrocketed. In such situations people look for means of survival and therefore might not give much attention to government restrictions since the same government can't make the life fair for it's citizens. Imagine biting a child and asking the child not to cry. Most of the addiction from gambling and other social vices is as a result of the same people in authority depriving their subject the right to good existence.
2420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: German Faketoshi is now arrested for his fraud on: July 14, 2021, 08:08:10 AM
He should face his ordeal I wonder why people derive joy in fraudulent acts. A whooping 62BTC that's been so self centered and wicked as well I wonder if he is trying to use illagal means to acquire wealth for his unborn generation. Germany did a great job compared to some uncivilized countries that would even cover the perpetrator then share the fund amongst them self
