1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: February 10, 2022, 10:28:07 PM
I think the reason why Bitcoin would always best out most of these other crypto currencies in the market is because that it is truly decentralized. Other cryptocurrencies that you are going to see are not fully decentralized, and in one way or the other they are being controlled by some people, although they would say that they are decentralized.
^ Truly decentralized is very important and you are right.
I am a BTC user, but I prefer not to compare the two because I believe they are both superior and have separate paths to take. Except for bragging rights, it does not matter which is the better and bigger one. ETH is already more widely used and has a larger number of developers working on it. That is to be anticipated in a network with so many possibilities, after all. As ETH has gained more value, Bitcoin's overall market share has been declining in recent months. But then, the only thing they have in common is that they both use the same currency and make a profit.
On my own, we seem to compare gold and silver which is all are the same have a value.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 10, 2022, 10:09:28 PM
I personally don't believe in this metaverse thing and think that its overrated. I don't know may I'm bad at understanding this but there will no casino in mataverse which will boom suddenly because its not interesting and enjoyable for me and the majority of my friends.
At the beginning, you're actually right.

But with the shift of the popularity of the metaverse. We'll never know how the market is going to welcome that. But if it's related to cryptocurrencies and with the gamblers new choice of setting.

It's very likely that many are going to start liking it. As of now, we can't see how good it will be but time will come and it's like the judgment day if people are really into it or not.
^ It is too early to predict that thing though it becomes a hot topic now about the metaverse and the cryptocurrency which is I have doubt that it will boom when there is someone successfully launch their project. For now, I think they are still developing on it and no one is impressed yet who knows next year or this year this metaverse will become a trend in the market with different industries including this gambling industry which is already adopting metaverse and cryptocurrency.
1663  Economy / Gambling / Re: MysticBets.io - Community Owned Sportsbook on: February 10, 2022, 09:47:07 PM
~snip~
I don't know if this website is made for scamming people with their token, but I would not use it myself.
^ It looks the same and I agree with your statement but it is too early to judge them, probably gives them a chance to explain this and it could be the dev team of this casino was familiar with the sportsbet.io. They are a very new gambling casino, 7 months I think is not good enough but at least they are almost 1 year in service, their site registered on 2021-07-08 not unless they are a fresh bake gambling casino. Nevertheless, anyone those who want to try only sue a small amount.
1664  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io -Welcome to a new crypto friendly casino!!! on: February 09, 2022, 10:20:37 PM
^ @Flavio, good to see that you are very active in answering those questions and it seems your ANN thread has been got interested to most gamblers because also the promotions that you had. I also visited your gambling casino and it is good, the UI has attracted me when I was there because it is really friendly user. I hope nothing will change when you are at the top, keeping this thread alive is a good indication that your gambling casino is very responsive to any issues that will come. Keep it up Flavio.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Government Really Ban Crypto? on: February 09, 2022, 09:53:42 PM
Government can't literally ban cryptocurrency but they can issue a ban of using cryptocurrency and those who are found using or owning some crypto will be send to prison. Though many government can't do anything so that's why the government in other country will make their own crypto website, exchange site, wallet provider or an exchange that is also wallet but it is regulated by the government where they can benefit from it just like in my country where a wallet I used to buy, sell and trade crypto is regular by the central bank.
^ Probably not all of them can be regulated, how about those using non-custodial wallets and keep buying and selling on P2P exchange.
For me, I think they can't ban digital forms of fiat completely, on the grounds that they control the public authority does not imply that they can handle each unique individual also. That would be a hard game to play I guess. Nations who ban BTC will clearly not see it right yet they think about BTC as something pointless with no worth and soon to fall. They can always prohibit the use and acquisition of BTC, but they can never prevent people from utilizing it even if they face legal consequences if they do not comply with the ban's enforcement.
1666  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: February 09, 2022, 09:36:19 PM
Bitcoin will not kill the Central Banks, rather I think they will adopt bitcoin. Perhaps not so soon but in due course when they see no other way out than to join or we will continue to see it as we have done now.
Centralization has had so much power that they cannot bend to decentralization. There are also the great elites that have their great tentacles and love absolute control.
^ The fact that they think BTC is a big threat to the banks and the financial system probably is the reason.
There is a lot of talk about BTC destroying banks, but that is not feasible at all. Because no one has yet regulated BTC, no law can be enacted to overthrow the fiat system, and governments may easily wipe bitcoin from their financial systems if they chose to prohibit its use in their country. BTC will never kill central banks, and has no power of deleting or killing central banks and governments will never allow this to happen.
1667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino KYC how it works and to what effect on: February 07, 2022, 09:46:22 PM
What are KYC's advantages and disadvantages.
The negative side of KYC in casinos for me is similar with doing KYC on other platforms, exchanges, and others. It is about the security guarantee of our personal data, if that is exactly secured or not. We know how cruel the digital crimes are if they are using your personal data dan identity. So far, that's one of what we are afraid of.

