Its from 09 of Oct. and missing a lot of transaction..It takes ages to sync them..

Don't install cuda-toolkit, install cuda8 run file instead.
What errors are you getting?

Then please state this on the pool page.
It's misleading then... but anyway looks like it needs some serious overhaul.

Not to mention the sync of blockchain is pain in the ass.

ocminer/pallas can you please also provide the most recent blockchain for download? So we speed up syncing.

Go back one page.

I just received this message on suprnova:
This pool will be closing soon as Polo removes XCN from the Exchange - please move over to xcn.1gh.com - Thanks !

Thats it..XCN finally dead..

Pallas, you can open the source of optimized version - it is not needed anymore... xcn pool will be last pool and last node of XCN. Complitly dead.. I think you are mining Zcoin on GPU. What is your hashrate on single 1070?

No and no.
You can mine on 1gh and trade on btc38 or bter.

What about Zcoin? Did you made a gpu miner? I achieved 74h/s on dual E5-2690 by compiling with icc...

That's a bit OT but zcoin lyra implementation is very hard on GPU, as the lyra matrix grows with block height. Surely possible to do, likely to be slower than cpu.

1gh is a good pool and you can use btc38 as exchange.

Working nodes is not a problem.
Working block explorer: the code is in github, any volunteers?

Updated wallet? Huh anything we can also use?
You have the current blockchain..maybe you can also offer it for download somewhere so we get a better syncing for all people.

Ah what i wanted to ask..you complied now on Ubuntu 16.04? Or still 14.04..stoneage :-D

It's all available in the coin thread, look in the last page.

Looks like XCN gets delisted from Poloniex due to weak network and transaction explorer the lack of it.
So its getting pointless to mine this coin right?

I wouldn't say "weak network" but "weak exchange": they are unable to run the wallet, I offered to help, given them the blockchain and a patched wallet, still nothing. I think they just want to reduce supply in order to pump it.

Dear community,

actually its extremely fascinating to bring new stuff for you! Thanks for contributing and always spread the word about BitSend in the world. Remember to our weekly giveaways.

Now we present you the world's first XEVAN CPU Miner. One post above you see the XEVAN Testnet. So its already possible to mine in a testperiod with the brandnew XEVAN CPU Miner.

Besides, the wallet is taking literally days to sync in testnet.

You need the testnet wallet and source.

XEVAN Testnet is online 1.2.0.0.

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitSend/releases

Testnet.Xevan.zip  Source and Windows build. (This build ins't compatible with the mainnet(different switchtime))

Enter this to connect:

Code:
addnode 85.214.68.75 onetry

Best Regards Christian

I was already using that, I tried again with the -testnet switch, now it is at block 886, is it correct?

If you can wait a bit, I will commit the changes to github.

Thank You!  I can wait.

Here it is! :-)

New commit: "GCC 5.4 and cuda8 final build fix"

Enjoy!

Seeing how a few super miners are sucking up most of the blocks......I'll share this......

May I have your window mining soft for xzc ? Thank you

I am not using Windows mining software. On the VPS you have to learn to use zcoind.

And about the droplet question, yes each droplet is mining individually.

I will edit this post to answer future questions, instead of creating new posts.
So if I understand(not sure I do) then it was as if you had 25 wallets self mining , one on each droplet?
If that is the case what kind of hash rate did they perform at?

It will be more effective if you can point cpuminer to one wallet instead of running 25wallets although Im not sure on how its done. Any ideas?

statistically speaking, there is no difference.

nvcc is not in the PATH.
find it and then:

export PATH=***nvcc directory***:$PATH

if you install cuda by .run file, it will be into a subdir of /usr/local, don't know about the deb method.
you can run "find / -xdev -name nvcc" if unsure.

OK, GOOD, NVCC IS THERE--

But, then "make" failed on not finding "gcc-4.9".  An attempt to install v4.9 revealed that  gcc-4.9 was up-to-date.  I then created a symlink to the "/usr/bin/gcc-4.8" directory with "sudo ln -s /usr/bin/gcc-4.8 /usr/bin/gcc-4.9".

On returning to the "pallas" directory, I issued the command "make", and the compilation continued from where it had errored out.  The compilation is running while I type this.

VOILA'  It compiled!!!! I  ran the "--help" command.  Right now, the machine is mining Ethereum (ETH), and I will check out your work sometime today.  Thank you, Pallas!

Evening scryptr - I tried your method above - in full disclosure - I am a Ubuntu noob.  I keep running into this error and have tried now for 24 hours with no luck to get past this point.  I am running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

The error:

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks - pokeytex

your system headers have those typedefs already defined. probably gcc 5.4, the issue wasn't there with older compilers.
you need to remove those definitions at the beginning of the related files.
there are a bunch.
or use gcc 4.9 (the default for this fork).

I have an important question for you all!

Would you guys support a coinswap?
Basically, I made mistakes, I get to feel these mistakes now and would jump past them by switching to a completely new coinbase.
Ready for segwit to be implemented and move to LN.
This would cut development by many many weeks/months and we'd get to our goal very faster.

If you oppose a coinswap, please don't just say "No" but explain with arguments why you think its bad.

J.V.

I followed a couple coin swaps in the past and I think they are OK. It must be taken into account that they require a lot of support for the users. Novaexchange can host the swap.

A coin with big price swings is an OPPORTUNITY :-D

Lottery is an opportunity. Betting on horse races is an opportunity. Paying a visit to your local casino may be an opportunity. ZCoin isn't an "opportunity", it's one of the most advanced cryptocurrencies ever released, built upon rock-solid technology. Did you read the Zerocoin protocol whitepaper? Do you even know what a zero-knowledge proof is?  All I can see here it's a vocal minority of minus habens spreading FUD and misinformation that don't have the foggiest idea of all the benefits that truly anonymous cryptocurrencies can bring to everybody.

I've been making miners and developing coins for years so yes, I know my way.
You've taken it too seriously.

Just a small correction here.

Zcoin (XZC) uses Lyra2REv2, and this algorithm is supported already for a long time on NiceHash.

No, Zcoin uses pure Lyra2 (not the chained Lyra2REv1 or v2), additionally the Lyra matrix grows with height.

btw any tips on getting good speeds out of 750tis? im getting about 10-15 mhs from 2 cards oced at 1370mhz gpu , 3060mhz on ram , slowly pushing that oc more but taking it slow , its quite inconsistent depending on share rate . is that good ? bad ? normal? i dunno , using djms original m7 cuda ccminer , ty djm for that ur a champ .  ps . was also thinking the inconsistent hashrates maybe to do with the algo itself since it is 7 algos in 1 but not sure , i big noob .

djm miner is very good but has some bugs and missing features, including wrong hashrate calculation and single nonce submission.
