1461  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bitextrum exchange? on: October 10, 2020, 03:40:24 PM
I was scammed by this site when I searched before for reviews I could not see anything but site seems like legit so totally I lost 0.05 btc
The site is still new so there is no one who report and make a review against the exchange. As a user say above when you googling the review for this exchange the site's review just tell the exchange is safe for any malware but we don't in the other factor. I feel sorry for your loss, you have to make this incident aas your learning in the future. Never trust your money to the new exchange, just choose an exchange which has many user.
Newbies are prone to those new website with good offer that's why user should set their own standard when dealing any website, if there's no review ask the community, if the site has lots of negative feedbacks and scam reports then obviously, find alternatives and stay away to that site for good.
1462  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How wallets make money? It is worse than you think. on: October 10, 2020, 10:12:22 AM
I thought that most wallets make through the fee for each transaction. They will put a small mark up with the transaction fees and that's it. I didn't know that they're asking the same thing just as the exchanges to keep a coin listed and supported.

Most likely fee you see on most wallet are transaction fee which taken by miner (for altcoin it might be people who stake coin/run node), not fee which taken by developer of the wallet.
What I thought of is that they are adding a bit of satoshis where they get profit through marking up the fees that we pay for using them. I don't see any other source of revenue for them except the listing fee that they are taking from altcoin developers who are supporting. But thanks for that clarity.
Exchanges and custodial wallet do that way since they send in bulk and not for non-custodial wallet such coinomi.
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Square Says It Bought $50 Million of Bitcoin on: October 09, 2020, 05:34:38 PM
What would Square do with 50mil worth of Bitcoin? What are they working on or planning to do?
For business? They have cash app, which can be used to buy and sell bitcoin in the US and UK so that's the best thing to do and/or reserve fund against inflation since USD will be devalued more and more.

1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 08, 2020, 07:04:44 PM
How anyone who Say Can proof Bitcoin is not ponzi?

There is More proof and evidence that it is ponzi.
Give us at least one you have in mind.

Ponzi is Old investors getting from new investors payed
Bitcoin doesn't pay or paid anyone, it doesn't even promise profit that your sh*t will grow on just 24 hours, days, weeks, months or years, bitcoin doesn't have any referral.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoins completely disappeared and are gone on: October 08, 2020, 06:45:00 PM
Hello. I made a really big mistake today. I transferred funds from my blockchain wallet to my electrum wallet. I had done a practice transfer yesterday with a small amount of money, and everything worked perfectly. So I assumed I'd be able to just copy and paste the wallet address and send the money like normal.
If this is just a syncronization issue, you can check and confirm your funds on blockchain explorer, searching the address you used to received, if there's no outgoing transaction then your funds is still there and you only need to wait untill the syncing's complete, but most probably it doesn't take that long.
1467  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bit-exchange.top Scammed me - Stay Safe on: October 07, 2020, 06:13:17 PM
Sorry for the loss. But how you end up at that site? On what site/ads you found it? No matter how it offers with good rates there's no way I will use such site, even the first look of it will give you a hint.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 07, 2020, 05:59:47 PM
Even there are many people use bitcoin as it has lots of advantages, for a beginner, its not easy for them to use. First instead of using wallet they end up on exchanges since its more user-friendly than a wallet that takes more technical knowledge to use or whatever. Second, they need to buy bitcoin first before sending it to their receiver, and collect the so called bitcoin address or say email address for paypal or bank account number for them to be able to send well its easy for us idk how they react when someone give them a random alphanumeric string for them to send their bitcoin. Then lastly the price, if they're relying too much on usd rate of bitcoin then its hard for them send bitcoin since it continue to change time to time.

Not unless these beginners understand truly the essence of sending/using bitcoin instead of fiat.
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 07, 2020, 03:03:31 PM
I saw some of his tweets while on spain walking without any face mask with confidence, only to find out he will be imprisoned there. Idk if he really expect that authorities in spain will do such thing.