The pros? Well, probably it is about the requirement from the casino platform itself to ensure that the user doesn't come from the restricted countryies. Additionally, they also want to ensure that the user is real, not the bots or connected account maybe?
^ Less fraud if there is a KYC verification process and that is only pros when there is a KYC but there are a lot of disadvantages on it when a casino required KYC procedures. They can steal our identity and abuse it via selling into the dark market and using our identity on an illegal side which is without knowing us. However, in any platforms that require selfie and ID verification, I avoided them, basin KYC requirement is quite good like name and email address is usually common and good to go.
1668  Economy / Gambling / Re: SandboxCasino.io サンドボックス It's Simple: Fun and Fair. on: February 07, 2022, 09:34:29 PM

So there is no difference between Owl.Games casino and SandboxCasino? Even Owl.Games still have bugs when opening some rooms. Apart from all that, I still don't know the whole thing and don't really know much. Regarding the bonus, it is actually very minimal if we talk about $ 5 and it is worth what is offered, in fact, the profit is even greater.

I suspect that FrankBank is admin keeping this thread active whether he know or not that these 2 sites owl.games and Sandboxcasino are run by the same company
To be sure this site is managed by a different management so they don't know each other, IMO. Bugs often occur on new sites to solve it quickly should make a bug bounty program, did you also find a bug here?
There should be some sort of clarification or announcement whether the two sites is owned or run by a same company or not.Checking out their website design then its a bit off or not
similar at all but i havent checked out further details because these words wont come out without having something been found out. When it comes to bugs then there would be
always a fix and it would vary on them on how fast they would react to it and fix it which it would be good if it would be done right away.
^ I believed they are not the same owner and as what FrankBank stated above they had different teams behind these projects.
If you will compare the two gambling casinos, they are totally different and I don't who's the idea that thinking they are the same owner.
However, it is a good gambling casino with a very nice user interface that is very friendly to the user's eye. Also, the promos are good, that is the very ideal strategy that can lure gamblers to visit in your casino.
1669  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for the future. on: February 05, 2022, 09:59:37 PM
~snip~
If it is possible for you to have multiple high paying skills, that is good, the problem is in not having any.

^ In my own, yes, a lot of graduates became jobless and have not been given an opportunity to apply in a job related to the course they have graduated. This is the common incidences that change the mindset of a lot of people to find a high-paying skill job instead of going to school because it is being instilled in their minds, after schooling you cannot still work with your course and become jobless. It is very an advantageous thing to some but not for everyone. We must learn that education is still important because we do not know what kind of life awaits us in the future, education plays a big role in preparing our better future. Being jobless when finished study, requires courage and hard work. But if you're still jobless and did nothing, that was already your choice.
1670  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Gifting Bitcoin to minor on: February 05, 2022, 09:57:50 PM
I would like to gift Bitcoin to a minor - how would I do this please?
^ Gifting it to someone is a great thoughtful gesture on your part, but you must consider his or her age. Does that minor already have the necessary understanding and has studied the entire notion of BTC ownership? You should also consider whether the child is responsible enough to care for what you have given to him/her so that it does not go to waste. After that, consider the steps you probably learn on how to give BTC as a gift with this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5190702
1671  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: February 05, 2022, 09:53:28 PM
I want to utilize more focus sites as I am a regular player. I mostly keep digging and looking for more facuts sites to win some satoshi. Of course, it's always better if you earn some satoshi before depositing your money on their wallet to help you meet the minimum withdrawal possibility and get more money instantly. But before that, you should always read some terms and conditions of the websites you may know how the facuts works and how much you can win. This list may help many people find their favorite facuts in less time, especially newbies.

