La Comisión de comercio y futuros de productos básicos (CFTC, por sus siglas en inglés) ha aprobado a LedgerX para ofrecer futuros de Bitcoin liquidados físicamente. Este podría ser un gran paso adelante para las regulaciones de criptomonedas en los Estados Unidos.

Con sede en Nueva York, LedgerX es una plataforma de administración de activos criptográficos que ha ofrecido una serie de diferentes opciones comerciales de BTC desde su lanzamiento en 2014.

The bitcoin (BTC) price is unlikely to break $40,000 in 2019, Bitcoin Knowledge podcast host Trace Mayer declared as part of new analysis on June 24.

Uploading fresh readings from his price forecasting tool, the ‘Mayer Multiple,’ the serial commentator and bitcoin proponent said that current trajectory should favor an end-of-year bitcoin price of $21,000.

Former Wall Street trader and host of the Keiser Report Max Keiser was leading the backlash against the bitcoin (BTC) naysayers this weekend as the bitcoin price passed $11,000.

Two relatively minor vulnerabilities will likely be disclosed sometime soon.

The first vulnerability, CVE-2017-18350, was introduced in v0.7.0 (released in
2012 September), and affects all versions released until the fix was included
in v0.15.1 (released in 2017 November). No versions prior to v0.15.1 are
expected to be fixed.

The second vulnerability, CVE-2018-20586, was introduced in v0.12.0 (released
in 2016 February), and affects all versions released until the fix was
included in v0.17.1 (released in 2018 December). As of today, this fix has
NOT been backported to older versions. When/if v0.15.3 and v0.16.4 are
released, they may also include a fix, but due to the minor severity of this
vulnerability, it does not merit a dedicated release on its own. (The git
branches are also NOT fixed at this time.)

Please be sure you have upgraded to a fixed version no later than August 1st.

The weekend has been nothing short of monumental for Bitcoin. Yesterday BTC hit a new 2019 and 15 month high of $11,250 as it’s market cap touched $200 billion. Since then top crypto asset has cooled off a little. It is now back at $10,700 it’s latest traded value for the past day or so.
