I don't know shit about this, but were the Crusades not a reaction to Islamic global conquest? In either case though I agree, fuck religion.


However, there is one line of defense I would like to give for it.

Prayer I believe could be an extremely useful tool. I'm pretty sure no sky daddy is going to respond to it. But it is a form of silent contemplation, something that modern humans seemingly lost entirely due to the constant exposure to flashy stimuli and instant gratification. Sitting down in silence and thinking about what you care enough about in your life to pray to some God to is a great tool when it comes to readjusting your own inner compass.
I don't think religion is needed for it, I certainly had no need for it. But if it gets people to do what they otherwise would not, then at least that aspect would be a net positive. No different from "meditation" or a lone walk through nature though. Or a good drink while sitting down and listening to an album that gets your thoughts going.

Also, religious scripture has some striking similarities to contemporary science. I've been wondering if some of the people writing it might have had an intuitive understanding of reality and used the limited language and tools they had to try and communicate it. But of course, once things get popular they attract lunatics and become corrupted, as is self-evident.

Respect and values absolutely.

Education is a bit tricky, since what passes as such today is utter garbage so fighting to maintain it could stop us from making progress on that front. You don't want hardcore education-conservatives when education in its current form is too shitty to be worth conserving.

Culture is also a little too vague. The Nazis and Mayans for example had an interesting culture, but I'm sure we don't want either back.

You are right in what you say, any person with a minimum of intelligence knows that in a few minutes of reflection you will get a clearer vision of their problems.

The problem is that there is a large part of the world where manipulation prevents and prohibits people from accessing knowledge.

Any cultured and free person can dispense with all religions.

I am presuming this to be a question based on current market conditions, and BTC expectations on such current market conditions.. so to be able to say that you are in a kind of "fuck you" status right now.. and based on minimum number of coins to perceive yourself to have sufficiently reached such "fuck you" status.

Since you may have seen some of my posts on that subject, you likely have a decent idea where I fall. Accordingly, I do believe that the ranges at the bottom are too small and the ranges at the top are too large, but I suppose we can see where the respondents fall and I suspect that the results should skew towards the top.... based on what I believe to be the presumptions of the question; however, can already see that the results seem to be more scattered so responders seem to be reaching presumptions different from my own... who would have thunk?    Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Previously Hacked Gatecoin Exchange Receives Liquidation Order Following Banking Problems

Gatecoin, a crypto exchange that was hacked in May 2016, has announced on March 13 that it has received a winding up (compulsory liquidation) order from an unspecified court.

The company wrote that Gatecoin will have to cease operation with immediate effect, noting that the exchange will assist in the liquidation process in order to distribute assets to the creditors.

New legislation affecting Bitcoin and crypto just passed the US House of Representatives. The FinCen Improvement Act, introduced on February 27 by representative Jennifer Wexton (D-VA), passed the House on Monday and was received in the Senate on Tuesday.

La veo bien, pero cada uno es mas afín según sus preferencias por cada moneda, mi caso es 100x100 BTC, pero si tuviera que diversificar el mínimo en BTC seria el 75% y el resto dividido en otras monedas.
No se si veremos pronto un nuevo ATH, depende si hacemos el camino solos o empiezan a entrar inversores institucionales, de momento vamos de lado entre 3500 y 4000$ y el pulso o sentimiento de mercado a mi entender es que se está comprando o acumulando ya sea en cantidades pequeñas o quien tiene los bolsillos grandes, pues mas.

Fíjate que aparte de muchas noticias crypto, hay un montón de noticias sobre regulaciones, estados que adoptan el pago de impuestos en moneda virtual, control de los intercambios, bancos que se están introduciendo, fondos, derivados, seguro que algo se esta cociendo y los de siempre seremos los últimos en enterarnos y como siempre nos tocará subir al tren en marcha en el vagón de cola.

Dices que llevas 5 años, llevo menos que tu, pero si que me he dado cuenta que BTC hace lo que quiere y cuando quiere. Wink