^ If you really wanted to chase faucets just to earn a very tiny amount, why not to chose BC.GAMES and it seems they offer up to 1BTC which is I don't believe that there is someone who got 1BTC from their faucets. Do you think that is true? or that is just a marketing strategy that will lure gamblers to open an account because of the free BTC that could get, and that is right, there will always be a minimum amount that is required before you can get the amount from the deposit or probably it requires a wagering amount.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 05, 2022, 09:44:48 PM

Quote
And I wouldn't be surprise if Ancajas will be the slight favorite. And this could be the another must watch fight for Philippines.
I expect that he will be the favorite, and I also expect that he will win.

Tomorrow we will be in the new month or February 2022, so this means the fight is fast approaching and yet we still have no idea about the betting odds of this fight. Well, I don't know if the information from this site is accurate, but this tells the odds of the favorite sportsbook which I'm sure are going to list this game.

https://www.bettingexpert.com/boxing/fernando-martinez-vs-jerwin-ancajas

I guess we should monitor the top 3 bookies, for sure they'll be the first to list the betting odds. Those are fiat bookies, right? honestly, I don't have an account but I'm hoping we can access the betting odds without opening an account, but a summary of the odds would be enough for us to have an idea of what to wait from out favorite crypto bookies.
^ Yes they are all fiat-based bookies but you can able to use your BTC but not directly deposit to the site.
In Bet365 you can use your BTC to bet by opening a Neteller account, this is a very convenient way to fund Bet365 if really you wanted to use it to place a bet on this match which looks like a very exciting match. I hope there is on the Sportsbet.io soon so that we can able place a bet on those who do have not an account listed above.
1673  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Slots Games to Play in 2022 on: February 05, 2022, 09:31:12 PM
^ I did not convince with the list of the OP and it seems the list was lack of information inside, when you are talking about the game provider you should also state the weak one compared to the real one. Here it is, https://www.gamblingsites.com/slots/providers/.
However, due to the metaverse becoming a widespread event, VR game is now very popular and I am waiting for when we can able to have VR equipment and try them with the slot game. This allows the user to experience to have a realistic experience that mirrors what they would encounter on an actual casino floor.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Evolution Thiefs but no help from stake support on: February 05, 2022, 09:19:17 PM
I don't think it makes sense for a casino as well-known as Stake to cheat its user for $22. They have a good reputation and there must be some kind of mistake. The player could have accidentally pressed the wrong button without even noticing it. If it was a bug on the gambling site, we would have heard about such situations more than once. But if the player is 100% sure of his right then he definitely need to seek justice.
^ Definitely right and you have a good point there, I think they will not scam that very tiny amount for them, $22 is almost nothing for them and I think they will not scam that small amount. There could be many factors that happen and I think calling them a thief is not necessary because you are not proven yet. So for now, the best thing that you can do OP is approached them nicely reading your issues, I don't think they will not listen to you in that way but there's nothing wrong if you will try them.
1675  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 05, 2022, 09:03:11 PM

I agree. NFTs are just a gimmick which is still receiving attention unexpectedly for a long time now and I don't think Roobet should venture into that market since it's quite risky for both them and the artists themselves.

Most NFTs go unsold and the ones that do get sold are usually created by popular artists from around the world. Roobet should stick to the traditional payment model in my opinion.