I think a lot of people are going to walk away from this arrest. His famous "I will eat my dick" won him many enemies
I was really in to it when he made that tweet lol, but what d'you expect.
1470  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph nangangaltas on: October 06, 2020, 08:19:28 PM
Nagconvert ako ng php to btc tapos nabawasan yung equivalent tapos nung nag send din ako btc from coinsph wallet to coinsph wallet nabawasan din. Umayos kayo Coins.ph ah nangigigil ako ngayon.
Yeah, dahil yan sa buy and selling rate nila which is malaking kaltas compare sa ibang exchange, at normal na yan sa coins.

Sa sending naman, depends, if nag send ka from php wallet to other coins php wallet same amount yung ma rereceive pero pag bitcoin to php or php to bitcoin wallet, may kaltas yun same sa first issue mo.
1471  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 04, 2020, 09:17:19 PM
Please winners. I trusted that this would be a fair game. But the payments might be put on hold. Please justify the obligations.
Yeah, same for those who will receive consolation prizes.

Now, mentioning @nellayar and @Serious475. I guess you should know that this logo you submitted will be used as a brand for a business.

Please confirm and justify or else you will get tagged for plagiarising of others works.
1472  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 04, 2020, 05:10:43 PM

1473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cuong Truong version of Bitcoin logo on: October 04, 2020, 04:00:56 PM
What do you think?
What's the reason to get a new logo? That logo isn't B as read for Bitcoin, that's something like number 13. I'd rather suggest you to focus on different matters related to bitcoin instead of having a new symbol/logo.
1474  Local / Pamilihan / Re: May buyer ba dito ng BTC x Cash? on: October 04, 2020, 02:38:59 PM
Normal na sir ang trust issue sa ganitong transactions kaya I understand your predicaments in dealing with newbie account like mine pero wala pa naman akong negative trust score so I hope that will lessen the doubt kahit papano   Smiley.

Just the same kung meron man buyer dito just let me know.
I tell you mahirap dito makahanap ng buyer related sa cash/btc transaction, mas pipiliin nilang p2p using trusted platform, or trade sa local exchange. If may mag transact man with cash, siguro kakilala lang.

For what reason na ayaw niya ng online transaction using bank, e-wallet(gcash, paymaya, etc.) or OTC to BTC, instead na cash? lalo na may covid.
1475  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bagong Digital Telco Gomo PH on: October 04, 2020, 02:29:52 PM
Maybe next is mag provide ka ng other source of information such official website, shop, article and etc. regarding sa info/topic na binigay mo.

Anyway, here's some details regarding sa gomo ph. Website nila - https://www.gomo.ph/

Under siya sa globe network, so dibale lahat ng may signal ng globe is avail to.

At kagandahan mura na ang 199 pesos nila na may libreng Sim card.
At maybe I should rephrase this, "simcard is worth 199 php with free 25 GB".

Which i guess mura nga kesa sa existing promo ng globe now, ang alam ko 120php for 10 GB lang, idk kung ilang GB naman ang worth ng 200 php sa globe.

Maybe you can give us kahit kunting review lang after mo magamit, anu ba internet experience mo with gomo
1476  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Paxful is a scam ? on: October 04, 2020, 01:03:45 PM
That's not going to work since he already submitted the passport. The name on the proof of address document must match the one in the passport.
Oh, yeah, I overlooked he already submitted it, now it seems like there's no way to get OP's funds out there.
1477  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 04, 2020, 12:37:31 PM

Are you living in one of these countries on this list of OFAC grey/high-risk countries?

I guess you should read their terms first. But anyway, I don't think anyone here can help you with them if their support replies barely for a month.

Also, weird, they said you're from restricted country, now they want you to verify your account before you can withdraw your funds, and your country isn't on their list for address verification, in which there's nothing you can do for address verification.

What on my mind is to submit ID from someone you knew from other country that isn't on their list so that you can withdraw your funds, but that's something difficut I guess and somewhat unlawful from their end.
