1581  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 03, 2022, 10:27:14 PM
Am a day trader, after selling my coin I always leave it in usdt in the exchange, I believe their is no need sending the coin to my non custodial wallet address because I will be needing it the following day, I know my fund is not really safe in an exhange wallet address but I just have to leave it their to avoid stress and unnecessary gas fee, but whenever am holding a coin for a long term immediately after buying a coin from exchange I always make sure I transfer the coin to my non costodial wallet address because I believe my funds are safe their and whenever u want to sell I transfer d coin back to the exchange.
^ This is why from the start, picking a good and reputable exchange is a must because you need to leave your money on the exchange where you can entrust your money. But doing it in a long term is not a good idea, I mean probably it could be months but after you actively do trading, you must withdraw it and not let your money sleep on the exchange wallet. Becaue we never know what will happen next if we store our assets on the exchange wallet, from time to time they are vulnerable to hack and it is also good if the exchange has a secure fund like Binance have SAFU.
1582  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world of sport reacts to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on: March 03, 2022, 10:21:37 PM
You know, Ukraine and Ukrainians might be the victims here in this war but looking at it critically, you could also tell that, Russians are paying a great price for the decisions of Putin. Fortunately, it's for the good of the Republic of Russia for which all Russians share a part but the price they now pay seems so much. The word can't even look at the face of a Russian right now, not to tall of doing business with them or even, sharing a table, bus or meal with a Russian. The funny thing is, if it were left in the hands of the Russian citizens, this war could have been ended, following the protest they've carried out across there country but, its Putin's war .
^ Ukrainian probably a victim but I think also the Rusian citizen is a victim too and you are right, this is a Putin's fight which is only his goal to have a more powerful country and invading other country makes them strong. A Russian citizen has been also suffered not only Ukrainian, look at those people who have a business for example in the gambling industry, I think not all investors in one company that based in Russia are all Russian, so they are affected by this Russian invasion, and sports now has been reacted too which is I think should not. It will probably have a postponed but wont stop.
1583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever subscribe to any tipser giving sports betting premium picks? on: March 03, 2022, 10:01:38 PM
When I was still new to sports betting, I saw a lot of posts from a company or individual offering their premium pick if you will subscribe to them. The subscription fee defers, some are cheap while some offer a high subscription but they all promise the same thing, "long-term profitability".

So the question here is, does anybody here actually subscribe to any tipster who gives sports betting premium picks, and how much is did you pay?

What was the experience, is it profitable or do you feel you got scammed?
^ Basically, I don't believe those tipsters so I did not have an experience like this even though I am more frequent in sports betting.
Just imagine, why do they bother themselves giving tips others, having this kind of offering service if they know even themselves that this is 100% working. Why not do it on their own just to make money, right?
Yeah, that what was I have felt, just like I have got scammed if I will subscribe to them, instead, making my own research is technically free and I don't need those tipsters.
1584  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 03, 2022, 09:52:29 PM
I don't think it's the right idea, that's just a gambling platform so for me, I will continue to support a gambling site even if it's operating from Russia, but now 1xbit or 1xbet for sure as I am not using them due to their reputation. That's just my personal thoughts, we are free to do anything we want though.

I also don't see it as a right way to support Ukraine because it won't make things better but rather affect innocent people who are just trying to run a gambling business. There are other ways to support Ukraine and ruining businesses isn't a good idea and it won't also bring down Russia. Their economy is too strong to be affected by this boycott.
^ Definitely right and I am also at your side.
People in Russia were suffering now because of this sanction that supported from different countries, they are innocent in my view, their leader should be suffered alone not the entire people of Russia, and now those gambling businesses we want them to down because they have come from Russia. No, that is not the right thing, they don't deserve to have a sanction but I more agreed that their selfish leader should give lessons to learn. Invading a small country to expand power is not the right thing.
1585  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake charging $3.09 on a $1.69 withdraw on: March 03, 2022, 09:41:32 PM
Some sites charge a fee, others do not. The fee of the blockchain network seems very normal to me that it is paid by the gambling site, that is an extra that the site has to accept. Apart from that, there are sites that charge a certain fee and some sites do not charge a fee at all. If you request a payment via a certain electronic system, I could imagine that a fee has to be paid, because, for example, you also have to pay a fee as a bank holder for bank transfers to certain countries. This is then passed on to the customer. However, if it only concerns a crypto transaction, my opinion is that a gambling site should not charge a fee because it costs nothing.
^ Even a casino imposed a dynamic fee will probably charge a fee the same on the network fee, I don't bother myself withdrawing such a small amount and complaining about it here. Just continue gambling if you have that amount and who knows from that $1.6 will turn to $100 that is enough amount for you to withdraw and it makes sense to complain about it here.
Nevertheless, if you will analyze all exchanges or any platform is a required fee not unless they will cover the fees which are I have doubt there is a minimum withdrawal.
1586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: smal USDT balances ?? what to do ?? on: March 02, 2022, 11:42:41 PM
~snip~
btw does the same fees apply to USDC/ doge/ LTC ??

thanks,
^ These are very low fees, especially DOGE coin, avoid using a coin that has based on ERC20 which is as of now it has a huge fee because the Ethereum network becomes a very high fee. USDC will probably be a good choice too when you are Binance platform to exchange. Nevertheless, you have learned quickly and avoid those mistakes, use Binance wallet to accept any crypto and convert quickly into fiat and withdraw to your bank account. Binance exchange has a very low fee and this gives you the advantage to use as a receiving payment but of course, don't store your coins there for a long time.
1587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PROFIT must not be top priority in trading, instead of LEARNING first. on: March 02, 2022, 11:16:17 PM
It's why newbies in trading are always advised to only use money they can afford to lose because making losses while trading is something that will happen throughout a person's trading career.