I have the same opinion. I don't understand the hype for the NFT's at all. On the other hand, from a business standpoint, it would make sense if Roobet also starts with this as it super popular right now and it would be smart to just ride that wave also and create some extra profit.
^ NFT's projects are good as of now and they are also making a profit on it and probably they are have the same purpose of making money.
NFTs are not that hard to adopt so I think if there is anyone who will attempt to report it will quickly spread out the trend. The trend of NFTs is very common as of now because we have a different artist who participated in the event. If Roobet was also involved this probably with a good purpose too.
1676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet365 and UFC extended their partnership on: February 05, 2022, 07:53:17 PM
Gambling platforms have to find exact moment to take advantage of what will give profit to their company like having partnership with UFC or other sports or esports. Let's just hope that it won't become a disadvantage to the site or cause trouble for bettors. I'm sure this would be a good partnership but it would be much better if bet365 could do something to cryptocurrency like introducing it to people who don't know about cryptocurrency. I doubt that some people heard bitcoin in movies or series but still didn't know that it's real.
^ One thing that I only see here, is they want to extend their partnership to extend because it is working and it has profited.
That is how will work on a business, it is a part of a big name this Bet365 was already has shown about their potential of making a profit.
So I think most of here the reason is also about crypto especially in bitcoin which is for sure it brings awareness to the people and when the two big companies will tie-up.
1677  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pragmatic play slots not available in my region on: February 05, 2022, 07:37:04 PM
~

I have changed my "Seed" several times, to see if it is the Seed... but it is still very bad.  Roll Eyes  Anyone noticed this... ?
Hm? Changing "seed" on pragmatic slots? To be honest it's the first time I heard such a thing, how did you do that? I had quite some time playing slots from pragmatic but never did or saw such an option to do that. I'm aware there are a few provably fair slots (from the third party) out there, meanwhile the number is really tiny as far I know.
^ No one can change the seed and I think it is hard for them to monitor the site for making any fraud on it.
However not unless someone will modify this but as far as I know this is licensed which is as a game developer, I don't know how either to work the provably fair but I think it was built on the pragmatic system. Let us try later.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Snooker Game on: February 05, 2022, 07:23:35 PM

I am not that big of an expert about snooker myself but i have a friend that plays snooker in a club and is pretty damn good at it. Snooker is one of those sports that a lot of people don't really know about but it still huge in certain countries, especially in Britain if i am not wrong and the top snooker players are all millionaires, so Snooker is definitely no joke and also big business if you are good at it. In that regard it is pretty similar to darts in my opinion. Also Snooker and Darts are good sports to bet at in my opinion.

Yes indeed, snooker is mainly popular in the UK and in China. There are a lot of young talents coming from China but currently the best players are still from the UK (O'Sullivan, Trump). It is indeed big business as the world champion can win 500,000 pound!
^ That is quite big business and you are right about snooker and I wonder why that kind of game did not have in a gambling casino right now. The snooker game is very popular in my place and that is billiards which is also good and it seems people looking for a game that something can increase your chances of winning, not like on others that is purely fidging against the house edge.
1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: February 04, 2022, 11:01:45 PM
What is real is the risk, if you don't calculate the risk very well, then the fear will come. Investing in bitcoin does not guarantee you'll be financially free in the future as those people who are successful now took risk and they are also realistic enough to see the possible bad side of bitcoin which is failure of their investment.
^ Fear exists normally once working with crypto, but in order to avoid losing money, we must exercise discipline and never become greedy of money, as well as manage ourselves to overcome our fear. However, it is unrealistic to demand it from newbies who are eager to see their investment develop and become concerned when they encounter difficulties, perhaps, they will learn from their mistakes.
But I remember my grandfather once said, if you don't want to risk you don't become success.
1680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Half Bitcoin 🤗 on: February 04, 2022, 10:56:26 PM
Every step taken in the crypto market is knowledge gained. Now that you already have experience in buying half a bitcoin, you will easily be able to buy the other half the next time you have made your decision.
it's not easy to get the next half bitcoin if you don't have much money. if you rely on market analysis in short-term investing it's like playing dice, nothing is certain. It is very difficult to guess the price of bitcoin, because if it was easy to guess the price of bitcoin, everyone would be rich.
^ Definitely right, it is very expensive.
Earning a half BTC isn't easy, you went through a lot of difficulties and you did great. By investing time and effort,  you are making sufficient development due to the fact you're ever getting to know that is simply the principle of mystery to getting greater towards your intention from getting half to the whole bitcoin. Keep working and keep holding your BTC.
