2401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2P Bitcoin Volume Hitting All-Time Highs on: October 05, 2020, 09:36:53 AM
I do think we have to actually consider few things here:

Due to the Pandemic people are moving towards a more sustainable and more different approach when it comes to investments and selling/buying their cryptocurrencies. If you are involved in a P2P transaction, I do believe this it the time when you are using bitcoins for real, you also don't have to pay fee time and again , you can get a fair price, therefore this is actually a good deal.

At the same time the exchanges are becoming a little bit difficult for the people to trust and therefore in the end with frauds and scams, people are taking over their freedom in their hands, no doubt there are amazing exchanges with 1 second process time, but their charges are also different.

This means not only the popularity of bitcoins have increased, but also bitcoins is being used P2P without any middle man.

2403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do i convert bitcoin into usd cash? on: October 03, 2020, 06:52:59 PM
Hi , where are you from and what wallet are you using ?
If you are using a wallet which is offline and at the same time works as an exchange platform, you can get very good price.
Even if that's impossible you can go to local bitcoins, make sure to trust sites which are asking for your ID.
I don't think you should actually use other methods, using your ID won't be problematic and it will get you better price.
You can do person to person transactions but I do think for that you can even ask your friends, someone will for sure want some BTC .
But right now I do think you should hold for the moment!!!
The price is going to go up really soon , it was down a little but you will make profits in some upcoming days or weeks .
2404  Economy / Economics / Re: Does China plan to go communist? on: October 03, 2020, 05:45:22 PM
Does China plan to go communist?

China political system is communist from 1949. I believe they were a monarchy before. And occupied by Japaneses during WW2. Chinese economic system was changed from central planed to capitalism in 1978. That was 12 years before east European countries. Central planing cant compete with capitalism. Development and research gets to slow because of lack of competition.

Lack of competition?
The government specifically eliminates the completion if any and therefore if we really think about the past time , the monarchy wasn't that good for the people either.
China is not even comparable to N.Korea!!!
Even though The Chinese government is strict, the North Korea government is the worst in the world.
Apparently in China the Landlords are considered the enemies and the parties wants to free the farmer and give them power. The kids are taught from an early age that what they are doing, the kind of government they have in China is only right! They are brainwashed right from the beginning.
China is communist. Hopefully in the future they would do something better with the governmental system.
2405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone accidentally sent or received BTC to and from another address? on: October 03, 2020, 03:30:43 PM
Well no but back in 2012 I did purchase some BTC and lost the wallet keys and address and everything since I did not expect them to be this valuable.

- I do believe what you said is pretty big since now a days companies are working on kind of a undo button where the person can only receive the transaction when you do have a passcode or something.

This way it would actually be beneficial when you would be doing bigger transactions and at the same time it would be more secure.

It is yet to be used widely!! But I do believe it would solve the problem of many people here. But once I sent the funds to a exchange wallet and accidentally pressed the received payment but the person was good and gave me the money after a day when he got to know that.
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Elon Musk fake giveaway. on: October 03, 2020, 03:04:00 PM
You don't even get a coffee for free and if people keep falling into scams like these the scammers won't even have to try that hard to create problems like this in the future.

-The social media websites are very weak when it comes to security and safety
-People need to start using strong passwords ex:- avast random password generator
-make sure your two factor is on !

Anyone who have a good knowledge of how this works , they can hack into your account and then use it for many proposes such as these.

- Identity what's a scam
- Stay away from things like these and at the same time remember that there is no easy way to earn money in things like these.
- work hard and educate other people about this too
- spread the word when you find cases such as these.
2407  Economy / Economics / Re: Cares Act- How will this effect the economy down the road? on: October 03, 2020, 10:52:54 AM
See I do believe this is a good act for sure and people will be able to get a lot of benefits from it. But I believe we have to focus on the fact that *will they be able to actually help people*, what is the stats of the people they helped ?

Ofcourse this is a good act and would help people in the long run and at the same time the economy will recover way faster.

Plus I do believe investing in stock markets is actually very beneficial at this time since right now due to downgrade of the market people have the potential to buy stocks at much lower rates and at the end they would easily make a lot of profits in the end.
2408  Economy / Economics / Re: "Humans will not be replaced by robots very soon" --- yeah right !!! on: October 03, 2020, 08:10:00 AM
See as long as artificial intelligence takes over and forces humans out to extinction, the word replace comes out a little strong.

