2401  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 09, 2021, 08:34:30 AM
~snip~
It’s good on a gambling site to have a whale like this, they are making money out of if and that proves that house will always win, Roobet is worth to play though.
^ Whale? I thought we can hear whale is on the trading market only not here on the gambling, is there they had something to manipulate?
Sorry but this is something new to me now, or probably let us called them a big player, not just a whale. However, you are right, they can afford that big money placing a bet and it does not matter how small or big as long as you have profited that is fine. Nevertheless, the fact that they know how risky it is, but they still gamble using a large amount because they know the big amount to put at risk the possible get profit will also big and good thing there are big players like this here in Roobet.
2402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: July 08, 2021, 10:46:18 PM
~
All gurus and advisors in gambling actually sell empty information and spending money on them is just a waste of money.

I absolutely agree with you. It annoys me that some gamblers are still willing to give their money to those cheaters. Btw, they keep popping up on this forum too. When asked, "If you know a winning strategy why don't you use it yourself to make money?", they respond they were banned from all gambling platforms in their country and all that crap. I mean, c'mon! Who can fall for that garbage these days?

I think it's a part of being a responsible gambler: to not trust those clowns.
^ Only naive and innocent people will most commonly fall on this trap and you are right, cheaters are everywhere lurking people to bite their trap pretending to help but instead, they will wipe out all your money once you wee agreed with them. Responsible gambler is part of being vigilant and always suspicious to anyone who offers their help or asked of being an advisor, in the first place, why not they don't use their skills and make their own money, there are hundreds or thousands of gambling sites to be used. Being responsible will help you to keep safe your money, not unless if you let your money lose in gambling.
2403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know the Cards game..lucky nine, pusoy and tong its on: July 08, 2021, 10:29:40 PM
I guess these games you named are more local because, like many here, I haven't heard of them either. But I play other card games, like poker, baccarat, BlackJack, only not in the apps but using online websites.

Cryptocurrencies are already widely used by online casinos and sportsbooks, it's pretty common, and there are app versions for that stuff as well.
Quote
I think someday bitcoin and other currencies can be used also in this kind of gambling apps.
^ In website gambling platform as we can see cryptocurrencies are very common but I don't think there is in the app. I did hear any of the apps using cryptocurrencies as a coin to use in betting, probably moreover they used their own coins. Nevertheless, and regarding these card games is not popular with me too but based on my research it comes from China or other countries that third world party. Poker is a very common game in all kinds of card games, but I did not find also that there is an app on it that we can use our crypto to bet, most of now is on the website.
2404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fighting Game Betting on: July 08, 2021, 10:02:58 PM
I haven't found a site that does provide bets for games like street fighter at this time, but I personally prefer to bet on Dota games and also counter strikes, because I think bets in dota games are relatively easier for us to win because we can win easily if us know the info on the team that we are hold, and usually I will prefer the Money Line betting form in esports tournaments.
Nowadays we can easily find some information about the playing team, so that we can choose the team that we think has the potential to win, because usually gambling sites only make big and prestigious tournament tournaments for gambling.
^Probably because these Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Tekken, or Injustice 2 games are very old games, and it seems this game is only 1 vs 1 battle. The most common game that has on E-sports gambling are those the player is 5 vs 5 per team. Versus battle is not common in tournaments and I think that is the reason betting on these games does not exist. Nevertheless, I don't see any information on the internet upon searching this, and probably if there is a betting platform like this only where the bettors only know about their bet and not on the public.
2405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most profitable gambling strategies, what are they? on: July 08, 2021, 09:41:06 PM
In the short term, can you tell me what strategy managed to make you win over $200 over the course of the game?

Early in our gambling careers, I'm sure we all tried many different strategies. However, there is no sure-fire strategy to win a game of chance.
The amount won depends heavily on your role. If your stake is small, you will rarely win more than a few hundred bucks in the course of the game. "To win big, you have to bet big." Just remember not to be greedy. $200 in winnings is better than nothing (in most cases).

