Why don't you post here the instruction instead of redirecting people here to another forum.┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌
2402  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 3.3.8 is not opening on Windows 10 on: January 22, 2020, 05:02:58 AM
I see you made lots of work to be able to use the wallet. But maybe you should open a thread on their github issues page as well https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues

I encountered an issue same like this before, I all need was backup the wallet files, delete the whole electrum folder, uninstall the app on Programs and features, download and install the latest version and it works, same as I'm using win 10.
2403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the ways i can cash out Bitcoin in another country? on: January 21, 2020, 09:49:06 AM
Just make sure that the country you want to go to, doesn't have crypto restrictions or say, crypto is banned.

If you are going as a tourist, and for a short period of time, then you have a couple of options:

- Order a bitcoin debit card prior to traveling.
- P2P trading using PayPal or Skrill (make sure they're linked with your Visa card so you can withdraw).
Adding, KYC is mostly a must in those services, so ready your personal documents when trying making an account on the services mentioned on the sheet.

The simplest way is to ready your bitcoin converted to fiat already before you go out to any country since there's no guarantee that the particular country you want to visit has crypto-accepted services.
2404  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can't start a wallet! on: January 21, 2020, 09:34:12 AM
What actually is your issue here?

If you just downloaded electrum and trying to make a new wallet then it's not required to have put a password. Please double check if where you downloaded the software. Make sure you get it from the official source. Site mentioned above - https://electrum.org/#download
2405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff Lost His Bitcoin on: January 20, 2020, 04:35:17 PM
A huge hater and a critic of bitcoin, and this incident does proved that he's just talk with his criticism without learning the technology and technicals behind of what his criticizing.

Plus using a buggy web wallet such blockchain.com is too naive for a ceo of some company.
2406  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Sino Nakapag-open ng Union Bank Account Dito on: January 20, 2020, 07:11:59 AM
Ayaw mo ba gumamit ng coins.ph sa pagbili? Pwede ka bumili ng crypto gamit coins.ph dahil marami silang convenient options kung gusto mo bumili tulad ng mga remittance centers at 7/11 tapos mura pa fee.

I plan to buy other cryptos kasi like Zen, Golem, EOS etc. I am not sure though sa Coins Pro kung pwede gawin.
Also, mas cheaper sa abra kesa sa coins, not sure sa coins pro. Pero if those coins naman yung bibilhin mo, then go ahead for abra.

Like nang mga na mention above, sulit 350 annual fee mo if you had UB online for regular use.

First time ko lang kasi naka-encounter ng savings account na may annual fee.
Yep, sila lang alam ko na o'offer ng ganito unlike sa ibang may maintaining balance.
2407  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Ano ba ang Bitcoin Mixer? on: January 19, 2020, 11:59:25 PM
You can blame the government and media for that.
Wala na tayong magagawa dyan, let them do their work, only yung malawak yung curiosity and more knowledge ang makakaintindi nyan at makakaunawa on how mixers, privacy and bitcoin works.
Mostly, negative headline ang maririnig mo sa mga local news agencies or even international media sa mga ganitong services or technology.
Kailanman never ako nakarinig ng positive feedback from local news media regarding crypto.
2408  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Caixapay is a scam project on: January 19, 2020, 06:26:04 PM
Ah, you should at least give some proofs, evidence rather than playing words against to anyone. I'm not related to them nor siding to anyone, but at least show some proofs to discuss and to check the validity of the acccusation.
2409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market moves in like a mystery! on: January 19, 2020, 06:20:58 PM
Lately the market is showing some positive gains in BTC and most of top altcoins too, but how long it will sustain? and the most common question was is it an organic gains? or just an artificially driven? for me the market movements was remain a mystery maybe it was an organic gains or just artificially driven.
When did you start working in crypto industry?
Cryptocurrency is too volatile which makes it too risky, at least for now. And I can only say is, be used to it. 300-600$ up or downtrend is just common here if you compare a 1-2k move of price in just few hours way back in 2017. So, I say it again, be used to it, and work with it to make and gain profits with it.
2410  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Companies that allow adult ads? on: January 19, 2020, 06:12:54 PM
I want to add ads for my adult content systems. But I want to receive the payments as bitcoins. Are there companies that allow adult content and pay with bitcoin?

You have your adult site / content and you want to displays ads for it in different sites and you want to pay them in bitcoins ?
Is this is your requirement ?   But you said you want to receive payment in bitcoin, so how does that work ?
He work as a publisher, he has a website with adult contents, and wants some ad network such a-ads or anything to apply with and put those ads on his website and this ad-network will pay him with bitcoin, that's what he means.

But sadly I can't see any crpyto-paying ad-network that accepts adult contents for now.
2411  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question about instant exchanges on: January 19, 2020, 06:04:50 PM
Hey guys, thank you very much for the insight,

After comparing the names of the quick exchanges previously provided I was able to get a conclusion,

changehero.io/swapsv is by far the best option to purchase those coins, and the best thing is that I don't need to register on this site! Thank you very much!