The thing is :
Not everyone would be able to afford it
How many of you have that cleaning robot thing in your house ? Not everyone will like it ! Try changing the perception of old people, they prefer everything made by hand and such.
Humans will stop them in advance if they reach the level where they might start replacing them. You would need people to actually take care of them too, clean them, charge them, make sure there are no complications, this large scale replacement would further need more people to be in charge of it.
Yes, there are robots capable of doing human tasks, even in the surgery BUT you need to understand that , they lack the general ability to make decisions, which would always make a human more important!!
2409  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 02, 2020, 08:21:00 PM

This is the first time I ever made a logo 😅
I really believe that there is something free about the cursive plus it looks trendy and cool , therefore wanted to try something different.
(P.S. the software is not purchased! I wanted to just try some new things out. Thus the watermark.)
Thank you
2410  Economy / Economics / Re: The bridge between Wall Street and crypto. (Goldman Sachs) on: October 02, 2020, 06:37:23 PM
I do understand for a fact why these companies want to invest in cryptocurrencies but unfortunately I don't understand why people would buy bitcoins from them?
It is all about having no middle man and therefore why should people not only compromise their privacy but also their freedom!!!
They want cryptocurrencies to be listed in the same list as stocks but unfortunately this is not only wrong but also unnecessary. People actually need to understand the fact that bitcoins don't need the support of big companies to prove that, they are worth it.

Quote
The firm has been building out its trading capabilities to meet the needs of these clients, partnering with custody provider Bakkt on a service that aims to help large investors tap into the digital asset market

...
I don't really understand the point!!!
...
They are decentralized and if you have the keys to your wallet, its owned by no one but you.
...
Don't comprise the freedom and see the buying opportunities out there instead of going for big companies who aims to change cryptocurrencies into some kind of unnecessary stocks to earn some profits.
2411  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: October 02, 2020, 05:58:24 PM
See even though robotics are becoming a big part of today's technology there won't be every restaurant owner willing to invest in it.
Some might prefer the old style way and maybe start vintage chains while we are in a futuristic society getting served by robots.
At the same time , there would be people necessary to take care of the robots, make sure they are charged , clean them , check if they are working correctly, to through the reviews and thus if these jobs close there would be more present in different sector.
Which does mean the people doing hotel management can shift towards IT and software.
This all goes hand in hand, if jobs are less in one sector, people would just move in another, it would still take years to actually achieve the society that would make everyone loose their jobs like this.
Probable but would still take years or decades.
2412  Economy / Economics / Re: Can DeFi be called Decentralized Bank? on: October 02, 2020, 05:30:42 PM
No
I don't think we should call them banks.
The reason I think so:
1. It's not just that but a real world technology whose applications are wide
2. Yes, some might use the lending service but it's very few
3. Everyone is responsible for their own keeping of the particular currency and using it in whatever way they want, whereas in a bank , it's kept with an institution
4. Banks have backups, investors, centralized body, etc.. deFi is very different.
5. They don't need intermediary people
A lot of reasons are there but I won't put them together with banks for sure.!
2413  Economy / Economics / Re: Non-Government Economic System (Anarchy) on: October 02, 2020, 04:56:37 PM
If we give power to one person, it is for sure going to be biased and at the same time it can create further complications in the system itself but no one to question. Even though this plan might sound very interesting but it's irrelevancy lies in the practical application.
We cannot just give people absolute freedom, there might be a percentage of them willing to use underhanded methods to manipulate the market.
I don't want to sound negative but most percentage of people look for just profits, which inturn might cause various problems in the long run, we need a system where it's open! All transactions are visible! They can be tracked by anyone! Like cryptocurrencies, blockchain being used in the market.
This way there won't be any corruption!!
We have to yet find a better governance system, not anarchy, nor governmental system can be 100% effective.
2414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you leverage the power of your Bitcoins? on: October 02, 2020, 04:28:11 PM
It is more beneficial to hold your bitcoins for a long period of time and at the end encash if you are looking to make profits. Leverage gives your power to someone else which could turn out to be really harmful if you choose bad service.

At the same time most of the famous exchanges can even  fall down at once due to government regulations and even problems. We have seen over the years.

I would never leverage my coins.
Rather hold for as long as I can.

At the same time trading is an art which is hard to learn but at the same time if done correctly with experience it can actually get you on a beneficial track.

Quote
No matter what is the multiplier, Leverage trading is the most risky choice

Agreed !! You never know for sure if you are going to get it back!!!! Plus you cannot sell them if the price is too high !! You will have to wait and at the end feel bad.