^ Definitely right, it is all about matter how much did you bet, if you have a big capital, of course, you will see a profit when you will win at least at once. Let say, you have bet in Sports betting and then stop when you saw you have already profited. It is really hard to say where the strategies will effectively win on the gambling because most of the games are based on luck and there is no real strategy. But people always hoping for luck so that they can able to win but in fact, if you have won, that is only a coincidence that will never happen again.
2406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if influential people buy Bitcoin back and forth? on: July 08, 2021, 09:21:43 PM
If influential people will buy Bitcoin back and forth, its impact would be dependent of the range of their so-called mass influence, and the volume of what is being bought and sold. I think that the volatility of crypto will not be eliminated regardless of this, but there would be possibilities that fluctuations can be manipulated if people would act under the influence of such personalities.
This has happened a lot of times and as big whales come to control the market, price flucuations will be much affected. The whales will make the whole crypto market dump so they can take advantage and buy the coins while they are still cheap.

But as expected everytime a big celebrity comes to manipulate the market, the result will only be temporary and eventually the market still recover again and will be back to normal. Just like what Elon has made an impact to the market and then after a while, everyhthing's back to norma again.
^ Because people learn not to follow him and probably people know that they are under manipulated, manipulation sometimes is so obvious by big whales who want to make a huge market cap. We should not have follows what those influencers said about the market price or in crypto in general. Because it is normal that there is manipulation but everyone will hold on and no wants will sell, it will contribute to rase BTC price again and also other cryptocurrencies that we can trade.
2407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 07, 2021, 09:55:14 PM
~snip~

If you mean the process of the emergence of gambling addiction, then most likely the game should constantly tease the player. The winnings should always be close and there should be a feeling that a little more and you will win the jackpot so the player will try more and more until he is out of money. And even after that, he will try to find money and return to the game in order to feel that feeling of a big win soon.
^ You have a point, in fact, there is totally irrelevant between the gamblers and the online gamers. Online gamers like this high graphics and high grading of the game but gamblers are the same, they look after the money and the chase on it even though they experience losses. So you can't compare these two things, the gamer, and the gambler because the truth is they are totally different. But for me, still, I prefer the user interface, I am sometimes lured with the color and design.
2408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Million dollar win on $15 parlay whoa on: July 07, 2021, 09:41:59 PM
I think it has inspired me now, lol.. maybe I'll start putting huge parlay so one day I'll be able to make a fortune in gambling. They say no one wins in big parlay but that's the proof, when you are really lucky, nothing is impossible and I just can't imagine how the owner o the bet feels while watching the game., especially the last leg to settle.
Be careful though because parlay is a difficult one to win from, this person was just at the right place and right time and that he won this big. Remember that this isn't a thing that will happen to anyone, this might not even happen again for a really long time.
^ That is good advice, but you can try at least a small amount not just the huge one, if this lucky winner can able to win from $15 to a million-dollar, that is possible too. This man did not expect that he will become a millionaire, with a small amount probably also he tries to have a low bet. There is no guarantee that you will win in a parlay but once luck is in your side, at least you know you are trying a small amount that you can afford to lose.
2409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: July 06, 2021, 10:13:01 PM
~snip~
Some gambling sites ask KYC when withdrawing and didn't ask for KYC when registering an account.
^ Not only when registering, but it is also included that allows you to deposit your fund which is you had become a headache knowing the fact that it requires KYC so that you can able to withdraw your fund. Sometimes we have a lazy feeling about not ready for the TOS, but for me, even though you are not reading the TOS that is fine, as long as you are reading the FAQ which gives an instant idea and knowledge. This way, we can avoid possible errors in the future and this is also for our own benefit not to have mistakes.
2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 06, 2021, 09:58:30 PM
They're both aggressive and I didn't expect that they're really a good match but from what I've seen, Inoue has been more aggressive, and his punches hit Donaire so hard. However, I believe that Donaire could win that fight but he only needs to learn how to counter every punch that Inoue might throw him. It was indeed a hard fight for Inoue.
Inoue is a good technical fighter and if there are some possible adjustments made by opponent then he would just simply change his style or he's too observant and he does know
on when to attack and he does know on when to wait for some openings on the opponent.Im not that overrating Inoue but based up on how this kid fight then you could really
say that this is really monster which cant really be easily be beaten up but lets see if Inoue vs Donaire would push through or donaire vs Casimero would still
have the chance to continue or resume.

As of now, the only one who can match up with Inoue is Casimero, they haven't fought yet that's why I'm saying that.

It's good if we can see the prime Casimero and Inoue in the ring, but it would not happen if Inoue will not win against Donaire.