Yes, and these newbies have no idea what this trading means. Most of them has been influenced by social media, many promotional ads mentioning good and high return upon trading, and these newbies take the bait.

I think this is the time to stop believing of what we saw online as these people never know exactly how trading works. And I think we need to help these newbies realize the risk in trading without backup knowledge coz it is certainly different if we have these things and the result too opposite.
^ Not only influenced, but it also convinced by their friends, relatives or any close to them saying that trading is a good investment but the fact is they after for the affiliate program that the trading platform has. Trading is very risky if you don't have enough skills on it and knowledge about it, people should understand first how it will work before proceeding into this kind of making a profit because it is not easy to generate profit in trading.
Nevertheless, we can't blame them if they really wanted to explore and that is normal to have losses before you will learn.
1588  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world of sport reacts to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on: March 02, 2022, 10:43:44 PM
^ I am not on their side but I feel pity for them because they are innocent people and I don't know if they are even a pro-Putin which they are.
It seems there is discrimination against all Russian players and athletes because their country invaded Ukraine and now they are suffering too from what their country did. There is too many sports event that has been canceled or postponed, the gambling industry was been affected too.
Nevertheless, this is not the right.
1589  Economy / Gambling / Re: BustabitWin.com | Crash Game Bonus of 100% of the Deposit Amount 🚀🚀🚀💥💥💥 on: March 02, 2022, 10:05:47 PM
You can use your account as a Wallet.
^ What a pathetic scammer, the community busted it here, good for you.
Never use any third party as your BTC wallet, they want to stay your BTC on their platform because when it is enough funds to run away they will do that.
I looked quickly to the leaderboard to see if that amount that I saw above was right and that is right, that is a big amount and I don't know if a single wager or a total amount of winner since they registered that gambling casino. I am not going to judge them as a scammer not unless there were complaints about the scam.
1590  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 02, 2022, 09:43:06 PM
oooh, I missed out.. again!
should probably start tracking the announcement of these more closely
is roobet still organizing one per month or interval is bigger at the moment?
It's uncertain, they ever launch new contest when the previous contest already ended... but sometimes they give a break around 1-2 months just like this contest, the previous was on December and they started the new one on February. You need to visit regularly on Service section or take a look with thread history created by @Hhampuz, because the thread mostly will bump on near the contest ended Grin

awesome, thanks for the heads up, will try to keep an eye on services
someone usually post about it here too?

what is the thread history created by @Hhampuz?
^ No, it usually does not post it here or probably there are a few members I saw posted it here but none of the Roobet team or Hhampuz posting here on the announcement thread. Just check regularly the service section, it posted it there once there is a contest, and usually those months that have yearly events like Christmas and Valentine which is I dont when it will be. For March probably the theme is all about Summer Fun, stay tuned on that thread and you will know.

1592  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC over 50k? on: February 26, 2022, 09:59:42 PM
~snip~