I would rather use flyp.me which was mentioned above than using this random platform without any reputation and even enough reviews in regards to your money,
2412  Other / Meta / Re: Facing a problem with chrome mobile browser during giving feedback. on: January 19, 2020, 05:44:25 PM
Maybe on browser side. But how to solve? Need to wait for upcoming update?
Can't help it though, since I'm using my phone with different browsers including chrome and never faced any problem like yours while attempting to make trust feedback to someone.

Just try firefox if its still the same.

Peter Schiff Says Owning Bitcoin (BTC) Was 'Bad Idea' After Losing

After an eight percent dump, it seemed like things couldn't get better for Bitcoin bears in the likes of Euro Pacific Capital CEO Peter Schiff. However, instead of gloating over the humiliating defeat of the bulls, the gold bug took to Twitter to express his frustration over losing access to his BTC holdings.

I just can't help but laugh after reading this. While making any digital accounts/wallet, after all its your responsible as the owner to save and take care of your digital belongings, at least make a backup and secure your device.

2414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the status appear MOVED and not SENT? on: January 19, 2020, 05:31:33 PM
but the ting is that i have sent these since yesterday and the address where i set is empty yet!
Because you haven't actually sent those coins. If you are willing to share the transaction ID, perhaps we can take a closer look.
If you're still facing this problem then I suggest doing this (above suggestion) for us to help. Also, try to make a support ticket to the betting site you're using about this issue.
2415  Other / Meta / Re: [Discussion] A Bug in Bounty Campaigns – Unconscious Perception on: January 19, 2020, 05:23:43 PM
And with everything being so sophisticated nowadays, the companies advertising and promoting via bounty campaigns in here, are missing out on a lot of recognition and optimizing their visibility by not using the option of a) forcing the users to wear their avatar and b) not paying equal money compared to the signature for wearing their avatar. I could even think of avatar-only bounty campaigns, which have been here in the past every now and then, but I haven't seen any for a long time.

So this is maybe just some food for thought for the bounty managers in here, but these campaigns also give some value to bitcointalk - like it or not.
That might be a good suggestion for future bounty campaigns but avatars is not enough for over-all marketing, they might be good for branding, but can't be metered by some analytical tools since ads are for marketing purposes it's way more easy to use a signature with URL to measure and/or manage their marketing performance here in the forum for which help them to act their next step, to continue or to stop the campaign.
2416  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Forgot brain wallet phrase sequence, anything simple I can use? on: January 19, 2020, 04:43:42 PM
Do you have all the phrases with you but not in a sequence ? If so, then i think you can recover it easily because as soon as you write the next letter if gives you different option and you can choose from it. Here is an example screenshot.
Doesn't make sense even he writes the correct spelling or something recommendation while writing, if the order of the words/seed is not properly ordered then that's a big issue since different wallet address will be generated.
2417  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 19, 2020, 04:38:41 PM
What do you mean your 2 cents? Even sa 2 cents may OTP din?
Something idiomatic expression na something giving opinions or advice etc. di literal na meaning~

Btw yep, I just received it as well, but ignored ko lang, not sure if need pa ng ganyan if 2fa enabled since di na mention kase pag meron pa, double authentication na yan and mas hassle.
2418  Other / Meta / Re: Facing a problem with chrome mobile browser during giving feedback. on: January 19, 2020, 04:30:45 PM
It seems a bug on browser side or on the device itself, not on the forum IMO, someone had the same issue encountered here Bug??? Trust Feedback (Comment Section)
2419  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can You Estimate How Much In Total Yobit Has Paid Out In Campaign Fees ? on: January 18, 2020, 11:58:30 PM
If we're counting from their very first campaign of yobit to cryptotalk then it will be over hundred thousands can't guess estimated amount of BTC though or even more, though they have smaller reward than other campaigns but I can see it as an average rate with plus with no maximum participants to join their campaigns so...

Ah, they won't stop now, especially they have hired a manager to check the participants posting behaviour which many favors over their past campaigns in which they don't have, as long as their exchange still running and keep selected scamming, their campaign here and on cryptotalk will keep going.

Motives? Clearly, only to keep their services/name sounds good while still doing their shitty behaviour on their exchange.

2420  Economy / Services / Re: Rewarding the first person who can track where the btc went to on: January 18, 2020, 06:00:16 PM
I am basically looking for where the bitcoin are so I can contact the exchange / wallet provider to potentially freeze the funds.
For now, it's too hard to trace if the wallet is owned by an exchange/wallet since it seems those addresses are new generated wallets without any transaction history other than the first transfer of more than 1+ btc each which I think the one you're saying about the stolen funds from different people.