Keep your freedom!
Trade!
HODL!
2415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Bitcion on: October 02, 2020, 03:44:51 PM
We have been living with this kind of governmental system since years and if we actually expect people to learn everything about bitcoins in 11 years and accept it.

Quote
partnerships...

I do believe we don't even have a backup. This pushes people away from bitcoins and such.

But at the same time it would need some knowledge of how bitcoin works, how to use wallets, how to send/receive money, which is even more difficult for people to get used to.

I cannot expect my father and mother with no knowledge of how cryptocurrencies works to invest in it

I do believe we need:
knowledge
positive news about cryptocurrencies from media and not always the negative one's
acceptance
positive regulations from the government

To actually reach a point where people support the cryptocurrencies and start using it.

Listing BTC on forex trading platforms is a bad idea in my opinion. You're not really purchasing Bitcoin the way you purchase it on crypto exchanges where you can also withdraw. Forex trading sites, AFAIK, only provide you basically a virtual Bitcoin - as in, you cannot request a withdrawal to your personal wallet.
This kills the whole concept of no middle man !
2416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mediocre/People. on: October 02, 2020, 01:20:21 PM
First of all I do believe that it's impolite to call people: mediocre.
Secondly I do think that you are referring to : Middle class people.
The things is , bitcoins is a volatile asset and these people don't really want to invest into something without prior knowledge, which could have drastic results. At the same time we have to make them understand:
The way it works
How it's completely safe
Share your own personal experience
Tell them the benefits of bitcoins
Etc...
You have to ask them what they are afraid of, then explain it to them.
2417  Economy / Economics / Stocks fall down due to trump catching the virus on: October 02, 2020, 12:39:03 PM
Apparently I came across a news where it stated how the US stocks fell down due to Trump and the first lady catching the virus.

Here is the source:
https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-stock-trump-covid

Apparently as usual people got to know this though Twitter. Now the person who wrote this speculated that due to president catching the virus :

Australia ASX
S&P 500
Bitcoins
Gold ( which recovered quite fast)

All of these fell down hours after the news.
But the real question is: Are they related ?

-The president for sure does hold a certain amount of public power to sway their decision for +/- but when we are talking about Trump , I do believe people instead of looking at trump are looking at the falling economy of the US and therefore have lost trust in the stocks itself.

What is your take on this ?
Is the economy dependent on the health of Trump?
2418  Economy / Economics / Re: CFTC Orders JPMorgan to Pay Record $920 Million for Spoofing and Manipulation on: October 01, 2020, 05:53:53 PM
Most companies like JP Morgan do use underhanded methods to manipulate the market and honestly this time they got caught but most of the times they use pawns, pay them healthy sum to keep quiet and at the same time get their jobs done. I started doing job for a very well reputed company here and got to know tons of things about how corrupt they are , but as a general public there is nothing that I can do because even the police and the government are corrupted.
Quote
US$2.687 trillion
What they are supposed to pay , they for sure earned more by manipulating!!!
The system is only cruel for the general public, I remember a man who was in jail for stealing hedge clippers https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/black-man-sentenced-life-after-stealing-hedge-clippers-gets-possible-n1236759 it was back before 2000 but corruption haven't budged a lot from that time.
2419  Economy / Economics / Re: Are the Central Banks starting to worry about the public's perception? on: October 01, 2020, 05:29:41 PM
What they worry about is the perception of a limited amount of percentage. Which includes: Investors, business man etc. Rest is something that comes along the way. If they would have thought more about th general public , we won't need Invention like bitcoins right now. It is important to maintain a public image for them for sure ! For quality purposes, at the same time elections might be near ! Here toh have the reason.

Firstly the banks are benefited from inflation , especially the central one's. I do believe we have yet to see a good deed from their side to even make a good statement for them. It's a web of corruption!
2420  Economy / Economics / Re: USA Economic and power status will go lower new Country will take over on: October 01, 2020, 04:56:37 PM
See the thing is not everything is dependent on the US , most countries are certainly capable of taking care of themselves, even though the US dollar is one of the most important asset in the world but we cannot really rely on anything right at that moment since coronavirus have shifted the economy in ways that we cannot reset. People have already sold their assets and are investing in cryptocurrencies. People are already okay with the fact that US is not the superpower anymore, therefore I do believe that in the future maybe some other countries will take over , since right now it's about surviving, keeping the economy stable and people safe , US economy going down is the least of the worries we should have , rather think about the underdeveloped countries which were struggling from way before.