There's no schedule yet, all of this is just rumors, but the fight of Casimero on August 14 (IIRC) will push through, so let's wait for the result, if Casimero will win, he would just wait for the result of the Inoue vs Casimero rematch, whoever wins should give him a chance to fight.
^ If that so, Donaire will wait until the Casimero and Inoue fight will be done until he can ask for a rematch to Inoue I am right? It supposedly Inoue and Donaire fight not the Casimero here. However, if that is their decision much better there is a long fight between these boxers before there is Donaire and Inoue's match. I am so excited to see when this fight will happen just like also Manny Pacquiao's fight between Spence.
2411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: July 03, 2021, 09:30:25 PM
I think if you often guess the price movement of bitcoin on several sites and use money for betting then it is certain that it includes gambling and the risk you do is very big because the predicted bitcoin price is not always correct, it is better to predict the price without spend money but can pay off when your guess is right.

But what price movement would you expect next? It is almost impossible to tell.

Even if you were able to guess the price movement relatively well, you'd be better in opening a leveraged position just with Bitcoin instead of using it to gamble. Also, it is not like Bitcoin is losing 20% a day. If you gamble with $100 in Bitcoin, you double your Bitcoin and Bitcoin loses 10%, you are still left with your $80 in addition to your betting money. Doesn't sound too bad.

Then don't think of the price movement, just think of the fees and if it still bothers, you, think of converting your bitcoin to altcoins to start gambling. We are making this gambling thread a trading thread, and in gamblers perspective it's not right because instead of strategizing to win, we have not become a trader concern on the chart for the next bitcoin movement.
^ I got your point here and that is right, does not matter about the price because you are using BTC or other cryptos just because it is convenient using them in gambling. We are here to gamble not a trader, so if you don't want a very volatile currency then don't use cryptocurrency but instead fiat because the price will not pump or dump since it is a stable currency. The problem of the fiat upon using the gambling is possible your identity becomes expose because you can't send fiat without a bank.
2412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL...until when? on: July 03, 2021, 09:14:40 PM
I guess it can be said that patience is truly a virtue in cryptocurrency. While it is true that there are risks in holding, primarily the devaluing of coins, there are also benefits and rewards waiting for those who do. I personally hold until the day came that I think it is time. I take all the time that I need in researching and deciding when to actually do it, to maximize the profit that I may gain. But it is important to also consider that there is volatility and so lost chance to sell for a good price is melancholy.
^ Probably those people that can hold longer time are those people who have abundant resources when it comes to financial, because the reason to pull out your investment is when the most you needed and there is nothing left with you, so even you know that the market had crushed too much. You still sell your BTC to fiat just because you need financial support. I hold some BTC, but sometimes when I need badly a money I can't control myself selling a small portion that I holding in my portfolio. Nevertheless, if you can able to hold for how many years and set as a retirement plan, much better.
2413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: July 03, 2021, 08:50:10 PM
In most of the cases when the person dies, his crypto would become useless if his family member do not know about his keys.

