Hacker selling 26M stolen user records in exchange for $5,000 worth of Bitcoin

A hacker by the name of Gnosticplayers is trying to sell more than 26 million user records on the dark web in exchange for $5,000 worth of Bitcoin (1.2431 BTC).

This is the fourth data dump posted on Dream Market – an online darknet marketplace founded in late 2013 – by the hacker, who previously put up more than 840 million user records since mid-February.

In a major milestone for bitcoin adoption, the ‘Amazon’ of Switzerland, Digitec-Galaxus, is now accepting bitcoin and other select cryptocurrencies as a means of payment.

"Cryptocurrencies are fascinating and could become a relevant means of payment in e-commerce. We would like to support this development,” says Digitec co-founder Oliver Herren and Chief Innovation Officer. “We wanted to do that for a long time, but the effort was too long for a long time."

More electronic commerce with this initiative and we are ready for the trip without return.

The same day, the firm also plans a pre-sale of its native token “2GT” via the app, aiming to raise €5 million (or $5.65 million). All EU citizens can participate, it said.

Banking Startup Launching Visa Card That Lets You Spend 7 Cryptos

In an announcement, 2gether said customers will be able to use the card to pay with either euros or any of the following seven cryptocurrencies: bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), XRP, bitcoin cash (BCH), EOS, Stellar (XLM) and litecoin (LTC). The card “instantly” converts the cryptos to fiat currency and, it said, and can be used fee-free by customers in any of the 19 eurozone nations.

Says Venture Capitalist, Tim Draper

The great thing about cryptocurrency is that it is not tied to a government.

HURR DURR, well except for the fact shitcoins run on top of the govt's own infrastructure with completely non-obfuscated traffic, allowing them to be obliterated in seconds just like how they censored Zerohedge in New Zealand for no reason.  Even if you obfuscate the traffic, transaction validators are designed to centralize into a tiny amount of football stadium-sized mining facilities that the govt can just walk up to and seize it or shut it down.

The fact the govt so far has done absolutely nothing to try and stop digital shitcoins and instead they promote them and actually create bills in congress ENCOURAGING people to use them tells you all you need to know - it's a govt created scam to try and lure people into a cashless society slave system and away from physical metals.

You will need to a truck to transport your metals. Wink

The great thing about cryptocurrency is that it is not tied to a government. Governments control you by controlling your currency. Governments have to switch from control to service. Governments have to start thinking in terms of, ‘How do I attract citizens to my government?’ as opposed to ‘You live here, you work for me.’

For those that say that an electric car can't run the N Ring, that's no longer correct.  The NIO EP9 has run the ring in 6:45.  https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/nio/ep9/97707/nextevs-nio-ep9-all-electric-hypercar-smashes-nurburgring-record-pictures-and-video

That's 2 seconds faster than the 911 GT2 RS

Its all about the V8 sound brother Smiley (for me though)

Understood.  I have friends who feel the same way Smiley

Easily solved with a capable car stereo and suitable synthesis for engine sounds.

I mean, if that's the hill you want to die upon.

Sensation of pleasure in terms of bitcoinner.

Why Most Educated People Fail to Understand Bitcoin

Misir Mahmudov, a widely-followed and respected bitcoin (BTC) analyst, has argued that “most educated people fail to appreciate bitcoin because they only specialize in one field.” In order to truly understand how bitcoin works, Mahmudov, a financial economics student at Columbia University, recommends having some grasp of basic computer science and economics concepts.

First proposed in a whitepaper published in November 2008 by its pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, the Bitcoin protocol specifies how an electronic peer-to-peer (P2P) cash system should work. For the first time, modern cryptographic techniques were applied to create what’s now a multi-billion dollar experiment in monetary theory.

Si no tienes tus llaves, no tienes nada.