For now, we are seeing some recovery to 40k.We don't even know if it would shoot up to 45k without any hiccups until it reaches 50k or would totally be having some
rejection on that 40k resistance and seeing 30k+ price again? No one really knows actually.
^ No really knows that is the real fact.
But if you will draw a conclusion, why BTC will drop further when there are too many countries that adopted it, look at Ukraine, the even accept BTC and other cryptos for charity. So it means it will create progress on BTC price since we know most altcoins have a pair with BTC when it comes to trading.
My prediction is, we are on the road to $50k, it could be after 3 months or so on by I can't give any guarantee if that will happen by next month. It is still unpredictable, let us see and wait.
1593  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: February 26, 2022, 09:55:02 PM
What we need is a gambling site which is as decentralised as possible and which does not store funds.
This idea is only good for the business, yes its somewhat secure the funds, but not a customer-friendly. If this is executed by a smart contract imagine you need to pay fee for transaction or gas everytime you bet from your wallet. This is not reasonable and no users will last not unless the fee is too small that it cannot affect enough your wallet balance.
Since bitcoin doesnt have smart contract that works like that then the gambling site will only work using its token? Nah, I don't think it can gather lots of users here though. You cab call it a revolutionary or secured, but nevermind.
^ Nah, I will disagree also with the comment above that gambling casino is decentralized and need to bind your smart contracts which kill you from massive fees. We should be thankful that there are some gambling casinos willing to cover the fees when their user withdraw the fund how much more if we are going to pay the transaction fee which is very expensive or let's say a dynamic fee process. So, this is impossible to happen in a decentralized gambling casino. Nevertheless, by now, we should pick a trusted one and have strong security support if we are worried about getting hacked.
1594  Economy / Economics / Re: China says it will trade normally with Russia on: February 26, 2022, 09:47:14 PM
China makes more money by exporting goods all around the world so they never going to announce sanctions to any countries because it is going to affect their economic growth. And China is doing this for very long time with the neighbouring countries so they can't really speak out this is immoral.
^ I like the mindset of the Chinese government they are very practical when it comes to business and make more money on it. We never know that the Chinese government also have to deal with Ukraine even though China was close to Russia, as we know that country of China is the main source of all goods all over the world. No wonder China trade normally in Russia because they are an allied country but China was not showing it because they are in business and trading goods is one of the sources of their economic growth. Just my opinion only.
1595  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why does the price of Bitcoin influence other coins on: February 26, 2022, 09:39:46 PM
What I notice is that most people already believe in bitcoin, so whenever bitcoin price is dropping, people holding alternative coins will panic and they will start selling their coins, which will make price of altcoins will start dropping due to people selling and if the price is increasing people will have confidence and they start buying back altcoins which will make the price to start increasing back. That's just my opinion, it might not be the reason.
^ No, probably that is not the main reason.
As what explanation above, most of the altcoins have been paired with BTC, USDT, and even ETH. So now the most common that has transactions is on BTC which make BTC down when there is also a lot of selling altcoin. For example, I sell my altcoin into BTC and then sell my BTC into fiat, that is the reason why altcoins swing in the same way as BTC. BTC has always transactions when people want to convert their crypto to fiat and it always go on the BTC before it will convert a fiat.
1596  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best future type of trading on: February 26, 2022, 09:31:15 PM
Let us assume there are 3 types of trading, which are:

  • scalping trading
  • day trading
  • swing trading
~snip~
^ You forgot this, (Position Trading).
All you have mentioned above was short-term trading which is very risky on my part because I don't have much time to spend it.
I like long-term trading because it is less risk and it is far away from losing if you are willing to wait when your profit comes and that is position trading which is the most they like. You should be able patiently need to wait weeks, months, or much better a year for a perfect result but yet, if you mean you survive on this way of living, it is not advisable.
1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Metaverse on: February 26, 2022, 09:26:03 PM
Metaverse is one of the new emerging network in crypto and everyone's metaverse will be brighter in the future. every new project related to metaverse is the target of many people today I know that this is the beginning of the metaverse stage and it will become real as time goes on The metaverse reality is coming soon this year.
^ Probably it is a part of evolution and even in the gambling industry this metaverse has been raised and no wonder there will be also a metaverse coin that will raise and make hype. It could probably be hype but at least there is a usage, not like meme coin that it is pure hyped which we know how their progress bost too much this year. For those who really want to invest in metaverse coins just dig first research before investing in them, make sure that the coin you have chosen is useful and it could be not hype.
1598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A little reminder why Bitcoin is necessary on: February 26, 2022, 09:07:39 PM
I'd rather have bitcoin than use paypal, where the terms and conditions are not reliable where paypal regulates our money without being given the freedom to trade like  in bitcoin
^ Nobody wants a centralized exchange these days because of the heavy regulations.
Even on myself, I prefer to use BTC which is more decentralized than Paypal, because you will never know when they will ask for verification again.
Op was right, BTC is most important right now to spend your money without central banks or any authorities involve but the problem is once you have fooled with someone your coins will not easily back there is no chargeback not like fiat.
1599  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: February 26, 2022, 08:56:46 PM
New traders fall into panic which is common. On the first day of war between Ukraine and Russia myself got panic and sold a little of about $300. This happened once after seeing the price crashing steep down in less time. Myself connected the market crash along with the war which gave me a feeling there'll be continued down move. The next day I got surprised to watch the market progressing. This is how market creates panic, and the right one profits.
^ Right at this moment you probably have regret because all coins have been in progress on the market cap.
I did not panic when I heard during this war and I am thinking to purchase a little during the correction, I expect that it goes down further but the fact it did not and now we have a healthy market again and we saw most coins are in green color.
However, even though I am in panic mode but I realize I don't have coins on my portfolio, so how can this panic selling will effect.
1600  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many exchange accounts do you need to daytrade? on: February 26, 2022, 08:49:30 PM
~snip~
But it's bit difficult to manage multiple accounts. I have account with all the major exchanges but 70% i will use Binance and remaining 25% i would use the three exchanges i have mentioned and rarely other exchanges like coinbase, FTX and sometimes DEX.
^ This is true and you are definitely right, it is hard to manage multiple accounts on an exchange and of course, it required fees in every exchange that you have used. I think focusing on one exchange makes you better if you are a day trader but of course, use the exchange that supported a huge altcoin and only Binance had this qualification. This is also to cover your fees when you are in one exchange, the more exchange you have the more fees that you are going to pay.