I do not usually tell my password or keys to anyone and i know majority of the people don't do this. We are being taught to keep the keys safe.
No one think that one day he will die and in that case, his family won't be able to use those savings (bitcoin/crypto) if they don't know the keys.
Also people won't like to share keys with siblings or wife because they can misuse them . So what could be the solution to this  Huh
If you do not want to give your seed words or your private keys to your family members then there are several ways in which you could deal with this, one is to simply give this information on your will so when you die they have access to your coins, another option is to tell them where the keys are stored and only give them the access to those coins once you die by using your lawyer, and yet another option that exists is that you can use time locked transactions to inherit your coins that way.
^ If no one will access your private key your coins will be lost forever and based on what I have read on the prediction BTC article. Lost BTC has been increased year by year and it will affect upon redusing the entire market circulation. If no one will inherit your coins that will possibly happen to your coin when you died, it becomes useless at all. That is why from the start let your family member oriented basic information of BTC and how it work so that they will have an idea about this.
2414  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Crypto Calculator on: July 03, 2021, 08:24:03 PM
Have any users tried the invention out in real game calculation to see how effective or useless the invention is, I guess we are all trying to bash the ops base on our assumptions of how useless the dice calculation idea could be.
So far I haven't done much research on this subject,
but it would be very interesting to read if someone could shed some light on this useless assumption in dice counting now.
^ You are already pointing on, this is a useless tool and there is no such thing that can able to calculate the dice game strategy.
When I was reading the title, I did not bother myself checking this because I know it will not work and it will probably waste your time checking with a nonsense one. Probably people who are desperate to win or make money in gambling will most likely bite this offer because they are willing to put risk even it is not necessary.
2415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fully vaccinated individuals now spared of masks in the casinos in Vegas on: July 03, 2021, 08:15:52 PM
~snip~
we can't  deny the fact  that there are people who waned to feel free, those are the targets mostly of this action from the owners of this casinos,   people who wanted to play like in a normal ways of gambling, those gamblers  will go there and start enjoying without those annoying safety health protocols,  believing that with the full those of vaccines they are already immune with this virus and they can act normally.
^ Then they should accept that we are now in the new normal stage, there is nothing we can do to come back to the normal situation and everyone now adopt this protocol for our own safety. Even though you are vaccinated, yet we don't have 100% sure that you are totally immune, the chances of infecting the virus probably 50% and there is no full assurance that you are safe. We should do what is the right thing not for temporary happiness. As long as you can, always wear at least a facemask in all public places to avoid the virus keep spread if we want to have the freedom to go outside.
2416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 03, 2021, 08:06:04 PM
^ We have nothing to do is to have ourselves vaccinated in order to immune our body to the virus so I think most of us need vaccines even though there are no prizes waiting ahead. People of this country are soo lucky because their government implements such prizes but I think only 1 lucky winner right?
Only Pfizer? how about the other brand? Probably they had a commission of this vaccine brand why they only selected Pfizer instead of the other brand. And that is definitely very exciting, it seems the prize is good and probably people there will hoping that they will get the prize. How I wish I have been there or our government too.
2417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Important Factors while joining a new Casino on: July 03, 2021, 07:03:26 PM
What's the must thing you consider while joining a new casino? These days there are a lot of casinos and gambling sites which offer some good promotional reward which can be a good option for the regular gamblers. But joining a new casino or gambling site is huge risky as you may get scammed at the end of the day. So, what are the factors you look at when you want to try a new casino?
^ Most likely when there is a new online gambling casino lunched, I prefer to wait 2-3 weeks before depositing money, if there is a free test like a faucet or anything that free on the site I will test. Most likely a new casino is full of bugs, you need to adjust with that or find the bug and report it to them and it will probably have a reward. However, sending a small amount is always good to test a new gambling site $5-10 will probably won't hurt you if this will lose to try in a gambling site and always seeking feedback from your fellow gamblers of what they experience.
2418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: July 02, 2021, 09:05:10 PM
In a general statement, it's really true that it's not easy making money in crypto. Why? because crypto investing is a high risk, it would not belong to a high-risk investment if everything is easy. However, you are right, and I agree with you that it depends on your skills as we can see some people who really made a fortune by just trading and investing in crypto, and it's proven to be legit.
^ But as they say, high risk means a high potential of gaining profit. I agree that cryptocurrency is a high-risk investment but I don't think if all of them have the same risk. Because for me, investing in BTC is less risky than the lower rank altcoins and a newly listed coin. It is not easy to make money in crypto if you don't have the skills and knowledge to know which one is legit and which one becomes a scam exit. Nevertheless, trading also has a different status of risk and I think the riskier is trading than investing in cryptocurrency.
2419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with Bitcoin whenever you're able to? on: July 02, 2021, 08:51:47 PM
Paying with bitcoin through the lightening network is good, because it gives immediate transaction confirmation which is top priority from the buyer and seller perspective. However it'll surely charge a small amount as transaction cost.
^ Lightning Network transactions are always good but the problem here is not that all online merchants accept BTC as payment and not all wallet-supported lighting networks to save fees. If I don't have money there is a good alternative for that, BTC is always good in all investments and becomes an alternate form the fiat. So, BTC here is just like a rescue team who was a rescue to fiat when there is no left behind if you have no choice, you can use your BTC at all times everywhere you are.
2420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: July 02, 2021, 08:40:47 PM
Everyone who needs money or wants to buy something does sell. Another group are investors who think they are losing their money. I don't include traders at all, they want to keep buying and selling. So people who do not believe in bitcoin are usually very shaky out again.
^ I don't even know what is the reason either and based on the marketcap price, BTC was in the range of $33 plus this week or this month, I don't see any improvement right and it seems there is someone controlling the price. I don't see there was selling, but I believed there is a manipulation of the price which makes the price was struggling in that range. There are too many factors that we must be considered and I don't think selling was the main reason behind the price. Look at now, once again the influencer on Twitter trying to pump the price through his tweet.
